@me account is displayed twice.

In iCal under File > New Calendar, the list is as follows: On My Mac, [email protected], Google, [email protected]
The problem I'm encountering is when I go to add a calendar to my @me.com account there are two listed. The first and second @me.com account are the same username, but only the first one is what syncs to my MobleMe account. The second does not. It doesn't sync with anything and just makes using iCal a pain. How do I remove the redundant @me.com account from iCal?

Try refreshing the iCal plist file.
The com.apple.iCal.plist file is in your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder. To get to the Library folder use Finder>Go>Depress the "Option" Key and select LIbrary. Quit iCal, drag the .plist file to your Desktop.
Also, while you have the Library Folder open, go to the "Calendars" Folder and delete any/all files with "Cache" in the file name. Then log out/in or restart.

Mail messages sometimes displaying twice

Lately, Mail sometimes displays new messages that have just arrived twice. There don't seem to be 2 actual copies of the message in the inbox, just the same messages displayed twice. It's kind of an odd behavior, really. If a message is clicked on and viewed in the preview window, the duplicate displayed doesn't change from unread to read. However, if a message is deleted both lines displaying the message go away and only one appears in the trash.
This doesn't happen all of the time, just sometimes. Shutting down mail and reopening it gets rid of the duplicated message displays, but then some other time checking mail it will happen again.
Anybody have any ideas on how to make this go away permanently? Thanks in advance.

I don’t know what’s going on here. It looks as if the the account had been set up twice in Mail > Preferences > Accounts, even though you say it appears there only once...
Try re-creating the file where the account settings are stored:
1. Quit Mail if it’s running.
2. Make a backup copy of the ~/Library/Mail folder, just in case something goes wrong while trying to solve the problem. You can do this in the Finder by dragging the Mail folder to the Desktop while holding the Option (Alt) key down, for example. This is where all your mail is locally stored.
3. In the Finder, go to ~/Library/Preferences/. Locate com.apple.mail.plist and move it to the Desktop (to be deleted if this solves the problem).
4. Open Mail. You’ll have to set up your non-.Mac accounts from scratch all over again. If given the option to import existing mailboxes or something like that, don’t. Just enter the account information and Mail will automagically rediscover the data in ~/Library/Mail/ when done.
5. You’ll have to re-configure most of your settings in Mail > Preferences. For spam-related security reasons, the first thing you should do is go to Preferences > Viewing and disable Display remote images in HTML messages if it’s enabled.
6. As a side effect of re-creating com.apple.mail.plist, Mail might rename Outbox (which is where messages waiting to be sent are stored) to Delivered. The name of that mailbox is actually a misnomer, as it would contain messages (if any) that couldn’t be delivered for some reason. You can delete that mailbox if you wish.
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder. You can easily locate any of the folders referred to in this post by copying the folder path here, doing Go > Go to Folder in the Finder, and pasting the folder path there.

Content in header displayed twice

Hi,
I am exploring sample portal app on WL platform 8.1 . if i add any text,etc in the header, it is displayed twice on the rendered page ...
same happens for footer also..
I am changing header.jsp and footer.jsp in the default skeleton
sometimes it results in null-pointer exception
i am still searching this newsgroup, for such case.. please help.

Yesterday was my first day on portal and was trying it out without reading in details of the working. Now that i have read it I won't be touching skeleton files.
Same names used for header in skeleton and shell were a bit confusing
Doc says "do not be confused by the identically named header.jsp for both the look & feel and the shell header. They are different files with different uses. The fact that both have the same name is coincidence."

G/L Account Line Display Vendor

Hi Gurus,
I have a FICO requirement that user wants an additional field in FBL3N, Vendor means G/L Account Line Display Vendor...
I hava configure it, throught SPRO....and it is showing now in FBL3N (Vendor Field)...
But problem is that This Vendor field don't show any value..i create some entries after configure it, but after all not showing Vendor.
Please help me out..........

It's not possible in the standard t.code...
I configure it throught spro, but only field comes, not values...
if u will do posting through FI, it's not possible...it's possible only when u follow all the procedure through MM...
So, plz prepare customised report for it, and don;t waste ur time in it...

As we know to display GL Account Balance Display we have std report "FAGL_ACCOUNT_BALANCE" But we can not run this in background as it is ALV report.
So I would like to know a similar report which could be scheduled in the background.

Hi,
As division is not header field of invoice it is not available in accounting document header as well. Thus it will not be available in any standard reports showning items per account. I'm affraid you need to develop your own report or try to extend existing using user-/customer-exits.

Then go to MM --> Purchasing --> Account assignment --> Maintain account assignment category _-> Select cost center K --> Change view account assignment details you can
make G L account as mand or optional or display or hidden.

We have a report in that particular report we can see the Balances of TOTAL COST OF SALES,Total wages & salaries,Total other staff costs,Total designing & merchantiging, Total selling, Total Depriciation,Total Distribution & TOTAL SUNDRY & GENERAL .
In the above report one GL account is appearing twice (The acct name SMALL DIFFERENCES ACCT) in the section of TOTAL COST OF SALES AND TOTAL SUNDRY & GENERAL

You have not mention that which report like Z report or standard one.
However, if it is Z report, the GL may be grouped twice in the report. and ask your ABAP team to find from where it is getting value. So that, it is easy to track why it is appearing twice in the report.
If it is standard report, check your FSV for the correct grouping.

Click on Account Entity Display Columns Based on Business Units

i have Account Entity.when you click on Account Entity List of Records should Displayed.Now i want to show columns based different Business unit user logged in.
Normally Account will Display Columns like:AccountName,MainPhone,Address1:City,Primary Contact,Email.
if user of business unit1 is logged in i want show accoutname email ,Address1:City only
if user of business unit2 is logged in i want show AccountName,Primary Contact,EMail,MainPhone.
how this can achieved.could anybody help me onthis?

You can create different personnel views with selected columns and share the respective views only with that particular BU users, So the users who logs in will be able to see only those views.

Email signature displayed twice

Hi there,
I use MS Outlook on my iMac to send/receive emails. In Outlook, I have an email signature setup which consists of some text and a few images.
I've never used the mail app on the iPad so I wanted to test it by sending myself an email using Outlook on my Mac but opening the email on my iPad. When I opened the email on my iPad using the mail app, the signature was displayed twice. Can this be fixed? Note: this is def something to do with the mail app on my iPad because when I send emails to other people from my mac the signature is never displayed twice.

I have the same issue in Mail.app on the Mac. When I get emails from Outlook users that have images in the signature, the image appears twice.

Portal favorites Iview Displaying twice in detailed navigation iview

Hi All,
I am facing one issue in portal...
In all the roles Portal Favorites Ivew is displaying twice in the detailed navigation iview. And the options in the Iview are different like details, refresh, Open a new window....
I have only one default framework assigned to my desktop....
I cldnot trace out which is causing this issue...
Could someone adivse me on this...?
