Media Encoder not installing in Adobe Cloud.

Hello, recently I've been having frequent errors with Premiere so I decided to re-install threw the Adobe Cloud service. I uninstalled Premiere via the uninstaller in the programs folder. Media Encoder did not have an unistaller, so I deleted the media encoder folder within "Applications"
Now when I install "Premiere Pro CS6 Family" in Adobe Cloud the Media Encoder is not installed?! I've tried this serveral times now, any reason this is happening and how I can fix?

The cleaner tool should help you.
Uninstall CS6 programs, run the script from http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html and then reinstall Premiere.

  • MPEG-2 codecs missing from Adobe Media Encoder CS6 installed with Creative Cloud Membership

Some people who have downloaded Adobe Media Encoder with Premiere Pro CS6 as part of a Creative Cloud Membership subscription have a problem in which the MPEG2, MPEG2-DVD, MPEG2-Blu-ray, Dolby Digital, & MXF OP1a codecs are missing.
To fix this issue, install the Adobe Media Encoder CS6 (6.0.1) update. Choose Help > Updates to install the update.

It's true. We reached the conclusion that the version CS6 is inferior, a step back,  than 5 or 5.5. What's good about it, is the Audution CS6, which is a great replacement for the flawed Audition CS5 accompanying Suite 5.5. You can almost forget the Soundbooth ... Soundbooth ... hmmm, better not comment, but anyway, the most polite thing that i can say it, is that it is a demonstration of how a company decides that its users are not able to think and not able to learn or understants anything. Anything else that i want to say about Soundbooth can not be written here ....
Adobe has demonstrates this development cicle along all this years. The products takes an uphill curve of development, and suddenly, goes back, showing wrong decisions was taken. So after some time , the products starts to evolve again . CS6 shows this stop evolving point. Now we have to wait untill new uphill curve of development starts again.
Well, but like their predecessors AA CS6 still not are good enough to dispense Audition 3, but it is a good outcome for the Suite CS5.5 Audition at least was a sign of improvement in this Creative Suite CS6
Many of the features and effects that have been deliberately taken out of version 5, now returned in 6, (some) showing that at Adobe at least recognizes when misses badly. But the optimal effects panel of AA3 did not return, some effects of AA3 as fade in and fade out did not come back in AA 6, the optimum VST support of AA3 to not are present in AA6 like many VST we have here that was expensive, you do not work in 6, thus, by these and other reasons we can still not dispense AA3.
Maybe in CS7 we users cam be satisfied.

  • Help! Adobe Media Encoder disappeared from my Creative Cloud

    2 issues.
#1. Was using Adobe Media Encoder (part of my creative cloud subscription) .. it kept saying i needed to activate it all of a sudden.. so (am on a mac) dragged it to trash, and went to adobe application manager to re-install, all of a sudden, it's not there. So then went to online https://creative.adobe.com/apps to download it.. it's not there either! What do I do?
#2. ADOBE YOUR ONLINE SUPPORT SUCKS. I contacted these online chat people in India 3 times and each time they disconnected me or screwed it up. WTF. seriously. You have officially gone down in terms of reputation with me.
    Please help.
As per the support issue, i'll deal with some Adobe Exec separately for that.
    thanks

Why would you trash your application?  Dragging apps to the Trash doesn't activate, de-activate or uninstall the software.
Media Encoder is not a separate software download.  Like Bridge, it comes bundled with other software like Flash Pro, Premier, After Effects....

    Hello, Adobe?

  • Adobe Media Encoder not launching when I clicked queue in Export Media

    Hi guys,
I have been trying for about 3 weeks now trying to render my work using Adobe Media Encoder but it just won't launch as mentioend in my subject line. Upon clicking on queue, the animation showing "preparing data for export" and "exporting data" appeared and disappeared and then nothing happens. Resuming to work on my project in Premiere Pro becomes impossible and a semi-transparent white screen appears over Premiere Pro and it hangs with a message from Windows 7 appearing saying that Premiere Pro has stopped responding.
Here are a few things that I have tried:
Updating all of my softwares included in the Production Premium Suite CS5.5
Deleting all files in the folder C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder\5.5
Pressing Ctrl + Alt +Shift and launching Premiere Pro
Pressing Ctrl + Alt +Shift and launching Adobe Media Encoder
Opening sequence in Adobe Media Encoder to try to render
Called up Adobe Asia Pacific only to be told that I will charged something like USD$39 if they were to help me
    Disabling Mercury Engine Playback capability
The only work around I'm doing now is to copy the files to another computer and rendering from there.
Can anyone else suggest another way or point me in the right direction please?
My com's specs are as follow:
Windows 7 Premium 64-bit Operating System
    16Gb RAM
Intel Core i7 CPU [email protected]
    System type: 64-bit Operating System
    Display Adapter: nVidia GeForce GTX560Ti
    Many thanks people.

The X58 platform uses triple channel memory mode if you use 3 or 6 memory sticks, but if you use 4 slots, memory will only be used in single or dual channel mode, depending on which slots are occupied. Amount of memory has more impact than the mode used, but you may get better performance from 24 GB (6 x 4 GB).
However, I don't think that will solve your issue. Having only two disks is minimum. Adding a disk can certainly help, see Adobe Forums: Generic Guideline for Disk Setup
Have you turned of indexing and compression on both disks, have you uninstalled the sidebar, MSN and games? Have you disabled unneeded services, etc.?
It says Vista but also applies to Win7: Adobe Forums: Guide for installing and tuning a Vista...
DSLR material is usually HD, but .VOB files are SD, so there is a lot of scaling going on when exporting. Make sure you have enabled hardware MPE. Also have a look at Adobe Forums: System requirements for CS5

You won't be able to install your original Acrobat 7 at all, or use your original serial number. The server which used to allow this was switched off.
But assuming you have a compatible system, like Mac OS 5 or Windows XP, licensed users of Acrobat 7 can download a replacement and get a replacement serial number.

  • Why can't i find adobe media encoder in apps in creative cloud

I just purchased the creative cloud suite and I found all the apps I need except for media encoder - any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    -   Deactivate PPro and other apps through Help -> Sign out (this way you don't lose your license)
    -   Uninstall PPro, AE, InDesign, and Flash Pro
    -   Run the CC Cleaner Tool (find it here: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html)
    -   Install PPro again.
Refer to : I am trying to download media encoder 6 for creative cloud for teams? Not on product list.
Re: Can't reinstall media encoder CC (Windows)
    Hope this helps you.

  • Adobe Flash Media Encoder not detecting internal camera

I'm running OS X 10.8.5 and it won't detect the camera. I've installed the latest update from Apple that's suppose to address this error. After installing the new update I reinstalled Adobe Flash Media Encoder and it still doesn't work. The camera is also not being detecting on Skype. Reisntalled this as well. Anyone running into the same problems post update?

Verify that you are using the latest Flash version that works with you system:
          http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
If you need to update, use your Mac's Disk Utility to repair permissions.
    Then follow Adobe's instructions here:
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/908/cpsid_90893.html
Be sure to uninstall your current Flash player before installing the new one.
Repair permissions again immediately following installation of the updated Flash player.
Be aware that the current Flash Player Preferences can be configured to block your camera in your Mountain Lion Mac's System Preferences.  However, you still configure Flash settings as shown here: http://tinyurl.com/5kjv3

  • Adobe media encoder not available in Photoshop CC - attempting to render animation.

I just downloaded CC about a week ago. I'm running it on a 32 bit Windows 8 PC. I've been trying to export video but the adobe media encoder is gray and unavailable. I can't find any support on this issue. I purchased the photography plan as all I needed was Photoshop. Anyone know what to do? When I try downloading the media encoder from the adobe website, nothing happens.

Unfortunately, video features are not supported for photoshoop cc and cc 2014 on windows 32 bit operating systems.

  • AppV - Adobe Media Encoder not in default location?

I'm virtualizing Adobe Captivate 5, which includes Adobe Media Encoder. During virtualization, when I launch AME, I get a message:
Adobe Media Encoder is not being run from the default installation location. This is not a supported configuration."
I never changed the installation location for Captivate... it's going to wherever Adobe has it set to go.
After I hit OK (that's my only choice, no "Don't show me this message again") the app seems to be OK... so if there's a way to change a registry key or something and just get rid of that message, that would probably be fine.

Unfortunately, video features are not supported for photoshoop cc and cc 2014 on windows 32 bit operating systems.

  • Adobe Media Encoder not working

When I opened the Adobe Media Encoder, the "Start Queue" button is gray (it can't be clicked). There is also an error message that says fireworks.mov (the file I was trying to open) could not be imported by Adobe Media Encoder. Also, DivX appears as the file icon. Could this have anything to do with it? Does anyone have suggestions?
    Thanks,

  • Adobe Media Encoder - not encoding entire video

    Hi,
I'm runining CS4 Design Premium on a Windows XP machine. I'm trying to convert an .avi to .flv, but Adobe Media Encoder is only converting the first few minutes of the video. Is there a file size limit for the source media? My .avi is pretty huge, almost 2 GB. Could that be the problem?
    Thanks!

I'd ask you to post in the Adobe Media Encoder forum, but I cannot find one :-( Perhaps the After Effects forum or Premiere forum will know an answer or where to look. People here are not likely to have an answer.

  • Adobe Media Encoder Not Working - Please help

    Hi,
Whenever I try and export a video in premiere pro it makes no difference what settings I choose in the Adobe Media Encoder as the video always comes out the same size. When I first tried it I exported it as a 400kbps flash file, but that was taking too long to buffer, so I want to reduce the kpbs. I adjust the bitrate in the encoder, save the settings and everything looks like it's working but no matter what I do the video always comes out the same size. I have tried opening and closing Premiere Pro, even exporting the video as avi and then bringing it back into premiere pro to encode but no joy.
Also, in the encoder it always says "estimated file size 35mb or so but comes out the other end about 10 times that.
Its getting really, really annoying so any help would be very much appreciated.
    A

Hi, many thanks for your replies.
The work area that I wish to export is 15 minutes and 38 seconds so relatively short.
I always let it finish encoding and they are all around 250MBs when this is finished.
These are the steps I am taking:
    1. Menu>Export>Adobe Encoder
    2. Change setting to custom and set the bit rate at 300 kpbs, Framerate 25, Keyframe interval 1, Codec On2 VP6, Audio 32kbps Mono
    3. I then save this preset
    4. I then click the Deinterlace button on the Output tab
    5. I then click OK and save it to my external hardrive
    6. Once it is finished encoding - whatever settings I have selected - it always comes out around 250 MBs which is far too big as it takes ages to buffer
If you can help you are a lifesaver!
    Thanks

  • Adobe Media Encoder not loading any videos from Youtube.

Some HQ videos I downloaded from Youtube and put into Media Encoder doesn't work.  I have the option of downloading an HD .mp4 or .flv.
For the .mp4s, when I put it into the Encoder the preview and output are both completely black.  When I encode I just get nothing but audio and it's about 4MB.
For the .flvs when I try to load it simply says it can't load.   The lower quality .flv works though.
My primary concern is getting the .mp4 to work.  Not entirely interested in the .flv.  I'm using Windows 7 64-bit.
    Help?

After playing Youtube go to your temp internet
files and copy the file to HDD which is a mp4.
Add this to the Media Encoder and see if it will work now.
If it still does not work, your ME is prob. not working right.
I sometimes use AME as a converter and it handles mp4 just fine.
