ME21N CREATE A PO BY COPY

Dear Experts,
We have updated all our suppliers with new term of payment CP71.
Now when our user create a PO in ME21N by copying a previous PO they get CP01 (old term of payment) copied in the PO header. This is source of error.
Is there any possibility (customising, user exit, badi,...) to get the term of payment from the supplier master data ?

This is SAP std behaviour , when you create a PO by copying another PO then you will get the payment terms from the reference PO...
If you maintain the payment terms in purchasing data of the vendor, then those payment terms will copied to PO, if that PO is not reference to other PO..
any how you can modify in the ME21N / ME22N trxn code...

How to create an identical local copy of a mail without attachments?

Hi,
I would like to save a copy of an IMAP-Message to my db without the attachments.
As I cannot modify the original message, I tried to create a new MimeMessage with the constructor MimeMessage(MimeMessage source) and then remove the attachments - this works fine so far, but using this constructor only the body seems to get copied without subject, recipients or from-address.
Can anybody give me a hint how to create an identical local copy of a Message-Object? I would rather like to do this without installing any local third party providers.

Sorry, found the problem - I did some things with the InputStream before I should not have - now the message gets saved without attachments and can be reopened.

I have created a Return by copying sales order. But tax and charges are not defaulted from original sales order. Please note unit selling price is 0 for this item. I am using 11.5.10.2 version.

At sales order form, you select Action > Copy
Change the order type to your "Return transaction type"
Go to Line Tab
Change the line type to Return type, enter return reason.
Save
This creates new RMA order.....this way this should copy the original tax amount.
For the Charges part, check in the modifier definition whether "Include on Returns" is checked in the Discount/Charges TAB.

We are using TINA backup solution and windows 2003 backup is failling with VSS error.
For testing purpose we initiate a system state backup (or any file backup) with the help of windows 2003 ntbackup.exe and found it is failing with below error.

After getting this error we check Shadow Copy provider and writer health and fond it is fine.

Next I check Shadow Copies details from volume properties (right click on C or other drive then select properties then click on Shadow Copies Tab) and found it is showing the same error code..
From this error it is clear that the issue is inside the registry hive and due to junk hive shadow copies services not able to working properly.
For me the server have two disk we check disk signature at MBR and found the disk signature was.
Signature disk 0 : 9351912b
Signature disk 0 : FDFBE035
But at registry we found lot of nonexistance signature. Which indicate lot of junk valu inside registry.
Now how can we resolve this issue?
It is very simple just delete the registry key “volume” (registry key “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\STORAGE\Volume”) and reboot the server it will “Volume” registry hive automatically.
Note:
When you remove registry key it is showing error unable to delete, then please right click on it select permission then take ownership and assign full permission to your login account.
Please be careful when you delete registry key because system can fully crashed if you delete or modify wrong registry key.
Your can take a backup of the registry key by exporting.

Hi,
When hiring the new employee via PA40, you can fill the "reference personnel number" field.
By this way, some of the infotypes are copied to the new employee.
However, there is no option of copying an employee entirely to a new employee number.

Hi John,
Go to Transaction code - VOFM.
In the menu select Data Transfer and select where you want maintain the copying requirements i.e. at the order level, delivery level etc.
Here, you can either create a new routine or change the existing routine according to your requirement.
Make sure you activate the routine (click on Edit - Activate from menu) once you are done with the routine.

Creating single role by copying profiles from other roles

HI ,
I am creating a single role from 4 roles. Ihave copied the authorizations of 4 roles and added into the new role. This is done by copying the profiles.
Problems Faced :-->
1. )In table AGR_TCODES i am not able to see the Tcodes for this new single role present in the new role, whereas if i goto object S_TCODE i am able to see tcodes and have that access.
2.) Some of the objects are not copied into this new role. Even from the roles whose all other objects are copied into this role.
Can anybody help me on this and also if someone knows what other problems can be faced by doing this.

Hi Rajesh,
If you have created a role by copying authorizations, then it is possible to get the t-codes provided your role contains the auth.obj S_TCODE which you might have copied manually from one or two among the 4 roles.
If S_TCODE exists in your role then you can find out the t-codes belonging to this role through SUIM->Transactions->Executable for Roles-> Insert your role name
or
Go to SE16-> Table AGR_1251->
In the field AGR_NAME, give the role name
In the field OBJECT, enter S_TCODE and then
Execute.
Q.My second question THere is one role created by some user I am checking it in AGR_Tcodes and SUIM ....I am finding that the no. of Tcodes in both cases donot match....Can anybody tell where i can look for this and what is the possible reason.
Possible reasons for this could be that some of the t-codes have been entered into the role manually and not through the menu in PFCG and as mentioned earlie that AGR_TCODES only shows the transactions that exists in the menu of the role.
It could also be that the manually entered t-codes contains wildcards specifying a range of values.
The best option would be to find it out from the AGR_1251 table.

Client is requestiong that they certain buyers should have the ability to create PO without PR (gone thro' PR release) and others must go thro normal process to create PO ( First PR- go thro release and only then) create po.

Buyer B/C/D- Me21n- require released PR

this is easy to achieve in SAP and is managed via the EFB prameter.
Check out the SPRO config for MM > Purchasing > Authorisation management
You will find a config step that has entries that control this and you choose the appropriate entry and allocate it to the user by giving them the EFB parameter with the appropriate code.
there are several flags including the flags that control exactly what you want to do. It is a very useful config and well worth experimenting with

[SOLVED] Use clonezilla, or create new partitions then copy?

I'm migrating my Arch for the first time. What would you recommend for a complete newb in this area, cloning the disk with some tool like clonezilla, or creating partitions manually and copying everything over?
I saw a few threads on how to make partitions and copy stuff over, but they all leave me with uncertainties. Would cloning the hard drive be an easier option?

For a someone doing this for the first time ever (like me), creating the new Linux partitions seems kind of tricky. The only time I've ever created partitions was from the Arch Install CD which made them automatically. I'd imagine that I would create each partition with the same size, except for the putting all the extra space of the new hard drive into the home partition.
Best for learning now. Making a partition is easy to do. Just be sure you carefully keep track of drive letters when doing it. Plus, the last time I looked, clonezilla wasn't updated for several years and didn't support ext4. This may have changed though.
Advice: draw out on paper your partition scheme, sort of like a map. ie
/ 15 GB /dev/sda1
/boot 200 MB /dev/sda2
/var 10 GB /dev/sda3
/home <<rest of drive>> /dev/sda4
Then use a util like fdisk or gptdisk to do the partitioning itself. If using GPT, make sure to have an empty 1 MB partition for the BIOS!

Wbadmin throws the following error when running on Win8.1 upgraded from Win8 and using the -allCritical flag.

Hi Yanivac,
For the issue, the target volume for a critical-volume backup can be a local drive, but it cannot be any of the volumes that are included in the backup. This is important.
Also, this error means that there is no enough space on the target volume.
I suggest you check the space on your target volume.

What happened?
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLEDI1" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
What can you do?
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
date.

Error analysis
An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below
. The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB', was
neither
caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure

How to correct the error
Use an ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert only if you are sure that none of
the records passed already exists in the database.

in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
use the following search criteria:
"SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC" CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DBC
"SAPLEDI1" or "LEDI1F09"
"F09_IDOC_INSERT_WITH_NUMBER"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and you wish to send
an error message to SAP, include the following documents:
1. A printout of the problem description (short dump)
To obtain this, select in the current display "System->List->
Save->Local File (unconverted)".
2. A suitable printout of the system log
To obtain this, call the system log through transaction SM21.
Limit the time interval to 10 minutes before and 5 minutes

Creating VO Dynamically and Copying Attributes

Hi anyone,
I've developed a SimpleSearch with LOVs that result in a multi-selection list.
Once the rows are selected, I want to carry them over and display on the next page.
I'm trying to keep it very simple, using OAFramework wizards an such but I'm struggling to get this accomplished, mostly due to lack of JAVA experience.
I was trying to follow the advice from "How to show selected rows only in tablebean" but I don't know how to create a VO dynamically and am new to JAVA (which is why I tried to keep it simple).
What I need help with desperately is:
1) The correct syntax/code for creating a simple VO dynamically - examples in the OA Dev guide are hard to follow.
2) Correct syntax/code for copying attributes using setAttribute().
3) Does this new VO appear under the BC4J Components directory? If not, how do I attach it to the table's columns?
4) Anything else I should include or watch out for?

I did create a VO declaratively before but am stuck on syntax again in the AMImpl.
I'm getting the error: oracle.jbo.TooManyObjectsException: JBO-25013: Too many objects match the primary key oracle.jbo.Key[10006 ].
