I'm not getting middle eastern language in creative cloud? First anyone know how do I get that option?

Please do never post serial numbers here.
CS2 can lo longer be activated the usual way. Read all about it and find a download link for a working version and new serial number here:

You are entitled to the CS2 version that will work without activation, since the activation servers were taken offline. Read the instructions and follow them on this page.

Cannot (re)-active CS3, Adobe does not help

Hello All,
My wife has a macbook running Photoshop CS3 and Illustrator CS3. These are not part of the CS but applications that were bought separately. They still work and are perfectly fine for the work that needs to be done.
The Macbook crashed yesterday so I re-installed OS X from a time machine backup. I was not able to de-activate the software before restoring the system.
Now that the computer is fixed, both applications ask to activate before you can open them. Activating over the internet does not work due to an "connection error". I tried activating over the phone but that does not work either. You are then transfered to an automated message saying that Adobe no longer "supports activation issues over the phone".
A website address was given (adobe.com/go/activation) where no solution is found.
I then started a live chat with support. The support person could see that the software was properly registered, and that both serial numbers have an activation remaining. But he did not help me with activation, since Adobe "only supports current products". Advice was given to look into the forums, or to use my CS3 to purchase a Creative Cloud subscription, which we do not need or want.
So Adobe leaves us in the cold with their software were they choose to put restrictions on to protect it from piracy but that are now preventing the legitimate user to continue using it.
My question: what to do to get both Photoshop and Illustrator running again?

Thanks for your answer.
The error I get is that I get stuck in the activation screen.
Then I tried over the phone, giving in the serial and the second number that appears.
It takes a while and then it says that activation was not succesfull.
I will dm you the serials and adobe ID later (I don't have access to that computer here.

I've spent quite some time on this and agree there is definitely a problem. It seems that with v11 and v12 installed the preview will only work in one and not the other. Which one it works in appears to depend on what order they were installed / uninstalled.
I've reported it as a bug.

In adobe 7 you can click on help and than transfer
activation. In adobe 8 there is nothing that says transfer

Mais quand je vais sur l'a plateforme de téléchargement (www.adobe.com/go/getserial), j'arrive à rentrer ma clé et à obtenir un n° de série mais pas à télécharger : j'obtiens le message "Erreur de l'assistant de téléchargement" depuis 2 jours. Qu'est-ce qui se passe ?
Remarque : j'ai ezssayé en utilisant Google Chrome et Mozilla Firefox, c'est pareil.

Normally you just need to go to https://creative.adobe.com/redeem and sign in with your Adobe ID to activate the code. The address you gave to 500px for registration and payment has to match that of your Adobe ID.

PC Internet Activity to ADOBE Site

In the last couple weeks, we have noticed our PC's with ADOBE installed on them hamering a site called 66.119.205.8. We have done sniffer traces and it appears the traffic is Adobe Update traffic. My workstation showed up on the list with 568 requests in the last hour.
Is this normal activity for the adobe updater?

What is "logviewer.exe"? It has no help, no readme, no explanation, no way to configure it. WTF is this application? At any rate, I have a syslog server. The WRV54G is logging to it, just not all of the data it's supposed to be logging. I don't need another application. Apparently the latest firmware is what is causing my problem. our developers are getting more and more problems when they try to activate an adobe forms object in SAP.
When they click on the activate icon, SAP freezes – and after 3-4 minutes of waiting, SAP displays, that e.g. 105.570 bytes were transferred, but the document remains inactive.
So by now they need about 5 attempts before it finally gets activated…this is very time consuming and frustrating.
Does anybody know a solution to this problem?
Any ideas?

Subscription payment not activated by adobe?

I just paid for adobe PDF pack and used my current credit card. The one that adobe has on file has been cancelled because of a hacker using it in the recent past. I can't get adobe to activate my subscription with my new card number? What's going on? I can't even call an adobe.com customer service number to get my subscription activated. I hate adobe.com there is absolutely no customer support.

Activation of Adobe Form takes too long / XML problem?

Dear all,
I copied a standard form to customer name a year ago with life cycle designer version 7. The designer was updated to 8.
When making a change to the adobe form now, the activation takes more than 30 minutes in some cases. I copied the original form again and the activation takes less than 3 minutes.
When calling the XML Coding-tab within the designer it also takes very long and in some cases the system crashes ....
Has anyone an idea why this happens and if there is anything that i can do with changing attributes or other settings? I also tried to copy the copied form again. Same problem. Only when copying the standard form the activation is normal. I made too many changes so to start over again would take long. I would like to avoid this.

I could not solve this. Had to create the form again. Tried to copy most of the elements into it.
Now it works again and is activated within 1-2 minutes.
So no real solution...

Error during activation of adobe non-interactive form

Hello everyone,
I am trying to activate a non-interactive adobe form and am getting the below error:-
"Field p_lifnr has a conversion routine(see SAP note 796755)".
I have made sure that this field (which is corresponding to LFA1-lifnr) has context binding, I even tried using below code in its interface:-
GET PARAMETER ID 'LIF' FIELD p_lifnr.
and also tried the below:-
CALL FUNCTION 'CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_INPUT'
        EXPORTING
          input = p_lifnr
        IMPORTING
          output = p_lifnr.
just in case..
but all above in vain,can someone let me know what might be the problem....or where would I find this 'SAP note 796755' ?

have received notification from Adobe that this product has been already installed on 2 previous machines and that it will expire in 30 days. can i only use my activation code twice ? what do i need to do?

Well yes, they did take the computer with them.
No changes were made to the computer, either in Spain or before they came back. No OS changes, no hardware changes.
PSE worked in the UK, worked in Spain but would not work when they returned to the UK. They were in Spain for about 8 months, which makes me wonder whether the Spanish IP address block they were using triggered something in the Adobe Activation system. A bit like using your credit card abroad......
Adobe support have been absolutely *awful* over this matter: not only did they refuse to accept there may be an issue with their activation system, they then pre-emptively closed the support case. I have re-opened it, now they refuse to acknowledge e-mails concerning the case. And every time you do post they say they will get back to you "within 24 business hours" which simply doesn't happen. (case #204362758 in case you Adobe forum guys are mediating...)
So, if you're new to these forums, know this: there is a major issue with Adobe's activation system in PSE8 which will stop working randomly and disable the software you have legitimately purchased. Adobe will then not accept there is a fault. You have been warned, folks!
My client (the end user) ended up in an on-line support chat with someone called Bhavya who really could not have been less helpful if he tried....
I'll keep banging on the door, but there's the info...
