ME9F - Change ALV Output to List output
Hi all,
Im using transaction ME9F which currently displays the output in ALV mode. How to change it to list mode ?
I have checked the user parameters tab in Su3 but nothing seems to be there or is there any other parameter id that i should set in Su3 ?
Also i cannot find any settings in the ME9F Menu to disable this.
My requirement is i have to place a check in SECATT regarding this.
Any ideas ?
keshav
Hi,
I am unable to test ME9F right now but I have looked at RM06ENDR_ALV program and the user parameter is set on the code below:

How can we modify alv output list
Hi

Please tell me any body How can we modify alv output list.

check the program,
You can find the code in this program 'BCALV_FIELDCAT_TEST'
*& Report BCALV_FIELDCAT_TEST *
This report allows to modify the fieldcatalog of a corresponding
output table and to view the effects of your changes directly.
Note that for some changes you need to newly display the whole
ALV Grid Control, e.g., DDIC-Fields are read only the first time
you call SET_READY_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY.
Note also that not all scenarios can be tested since the output
table does not comprise all fields to test available features
of the fieldcatalog. Copy this program and extend the output
table accordingly if you want to test such a special feature.
(The field CARRNAME in 'gt_sflight' was added to test field REF_FIELD
and TXT_FIELD of the fieldcatalog - see what happens if you
calculate subtotals by carrier-id).

Can we change font size in ALV output?
Hi,
I would like to know if can change the font size of the output in ALV reports.
We did suggest the client to download into excel & change it but they would like to see the fontsize as 10 in ALV output itself. This allows them to fit more columns in a screen.
I appreciate your response.
Thanks,
RituHi Ritu,
In structure of type LVC_S_LAYO, there is a field called SMALLTITLE..
If this field is set, the title size in the grid control is set to the font size of the column header.
This s the only way i know you can have a control on the font size..
FORM prepare_layout CHANGING ps_layout TYPE lvc_s_layo.
ps_layout-zebra = 'X' .
ps_layout-grid_title = 'Flights' .
ps_layout-smalltitle = 'X' .
ENDFORM. " prepare_layout
hope this helps you..

Add check box in alv output list in web dynpro
Dear Friends,
I want to Add check box in begining of each row of alv output list for WEB DYNPRO Program.
ISHALalsha - you need an attribute (I will named check_box) in your context node to be in the 1st position of your ALV context node
Data: lv_check_box type ref to cl_salv_wd_uie_checkbox,
lr_table_settigns type ref to if_salv_wd_table_settings,
l_value type ref to cl_salv_wd_config_table,
lt_columns type salv_wd_t_column_ref,
ls_column type salv_wd_s_column_ref,
l_col_name type string.
if l_value is not initial.
lr_table_settings ?= l_value.
lt_columns = l_value->if_salv_wd_column_settings~get_columns( ).
Loop AT lt_columns into ls_column.
l_col_name = ls_column-r_column->get_id( ).
IF l_col_name = 'check_box' *your attribute name*
CREATE OBJECT lv_check_box
EXPORTING
checked_fieldname = l_col_name.
ls_column-r-column->set_cell_editor( value = lv_check_box ).
endif.
endloop
Hope this help

How to change the Grid ALV output resolution according to screen
Hi All,
I have a requirement in which I have to adjust the Grid ALV Output Screen resolution according to user screen. I mean if the user has any type of screen (17'' , 15'', 12.1'' ), the output should be completely fit to his screen.
Helpful solution will definitely be rewared.
Amit VarlaniHi!
I doesn't depends on the screen size only the desktop resolution.
If the desktop resolution is set to 1024*768 on every computer, then it will be the same all the time.
You can set the desktop resolution in your windows (right click on desktop - properties - settings).

Create new spool list for new ALV output
Hi,
I created a report that calls an several ALV Grids, when it is processed in background.
Unfortunately, only the last ALV is shown in the spool.
Could you tell me, how to store every ALV output in a new spool?
Best regards,
Fabianhi kegel..
check this piece of code ....
call function 'GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS'
exporting
destination = loc_dest
copies = l_copies
list_name = l_listname
list_text = l_listtext
immediately = ' '
release = 'X'
new_list_id = 'X'
expiration = l_days
line_size = 200
line_count = 65
layout = 'X_65_200'
sap_cover_page = 'X'
receiver = 'SAP*'
department = ''
no_dialog = 'X'
importing
out_parameters = l_params
valid = l_valid.
IF l_VALID <> SPACE.
NEW-PAGE PRINT ON PARAMETERS l_PARAMS NO DIALOG.
NEW-PAGE PRINT OFF.
NEW-PAGE PRINT ON PARAMETERS l_PARAMS NO DIALOG.
PERFORM output_top.
PERFORM output_data.
PERFORM output_end.
NEW-PAGE PRINT OFF.
NEW PAGE PRINT ON/OFF gives spool request...
u can call it again as above to print ur contents in another spool...
For my reqmt i had to internal table to be displayed in diff spools, so i used this code...

Strange behaviour in alv output display for a date column!
hi friends,
my alv output list display contains a column for budat (posting date), if this field has no value, then it displays a blank cell (space) in the output in my user login...but when the same report is run in another user login, even though the value of the column is null, it displays 00000000 (8 zeroes) rather than displaying a blank cell...i have set the field catalog property NO_ZERO = 'X'; is this property has anything to do with authorization to achieve its funcionality? am not sure...this is strange, as it is the same report, same field catalog that is being used..need some inputs on this
thanks in advance
SathishThere are 2 solutions for an adhoc solution you can change the field to a char10 field, this will solve your immediate problem of the 0 display. For a permanent solution you can check the user profile setting for the date for you as well as the concerned user.
Hope That Helps

I appreciate if anyone can let me know how to get the ALV output to an EXCEL file.I have done it thru list->export. Is there any other way?
Hi Deepti,
1) Once you have alv report displayed in the screen.
2) Click button 'View' ( next to print button) on application toolbar
3) Select Excel in Place
4) This will download the same format as of Report
I hope your ALV have all the Standard functions in Toolbar. If not copy the status from and get the function as mentioned above.
Program - SAPLSALV
Status - STANDARD
OR For downloading into Excel sheet use EXPORT->LOCAL FILE->Spread sheet
If you want to do programatically then:
Refer the link:
http://www.sap-img.com/abap/download-to-excel-with-format-border-color-cell-etc.htm
Please use the following FM
CALL FUNCTION 'SAP_CONVERT_TO_XLS_FORMAT'
EXPORTING
I_FIELD_SEPERATOR =
I_LINE_HEADER =
i_filename =
I_APPL_KEEP = ' '
tables
i_tab_sap_data =
CHANGING
I_TAB_CONVERTED_DATA =

CONVERSION_FAILED = 1
OTHERS = 2
IF sy-subrc <> 0.
MESSAGE ID SY-MSGID TYPE SY-MSGTY NUMBER SY-MSGNO
WITH SY-MSGV1 SY-MSGV2 SY-MSGV3 SY-MSGV4.
ENDIF.
Another FM
MS_EXCEL_OLE_STANDARD_DAT
A simple option:
a) form download_file .
call function 'WS_EXCEL'
importing
filename = excel_name
tables
data = itab.

Procedure/sample code to download alv output in HTM format & mail to user.
Hello Experts,
I've a requirement to run the Alv report at background. But i need to download the alv output in HTM fomat because it has subtotal values & look wise downloaded HTM format will be same as that of ALV output. Then send the attachment through mail to users. I'm not intersted in downloading internal table dierctly to HTM format.
Will the code for alv display & downloading in HTM format & forwarding via email is all done in one single program or in 2 differnt programs . pls guide me on this.
I'm using FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY to display output with subtotals.
Pls anyone there suggest me the steps to download ALV output in HTM format & the forward the same to user ID through Lotus notes.
Regards
Devika.SHi,
This can be achieved without coding .
Fore ground Scenario:
1. Downloading as HTM . In foreground you can do this by using Export---> Local file
option in ALV grid.
Background Scenario:
2. In background while sending mail , You have to achieve the same through customisation settings as wexplained below.
In SM36 -- > Spool List Recipient, give the reciepient id and click on copy. Now when the Background job will be finished,
the reciepient mentioned above will recieve the mail , but in ALI format.
To convert the same to HTM format, you need to do customisation changes in SCOT
goto SCOT>Expant the node INT>Double click on Email-->Beside Internet we have SET tab , click on that -->
select the radio button " all formats except the following ">In the near by box type ALI>then click on the tick Mark.
Then go to SCOT>Settings>Conversion Rules-->there
create a new row with, Format->ALI , To Format->HTM , Ranking 1, FM -> SX_OBJECT_CONVERT_ALI_HTM.
Now when the mail will be sent, it will not go in ALI, but in HTM format.
Hope this helps you out.

Files arranged by date added, but changing file name changes date added
I've got my Downloads folder set to view (in the Finder) by "date added", a very useful feature. However, if I change a file name, the "date added" changes to that new time, and "date modified" stays the same as it was. This doesn't make sense to me.
