Me57. Create a PO from each PR.

Hi gurus!!
From transaction me57 system creates a PO grouping all PR´s assigned to the same provider. Is there any possibility to choose which PR´s we would like to take into account? Sometimes, we don´t want them all to be converted into PO. If this is not possible, could it be possible that system creates one PO for each PR?

Yes, you can select Purchase requisitions on the PO screen (it will appear once click Process).
See following screen, I have processed one PR and another can be saved for the different PO on the same screen.
Note: If it is fixed vendor and auto PO is set up, you can use ME59 and select "Per Requisition" check box.

Is it possible to select multiple clips and create a sequence from each individually? If you select multiple clips and select "New Sequence from Clip" it puts all of the clips into one sequence. Is there an easy way to quickly perform this on multiple selected clips separately?

So now I *have* used Butler with PPro, and it works very well, here's an idea of how to do it:
Import folder of clips
Ensure first clip selected in bin and sorted by Media Type
Most of these commands need shortcuts assigning - mine listed below
Macro:
To create seq from selected clip:
‘New seq from clip’ (Shift+CMD+N)
To duplicate this seq:
‘Reveal Sequence in project’ (Shift+F) - not strictly necessary as it will already be selected
‘Window | Project’ (CMD+9)
‘Edit | Duplicate’ (Shift+CMD+/)
To rename the duplicate
‘Enter’
Various keystrokes to rename as required
‘Enter’ - to make name stick
‘Shift+Enter’ - to reselect that sequence
‘Esc’ - to get out of editing name
To change resolution of duplicate:
‘Sequence Settings’ (CMD+5)
‘Tab’ x 3 (to get to H Frame Size)
‘xxxx’ (to enter frame width)
‘Tab’ x 1 (to get to V Frame Size)
‘yyyy’ (to enter frame height
‘Enter’ x 2 as prompt will say previews will have to be deleted
To then find next clip ready for macro to run again:
‘Open in Timeline’ (Shift+CMD+O)
‘Match Frame’ (Shift+Spacebar)
‘Reveal in Project’ (Shift+CMD+F)
‘Window | Project’ (CMD+9)
‘Down Arrow’ - to select next clip
I tried it with Butler (manytricks.com - free trial, $20 to buy) and it worked a treat, takes about 3 secs per clip

You could start making multiple macros - that would enable you to do grade / resize in middle of duplication - and then export etc, but I figure you can figure that out ;-)

a different OU with mail, targetAddress, proxyAddresses/SMTP on the contacts being [email protected] and the options 'automatically update email addresses based on recipient policy' disabled and hidden from GAL for all. At a later time will require
a method to bulk forward all of the user objects to their corresponding [email protected] contact object and a way to to bulk disable the forwarding at a later time.
ldifde created the contacts via export/import but Exchange seems to like rewriting the mail & proxyaddresses or replacing domain2.com with one of the internal recipient policy domains requiring manual change in AD.

I'm then using ADModify.net to bulk modify hide from address lists attribute and correct the mail, targetaddress, proxyaddress attributes, possibly forwarding as well. The process is clunky compared to something like powershell on Exchange 2010.
Am I going about this the wrong way?

For some reason, When I add my 'My Music' folder to Itunes on my new computer, as Itunes is adding music, It's creating hundreds of playlists from each of my artist/albums...I end up with a ton of playlists (200 gigs worth) How do i stop this?

Essentially, Itunes creates a playlist for each album in my 'my music' folder, resulting in thousands of playlists. Why is this happening all of the sudden? How do I stop this?

I do not mean the entire ITunes folder but, rather, the contents of the ITunes folder prior to September 29th. (90% of the media is missing, along with all playlists) The media that remains says it was added on 9/29 although I know most of it was added many months or even years earlier. There are no playlists listed at all, before or after 9/29. (I know for certain that I added non-iTunes purchased songs on 10/6 although I had not created playlists for them)
I have my iTunes folder backed up on both an external drive as well as Time Machine.
I run iTunes off of an ITunes folder on my computer rather than from the external, if that's what you mean about how I have it set up.
Is it OK to drag the entire iTunes folder from the external drive onto my laptop's drive and see if that fixes it?

Using ME57 to create an RFQ from multiple lines on multiple PRs

When using ME57 to create RFQs how can I select multiple line items from multiple purchase requisitions to turn into a single RFQ. If I select multiple lines and then use 'RFQ with Vendor', it only selects one line item. After further research it appears that you can only create only line at a time (very time consuming).
If you use ME41 and create with reference to PR then you can not sort or filter columns to allow for easy consolidation.
Another forum recommended the following when using ME57 which works but it again adds extra steps to the process.
     The whole process is as follows -
     1) When you are in the 'Assign and Process Purchase Requisition' screen, select related PR and then click on 'Without Vendor' icon to flag all PRs for RFQ processing.
     2) Select these PRs again and click further on 'Assignment Overview' icon (Shift and F5). The next screen will appear - Assign and Process requisitions - Overview of Assignments screen.
     3) Select the 'PReq' column and then click further on 'Process Assignment' icon (F2). The next screen will appear where you have to maintain the 'quotation deadline' information.
     4) Then click on 'Continue' icon (enter).

So is there any way to either 1) enable sorting of data in ME41 or 2) use ME57 to create one RFQ from multiple line items of multiple purchase requisitions when selecting 'RFQ with Vendor'.

Creating one file per each 50 Mb of data received from PI

Hi Experts,
I have a scenario JMS to FIle.I have to create separate files for each maximum of 50MB received by SAP PI.
For example if PI receive 160 MB data then i have to create 4 files i.e 1st file with 50 MB file data ,2nd file with 50 MB file data ,3rd file with 50 MB file data and 4th file with 10 MB file data. How to acheive this any suggestion.

Hi Deepak,
Following logic can be applied if and only if the data that you are receiving from JMS is binary one(not a structured). In that case, you can break your large binary data file into small small packets of any size.
In SAP PI 7.30/7.31 this fuctionality is available in the File sender and receiver channel. You can directly use it if you are working on the PI 7.30/7.31.
If you are not using 7.30/7.31 then you need to write a adapter module which does same functionality. Logic is simple:
Step 1: Get the XI message payload and convert it into binaryStream object.
Step2: find the length of binaryStream and then calculate the no.of packets that you want to create by dividing binaryStream size with packet's size that you want. eg. if main payload size is 160 MB and packet's size is 50 MB and no.of packets = 160/50 =3.2 round off to 3.
Step 3: Divide the large file size 4 times with given packet size and put remaining data into last packet.
Step5: change all the small binaryStream packet into Files and store them into target directory.

Here's what should work:
To move an iPhoto Library to a new machine:
Link the two Macs together: there are several ways to do this: Wireless Network,Firewire Target Disk Mode, Ethernet, or even just copy the Library to an external HD and then on to the new machine...
But however you do choose to link the two machines...
Simply copy the iPhoto Library from the Pictures Folder on the old Machine to the Pictures Folder on the new Machine.
Then launch iPhoto. That's it.
This moves photos, events, albums, books, keywords, slideshows and everything else.

Select the Songs view. Use the Search window to display the tracks from the album. Turn on the Kind column and sort on it. Give each version of the album a distinct title. E.g. Album [AAC] and Album [MP3].

Create new session for each window opening

From a jsp page i open a page called student.jsp by clicking on students admision no.Therefore lots of pages can be opend in new windows with relevent student details.
but when i click on the link i called a servlet, get relevent details and redirect to student.jsp. The problem is ,all opened windows have same session id and there are session conflicts.
How can i create new sessions for each page thru the servlet or is there any other alternatives

I actually was working on a problem that was similar to this, and the problem is with how each web-browser works with sessions...
Each browser window (Except in one case with IE) will use the same session in each window.
However, you might be able to use URL-Rewritting to manage your sessions and get around using cookies for for session tracking. I personally haven't tried this, but I'm betting that it will work.

How to create diferents deliveries for each schedule line

Dear gurus,
I have sales orders with many schedule lines in order to deliver in diferents dates. We need to create all the deliveries together but each schedule line needs to be in a diferent delivery with the corresponding delivery date.
I analiced the customizing about pool for delivery creation (VL10) but all I can change is for display and can not change the way the delivery is created. If we select two schedule line with diferent dates, the proccess create only one delivery with the total quantity and the first date of delivery.
Anybody knows some way to make the proccess create individual deliveries from diferents schedule lines?

I hope you are using VL10E. Did you try working with Delivery creation date (range) and Delivery Date calculation rule? For example if you go for a value of 2 for the CalcRuleDefltDlvCrDt ('Rule for determining default value for deliv. creation date), then system will consider only those sched lines which are to be delivered today and tomorrow.
You also have the possibility of setting up your own routine for CalcRuleDefltDlvCrDt.
Thirdly SAP has suggested a solution for Scheduling agreements ( valid for releases upto 4.7). In this SAP has suggested solution 4 for ensuring all schedule lines are not delivered together. You can customize the code to include Sales orders ( in stead of Sched Agreements) in your case. Though it is for release 4.7, I think you can use the smae concept in ECC also.

How do I create auto run from one slideshow to another in idvd?

Hi! It is my 1st time using iDVD. I've created 6 buttons with each button for 1 set of slideshow. Every time 1 slideshow finishes, it goes back to the main menu and I have to select the next button to play the next set of slideshow. How can I set it to have all the slideshows automatically played sequentially? Other words, can I have a PLAY ALL button on top of all the 6 buttons?

You'll need to understand that pictures and video are not the same thing and if you convert on to the other you will loose quality. What you are doing is taking a still image that consists of millions of pixels and putting it into a 720x480 frame that consists of two interlaced fields.
If you are not happy with the quality you can try software like Photo to Movie or Fotomagico. Both seem to do a good job creating video from stills.

How to create a Group from an existing email -

I just want to create a Group from an existing email received. Don't want to add people individually to Address Book, then drag them to the Group. Would prefer to copy/paste the addresses into the Group. I'm part of a team at work wth 25 people! Do I really have to add their addresses individually? Seems ridiculous. Don't even need their names - just the emails, so when I type in "United," for example, I get all the folks in that Group which is named "United."

There was a "magical" set of Applescripts that would have done that, but it no longer works.
There is no way in the OS to do that besides making the Applescript yourself using the current Script Editor.
Another way to do what you want is to select all of the addresses (select one, then cmd-A). Then, drag the selection to somewhere in the Finder. That will create a text clipping. You can then drag that text clipping into the address field in Mail.
The text clipping will be named with the first few email addresses. You can rename it in the Finder.
Each one can be your own "distribution" list.

I have been working on creating a dynamic form, creating the
form items from an xml file. I am getting very close to conquering
this task. I will share it when it's complete.
However, I am stuck at the moment trying to create an object
from a string. For example, if the xml item is an HBox I want to
create an HBox. Like this: parentObject = new arrayOfFormItems[
index ]..type ()
This isn't working. First, is this possible using some syntax
I am unaware of in Flex? I don't want to use a large if or case
statement if possible.

I read that you have no choice but to instantiate one of each
type to force the linker to link the code for that class into the
.swf. Unless you know another way to force it.
