Measurement & Automatization Reconoce mi cFP pero no lo reconoce mi Project. Si tengo Real-Time Module

El problema que tengo es que Measurement & Automatization Reconoce mi cFP-2200 pero no lo reconoce mi Project osea que al tratar de agregar un nuevo Target and Device no lo encuentra en la red y me da el error de Bank is not responding. Tengo labVIEW 2009 y la version que posee el cFP 6.0.5. tengo el modulo de Real-Time.

Lo primero que podemos hacer es verificar que no sea el firewall o el antivirus la razón por la quetu cFP no esté siendo detectado. MAX y LabVIEW son diferentes procesos en el sistema operativo y por tanto puede ser que lo veas en uno pero no en otro.
La forma más sencilla de verificar esto es desactivando el firewall y el antivirus y ver si puedes detectar el cFP correctamente en MAX. Si es así, entonces para no quedar sin protección necesitas permitir el acceso a red de LabVIEW desde tu firewall y desde tu antivirus.
La forma de descativar el firewall es directamente en el panel de control y el antivirus por lo general trae un administrador donde lo puedes deshabilitar.
Por favor haz esta prueba y me avisas tu resultado.

I need to measure the frequency of a signal on pin 39 (PFI 15) of a PXIe-6361 module. All of the digital I/O pins are already assigned and in use. The signal frequency range is 50KHz to 500KHz. I have tried all of the sample programs for DAQmx Counter/Timer frequency measurement. If I modify them to use my hardware, I get run-time errors with conflicts with resources already assigned.

Thanks for the response. As I stated before, I have tried all of the examples available that apply. There are only three and one of those uses two counters. The two I have tried are:
Examples/Hardware Input and Output/Counter Measurements/Digital Frequency/
DigFreq-Buff-Cont-ExtClk-ArmStart.prj and
DigFreq-LowFreq1Ctr.prj
These examples default to using what appears to be traditional DAQ hardware (Dev1/ctr0 and /Dev1/PFI0). I changed the counter to mine (/PXI1Slot3/ctr3) and directed my signal source (PFI15 on pin 39) to the counter. No matter what I tried would not run. They would always compile but gave run-time errors ranging from resources already in use to “external trigger required”. I have no external trigger source and, if I did, there is no indication of how to assign it to the counter. NI has a very good X Series Users Manual that tells all of the great things you can do with the hardware, but there is NO CLUE how to do any of those things!!!! I know that some NI DAQmx functions use hardware resources that they never tell you about. I discovered that when trying to produce a single output pulse from a timer using counter #0. (Which, by the way, no one at NI could tell me how to do it.)
Measuring frequency should be very simple. The unknown signal is routed through a precise gate to a counter, and then the counter is read. NI DAQmx uses the opposite approach of using my signal as the gate and counting their internal source. However, the examples would not let me use the internal reference sources.
To answer your other questions, I am not performing any other measurements at the same time and the counter is not being used for anything else, period.

Embedded LV 8.0 Real-Time application on cFP-2120

Hi!
I'm working on a project which involves programming of a real-time application running on a cFP-2120. The purpose of the application is to control the motion over 7 test-objects with a servomotor. Test-objects have 3 sensors each. Remote control of the application is necessary. The program should have a GUI which shows graphics of sensordata and buttons to open other VIs like set-up, details, logging etc.
Could i just build an application like it was meant to run on a pc, deploy it to the cFP-2120 and use Connect to Remote Panel ?
Or
Should I build separate VIs;
-the program which always runs on the cFP-2120 and
-the User Interface which is runned on a computer now and then which gets value from Network-Published shared Variables
I need some tips here

I would definitely go for the second option, esp. if you want to have this program for a longer time.
It's much easier to write a good GUI on the PC without the limitations of a real time OS. There you have to keep too many things in mind (esp. no dynamic arrays, performance issues due to GUI programming, not too many sub VIs)... So write a quite minimal control software for FP and do all the interface stuff on the PC. Then you can easily log all the data into a database (if you have the DSC Engine) as well.

You seem to select EMG voltage vs Angle(Z-axis). Is that really what you want? More resasonable would seem e.g. EMG voltage vs. time.
If you want to process the 3D (xyz data), you probably need to add some more math). Why are you taking the absolute value? RMS does not care about the sign anyway, right?
They you are trying an XY graph with a single point, because your Y value is only a single number. You need an equal number of points for Y.
Here's a quick modification that graph EMG(mV) vs. time(ms) and takes the RMS of the EMG data. See if this gives you some ideas.
Please provide more information what you want to do with the angles.

Trying to measure frequency with the cFP-CTR-502. Can't get tutorial to work!

I am trying to measure the frequency of a
signal that I'm counting using the cFP-CTR-502. I can successfully
count pulses but I what I really need to know is the RATE of counts
(counts/s or the frequency). I have found some Labview programs that
supposedly do this that I've downloaded from ni.com (link below). The
concept makes sense of using a gate and output but the programming is
crazy - at least the program in the link below is.
1. Is there an easier way to measure the frequency of counts?
2. Why will the program from the link below ( frequency_measurement__ctr_.vi
) not work on my system? I get an error everytime I run it. Could I be
missing some VI's necessary for it to run? Or is it from another
LabView version that is not compatible?
The
entire error is: -32810 occured at FieldPoint initialization failed.
Possible causes, 1. Missing or corrupt configuration file; 2. Failed to
create call backs. : FP Open.vi

What is a fast way to drive a HP53132A counter to do real time, "time interval" measurements?

Right now I run my system on a simple PCI GPIB bus. The fastest I can the time interval measurement is at 100 Hz. However, the has 350 ns timing and the PC running the program is much faster than this. So I should be able to achieve a rate of at least 10 kHz (depending on the counter of course). Do you have any suggestions for the way to set up the counter for the fastest measurement?

I think that you're running into a limitation of the counter itself. My manual for the 53131 says that it can can do a maximum of 200 GPIB measurements per second. I think that the 53132 is similar except for extended resolution. What you might try is the STATS mode where you command the counter to take a number of measurements and then calculate the statistic. It is generally fster to let an instrument do a series of measurements and accumulate the results than to try and transfer one measurement at a time over the GPIB bus. VXI, PCI, PXI instruments can do things a lot faster so that might be an option as well. You should also be aware that your rate of 10 kHz requires timing resolution greater than what is in a PC (a PC has 1 msec resolution at best a
nd it's not deterministic at all) so if you need something accurate, you'll have to use external hardware timing.

Installing Measurement Studio 2010 has caused error PRJ00003 errors in VC Projects

After installing MS 2010, I tried opening and even creating a basic project from existing code and when compiling, I am now getting the following error:
error PRJ00003: Error spawning 'rc.exe'
which seems related to not being able to find kernel32.lib
Anyone know any insight about this? I've found lots of other people having this issue and it seems some path or something got messed up. Just wanted to check to see if anyone else had this happen.
Some system info
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows has v5.0 folder with Include and Lib\IA64 folders (kernel32.lib is in there) and a v6.0A folder which has an empty bin folder and Bootstrapper with bunches of stuff
And my MVS folder is such: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0
And regedit sdk key has CurrentIA64Folder and Version as the two keys pointing to v5.0

I have a couple of questions about what you are experiencing:
1. Is this happening with all projects or do projects not using Measurement Studio functions compile successfully?
2. I'm assuming you are building Visual C++ projects, but have you tried compiling other projects in Visual Studio?
3. What version of Visual Studio are you using?
Also, some things to check:
1. Some people who have ahd this problem found that their virus scanner thought rc.exe was an infected file and was isolating it.
2. Check to see if rc.exe is located in the following:
   C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\Common\MSDev98\Bin
   C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VB98\Wizards
   C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\Common7\Tools\Bin
   C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\VC\bin

CFP Real Time database query

I want to do a fairly simple thing. I want my cFP to read in data, and send it to a MySQL database on a server. The reading in of the data is easy. The hard part is getting it to the database.
The attached .vi works fine when running on my Windows PC. When I try to download it to the cFP, it aborts and I get the message "Failed to download DB Tools Open Schema.vi". Now I know the cFP probably doesn't have the ODBC drivers to make this .vi work on the cFP like it does on my PC, but I was hoping that during the download, a translation would take place that would make it work. It doesn't.
Could someone take a look at the .vi and make some suggestions on how I could get MySQL queries to work on my Compact FieldPoint?
Thanks for your help; this is a make-or-break deal for the project I am working on. Even if you don't know the answer, suggestions are appreciated!

LAMP just stands for Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP, and has nothing to do with Labview. It is a popular configuration for non-corporate web/database servers because all four components are free! These are server applications, so the machine never 'logs in' to be able to run Labview .exes. That's why I'm introducing a PC inbetween.
If I discover a way to run .exe as a server application, than I may revisit the system configuration.
