Measure - this week, this month, this quarter

Gurus,
someone please tell me how I can show this in one report:
I have a measure, (Sales) which I need to show how much Sales happened this week, this month, this quarter..as columns in one report.
Thanks for any tips.

Assuming CURRENT_QUARTER, CURRENT_MONTH, CURRENT_WEEK are Dynamic Repository Variables
3 Times you need to use the Sales
For Quarter
Click on FX on Sales column in criteria-> Click on Filter button->
Insert Filter wizard pops up
Click on Quarter column from Subject Area navigation-> Creat/Edit Filter wizard pops up
Click on Add button->Variable->Repository
Enter CURRENT_QUARTER
click on OK, click on OK,
Check the 'Custom Headings' name it as 'This Quarter'
click on OK :)
Do the same for Month (using CURRENT_MONTH), and Week (Using CURRENT_WEEK)
Once you do this the column FX should have like
FILTER("Fact"."# Sales" USING (Time.Quarter = VALUEOF("CURRENT_QUARTER")))

I tried using Time Machine to restore iCal, tried doing disk repairs... nothing changes the outcome. No windows will open in the application.

Hi Justice,
Dateadd() function and lastfullmonth() date in 1st qtr , 2nd qtr, etc will answer most of date rage formulas.
example to get last week data then u can use {date} in lastfullweek()
or you can arrive last week / month / qtr / year date using dateadd()

Here i don't have Administration access, I have only access to Answers, so how to achieve this in Answers.

Here Month over Month means:
suppose 2010 it is 2010Nov-2009Nov / 2009Nov
suppose 2011 it is 2011Jan-2010Jan / 2010Jan
Similar way quarter calculation..
Example:
Suppose 2010 Year and Nov means 2010Nov-2009Nov / 2009Nov. Display will be calculated measure value => How to write formula in measure column.

Weeks and Months roll-up in Time dimension

We need to change our Time dimension roll-up ('Total Year' 'Quarter' 'Month') as some users want to see the week level as well. What is the best way to do that? I still want to use the DTS and both need to be Time dimension. Thanks for your reply.

Assuming you have data down to the daily level, another option would be to create an alternate hierarchy in your time dimension. You would use your level zero members (individual days) that are currently rolling up into months and share them. Your Time dimension you would then have two children; "By Months" and "By Weeks".Under months you would have Jan, Feb, Mar, etc. Under Weeks you would have Week 1, Week 2, ... Week 52. The level zero members are the same for both. What I like about this method is it does not add any overhead since you are using shared members, and you don't run into a situation where your total "by months" varies from your total "by weeks". Since your base level data is the same you can have confidence that your data will tie out. Of course the end user needs to decide when they run their report wether they want to run by months or by weeks. My users were more than happy to do this when I explained there was no practical way to have months and weeks in the same hierarchy since weeks will overlap months. I have an outline set this way and I am using DTS effectively. If you want, send me an email and I will send you an OTL file with the Time dimension as I explained.Best Regards;

System Performance is always checked by a list of our lovely transactions in BASIS I generally had created one for my self and keep a track of performance..
IT goes like this..
Daily : DB12(Check Backup Logs);SM51(Check serv are UP);RZ20(Look for ALerts); SM13;SM21;SM37(check for cancelled jobs);SM12; st22 (dumps); ST02; SM35; SP01 (Spool jobs for more time); AL02; ST04; AL16.
Weekly : DB12; DB02; SAPDBA checks ; DB drives and space; EWA report of the past week.
Monthly : More or less the same stuff of Weekly with Archive files as well ...and SAPDBA cleanup logs... Monitor the DB growth and check for the backup logs...
Hopefully this info shd help yoiu in this regard.

View Outlook Calendar on iPhone In Day, Week, Or Month Views--NOT As A List

I apologize in advance if this has been asked already but couldn't find the answer after an extensive search.
My question is, after syncing my Outlook calendar to the iPhone, how can I view my appointments other than as a list in the iPhone? I would like to view my appointments in either day, week, or month views as opposed to only knowing what my next two or three appointments are. To me it just seems like a simple setting I'm overlooking somewhere. I appreciate any help you can afford

*iPhone calendar views are a joke!*
My 90's Palm Vx had far more usable views via Pimlico Software. The gray scale display with poor resolution was able to show one or even two weeks with appointment texts.
What does iPhone have? List view is the best there is. One sees all appointments with only just scrolling. Day view is terrible. The whole day should be visible without scrolling for it to be at least somewhat efficient. Now one has to first select a day with arrows and after that scroll thru the day and after that select another day and scroll again. No way. Month view is very poorly designed! The grid takes way too much space and who decided to put the appointment list in the bottom of the screen when one's index finger blocks it if sliding thru days in the grid!!! Oh man!!! Unlock the landscape view and please make the grid a little bit smaller and please place the appointment list on the left or at least on the right side. And make its font way smaller! No point in seeing two appoinments without scrolling.
iPhone's wonderful screen would be able to show one or two weeks with written appointments in a list like manner especially landscape. I mean seven columns titled Mo-Su and all appointments listed in that day's column.
Hopefully SDK will let someone else do it if Apple won't.
And we have to get to copy appointments and paste them to other days also. I am spending 30 min writing the same info one at a time to our monthly plan. Everyone else is already having a cup of coffee.

Icloud calendar not on correct day when in Week or Month view

Hi icloud calendar highlights a day behind, I almost forgot to pay a bill due as calendar was showing yesterdays date highlighted when viewed in Week or Month view! and assumed the bill was due tomorrow but of course it's due today!
It's correct when it displays the DAY, but not week or month. (In week or month view ithighlights the Tuesday) How can I get ical to show the correct date and highlight this?
For the record I assume its becasue I live in NZ and are ahead of the US. Since all my computers and phones etc automatically change and display ot the date correctly, how come this calendar in icloud doesn't?
I'm logging on through a mac at work which has todays (Wednesday 11th April) set fine, but when I view the ical in it's month or week view, it highlights today as being Tuesday! Is this a bug or is there a fix?

I fixed the issue myself, by editing my name on the icloud initial page. Changed the time setting from Pacific to New Zealand. This appears to have solved the issue for me. Who new it was in there?

SCSM2012 R2 Custom Reports with Weekly and monthly schedule to email

I am able to pull standard ListofIncidents Reports, want a similar kind of report with a Weekly and monthly scheduled reports to email, I have tried using pull reports from Cubes to Excel and do a custom reports but is not showing like standard ListofIncidents

The daily, weekly, and monthly maintanence scripts

Hello All,
I have a power mac G4 Digital Audio at 733mhz, my question is why am I not seeing the automatic maintanence scripts coming on at 3am in the morning? I am usually up on my computer at those times, but still have yet to see the system go into automatic maintanence scripts at that time of the morning? Is there something wrong with my configuration file for the scripts, or is there something I need to do in order for it to work?

Just a quick check: have you looked in /var/log/daily.out to see if the daily jobs are outputting anything to the logs, or maybe that's what you're talking about? Nothing logged?
Um, if there's nothing in the log, then you may have a /etc/daily.local file overriding the default script in /etc/periodic/daily in someway. A quick check of /etc/periodic/daily/500.daily may prove helpful. It should be doing all it's normal log rotations and jazz... If the file looks normal (not corrupted or just blank say) maybe try putting a little command to write something to /var/log/daily.out to tell yourself it's working like (you'll need to sudo this):
echo "this is daily.out working like a champ"
or whatever. Same thing for the weekly and monthly scripts...
If you've done all this already and haven't looked yet, check out the manual pages for periodic, periodic.conf, cron, crontab, and so forth...maybe there's some goofy setting hosing things somewhere.

Can't see daily/weekly/or monthly views with iCloud

can't see daily/weekly/or monthly views with iCloud; having other issues as well

I can see them in 'Active Appointment" view, but not on my daily/W/M view.
(They are also grouped in 'AA" as appointment, recurring weekly, recurring monthly, and recurring yearly. This makes it hard to find the right appointment as I cannot group them all on one entry)
I need to have this so that I can tell by day what my appointments are...

Displaying Tasks in Weekly and Monthly Views

According to the on-line help for oracle calendar 9.0.4, tasks cannot be viewed in the weekly and monthly views - when using the web client. I was wondering whether anyone has found a way to work around this - apart from usinng the 'view task' icon.

Is it a way to group weeks into Months?

I am looking to roll all the weeks into months. In my data i have defects that has a reported date. I'm trying to group all the defects for i.e. month of Oct, Nov, dec.....based on the reported date. The catch is i'm going back 3 years so I need to have the year at the end of every month. My data roll up should like.....

Exchange rate on weekly basis/ monthly basis

My requirement is fetching of exchange rate ( TCURR-UKURS ) on weekly and monthly basis
based on the condition
GDATU = during the month, consider rates from the first day of the month until the interface execution date
Example:
Interface execution on 08.07.2010 = consider rates from 08.01.2010 to 08.06.2010
WEEKLY JOB: The program will be executed every Saturday / D-1 during the month;
THE MONTHLY JOB: must be executed on the first business day of the following month (D-1)
Be aware when the first business day is on a Monday, such as on the 3rd, in which case the rates would be (D-2)
Please tell me how to take the date value based on teh above condition.
