Meaning of revocable, irrevocable (Unconfirmed) and Irrevocable (confirmed)

Dear Gurus
Please can anybody tell me what is the meaning of Revocable, irrevocable( confirmed) and irrevocable (Unconfirmed) I am an SD person but need to know the interface of this in the Credit management.

Confirmed Irrevocable Letter of Credit
An irrevocable letter of credit (L/C) opened by an issuing bank whose authenticity has been confirmed by the advising bank and where the advising bank has added its confirmation to the credit is known as confirmed irrevocable letter of credit. The words "we confirm the credit and hereby undertake ..." or "we add our confirmation to this credit and hereby undertake ..." normally are included in the L/C.
An exporter whose method of payment is a confirmed irrevocable L/C is assured of payment even if the importer or the issuing bank defaults. The confirmed irrevocable L/C is particularly important from buyers in a country which is economically or politically unstable.
In a confirmed letter of credit, the exporter or the importer pays an extra charge called the confirmation fee, which may vary from bank to bank within a country. The fee usually is added to the exporter's account. The exporter may indicate in the sales contract that the confirmation fee and other charges outside the seller's country are on the buyer's account.
Unconfirmed Irrevocable Letter of Credit
An irrevocable letter of credit (L/C) opened by an issuing bank in which the advising bank does not add its confirmation to the credit is known as an unconfirmed irrevocable letter of credit. The promise to pay comes from the issuing bank only, unlike in a confirmed irrevocable L/C where both the issuing bank and the advising bank promise to pay the beneficiary.

I am looking for Standard BCT that can give me True Open Order "quantities" and "Amounts". The extractor 2LIS_11_V_SCL seems to give open order qty for "Confirmed" Schedules only. I am looking to get the "Net Open Orders" based on "Planned Goods Issue Date".
Any ideas on how to achieve this?

Hi Lily,
But these extractors comprises of all orders thus, it means open orders,confirmed and not confirmed, delivered and not delivered, and orders that are already invoiced.
In my case, we need to have an open orders report meaning confirmed and not confirmed and where invoiced orders, delivered, and etc should not be included at all.
Any idea?

Pricing date for Service Order and Service Confirmation

Hi,
I cretated a Service Confirmation as followup for Service Order.
Client is asking "Pricing Date" should be same Same in Service Order and Service Confirmation. But, I am not seeing any such field in the screen.
I need to check T&C field and Zone field. But, I am not seeing these fields also.
Can you please let me know, where can I find this fields. (In which assignment block).

Hi,
I think by PRICING DATE they mean BILLING DATE.
In date profile of SERVICE ORDER and SERVICE CONFIRMATION you assign the BILLING DATE date type (i think it is there in the standard itself- however just ensure it).
Or customize a PRINCING DATE date type in the DATE PROFILE of SERVICE ORDER and CONFIRMATION and copy the date set in SERVICE ORDER to SERVICE CONFIRMATION.
This is one strategy you can use.

Inventory load using 561 movt type and auto confirm TO in MB1C using 561 movt type

Hello All,
I am doing the inventory load using 561 movt type in MB1C. Then the material is in 998 storage type and bin "AUFNAHME". my requirement is that i want to confirm the TO, when i do the MB1C itself for the 561 movt type. Is there a way in the SAP, where i can trigger the TO confirmation in the background automatically, when i use 561 movt type in MB1C.
Right now my thought processing is that as below,
i create the inventory load using 561 movt type in MB1C and use the LT10 and move the stock to a different bin and confirm the TO.
In the above step, i am using LT10 as a extra step for confirming the TO, which i am trying to decreasing my configuring in such as way for the movt type 561, so that it will automatically confirm the TO in the background, while doing the MB1C.
My 2nd question is, when i have 5000 different materials, which are inventory loaded using 561 movt type and MB1C. I am trying to auto confirm the TO in the background, when doing the MB1C for 561 movt type itself.Secondly, if it doesn't work, then i can goto LL01 and pick the unconfirmed TOs and mass confirm the TO's.
On the whole, my questions are is there any std config in SAP to auto confirm the TO for movt type 561 in MB1C. If it is not possible, then i need the best way to mass confirm the TO's in SAP.

Let me explain the process step by step
Assumption/mandatory criteria- The process is applicable only in case you do not have storage unit management active This process is warehouse transfer w/o WM transaction. This method is based on principle of MB1A- 711/712 movement type.
(1) Use OMJJ and create new movement type by coping 561 for ex- "Z61". In field selection (flield selection from 201) double click on WM and make the entry "WM storage bin and storage type as required entry from suppress.
(2) Now use MB1C with above customised movement type. At the end of this transaction,system will take you to the screen to make an entry in storage type and storage bin. Post the entry.
That's it. Your stock would be in warehouse as well as IM stock would be in sync. There is no TR/TO. You can create LSMW to upload the data by this method. If you have SUT defined then you can follow the same process as above. But after that do not forget to update LQUA-LETYP field with respective SUT. However, you can not use this method in case you have SU management active.
My view with this upload process- Please use other data uploading method which are not at all time consuming. In more than 90% of most of the business scenarios, storage unit type is used. Hence you will have to perform additional activity of updating LQUA-LETYP-storage unit type field. If this is the case, then why cant you use other uploading method?.

The following details are available in the table AFVV,
Standard value, operation qty & Base qty.
With this values create a formula Standard value * operation qty/ Base qty , this will equal to the planned hours for that particular activity type. Similarlt planned hours for other activities can be calculated.
The actual/confirmed hours are available in the table AFRU.

You will need to install an App like Print Central on the iPad to try to print to the printer. It will allow you to print to most printers. Check with their support folks if you need more info.

You can restore your iPod to "New" which will erase every thing and install fresh iOS software or you can restore to a particular backup that you have previously created. In this case, your iPod Apps & data will appear as per the backup. Note that some content is not in a backup and will need to be synced back to the iPad from the iTunes music library or from, for example, the iPhoto photo library.

You can query the tables BBP_PDHGP and BBP_PDIGP to get teh refernce doc no for PO and then use FM BBP_PD_CONF_GETDETAIL to get the details fo a particular confirmation.ALso you can search confirmations by "Reference Document", use BBP_PD_CONF_GETLIST, with parameter I_REF_DOC_NO, and then use BBP_PD_CONF_GETDETAIL for the found confirmations.

If one customer wants these things sent to three different places how and where do I look to configure this. i.e. They want their invoice to arrive in an office in Indiana, and the confirmation in Michigan.

UCM Administration Applets request the user and password confirmation

I want to ask if someone has experienced in the UCM Administration Applets, that request the user and password confirmation for each time the applets are executed,
Is there any configuration in the UCM that activates this behavior?
I’m trying to reproduce this behavior in the development environment but with not much success

Is there any configuration in the UCM that activates this behaviorNo. It's more likely that you are accessing the applets via a URL that does not match the one you originally used to log in to the Content Server.
For example, you logged into "http://myserver/cs" or "http://<ip address>/cs". However, your HttpServerAddress variable is defined in Content Server as "http://myserver.mydomain.com". (Any absolute links to the applets use the variable to build the URL.) The browser "thinks" this is a new domain, and doesn't forward credentials to the different address. So the applet must prompt again for credentials. (Are you using a load balancer by chance? Does your HttpServerAddress variable in Content Server match the DNS entry being used for the load balancer?)
I've also seen some versions of the Sun client JRE do this by design as a security "feature". If you using IE, make sure your server address is in the "trusted" or "intranet" security zone.

Work center design and operation confirmation

Hi All,
In my scenario im grouping the similar m/c to a work center
say for ex. 4 lathes m/c into a single work center as LatheALL and also the indiv cap as 4
my customer wants the traceability in which m/c the job is done
So i had designed in such a way that
1 LatheALL -4 cap(this will be additional wc)
2. lathe1 - 1cap
3.lathe2 - 1cap
4.lathe3-1cap
5.lathe4-1cap
in the routing only latheALL will be given., this will help customer in planning
when going for operation confirmation i will give confirmation for that operation and will confirm as lathe1or lathe2 or etc.. this will help prodn dept for traceability in which m/c the work is done
this is method i have informed to client .,
pls advice is this approach is correct ?
also suggest by giving confirmation for another work center will the capacity for the original work center will be reduced

yes, during confirmation time to enter the orginal actual work center, this suitable for your client requirement, do the settings for OPK0 - change the confirmations parameters (0410 or 0420)
