Media Encoder.exe Download

Hello. I have a big problem. I downloaded After Effects CC2014 and with that Media Encoder CC 2014...for testing. Now a problem with my computer forced me to make a system reset to a day before...when i done that, after effects and media encoder still were installed, but the .exe of both programs were lost somehow...I could deinstall after effects but could noch the media encoder with my windows 8.1...so Adobe downloader also thinks, I have still installed Media encoder even I deleted the whole media encoder libary...what else must I delete so that I can download it again?
Sorry for my bad English...Im from Germany!

Run the cleaner tool and reinstall everything properly.

  • Help finding Media Encoder CC download

I can not find a download icon for Media Encoder CC. I am a complete CC member, and it doesn't show up in my application manager. I have tried searching through the site and google for any sort of link. I come up empty. Any help would be appreciated.

AME is installed along with Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Flash. It's not listed separately.

  • Media Encoder cs6 download?

Flash typically comes with media encoder but my download of Flash CS 6 did not install CS6 media Encoder and I need it to create an flv file since Adobe stupidly deprecated the format in subsequent versions of Media Encoder. All links I've found so far tell me I can not install the Media encoder because all I seem to be able to find is updates.
Here's the link i find on the site: Adobe - Adobe Media Encoder : For Windows : Adobe Media Encoder CS6.0.1 for Windows 64-bit
Anyone know where the original installer is?

there is no stand-alone ame installer.
reinstall your flash cs6 to reinstall ame cs6.

  • Media encoder wont download

im trying to download media encoder cc but it just stops and says that there is an error what do i do?

Try downloading the offline installer from http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-2014-direct-download-links.html
Make sure you follow the Very Important Instructions on that page.

  • Media Encoder will download update but then fail

I get a push notification by Creative Cloud on my 13" MacBook Pro late 2013 and the update will reach 100% then "fail". When it gives an option to "Learn More" it just open finder with many application files.

Media encoder update fail do you receive any specific error messages?  If not then I would recommend reviewing the installation log file for the exact error message.  You can find details on how to locate and interpret the installation log files at Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html.  You are welcome to post any specific errors you discover to this discussion.

  • Adobe Media Encoder Appcrash in MSVCR90.DLL upon exit

    Hello folks,
I didn’t see a forum for Adobe Media Encoder (hereafter referred to as AME), but since we are using AME hand-in-hand with Premiere, I thought I would post this here to see if anyone had any insight to why this is happening. Thank you in advance if you can help me figure this out; I truly appreciate any and all assistance!
I am the computer lab manager for the visual arts department at a community college. We teach video production courses in which we capture audio and video footage into Premiere CS5 and then export that footage to AME CS5. We do this on PC hardware (Dell Optiplex 755 and 780 units) running Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit.
The way that I configure the master image is to install all software (the Adobe Master Collection) under the administrator account, configure settings within the programs (an example, though it is not related to this, just to give you an idea as to what I do to configure the master image – since our PCs have 2 hard drives, I launch Photoshop and change the scratch disk setting to point to the second drive) and then copy the local admin profile over to the default user profile within Windows so that all students get the same settings configured the way we want it.
Now, before I copy the profile over, I test the system thoroughly to make sure that everything is working as it should. AME functions fine prior to the profile copy. However, once I copy the profile over, and I use Sysprep for this because it is the only Microsoft supported solution for profile copying in Windows 7 that I know of, everything functions perfectly except when you go to close AME, it throws this error:
    Problem signature:

I am assuming that Sysprep resets something when it copies the profile because I can log in as the Administrator during the testing phase and this does not happen. Once I sysprep and log in as Administrator again post-sysprep, this happens not only under Administrator, but under every other account that I log in as, both local and domain, and both with admin and non-admin privileges.
I ran the Adobe Updates to no avail. No matter what, this keeps happening.
This is a minor issue as everything does work, it is just that I am getting complaints from students and instructors that this is happening. Again, thank you in advance for your help. I appreciate it wholeheartedly.

In the past (I do not know if that still applies today) there were problems with the Microsoft Visual C++ libraries that could be solved by downloading and installing the relevant DLL's from the Microsoft website. Beware, there are numerous files and you have to take care to download and install the version for your OS. Adobe tried to alleviate that problem, but may not have solved all the issues. It is worth a try.

What is your exact brand/model graphics adapter (ATI or nVidia or ???)
What is your exact graphics adapter driver version?
Have you gone to the vendor web site to check for a newer driver?
For Windows, do NOT rely on Windows Update to have current driver information
-you need to go direct to the vendor web site and check updates for yourself
    ATI Driver Autodetect http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/auto-detect-tool
    nVidia Driver Downloads http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
Do you have dual graphics adapters?
Go to the Windows Control Panel and select Hardware and Sound and then select Device Manager... In Device manager you click the + sign to the left of Display Adapters... and see if 2 are listed

  • Media Encoder From AP-Pro not working

    Hi,
I'm trying to export a premiere pro file, I go through the "export settings" like normal and then "ok", it goes to "exporting data" but then doesn't go anywhere.
Normally it should access the "Adobe Media Encoder" but it does nothing. When I try to access "Adobe media encoder from the programs it comes up with the error message:
"Adobe Media Encoder.exe - Entry Point Not Found" - "The procedure entry point ??0NewHandlerInitializer@ErrorManager@config@@QAE@XZ could not be located in the dynamic link library dvacore.dll".
So I'm guessing it needs reinstalling but where do I get it from? It is not in the Premiere setup files and it's not on the adobe website, only the updates are.
    I'm using Windows XP and AP-Pro CS4
    Regards,

Just had the same problem. I have had cs2 cs3 and cs4 on the same PC Windows XP Pro.
The exact error message as the o.p. was appearing during export from Premier and when opening Encore.
I was able to resolve this issue after weeks by simply ...
Close all Adobe programs and restart computer.
    Go to Windows>Control Panel>Adobe Version Cue CS4
Adobe Version Cue Server window will appear.
Make sure your firewall is not blocking Version Cue or Adobe Updater.
    Click Updates tab.
    Click "Check for Updates" button.
Adobe Updater will connect with the update server. Click Details.
Checkmark Media Encoder and Photoshop Media Encoder.
Download the latest Adobe Media Encoder updates.
Im finally encoding right now so Im not stopping to look at the update version, lol. but my current version of Media Encoder is now 4.2.0.006

  • Export causes "Media Encoder update is available", though already updated

Summary: Export from within Premiere Pro CS5 ver 5.0.2 produces the dialog "Media Encoder update is available", even though the updater has already been run without error and reports "no updates available". Media Encoder version is 5.0.1. The export itself runs OK after dismissing the dialog.
Details: I updated Premiere Pro CS5 Production Premium from 5.0.1 to 5.0.2, using Adobe Updater. Running updater again (from either Premiere Pro or Media Encoder) produces a dialog:
Adobe Applications Manager: "Your applications are all up-to-date."
However each time I try to export a video (AVCHD 1080i/30 from Canon HF100), Premiere Pro gives this dialog:
    Dialog: Adobe Premiere Pro
"An Adobe Media Encoder update is available for this version of Pemiere Pro. To download the latest update, please run the Adobe Updater from the Help menu or visit http://www.adobe.com/go/updates"
    Media Encoder help/about says: Version 5.0.1.0 (64-bit)
Adobe Production Premium CS5, updated to 5.0.2

Thank you for your patience and feedback as well as installation info.
We are still looking into this issue, but we do have a solution for you.
To solve this issue, you can put a shortcut of AME application in PPro folder and then PPro can find AME and launch it without errors reported in this thread.  Follow these steps:
    1.       Using Explorer, go to the folder
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder CS5\
    2.       In that folder, you should find the AME application called
“Adobe Media Encoder” or “Adobe Media Encoder.exe”
    3.       Right click on that file and select “Create Shortcut”.
A shortcut of that file will be placed in the same folder.
The shortcut file will be called “Shortcut to Adobe Media Encoder.exe”
    4.       Copy the shortcut to your PPro folder.
Most users who have this issue have installed PPro to a different folder rather than the default installation location.  Example: copy the above shortcut you created to E:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CS5\
    5.       Rename the shortcut from “Shortcut to Adobe Media Encoder.exe” to “Adobe Media Encoder”.  If you have elected to show the file extension, it may have .lnk at the end of the file which should remain.
    6.       If PPro is open, close it and re-launch it.  You should now be able to launch AME from within PPro without an update reminder or other errors.
    That should do it.
Please do let us know if this solution does or does not work for you.

  • Media Encoder will not open in windows 7

I had a lot of problems with Premiere Pro CS4 after I loaded it on my new system with Windows 7.
After I got it working I just burned Blue-Ray using Encore and that worked OK.
I'm using Windows 7 with the lastest updates and my computer has all the latest drivers.
Today I have  been trying to save a AVI file to disk using Media Encoder. When I export the timeline to create a AVI I get:

Thank you for any help anybody are able to provide.

What other programs/Processes do you have running? With memory address errors, one of the first places to check is whether you have some Process, that might be reporting its memory addresses to the OS incorrectly, or is telling the OS that it has released addresses, when it has not. MSCONFIG, or Task Manager>Processes can tell you, as can ProcessExplorer. Not sure where these utilities might reside in Win7, or if their names might have changed.
Now, with that WatchFolder.dll, it could be that it has also become corrupted. If that is the case, then perhaps a Repair Install will fix/replace it. I do not have CS4, hence this question: is that a .dll from AME? Others will know this off the top of their heads, but I do not. Thanks.
    Good luck,

  • Adobe Media Encoder CC 7.2.0.43 still crashes after beginning of encoding - bugs for months now!

Adobe Media Encoder CC 7.2.0.43 is still crashing after beginning of encoding! In my case this bug exists for months now and Adobe is not able to get rid of its own programming faults! The user pays a lot of money for the license and doesn't get a functioning software! I spent days to get a solution now, but NOTHING of your suggested help works!
This is my 'support' history beginning in AUGUST (!):
    Sent: Thursday, August 15, 2013 ...
    Subject: Bug Report
    Product: Adobe Media Encoder
    Product Version: CC
    Operating System : Windows 7
    OS version: Service P1
Concise problem statement: Steps to reproduce bug:
    1. Go to Premiere Media Export
    2. Stating Media Export Parameters for ME
    3. Starting ME
    4. Define video title and path
    5. Start Media Encoder CC rendering
    6. ME states 'Preview not available'
    7. Rendering aborts after about 15 sec.
    8. Media Encoder CC crashes, no matter which kind of video! Every time.
    9. Direct 'Export' from Premiere CC is possible with all the same parameters, but CC AME crashes!
    10. Also installed Premiere CS 6 Media Encoder WORKS without any problems, but not the CC Media Encoder!!
Expected results: Media Encoder CC WORKING. This is still my expected result as a paying customer!
My steps to solve these problems (with Adobe's help) were / are:
    - Cleant every suggested media cashes.
    - Tried to render the sequences also without audio.
    - Tried to render as one pass.
    - Even if I try just to export ONE simple standard SONY PMW EX1 mp4 file which should never cause problems it chrashes, also without audio.
    - Also if I clean all preferences and caches before, EVERY file type crashes, no matter if I try to export a video or a still picture.
    - This is not happening in Adobe AME CS6 with the same files, but in CC!! CS6 still renders reliably with preview, but CC crashes without being able to show any preview.
    - Held the Shift key down while starting AME. This should reset preferences and so on...
    - Deleted suggested "7.0" directories as described in other forum posts concerning this topic.
    - Logged out of my CC account.
    - Deinstalled and reinstalled PPro, After Effects, InDesign, Flash, using Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. All is the newest version 7.2.
    - Set GPU renderer to "Software Only".  Some video cards have issues when GPU is set to "OpenCL" or "CUDA".
    - Checked updates available for video driver. Latest is installed.
    - Turned off "Enable Native Premiere Pro sequence import" in AME prefs.
    - AMEEncodingErrorLog.txt doesn't have any content, not a single line.
    NOTHING WORKED OR HELPED!

  • Media encoder version 4.20.006 does not open

I finished editing a program on Premier pro CS4 version 4.21 with a resolution of 1920 X 1080 60i . The images are from a Sony EX1 camera. I needed to export this edit to a 4:3 Avid edting suite and so I chiose first in Quick Time. When I finished I chose .avi with a crop 4:3 720 X 480 .
When I used Fie/ Export /media a media settings display appeared. When I checked the setting I pushed th OK button and the the media encoder started to open, the display did not show completely and a Microsofy error display came out. I agreed to send the information about the problem and the media encoder started to open again and the same problem.
I close Premiere and tried to start media encoder by itlsef... the same happend.

I went to the Microsoft page and it states that they have no idea of the problem. I tried to contact suppot by Adobe and what I get is the FAQ.
I reinstalled all again ) Premiere Pro CS 4 and added the 4.21 upgrade and also the 4.20 Media encoder upgrade.
The results that I am showing are afyert I did all the reinstalltion.
Please help on this matter because I cannot export anything

I found the answer in the Adobe document
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/405/kb405950.html
This document shows the case of the many errores I suffered with Premiere Pro CS4. But my real problem was Media Encoder CS4 . Well I started to use the same steps of this article .
    Step 5 does not apply.
Step 6 applies only in step 2. "Rename the 4.0 folder (for example, to Old 4.0) in C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Application Data\Adobe\Premiere Pro. " There you look for Media Encoder and rename the 4.0 folder.
When you open again Media Encoder, it creates anew folder and PRESTO !!!
    It works again !!!

  • Media Encoder Will Not Launch - MSVCR110.dll

Since I'm not getting any help in the Premiere Forum, I'm re-posting this here....
After installing updates to both MS and Adobe CC this morning, I cannot get the Media encoder to launch. However After Effects launches just fine. Premiere crashes during the splash screen but the error is different.
Media encoder doesn't even make it to the splash screen.

    Hi ELFrederick,

Nevermind, I got it working last night by uninstalling the programs that Patch Tuesday broke. Premiere, Media Encoder, and I found out that Prelude wasn't working either.
All working now after an uninstall, reboot, and reinstall. The patches also reset my creative cloud folder from it's custom location to default.location, and I have to move it back to the other location. My SSD is smallish and I didn't want the data files there, just the OS and the program files.
Good to know. Thanks for reporting back!

  • CC Media Encoder crashes constantly

    Hi all
My media encoder only works if I choose EXPORT rather than QUEUE. No matter what sequence type or file to export, it crashes. Even if I run ME without going through Premiere it still crashes. I udgraded from CS6 and uninstalled that. I believe ME was working before uninstalling CS6.
    Am running Win 7 Sp1
    HP Z800 12 g ram 2.66 Intel
NVIDIA GTX 470 using Mecury Playback
All drivers and software are most current updates
Tried test files such as countdown leader, color bars and still crashes.

Could you try holding Shift key and launch?  Does it help?  This resets the preferences settings and helps in some cases.
