Measurement reading entry list

Hi PM Experts,
Could some one please tell me how to associate a Measurement Reading Entry List to a PM Order or a Task List. I want the users to fill in few measurement points at the completion of a work order. I can club them in to one Meas. Reading Entry List.
But dont know how to link it to Order

with referance to your reply,
If you create notification, while raising request or malfunction report, measurement document will be created. So SAP has given option to create the Measurement document from Notification.
Once you complete the work & then while doing confirmation, maintenance people will capture the measurement reading. So in Confirmation, you can create the Measurement document.
Whats the need to attach measurement document in order / task list?
Thanks for the reply. Well answering your question at the end. I have few business requirement around recording measuring points associated to PM Work Flow. Inorder to cater to them in the best way I need to understand the concept and application behind Measurement Reading Entry List. Therefore I'd really appreciate if you could let me know in which cases we can/have to use entry list.

There are three options to craete measuring entry sheet.
1.Equipment Measuring Entry sheet.
2.Function location Measuring Entry sheet.
3.General Measuring Entry sheet.
For entring measrement documents u can use IK34.

BAPI for Order Confirmation along with measurement reading entry

Reader version listed in GUI does not match that of executable file (again)

I posted regarding this issue before (http://forums.adobe.com/message/4817948), but was never able to find an answer.
Presently I am deploying Adobe Reader 10.1.5 via the MSI installer and group policy. The issue is that a user shut down her Windows 7 computer midway though the MSI installation interrupting (i.e. screwing up) the installation process. I had to delete a few registry entries and reboot the user's PC in order to re-initiate the Reader installation (something I've done in the past).
To verify that Reader was installed sucessfully, I browse to the Reader executable (AcroRd32.exe) in Program Files, double click the executable, select About Adobe from the Help menu, check the version number in the information box and see that the version number is 10.1.4 (i.e. the old version that I am upgrading from). However, when I browse to the Reader executable (AcroRd32.exe) in Program Files and and open the file properties, I see that the version is 10.1.5 (i.e. the new version that I am upgrading to).
So the Reader version listed in GUI does not match that shown in the executable property box.
This is the second time that this has happened with a Windows 7 PC. I've never experienced this sort of thing with a Windows XP PC.
Why is the version number different in the GUI? Where is the version number read in from for the GUI? The registry? Can anybody shed some light on this situation?

Let me clarify that the tool posted on http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html is not the uninstaller for Reader. Instead it is a cleaner tool used for any botched up installation as mentioned above. This utility should only be used in rare circumstances. Instead reader has its own uninstaller which can be used through ARP (Add Remove Programs) in Windows or you can also use the command line "msiexec /x AcroRead.msi" to uninstall Reader.

Dynamic entry list in Dropdown List Box

Hi All,
I need to create a dropdown box in a form whose input is connected to the output of a bapi/query. I want the values of a field in the bapi to the elements of the entry list.
Can anyone tell me how to create the entry list dynamically?

Java Web service and dynamic entry list

Hello,
In my VC mode, I have a combo box with a dynamic entry list. This entry list call a web service function which the source is :

Did u try using dynamic entry list with a BAPI. Is that working fine?
Actually, I faced the same problem. I used a drop-down list, in which dynamic entry list works fine in case of a BAPI and appears blank in case of a webservice. I applied the latest patch files mentioned in a SAP note. People in forum asked me to do that. Its mentioned in the note that, "Dynamic entry list with webservice bug is fixed in the released patch file". But even after applying the latest patch files, it did not work for me. So, i think this bug is yet to be fixed.

Entry List: I need input dynamic

I need that the vale input for a Dynamic entry list are anohter field. When I select this field in the Dynamic entry List, they show a message: "this.diagram" is null
I can compile but they not running.
How can I assign the input value form anhoter filed?

Hi.
If I understand correctly - you are trying to dynamically provide values in a control based on the change of values in another control.
An option to achieve this is to create several controls of the same and bind their vaules dynamically, however only display the one you need when a condition is met. A way of achieving this is to set the gaurd conditions for your trigger control to prefill dynamically when met thus reducing unncessary calls or prefills of values.

JDBC Dynamic Entry List

I'm trying to create a dynamic entry list based on JDBC stored procedure (SP).
While configuring the output parameters I don't see any of the output fields of the SP.
Any advice would be appreciated,

Yes, you're right. This is because VC doesn't know the fields of the stored procedure until you test it, but it has to be done separately for each usage of the stored procedure, and you can't do it for entry lists.
There is a workaround for it though.
Wrap the store procedure with a service: create a service in the same DC (from the New Model dialog), drag the stored procedure to the service, test it and add the fields, and from the stored procedure drag data in and data out for all its ports. Then use that service in the entry list (when you define the entry list, choose "Visual Composer Models" in "search in").

Dropdownlist dynamic entry list

hi all;
I have a problem with dropdown list dynamic entry list... I m using BI System as a data service. My characteristic has a hierarchy in bw system but i cant dynamic entry list with my characterictic in vc. In input value i use my characgteristic name( eg @Company). and in output value i use @key and @text. But when i deploy it dropdown list always empty...
What can i do about this?? Can anyone help me?

Hi Ozan,
you want to display a hierachy in a dropdownlist? This is not easy, but should be possible, because the H-Table for hierchies have always the same data structure, so you have to write a function module which creates an internal table like the hierchy. I think the problem is the display in the dropdown, so that the user notice the nodes and the childnodes and so on, maybe you can add 2 spaces for every childnode so that it looks like a tree. I hope your hierachy hasn't a lot of levels.
To the H-table:
the field tlevel is equivalent to the hierchy level so the nodes under the root are 01 child nodes of these nodes have the value 02 and so on.
Via the fileds parentID, ChildId and NextID you have all the information for building your tree in a internal table, which has a key and a text.
The text can be read via the information about the infoObject and the inode is the value, so that you can read the texts from the texttables.
This should be possible for an average abap developer. Looping over H-table and append the values to the internal table...
Maybe I have the time in february to write an prototype then I will write a blog.

Dear Experts,
I am preparing one Z report on measuring points and documents and just want to confirm that are we assigning entry list number to any equipment or functional location ?
My report req is client want to capture the measuring points which has no documents entered by user, any soution for this ?

The entry list is to group the measuring points to ease the data entry operations in a single screen IK34 instead IK11.
For your client requirement, you may get the measuring point from IMPTT table and pass into IMRG to find no Measurement document entries.

Calendar now splits my entries into 2 separate entries. 1 entry lists date/time/name. The second entry lists notes and alerts. I can delete the date/time one, but not the alert entry. That means I will get all the alerts even if I deleted the original entry. It shows up as two separate entries for each one entry. This happened after the Yosemite install.

LOCK Entry List

Hi Experts!
Is it OK if SM12's "LOCK Entry List" looks like as follows:
Some tables are appearing at least twice ore more with the lock mode E.
Is it acceptable.
Please give me a hint, is it possible that such a scenario may cause

There can be 2 entries in SM12 for same table. But if you check the record which is locked, it will be different.
There can be row level locks on tables.
If you are trying to edit the 'record' of a table listed in SM12, which is locked, then it should give an error.
Try accessing some other record of the same table, it should not cause any issue.

Unable to Read Calendar List Items through CAML

According to your post, my understanding is that you got an error when read calendar list items using CAML.
I created two single line of text columns in the Calendar( Year and Month), then add items in the Calendar to check with your code. The CAML query worked well as below.

Which type of the two columns in your Calendar? Were they text type?
Are you sure the field name(<FieldRef Name='Year'/>,
<FieldRef Name='Month' />) is same as internal name?
We should only use internal name while refrencing columns in CAML query. If you have space In you column , replace it with "_x0020_", such as
News_x0020_Category.

Flex Table Add Row Issue with Dynamic Entry Lists in Visual Composer

Your help would be kindly appreciated in resolving an 'Add Row'-issue within a Flex Table that uses Dynamic Entry Lists in Visual Composer. The issue here is as follows :
When I use a [Local Dynamic Entry List |http://www.postyourimage.com/view_image.php?img_id=O5hrG2aMxWZ84Mu1211193041]to populate a row field, the initial row and all next rows are emptied upon 'insert row', they loose their selected values and also the entry list values ('pull-down menus') are lost. The initial row does [show the entry list values |http://www.postyourimage.com/view_image.php?img_id=2HybmEHAuQYs9cg1211192766]from the Local Dynamic Entry List based on the dynamically assigned input value; upon 'insert row' the entry lists are lost. Hi,
you should be able to assign a dynamic value with global entry lists as well. If you say @myParam as dynamic value. VC will indicate in red letters, that the field @myParam is unknown. However, it will work, as long as @myParam is known in the form or table where you use the entry list.
I have never heard of the problem that entry lists are emptied after "insert"-event.

You can define Dynamic entry list for Drop down list and combo box but not for input field.
