Media Encoder CS6 not working with Premiere

Hi
I have been merrily editing a lager job in Adobe Premiere CS6 and then queuing the time lines to export in media encoder CS6 done the entire job everything rendered fine then Bam all of a sudden when I try and render I get all the audio a couple of frames of video then just black!!
I have tried different codecs same result, I have tried different timelines same result, When I export directly out of Premiere without going through Media encoder all works fine, when I try encoding a file directly in media encoder works ok, It just seems to be the link between Premiere and Media encoder that not working as it should
Anyone got any ideas?
Hi Folks
Has no one had an issue exporting to Media encoder from Adobe Premiere CS6?

Any chance this gets fixed soon?  I'm shooting with an AF-100, and at this point I'm still using Final Cut to transcode my footage so I can have audio.  I've also noticed the video jumps around even when it does have audio.  Prelude has been extremely problematic for me, and it doesn't have a way to bring in clips that returned errors upon importing, I have to write down the clip numbers and bring them in individually.  I've also tried just dropping the file structure from the card straight to the hard drive.  It's a huge problem, and is keeping me from making the switch fully from FCP 7.

  • Flash Media Encoder won't work with Stickam solution

Recently, after reloading my computer FME seemed to work fine but did not work with Stickam. I decided to test it on BLOG TV and had to download their XML config file. This corrected the problem.
Stickam offers this same XML config file download in Settings/Broadcast quality.
So, if you are having trouble streaming with FME try downloading your provider's XML Config file. Go to FME File tab and open the profile. This should correct any issues related to FME.
If your provider does not have an XML Config to d/l try someone else's and then change format settings as appropriate and this should correct any issues with FME.

    Gary,
    Thanks for quick response
"First, through IE6, verify your installed version:
    http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about"
Doing this doesn't show installed version, as it does when I
    go there from my laptop.
"Can you get to other sites? If yes, does FP work there? If
you couldn't get to the doc's website at all, it's an IE6 related
    issue, not FP."
Doesn't work at Adobe either. I can get to the doc's website
but his intro page is a flash video. Get black screen and if you
right click it will say "about Flash Player 9" so I know I'm there
and FP is installed and running
"Many things can be the cause, probs w/IE6 (settings),
AV/IS/Spyware/Adware/Popup blockers, etc.. These can also affect
    FP."
I tried checking the IE6 settings per stuff on the forums,
disabled AVG AV and WINXP firewall and none of that helped. Pop-up
    blocker says it isn't on.
"I'm surprised that your desktop XP didn't have any FP.
Usually it does have it, but the older versions don't show up in
the Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs list. They're way down in
    C:/Windows/System32/Macromed/Flash folder."
Didn't look at Control Panel , just that going to web site
    said we needed FP.
"If you can get to the site and ya just can't view flash, try
    these things:
Then, go down to the Flash folder and see what's there. You
should have a FlashUtil9x, a Flash9x.ocx, an uninstall file and
maybe a txt file. While online as an Admn User, dbl click on the
Util9x and a "wizard" panel should appear. Follow the instructions.
Close/restart IE, test (go to the site). If no-go, reboot, go IE6
    and test again.
Yes, this may get you to FP10, but your IE6 and flash will be
    working."
Already did this also, the only "wizard" that comes up either
automatically updates to FP10 or does nothing. In one of your
previous threads you said it would "set" FP. What does that mean
and what screen/button/icon should I be seeing?
Anyway, one of the several times I did it, I let it install
FP10 but it didn't solve the problem.

  • Media Encoder CS6 Not Exporting all Audio Tracks From Premiere

I'm working with DSLR footage, 2 Channels of .WAV audio from an exernal recorder (H4N), and a 1 channel .WAV Music track. 3 Channels total of .Wav audio.
I can export from Premiere Pro CS6 to H.264 just fine, but if I try to send it to Media Encoder, it only track 3, which has the music.
I can't figure out this issue, and haven't found an answer on any forums. This problem effectively makes Media Encoder useless to me, so I would prefer it to be solved, rather than find a work around.
Thanks in advance for your help!
    Mark

I'm having the same problem. But even worst.
For the test, I take a 10 min .mov or mp4 file, simply modify the "scale", and hit the export.
a 10 min file is taking 4 hours to render.
    This is on a:
    2012 MacBookPro i7 2.3Ghz, 16 GB 1600 DDR3, SSD disk. - Mac OSX 10.7.5
    and a:
    2011 iMac i7 3.7Ghz, 16 GB 1333 Mhz, 7200 RPM HD - Mac OSX 10.7.5
The CPU stays at 90% idle the whole time.
I know this is an old thread, but maybe someone could give me a hand.

  • Premiere Pro/Prelude CS6 not working with AVCHD from Canon HF G10

I just tried switching from Final Cut Pro 7/X to Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and have not been able to get Premiere Pro or Prelude to work with AVCHD footage from my Canon HF G10.  The system runs Mac OS X 10.7.4 on a 3.4 GHz quad-core iMac with 16GB of RAM and 10Gbit/s Thunderbolt RAID for video storage.   Adobe Updater ran yesterday and installed CSXS infrastructure updates which did not fix the problems.
After importing several short (less than 5 minutes each) 1080p30 clips into Premiere Pro, I can scrub over the first few seconds of a clip but afterwards it stalls or mixes in frames from the beginning of the clip.    Rendering 30 seconds of video does not complete in reasonable time, i.e. takes more than 5 minutes.   I figured I would try ingest the footage with Prelude and am running into the same problems.   Scrubbing does not work, only the first few seconds from a clip are available.     When configuring Prelude to transcode on ingest, I am getting "Import XMP failed" errors.   I already spent several hours trying to figure this out.   In the meantime, I finished the project using Final Cut Pro X :-\
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Niels.

  • DNxHD not working with Premiere in my PC? Desperate for help!

    Hello all,
So I have 3 questions. I'm absolutely exhausted of trying to figure out which codec to transcode my footage in my PC for AP (I shoot canon 5D, giving me h264 files). I will never edit with h264 (even though AP edit natively), no questions about it!
To make my story short, I migrated from Final Cut Pro in my MAC, to Adobe Premiere in my PC (no more MAC). Reasons are a long story. Anyways, I read all over that the most similar codec to ProRes is DNxHD possible in PC and Adobe Premiere, and Cineform.
    1) Cool, I downloaded DNxHD, and when I go to Media Encoder, it shows something called "dnxhd mxf op1a". When I transcode, it gives me a .mxf file that is unreadable by my pc, and when I drag it into AP, it gives me an error message. What's going on? How come it isn't in .mov?  what should I do then?  I read there is a converter .mxf to .mov, but isn't that process going to downgrade more the quality of my footage? Please help! Which is the workflow then? I read all over that many people edit in AP in PC using DNxHD. How come I can't?
    2) In the research, very frustrated, I read about Cineform codec as a 3rd possibility, which luckily it comes with Adobe for free. I transcoded to that in AME, and it changes the contrast a lot, it washes out the footage looking very bright. Actually h264 looks much better! (how is that possible?) Am I doing something wrong?
    3) Please I would truly appreciate answers and, in that case, step-by-step workflows. Maybe I'm doing something wrong in the process or I'm missing a step, and I need to understand. Please I would truly appreciate any suggestions for transcoding footage in a PC before importing it to Adobe Premiere. This cannot be the end of the road!
    Thanks so very much!
    Elaine.-

    Hi Elaine,
When you said you downloaded DNxHD...did you also actually install it? The "dnxhd mxf op1a" encoding option in AME is already there by default, and is different than the downloaded DNxHD codec, which ought to encode as a .mov file. I don't have access at this moment to check in Premiere, but I'm pretty certain you did NOT encode to the format you thought you did. Once the DNxHD codec is properly installed, it should show up when you choose "QuickTime" as the FORMAT in AME. Then under the VIDEO tab, hit the drop down for CODECS and it ought to appear there as an option. Then you can export the .mov file you wanted to.
EDIT: Verified, I downloaded and installed the Avid codec and DNxHD now appears under "QuickTime" and does render out simply as a .mov file, no fuss
Edit 2: For anyone wanting to try DNxHD for Mac or PC, available at this link, had a hard time finding it - Avid Codecs LE 2.3.9
    Thanks

  • Blackmagic ultra studio sdi not working with Premiere Pro 8cc or A.E.cc(2014)  on win7 GT630m i7 laptop - But works in A.E.cc(12.2.1.5)

There's a problem with the new update, as I no longer can use my BM Ultra Stdio SDI for monitoring. It let me select it but no image just black frame, with the new premiere pro cc 8 or a.e. cc (2014)
But i have No Problem in A.E. cc (12.2.1.5) work find just like it should, So what has happen here ? My system is  Win7 Ultmate Laptop i7 Toshiba Satellite p850, dual gpu's GT630m & Intel HD 4000
With the latest blalckmagic drivers installed (10.1.1) This needs to be looked into, there is no way of monitoring accurately .

Problem Solved! (with a small catch)
While searching crashing issues I came across this thread,"Premiere Pro random crashing since update to 2014.2"
Marc_Lec  Answered (and I paraphrase here)"...I had the same problem and this is what I did. In 'Preferences Memory'  I increased the memory reserved for other application to at least half the installed and changed the optimize render from 'performance' to 'memory."
Thank You Marc_Lec for what has been a game changer for me since my last computer and the beginning of PremiereCC problems.
I changed my Memory reserved for Other Applications from the default 7gigs to 1/2 of my approx.31 available Gigs = 16Gigs. Viola!
    No more crashing what-so-ever!
I still have to purchase an older  GTX 980 graphics card to take advantage of Adobe's approved code to utilize X=Cuda Cores and GPU, but I think I'll hang onto my new TitanX, in hopes that Adobe will write code and approve it someday in the near future.
Now why doesn't Adobe say this officially about Memory Settings? (I don't know maybe they do and I missed I somewhere)
Mine and probably many peoples computers problems here on this board may be attributed to a simple Memory adjustment, because the computer needs more than 7Gigs to run itself, not to mention Premiere.

I updated my Firefox to the latest version 4 yesterday, but since this time seems plugin for Windows Media Player not working anymore. • Media Encoder CS6 Not using all CPU Cores or RAM

I'm currently exporting a 90 second video (using the Vimeo HD 1080p preset), and it is taking about 30 minutes. This is extremely strange as I have an i7-990x OC'ed @4.5, 12GB RAM, SSD, etc.
I looked at Performance tab in Windows Task Manager, and saw 4 threads were not being used at all, only 20-25% of the CPU was in use, and only 6GB out of the 9GB I specified was being used.
Why isn't Media Encoder making full use of my CPU and RAM?

I'm having the same problem. But even worst.

  • Photoshop CS6 Not Working with OS Mavericks

I can't get photoshop cs6 to behave properly now that I've upgraded to OS Mavericks.  For that matter - I can't get InDesign or Illustrator CS6 to behave properly either.
When I use the File Open, File Save, and File Save As commands I immediately get the pinwheel that spins without end.  It doesn't matter if I use a shortcut key or a the pull-down menu.  I never get to a dialogue box.  The pinwheel immediately appears after "Comm + O."
I've searched the forums and can't find a solution that works.
    I've tried the following:
Removed all copies of CS5.1, CS5.5, and CS6.  Reinstalled all CS6 apps.
Updated all CS6 apps to the latest version
Verified that I'm running the latest approved Apple Java from Apple
    Updated my Wacom Drivers
Performed a repair permissions through Disk Utility
Unchecked "Displays have separate spaces" in Mission Control
    Rebooted several times
    Nothing has worked.  Any ideas?
I'm considering using Time Machine and and reverting my OS.
    FYI -  2 x 2.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon Mac Pro

You (or TimeMachine) didn't restore all the files correctly, and it is crashing because the library cannot be loaded.
Your best bet is to reinstall Photoshop, and let Apple know that TimeMachine is not restoring applications/libraries/frameworks correctly.
