Measuring Phase Difference of acquired sound input - How to set the reference

I am trying to measure the phase difference between two audio inputs.(Left and Right Channel of my sound card)
Both are free running 1kHz audio samples which come in and out of phase.
When the samples are in phase everything seems to be working correctly and shows no phase difference.
However once the signals start to go out of phase +-10deg the result keeps jumping around.
It appears to be the fact that it is changing the reference to determine the phase.
When I view the output phase of a channel it is a sawtooth waveform moving from 250deg and then wraps round to -110deg
What I want is to fix one input at 0 degrees and see the others inputs phase difference against it.
Is there a way to set one signal as the reference or an alternative strategy?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE acquire.jpg IS ACTUALLY THE VI.
It would not upload as the vi. Please rename extension to acquire.vi to view it.

I did some modifications to my first vi. Now is the amplitude problem removed. At least in then I simulate. You may test in real world:smileytongue:
Besides which, my opinion is that Express VIs Carthage must be destroyed deleted

  • Measure phase difference between 2 signals

    I am very new to labview. i m trying to use labview to measure phase between 2 signals from encoder. I also want to measure the state of 2 quadrature square signals. anyone has any idea how to do it?

    Hi "rvn10",
    Quadrature encoders do by nature have a phase difference of 90 degrees between channel A and B. This phase difference is required to know in which direction the shaft is rotating when a transition from one of the channels is received. Please see these two links for some useful information:
    Encoders
    Linear and Rotary Encoders
    Quadrature Encoder / Position Measurement
    If your goal is to measure the angular position using the two quadrature square signals, then your task is quite simple if you use one of our Counter/Timer cards. Check for example the shipping example called "Measure Angular Position.vi".
    If you want to read more about our most affordable Counter/Timer product, then check this link:
    NI PCI-6601
    Please let us know if you are using different hardware to acquire the signals.

  • How to set the table input in Query template?

    Hi all.
    I need to call a Bapi_objcl_change, with import parameter and a table as an input. I have done this, in BLS. I have set the table input in the
    form of xml. In BLS, I get the output(the value gets change in SAP R3, what i have given in BLS).  But if i set the same xml structure  in
    query template, I didn't get the output. Table input parameter does not take that xml source.  How to set the table input in Query template?
    can anyone help me?
    Regards,
    Hemalatha

    Hema,
    You probably need to XML encode the data so that it will pass properly and then xmldecode() it to set the BAPI input value.

  • How to set the default text in an input box or a label to be a predefine, multiline text

    how to set the default text in an input box or a label to be a predefine, multiline text. In other words how to break the line in the code of a text box.
    thank you

    There are a couple of ways of doing this:
    If you're editing on the canvas, press Shift + Enter.
    If you're working in Express View (see lower right hand corner of Project Siena), you'll need to copy a hard return from another app such as Notepad.
    I believe a better implementation of hard returns are in the list of requested functionality that you can find here:

  • How to set the gain and input coupling for each channel on a NI 4462 DaQ card?

    I've seen a few examples in how to set the gain for NI 4462, but none tell me how to chose the channel I wish to set this gain.  Also the same problem with input coupling
    Does anyone know how to set the gain and input coupling for each individual channel?
    Thanks,

    All fields in InDesign can be entered in any measurement system. So, if you want to make an 8"x10" document and go to File>New Document and the window looks like this:
    …you can type either 8 in or 8" into the Width field like this:
    …and when you move to the next field, it will convert the eight inches into the equivalent number in the unit of measure that it is using at the moment, like this:
    … (203.2 milimeters is the same as 8 inches). You can also enter a different measurement unit into other fields once the file is created, such as the width or height of a frame, or the position of an object in the X and Y coordinates.
    If you would rather just work in inches instead of having to type the inches mark or abbreviation, go to InDesign>Preferences>General and select the Units & Increments tab. There you will see Ruler Units for Horizontal and Vertical at the top of the window. Set them to Inches and all of the fields will display in inches. If you do that to an open document, you will change the unit of measure for that document. If you do it while no documents are open, it will change the unit of measure for any new documents you create. To change the unit of measure for existing documents, you will have to open each and make the change.

  • How to set the value of something in a component from the main application?

    Hi,
    Maybe I've been working on this too long, but I can't figure
    out how to set the value of the text property of a text input field
    in a component from my main application in an mx:Script block. I
    have a component called Login in the components folder, and I need
    to set the text value of empNum. In my mxml declaration at that the
    top, I've declared these components as xmlns:c="components.*" So
    logically, the property I'm trying to set is c.Login.empNum.text. I
    can't figure out the correct syntax to get this to work, and I've
    tried everything I can think of. Does anyone have any suggestions?
    I'm thinking this should be an easy one, and I'm just missing
    something.
    Thanks!
    Holli

    Did you try giving it an id ?
    <c:MyLogin id="loginScreen" /c>
    So later you can do loginScreen .empNum.text = "my text"

  • How to set the default selection screen

    I modified screen using screen-input = 0.
    then how to set the screen-input = 1.
    that is how to make that field input enable.
    if use the statement screen-input = 1 directly it is giving 2 fields to enter value

    In the PBO / AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUPUT
    AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT.
      LOOP AT SCREEN.
        IF screen-name = <your FIELD>. " Fields by name
    *   IF SCREEN-GROUP1 = <your group of fields>. " Fields with MODIF ID
          IF <test>.
            screen-input = 1. " For input enable
          ELSE.
            screen-input = 0. " For input disable
          ENDIF.
          MODIFY SCREEN.
        ENDIF.

  • How to set the JMX Engine parameter in Process Administation?

    Hi, All,
    I installed OBPM10gR3 over WLS 10gR3 clusting environment. OBPM Engines started successfully.
    There is one admin server running on localhost: 10101, one manager server running on localhost:10103, another managed server running on localhost:10105.
    I wonder how to set the JMX Engine configuration in Process Administration. How about the port? 10101 or 10103,10105? How about the Credentials, weblogic as the default user?
    I'm appreciated you can share me the JMX Engine configuration in Process Administation for weblogic clusting. Thanks in advance.
    Best Regards,
    Bill

  • How to set the focus on the new added line in ALV list (OO)

    Dear Friends,
    I have an ALV list based on OO(using alv_grid->set_table_for_first_display), when I click the 'new' button to add a new line, the mouse arrow is always pointing to the first line - not the new created line for user to input!!.
    So how to set the focus (mouse arrow) on the new added line in ALV list for user to input it friendly?
    Thanks a lot!!

    Hello,
    To get the selected line row first we have get all the rows in the internal table.
    When u click on the button when it is creating the new line we have to pass the row number to the call method
    CALL METHOD <ref.var. to CL_GUI_ALV_GRID > ->get_selected_rows
       IMPORTING
          ET_INDEX_ROWS  =   <internal table of type LVC_T_ROW > (obsolete)
          ET_ROW_NO      =   <internal table of type LVC_T_ROID > .
    CALL METHOD<ref.var. to CL_GUI_ALV_GRID>->set_selected_rows
       EXPORTING
          IT_ROW_NO  =  <internal table of type LVC_T_ROID>
       or alternatively
       IT_INDEX_ROWS  =  <internal table of type LVC_T_ROW>
          IS_KEEP_OTHER_SELECTIONS  =  <type CHAR01>.

    Hi,
    Go to Media> Equaliser and set your desired settings
    You could also enable the stereo widening effect to widen sound effects.

  • How to set the field non-editable in the classical report..

    Hi..
              How to set the field non-editable in the classical report..

    Hi experts,
    For the component 'ICCMP_EMP_SRCH' there is a view 'BUPAEMPSEARCH' , which has 2 context nodes 'CUSTOMER' AND 'SEARCHEMPLOYEE' , i need to add the field 'NICKNAME' which is part of the 'CUSTOMER' context node on the search screen. Currrently all the fields on the screen screen are from the 'SEARCHEMPLOYEE' context node. when i did the configuration , the 'NICKNAME' field is greyed out . I have already generated the Getter ,Setter , GET_I, GET_M methods for the 'NICKNAME' field and the context node and controller class and context class are all active .
    on debugging the GET_I method, i see that rv_disabled = 'TRUE' and the current = collection_wrapper->get_current( ) is returning empty value .
    for this rv_disabled to be set false , the code below is not triggered since there is no value in current.
    IF current->is_property_readonly(
    'NICKNAME' ) = abap_false. "#EC NOTEXT
    rv_disabled = 'FALSE'.
    ENDIF.
    when i check for other search fields of context node 'SEARCHEMPLOYEE' , all the fields are set to rv_disabled = 'FALSE'.
    can anyone suggest how to approch this. iam i missing any binding between context nodes or any activations ?
    The field properties are set as Input field and the display checkbox is not checked.

    Hi Siddhesh,
    Thanks for replying.
    Actually,NW has its own version of jaxrpc related jar files (in  <drive>:\usr\sap\J2E\JC02\j2ee\cluster\server0\bin\ext\webservices_lib folder) which are of a older version and are being picked up instead of the jars that are present in my application package. As a result, there are exceptions like:

    This problem is solved in websphere as probably because we have classloader configuration set through Admin console.
    But just wanted to know does we have such option in NetWeaver? If yes, how to set the classloader mode to parent last.
    Or if you know some other solution then let me know.
    Thanks,
    Chandan
