It's an innocuous error you can ignore. It was introduced with previous updates for ARD and/or Java before Lion. These are messages, not errors. They will cause no harm, and they will be repeated each time you repair permissions.

Dear all,
I have an INCLUDE, say the name is "Z_INCLUDE". I have included it in a program, say the program name is "Z_REPORT". When I perform syntax check in ABAP Editor, the following warning message appears for every single subroutine in Z_INCLUDE.

There should only be definitions in the TOP include (or nested includes within it). This means that any sort of implementations (CLASS... IMPLEMENTATION, FORM..., FUNCTION) is not meaningful.

Warning messages W are processed according to the context in which they occur.
1)Messages Without Screens:-
In PBO context program continues processing after the MESSAGE statement otherwise, program terminates and control returns to point from which the program was called.
2)Messages on Screens:-
    Warning messages are not possible in POH or POV processing.
PAI processing is terminated, and control returns to the current screen. All of the screen fields for which there is a FIELD or CHAIN statement are ready for input. The user must enter a new value. The system then restarts PAI processing for the screen using the new values.
3)Messages on Selection Screens:-
    Selection screen processing terminates, and the    selection screen is redisplayed.
4)Messages in Function Modules and Methods:-
   Warning messages are ignored in this case.

Found this at the bottom of my disk repair list. It said 'Warning'.. is it something to be concerned about? Does it matter if it can't be repaired?

As long as the report ends up with 'Permissions repair complete' then, as far as permissions go, you are fine. You can ignore the various statements in the report:

Using 'should be -rw-r--r-- , they are lrw-r--r--' as an example, you will see the that the permissions are not changed, but the | indicates a different location. This is because an update to Leopard changed the location of a number of system components.

Hi,
Anyone knows what does the text that appears in the screen when you open applications, like the mail client for the first time?
The text is the following (among other text):
"Nokia identifies your phone number, IMEI and network in order to provide you with a rich experience"
What the h... means this?
In my first contact with the phone with "Nokia PC Suite" I found that it sends to Nokia servers the IMEI and other phone data (who knows what for). Does it menas that when you use the default mail cilent, it sends data to Nokia? What it does for? Because I wouldn't like at all that the application sends any data, anywhere, if I decide to use the application.
I don't know why there is no more information in any place, even support page, even the ... sad manual (that doesn't explain anything about a lot of options)...

I'm in Spain, but, as I said, it is a second hand device (actually I'm the third hand). Maybe the first owner bought somewhere in Europe, maybe to Amazon.de (very popular place to buy from Spain as it is cheaper than Amazon.es, or before even existed Amazon.es that arrived to Spain only a year back or so; or maybe it was in holidays around Europe; at least, I don't know the exact origin of the device).
Indeed one thing different is that the paper manuals comming in the box aren't in spanish, they are in german, french and italian (all surrounding Switzerland, indeed).
About the last phrase, I think I won't hassle myself in pay for a change of the product code and be able to update. That, by the way, the nearest Nokia Care is quite far from my place and if I choose doing by any kind of RMA, the ultra-expensive delivery costs in Spain, don't make me feel like doing either.

I'll end testing for myself if the mail application does "what it shouldn't do", and I'll decide if use it or not. Probably not, but I'll just test to see with my eyes

Hi Derek,
Not all of the LabVIEW C Generator settings are compatible with one another. In this case, you must set Generate Serial Only (aka "Disable Parallel Execution") if you want to generate code that uses stack variables.

Lookout Warning - logged data out of time sequence

Hello,
what mean a warning :You have logged data out of time sequence. Repeated instances of logging "backwards" in time can result in overly large database files, and even data corruption.
When we use Lookout 6.1 and the Logger object to write data to citadel DB.

For example, last time you logged value 10 at 10:00:00, then now you log a new value at 9:58:00, you will get the warning.
If the time datamember of Logger is not set, it will use the system time when it logs. The warning will happen when your system time is set back.
This is just a warning. The data will still be logged.

If you use -Xlint, it will tell you the line number.
Basically, though, you are compiling in j2se 1.5.0, but not specifying the type for the Vector. That is, you are using it in it's pre 1.5.0, raw mode, and it cannot do any compile time type checking for you.
Say you were using your vector to store Integers. You would declare it as Vector<Integer> myIntegerVector = new Vector<Integer>();and the warning would go away. Now the compiler can do compile time type checking, and let you know when you are using that vector with a type other than Integer, which might not be safe.

Certificate can not be verified by JWS

Hello,
we developed a java web start application and bought an SSL certificate to secure the communication between the application and the servlet (_no_ self-signed certificate).
Our intended java version is 1.5. The application jar is not signed.
When we try to start the java web start application we receive an warning dialog that the certificate is not trusted.
To shed some light on it we tried to download the application manually and start it as a normal java application.
Java 1.4.2_01 failed with error message
"javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: No trusted certificate found"
Details on java version:
java version "1.4.2_01" / Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_01-b06) / Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_01-b06, mixed mode)
Java 1.5.0_13 runs ok.
Details on java version:
java version "1.5.0_13" / Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_13-b05) / Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_13-b05, mixed mode, sharing)
This indicates that the java runtine knows about the certificate when the application is run as a standard java application.
Our problem is that we want to distribute the application as a java web start application, which, like I mentioned earlier, shows a warning dialog when starting up. The interesting thing is that this warning is shown while "bootstrapping" the application, that means the warning dialog is shown before the application jar has been downloaded to the client (just the jnlp file has been downloaded by the browser (which, by the way, has no problems at all with the certificate)).
To sum everything up: running 1.5.0_13 as java application runs ok, running 1.5.0_13 as java web start application shows warning dialog while bootstrapping.
Does JWS use a different set of certificates than the "normal" runtime ?
The 1.5.0_13 installation is unchanged (no deployment properties, no manually added certificates, etc.)

This sometimes depends on the exact details* of the JNLP file(s) involved, and details* of the Jar's. Perhaps if you could link to the JNLP files (or post the content, with codebase changed if needed), I cold look further into it.
* For example, the fact you mention some jar's are signed whereas others are not, indicates that some must be in separate JNLP files (it cannot work otherwise).

Nokia 5800 deleting from message boxes

I have just moved to a 5800 from previous nokia phones I have had and cannot find a way to delete message box contents in bulk. There used to be a "mark all" in options but it does not appear to be there?
Folders I would wish to empty are Text - inbox, sent, drafts and email
Am I missing something or do you now have to do it one at a time???
