Media Ctr - Live TV Audio

This was working fine until I installed a Realtek drive update. Then when watching LIVE TV on Media Center, the sound is like a steady rapid machine gun fire. The video is find.
I reinstalled the original driver, but the problem still exists.  I've tried changing settings, but I don't know where the problem lies.

Any and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
Thanks,

In your Control Panel, what shows up in the Sound section?
Are you using HDMI for audio to your monitor or standard analog audio to a set of external PC-type speakers?

When streaming audio, FME locks up good and stops sending audio, usually after 8 minutes.
I have to force down my machine with the reset button.
I even tried with no video. Same problem.

    Update:
The same problem exists in Flash Media Encoder version

  • Media Center Keeps playing audio when connected to HDMI

I have LCD TV connected to may laptop.
The media center keeps playing audio sound when the HDMI sound output is enable.
    Laptop: CQ35-214TX
    OS: Windows 7

This is one of the BIGGEST reasons why I would want to take my PC and chuck it into the nearest heavily traveled lane of traffic and watch it get completely destroyed by any vehicle that runs over it then go buy a MAC. The idiocy involved in doing such a simple task is revolting.
FIrstly, and in no way am I directing my ire at you specifically, I have already performed almost everything you have listed for me to try... PREVIOUS to me posting this cry for help.
Secondly, I included a screen shot of the sound devices in my first post and indicated that my display driver/device is  Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000. Beyond that, I don't know what you are looking for.
Thirdly, and most frustrating, the document you told me to "follow every single word of instruction" (which I have previously done) doesn't even tell me to connect the laptop to the TV. It talks about the different kinds of connections but never actually TELLS me to connect the laptop to the TV and WHEN to do it.
When I connected my laptop to my TV for the first time it never tried to load ANY drivers. HOWEVER, it does show "PANASONIC TV" (the brand of my TV) and the monitor type in the resolution dialog. But it also show no other type of monitor.
The biggest issue I can see is that there is NO DRIVER LISTED FOR THE HDTV AUDIO in the sound devices. Therefore how could it transmit audio via the HDMI cable since it doesn't seem to even recognize it?
I am at my wits end. And I have NO INTENTION OF PAYING SOMEONE TO MAKE THIS WORK!!!! There is NO reason why it should not work upon conection of the HDMI cable.
What the hell is wrong with HP (or any other PC manufacturer - and Microsoft, as well) when the simple task of connecting a laptop to a TV is so complex and convoluted. And, by the way, I am an electrical engineer with multiple degrees... And this doesn't make sense to me!!! For pity's sake, can someone please give me a simple solution to what should be a simple issue??!!

Where do the MEDIA FILES live after I import them from camera to iMovie (Mac Mini OS X 10.9.2)?  I need to MOVE MEDIA FILES to external hard drive.

    Hello bbryson68,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
From your post I understand you're wanting to move iMovie project and event data to another drive.  I found the following information in the iMovie help that answers your question.
Copy or move projects, events, or clips between libraries or storage devices
Connect a storage device that contains the target library to your Mac, or copy the target library to your Mac.
Choose File > Open Library, and choose an option from the submenu. You can choose from recently opened libraries, locate an existing library on your Mac, or create a new library. The selected library is opened in the Libraries list, with the first event selected and its contents displayed in the browser.
In the Libraries list, select the event that contains the item you want to move or copy.
In the browser, select the item you want to move or copy.Tip:  To select multiple clips or projects in the same library, hold down the Command key as you click the items you want to select, or drag a selection rectangle around the items.
    Do one of the following:
To move items between events or libraries: Drag the clip or project to another event or library.
To copy items between events or libraries: Option-drag the clip or project to another event or library by first starting to drag and then holding down the Option key as you drag.
    Work with multiple libraries

  • Live streaming audio on flash site

    Hello,
I am new to Flash and I am working on a web page using flash, the page itself is going to be pretty basic, but the situation I am in is this,  we would like to but a live streaming audio feed on the site and I am having trouble figuring out how to add that.  The server it is from is a Broadwave server, and it does stream in MP3.  I would like the audio stream to start automatically when the web page is open.  Any help would be greatly appriciated.

You could build your own player but if you are new to Flash, you might want to just embed or place on the Web page a prebuilt player. For example:
    http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/jw-flv-player/
    or
    http://flowplayer.org/
    or
    http://ffmp3.sourceforge.net/
each player will have it's own config setup for autoplay etc.
    Best wishes,

  • Stream Live Video + Audio to Apple TV - No Audio

Hello, I am trying to setup an adhoc video conferencing solution
Streaming Live Video + Audio from a lecture theatre to a breakout room in the same building
So far I have tried 3 approaches over Airplay:
1: iPad Air (8.1) (as a camera + microphone) using the built in video app to stream to a Mac Mini (Yosemite), using Reflector
2: iPad Air (8.1) (as a camera + microphone) using the built in video app to stream to an Apple TV
3: Webcam connected to a Mac Mini to stream to an Apple TV
All 3 options show the Video however I can't hear the audio
I know that the audio is working because if I record a clip and play it back you can hear the audio on the TV
Can anybody recommend some software, either for the iPad or the Mac which would allow me to transmit the Video + Audio Live?
My preference is not to use a web based system, so that all data is kept on the local network
Thank you in advance for your help
    Jeremy

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
    Restart your mobile device.

  • Live streaming audio

I'm sure this topic has been discussed several times and I just can't find the answer.  However, I recently purchased a Pre and I cannot listen to any live streaming audio.  Some formats the device won't support and the formats the device will play only plays for 30 seconds.
Post relates to: Pre p100eww (Sprint)

Hi, and welcome to the Palm Support Community.
I haven't tried it yet on my Pre, but it can handle some formats.  I suggest you go to the webOS software board, then use the Search field at the bottom and enter streaming audio.  You'll find several pages of hits including this thread, and links to other sources with lists of stations which work.

  • MSI Media Live No Audio

    MSI Media Live
So got this barebones the other day build it installed xp and wanted to use the HDMI cable for video/audio but I get no audio so i thought i would use a standard vga cable and a digital optical lead for audio and well still no audio lol I've update the Bios and tried all the turn this and that off tricks with no luck. Anyone able to help me?

I only ask, as I wonder if your system is overheating. Although the CPU appears to be compatible, it may not appear on the CPU support list as the heatsink is unable to efficiently cool it. Just a possibility.

  • MSI Media Live - HDMI audio problem

[split off from https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=113127.0 - Stu]
Has anyone gotten this to work? I've got mine to where Vista says I have a HDMI Output device installed and set to be the default device, but it just doesn't play any sound at all.
    I've tried:
    - Latest Realtek HD drivers from MSI's website (R1.67)
    - Latest Realtek HD drivers from Realtek's website (R2.21)
    - Latest BIOS update from MSI website (1.63)
    - Enabling 8 Channel option in BIOS
    - Using HDMI cable and TV port that I know already work (using them for my Xbox 360)
    - Was using Vista 64-bit, now using fresh install of Vista 32-bit (was hoping the problem was driver incompatibility with 64-bit, but I guess I was wrong)

Control Panel > Sound > Playback
So you have Realtek HDMI audio enabled and set as default?
Check in Realtek HD Audio Manager, under HDMI tab, that output is not muted.

  • Is it possible to stream live video & audio from device cameras & mics to a server?

I would like to know if I can use flash builder to stream live video and audio from Android & IOS device cameras and mics to a media streaming server such as Flash Media Server or Wowza? I know the Android & IOS APIs allow for this but can it be done using Flex/Actionscript? The key here is "live" so you wouldn't want to have to wait for video and audio files to complete on the disk before sending it out. Ideally you would send it out via RTMP or HTTP streaming to stream out but any stream would do since once it gets to the server you can encode it.

    Hi
Yes, It's can do but There is a problem on IOS 8 when Switch Camera, Microphone is muted and Sound return when I press home button from my iphone out and press app again for few second
You can use as same as flash desktop video streaming for coding in mobile.
    Good luck

  • IOS RTMP live stream audio

Hi guys hopefully some of you will be able to help me.
I am trying to stream audio from a live RTMP feed using the NetConnection and NetStream classes. I've managed to get my app running no problem on Android, however I am having some major difficulties getting it to play the audio back on iPad. Interestingly it works in the device emulators when debugging, however I'm assuming this is not really an accurate representation. I've tried streaming the RTMP in both AAC and MP3, but with no luck from either. I can verify through debug that it has connected to the stream, however I just get no audio playing.
Everything I've read about seems to suggest that this is possible on IOS as I'm only interested in audio and not video. Can anyone help?
Code sample below (it's quick and dirty! ).

Just an update on this for anyone coming along after me.
I've managed to get this working on MP3 but not AAC (I guess AAC just isn't supported?).
My problem was the buffertime. The docs seemed to indicate it shoudl be set to 0 for live streaming, however switching it to "1" solved my problem on the particular stream I was pointing at.
So essentially justchanged the above line:
                                            ns.bufferTime = 0;
    to
                                            ns.bufferTime = 1;
Would be great to find out if anyone has gotten AAC working however...

  • Live streaming audio/video

I'm looking for advice on how to stream live video, full
screen at high quality 640x480 30 fps. I need to be able to carry
on a teleconference between two instances of the program, but also
support 640x480 at 30 fps. What programs might be needed (encoder?,
    server?)

    Hi tony45371,
The replies from in2mobile are 100% correct.
For live video, some server is required. Flash Media Server
is the required server offered by Adobe (there are competitors
including open source competitors to Flash Media Server). Also an
alternative to putting up your own Flash Media Server, may CDNs
offer Flash Media Server services. You can find a list of CDN
    partners here:
    http://www.adobe.com/products/flashmediaserver/fmsp/
Are your live events webcasts (e.g. 1 presenter, w/ many
attendees)? Or 2-way (e.g. multiple presenters)?
I assume that you require 2-way since your post said "I need
to be able to carry on a teleconference between two instances of
    the program".
Following below are links into the browsable version of the
product documentation (adobe.com/livedocs). Easier to read PDF

(Above link, in the PDF version, is in Chapter 4: Developing

    1-WAY WEBCASTS
For live webcast events, Flash Media Server includes a free
companion program "Flash Media Live Encoder 2.5" (aka FMLE). FMLE

  • Media Encoder not finding "audio capture device"

    Hi,
Im using Adobe Flash Media Encoder with Dxtory for Twitch streaming, and at first it worked fine. Recorded both my mic and game audio perfectly. Then seemingly suddenly, I fired it up  and it wouldn't stream the game audio. It would my Mic, but thats it. I then unplugged the mic and it started saying I had no Audio Capture Device. I checked in Dxtory and its set up the same as it was when it was working. It picks up both the mic and speakers like it should. I have uninstalled this program multiple times, both 3.1 and 3.2 versions, and each time when I re-download it, it loads up the same profile I had before. So when I am uninstalling it, its not uninstalling everything for some reason. Even though the program is no where to be found after its uninstalled. I have downloaded xsplit, and it picks up the game audio and my mic. So its just this program. Anyone have any ideas? I cant seem to find anything online about this issue.
    Thanks!
