I have partitioned my time capsule, as I want part of it to act as a media server for both mac and windows. However I don't know what format that I need to partition it to. I also can't make it a permanently accesible drive. I want to restore the drive to the original format (which I don't know) and start again and re-partition the drive in a format that can be used for media by both mac and PC and for time machine back-ups and make the media part of it permanetly accesible so I can add and acccess my files.

You are mixing up a couple of things here.
The TC drive cannot be partitioned without removing it.. did you do that?
If you partition it you must use a Mac disk utility and use the HFS+ ie standard Mac format. And GUID partition table not windows type.
You can select erase disk in the airport utility.. that will take the disk back to original format. No partitions. TC is deliberately not partitioned as it is not a media server.. it is a backup device for TM. Over time .. the disk will be filled with TM backups so you have a long history of file changes to your computer.
There is no media server in the TC.. it is merely disk storage.. you can serve files from it to a media device.. but the TC itself is dumb as dumb.
Now the actual format of the drive is irrelevant to the PC.. The TC offers SMB file services to the network. You can copy files to and from the TC as if it was a local disk without caring one iota about the format. The TC handles that .. it is not a local disk .. it is a network drive.
Although you cannot partition the TC. you can still copy files to it.. this does have implications for TM.. but as long as there is plenty of free space should not be a major issue.
You can create a disk image via the disk utility in a Mac.. and as stated you can create partitions if you do it on a Mac with the disk directly connected which means breaking warranty if any exists on the TC.

No. You cannot download or install anything to iphone, unless it is offered in the App Store on itunes.
Adobe does not make a flash player for iphone.

Flash Media Server for iPhone

Hi,
I am developing an app for iPhone/iPad. The client wants to show some realtime data in the app. Something like a chat application, where even if users don't do anything (flash uses no event), they can see what other users are doing in realtime.
I went through adobe site to see Flash media Server for mobile device. But I am confused on which version of the server should suit the type of app I am developing.

I'm more or less in the same boat. I've got the admin console
up. I am able to run the vodtest application locally pointing the
video file to rtmp://localhost/vod/sample.flv or using the server
name instead of localhost as in rtmp://mclmedia/vod/sample.flv
I can also load the html and swf file to my xp machine that
has access to the server via our internal network. (DNS isn't
configured yet) But the connectionFailed message appears when I try
to call the videos using rtmp://mclmedia/vod/sample.flv

Same Query for both Main and Sub Report

I have a report whichs works but I don't think i'm getting the data to both the Main Report and Sub Report in the most effcient manner... I have a report that totals users call subject counts. But then end user wishes to see all users total counts and the grand totals of call counts on the first page then then the breakdown of types of calls on subsuquent pages... so I created a report with a subreport in the report header.... I use the same query in both the sub and main report... however it asks the user to enter the parameters once for the main report and once for the sub report... Parameters are both the same for each; month and year... so it currently runs the query twice I want to run it once and use the data for both reports... I group by name and then sum the call subject counts for the user totals... and in the sub report I hide the detail section and I'm just left with the sub total line for each user, then in the main report use the same grouping and suming again and I start a new page for every user...

i think you need to link the main report parameter with the subreport parameters inorder to pass the parameter values from main report to subreport. So right click on subreport and go to change subreport links and add parameter fields and select parameter fields from your subreport and un check the databse fields in subreport.

I need to create three measure to get value of min, max and avg.
For example, I have 3 columns in my table. I need to take minimum value of Column3 based on column2. If column2 value is 0, then we have to consider entire table data else only we have to consider

I need to take minimum,maximun and avg value of Column3 based on column2. If column2 value is 0, then we have to consider entire table data. IF column2 value is 1, then only we have to consider the row of column2=1.

Query for oracle 9i and 10g on same box

I have oracle 9i installed on one box it has
oracle home /u01/app/oracle/product/9.2.0
and i am gonna install oracle 10g on different home /u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0
Do I need to specify different location for OraInventory?
so what else I need to take care?

So there should not be a problem if it is the same
orainventory location for both 9i and 10g right.There should be no problem.
can you throw more focus on below ?
When managing different oracle versions on the same
box you should take care of environment variables to
properly point to each ORACLE HOME and PATH, and
ensure different ports do not conflict.
For instance, you should use the Listener of the latest release on the server (in this case 10g) to services all the databases on that box 9both 9i and 10g).
When you want to startup and shutdown 9i database, you do not want to shutdown a 10g database by mistake. Hence, setting things like ORCLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID.
Also, Oracle Server make use of libraries. You do not want to mix up 9i and 10g libraries. hence take care when you set things like PATH, LD_LIBRARY_PATH etc
The same applies to all Environment variables you want to set on the server that has different oracle releases. You just need to ensure that when you logon, your variables are set correctly for the intended oracle release before you do anything.

Realplayer or Windows Media Player for iPhone

iphone is working fine for listening to programs that are podcast, but a lot of the stuff i want to hear is only available on realplayer or windows media player. don't really want to sit at my computer and listen to it, would rather do it at work where wifi is available and can use the iphone, but these players are not supported. is there any news on when this might become available, or if apple is even working on this at all? if not, is there any way to save that kind of file in itunes and then get it onto the iphone. sorry if my tech-talk stinks

No way to know, though a RM or WM player would require Real and Microsoft to program one.
There is a chance this will happen with the SDK coming in Feb.
Those files can be converted to an iPhone format (ie Quicktime) providing you have a converter and there are no DRM restrictions in place in the file.

Real Player or Windows Media Player for iPhone

Does anyone know if it is possible to download an application which will allow me to play Real Player or Windows Media Player files from Safari on the iPhone?

Until the 2.0 software is released, it's not possible to download an application to your iPhone at all. Once the new software is out, it might be possible, but it will be up to Real, Microsoft or a third-party to develop such a player. I think the likelihood that Real or Microsoft will pony up to be very low. Whether someone else will, we'll have to wait and see.

Hi Ash,
There are some issues that must be defined before you have the exact query.
Do you have freight charges or non-inclusive tax? If you have, freight charges and tax amounts must be included?
Depending on you grouping rule, you can have lines from more than one order in a single invoice. In this case, as invoice amount you want the sum of all lines, or only the lines from that order?
Below is an example using two views. It assumes that grouping rules split lines from different order into different invoices.

Hi Ash,
Table RA_CUSTOMER_TRX_ALL can be joined to RA_CUSTOMER_TRX_LINES_ALL table through CUSTOMER_TRX_ID column. The table RA_CUSTOMER_TRX_LINES_ALL.INTERFACE_LINE_ATTRIBUTE6 = OE_ORDER_LINES_ALL.LINE_ID. And from the LineId, you can get the HeaderId os the OE_ORDER_HEADERS_ALL table.
You must have visualized the query by now.
