Measuring of efficiency in each work center in terms of gi and gr
Dear Gurus
Suppose I want to produce fert D with raw matl x. In bom of D I have mentioned only x. While producing D I am performing say 4 operations t1, t2, t3, t4 one by one.After operation t1 material coming out is suppose A.My client wants to know how much A is coming out and he wants to receive A and issue it to next operation t2.
They don't want to make production order for A.Can anybody help ?

In your scenario if you r product A is co product then you can do 1 thing in Bom itself make recursive BOMYour material A will be negative as co product ( -ve value ) in 1st line item & 2nd line item for A will be as input also .2nd line item you can assign to operation t2
Nnow when u do migo issue for same order dont issue mat A .after confirmation of op t1 operation make GRN of order select only item A ( co product ) make grn then this mat will be available for issue for next operation .Like wise you can proced .

But when loading to the Info Object, one person has deleted. Because of this, in the report level displaying one person.

Hi all,
Presently we are calaculating the overhead for the total operations in the service order.Now the requirement is client want to have overhead for each workcenter user in the service order.
Lets say,there are 3 workcenters were used in the service order with 3 operations.Now instead of single overhead,they want three overhead in the order.I know this is not the right place to post this and I just thought some one could experianced this scenario in their projects.If so pl share with me.

you can do this provided you have customized the costing sheet as per the requirement .Create separate Activity type for each work center with different cost element .
while creating the costing sheet create separate base row for the respective cost element and then fix the overhead percentage

How do I create a new Work Center for the transaction launcher and links
Hi
The requirement here is for me to find out if I can create a new Work Center that will contain up to 6 assignment blocks and each block having either links to websites and BW reports, or triggers to R/3 applications via the transaction launcher.
Can I do this purely through customising or do I need to create a new view using BSPs? If I can do it through customising please could I have a few pointers to what component I would need to use/copy?

Just so I understand, if I want to show a work center I need to link it to a component / view? I think this was the original query - do I need a developer to create the view that contains the 6 blocks with their links to reports, transactions and websites? I think when I talk about blocks I mean 1 viewset containing 6 views. There is no SAP standard view that would suit my requirements is there? Even if the work center had 8 views, I can always hide the two views in configuration.
After the developer has created the view, I then reference that component in the target Id in the define logical links section of my work center.
If my understanding is right, then it follows that it is not possible to create a user specific work center without some development.
Is this correct?

Work Center Analysis Monthwise
Hi,
In COOIS when we take list as operations it displays the various details like work center,PO, operation qty, yield, Standard time and confirmed avitity,actual finish date etc. We can take a report about all these details for which orders are confirmed.I have requirement where for each work center, monthwise report is required to display only the partial /confirmed production orders during that particular month. Is there any possibility to get report monthwise??.

did u try with COOIS, itself.
put work center ,system status( at operaion / order level), basic/ production dates( select one month span), and it will display only that work cneter specif prod orders with addtional selection criterial you applied.
i am not sure if final output has all the information columns you need to see in work cneter monthly report.
if something is missing in output columns, try enhancing the COOIS. -
Please guide me step by step procedure to create work center in PP module so that if i reference the same in Poduction order it will generate all costs (estimated, planned , actual costs).

you can go to transaction CR 01 to create work center put plant work center name and then category of ur work center i.e. machine ,labour,production line
1. Basic data - general details of ur work center. -- category person responsible and with that standard value key with six parameters
2 default values -- put ur control key,and unit of measurement for ur parameters like min. hour ,second.
3. capacity - here you mention all the details of ur standard capacity details header details and capacity calculation formula
4. scheduling - here you mention ur scheduling formula and standard queue time
5. costing - here you put ur cost center and controlling area with validity period dates and activity types and formula for it
Then save.

Dynamic work center assignment

In our process for each process (operation) there are more than one physical work center.
The assignment of the order to each work center is decided only at the time of operation execution.
How can we map this scenario?
Can we change the work center during the confirmation at operation level?

1) Yes , when you enter order number & operation number, system will pick the work center
from Prd order in CO11N
2) Now just change the work center as required, system will not stop you
3) coming to costs, Variance will be calculated for changed work center

I am new to CRM. Got a requirement to change the positionof the Work Center sub items.
I could able to change the main work center positons (Using t.code crmc_ui_nblinks) .whereas for the sub items, i do not know where to go & change the positions. Appreciate anyone's help.

Each work center internally contains no of groups, each group contains no of logical links ( sub levels ).
First we need to give position for groups. ex. search, creates are groups -> we can enter positions for this in the same trx crmc_ui_nblinks .. click on the workcenter and search for ur work center and select it . Click on second level navigation and change the position.
For changing the position for logical link:
go to the Define Work Center Link Groups and search for your group id and click on the second level navigation. Here you can change the position for the logical link ( sub items ).

Work center capacity header freezed
Dear Gurus,
we're not able to edit the work center capacity header. not able to edit the start and finish times.
it is happening only for one work center. in other work centers same capacity category is editable.

Check your work center categeroy definition for which edit is not possible.
The work center category determines which data can be maintained in a work center.
Each work center category is assigned to the applications (for example, production, plant maintenance or quality management) whose menus allow you to maintain work centers with this category.
Each work center category has a number of screens assigned to it which the system displays when work centers of this category are displayed. The screens contain groups of fields (for example, scheduling data). Depending on the work center category, you can make field selections on these screens (for example, defining required entry fields).

Work Center not appearing in CM25 display
Hi All,
We have three work centers assigned to three consecutive operations in a planned order of plant XX. We have a Z (modifed version of SAPCRPG001)overall profile in CM25 with the initial selection screen where we give plant XX as the input and execute the transaction. In the output we are able to see only the data of the first workcenter whereas the other 2 doesnt appear at all.
However when viewing the same in standard profile SAPCRPG001, we are able to see the data for all the three work centers. (Red Bar graphical view)
We are unable to find out how Z profile is restricting the 2 work centers from getting displayed in CM25 output for a given planned order.
I have compared the first work center with the other 2 and could confirm that there is no any change at work center level.
What could be the issue ?

Thank you for the above message. We have checked the above settings and observed that it is for selection screen setup. However i would like to clarify once again the actual issue, that i am facing.
I have 3 work centers in a process order (as shown in attached image 1)
. Each have different operation time. When i view this order in CM25 using standard profile SAPCRPG001, i am able to see three workcenters with respective loads along with the red bars in the graphical view (as shown in attached image 2).
Now, when i use the Z profile instead of standard SAP profile, I am able to see only one work center with its load and corresponding red bar in the graphical view (as shown in attached image 3). I am fine with seeing only one work center, but i would like see the cumulative load of all the three work centers against this work center i.e the red bar should be longer and euqivalent to the sum of loads of the three work centers.
I have explained the same in the attachment file with relevant screen shots. Please advice.

How to find work center in REM from the material Documnet number
Hi ,
We want to develop a Z report for the repetitive manufacturing cycle. Please let me know the logic how to get the work center from the material document that is posted after backflushing MFBF tranaction.
I will elaborate it little further. From the material document number that is genearted out of confirmation from that document no how can I find the work center so that we can so show the throughput of each work center.
Please avoid standard transaction of MCRP etc.

I'm not sure whether you can get the work center details,but you can get the production version number from you can get the
rate routing details.
Give a try by passing the document no to table BLPP and get the document log number and pass on the document log number to
table BLPK,by which you can identify the production version.
Also give a try using this FM,RM_DISPLAY_AFRU_REM,I guess you can get the exact work center details from here.
check and revert back.

Cost centers are used to track where cost occur in the organization.
As costs are incurred, they are assigned or posted to the appropriate cost center.
The posting and assignment of costs to cost centers is a critical step in using the CO module.
Cost centers are organized in a Standard Hierarchy.
The Cost Center Standard Hierarchy is used to structure the cost centers in an organization.
All cost centers must be entered in the Standard Hierarchy.
To display the standard hierarchy follow the menu path:

Work center its specific to which application you are using.

In the SAP System, work centers are entered in the inspection operations. Several inspection characteristics can be inspected for each work center or inspection operation.

CAPP Functionality and Custom Z table when maintaining work center standard

i have to do enhancmenet to transaction CR02,
Production planning needs to update PP routers with Standard Values that pertain to setup, machine, labor, man calculation, machine calculation. They will use CAPP functionality to accomplish this. Work centers will be classified with characteristics identified as CAPP standard values. The actual standard values will be assigned to each work center using transaction CR02, program SAPLCRA0. The work centers will be classified and standard values assigned.Upon saving the work center entries, the system needs to update the Z table with the assigned characteristic values and store the information by plant and work center. When the CAPP program is executed, the program will go a Z table where the work center characteristics are stored.What if I really don't care about the old historical values??? I only want to populate this information from this point forward. Would that change your mind as to which method to choose???
In this case, you can use the Append Structure. There would be more advantages as you don't have to keep track of data consistency, Locking / Unlocking mechanism etc.

Work center wise production order infomation report
Hi all,
i have a requirement that workcenter wise (with date) production order information with quantity details (plan and actual).
Eg: My production order quantity - 40 nos. (it takes 4 days to finish).
i have three operation in production order.
my order scheduled start date - todays date.
In standard, when enter my first operation work center, system showing production order and its quantity (40 nos) . but i need to split that order quantity in report.. means on todays date for particular production order - order quantity = 10 nos.
Clent want like that (with quantity break) report..
Any standard report ???
If customization.... How it can be mapped in SAP.??

This FM get data from the report used by transaction COOIS. If you needed the header data then you can use lt_ioheader table and seperate the data with the date. If you need at operation basis the you can use lt_iosoper table. You can use this FM to create custom report even with the checks like material availability, PRT availability, capacity requirement etc.

Select the work center in sales order
Hello gurus,
When I create a saler order, the system create automatically a service order with the corresponding data which are reported in transaction OISD for the service material. The key of this table only permits a work center for one material service and plant. And it is impossible to add more work centers for the same service material and plant.
So I need to be able to choose the work center when I generate the sales order. How can I get it?
