Media Question Again, Help Wanted
I Have DVD-R/RW media that I intend to use to record portions of a 3 hr movie to evaluate PQ, using a PLEXTOR external burner. How do I erase the DVD, for re-use ??

Toast has the ability to erase CD-RWs. Perhaps it can do the same for DVDs?

Ta {:O)Sony and TDK discs have worked the best for me. FujiFilm would only burn at 2X. Pricewise, I don't know if there are Best Buy's or Circuit City's in the UK, but every few weeks Sony DVD-R's go on sale for half price ($19.00 for 50). Beware of generic DVD-R's because sometimes they won't burn at top speed!

ITunes\iTunes Media vs. iTunes\iTunes Media\Music directories Help Wanted
I think I somehow have dupicate files or libraries. Here are two listings for the same song. In iTunes I only see the song once but in Media Monkey it tells me I have two versions of the song.

If you have upgraded from version 8 (or earlier) to iTunes 9 (or later) at some point, then your media folder (everything inside the red outline) may still be called *iTunes Music* instead of *iTunes Media*. The extra Music folder inside the media folder is used if you have allowed iTunes to *Upgrade to iTunes Media Organization*. Depending on your choices for *Keep iTunes Media folder organized* and *Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library* plus a little bug in which one build changed the name of the file storing the choice of layout it is quite easy for some of your files to be organized according to one layout and some the other.
Your description suggests there are two copies of the file, one of which iTunes knows about and other which it doesn't You can find out which it is by looking at the file location given on the summary tab if you get info. on the file. You can safely delete any unwanted duplicates files that aren't connected to iTunes.

after clicking "yes" to the question "do you want to update itunes now", i waited 2 hours and 15 minutes and it was still "loading". i turned computer off thinking something was wrong. now itunes won't open at all. do i need to download itunes again?
Did you actually download the installer from Apple or did you use Software Update. You can download the installer http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Maybe I'm old fashioned but I would consider repairing permissions first using Disk Utility because something caused this to go wrong the first time. And of course make a backup of your whole library first. It shouldn't happen but some have complained about their libraries being wiped out by iTunes updates. Better safe... -

If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact AppleCare, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do. -

Cannot answer security questions! Help!!
So I have an Apple ID that has been signed in into the App Store on my iPad. There hasn't been a credit card associated with my account, but I have been able to buy free apps. Recently I tried to add a $15 iTunes gift card into the account and I did so. My account currently has $15. (Yay!) But to actually buy apps, I have to answer/verify my security questions first. I've tried to answer them but after multiple tries, I get locked out of my Apple ID. I've done this twice now... I've read that to change the questions you must answer them! D: I have also read that if you have a recovery email you can change it there but I don't have a recovery email... Noooo...

-Currently locked out of my account. T^T Another 7 more hours to wait.
-I know the password to my Apple ID but I'm UNABLE to sign into appleid.apple.com. I think it might be the fact that I'm locked out of my account because I was able to sign in before the lock out.
-I think it's best that I call Apple Support. But, for them to reset it (Also read this from another discussion.. I've so many already >.<) I must be able to answer at least one of the questions. Not sure if I can do that.
-Tried to answer the questions through "Reset my password" and after clicking the "Answer security questions: " it tells me that I have to put in my birthday, and I do so, but it says "The authentication information provided does not match our records. Please verify your personal information and try again." (Not sure how this applies to the security questions but just wanted to add it.)
What do I do?!

My form has a list of yes or no questions. I want to use either cheboxes or radio buttons. Unfortunatly I can't make it work. When I check yes for one question, it marks all yes answers for all other questions. If I mark some radio buttons to answer, it unmarks later. Need immediate help!!!
Is it that you are using a PDF-based form? Did you copy and paste the Yes/No fields all the way down your form? If so, then all of the yes/no boxes are copies of each other and have the same name and properties in the PDF.
For example, if you had:
Question 1 and Question 1 Yes/No checkboxes
Question 2 and Question 1 Yes/No checkboxes
Question 3 and Question 1 Yes/No checkboxes
Question 4 and Question 1 Yes/No checkboxes
Then whatever answer you selected in Question 1 would populate down through the rest of the form.
Changing the Yes/No field properties in questions two through four would eliminate the problem.

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with your security questions. I found an article with some useful information if you cannot remember the answers to your security questions:
What should I do if I don't remember the answers to my Apple ID security questions?
Try answering them at least once to see if you can get them right, even if you are not sure you remember the answers to your security questions.
If you are confident you can't remember them, try one of the following:
If you have three security questions and a rescue email address
sign in to My Apple ID and select the Password and Security tab to send an email to your rescue email address to reset your security questions and answers.
If you have one security question and you know your Apple ID passwordsign in to My Apple ID and select the Password and Security tab to reset your security question.
If you have one security question, but don't remember your Apple ID password
contact Apple Support for assistance. Learn more about creating a temporary support PIN to help Apple confirm your identity when you contact Apple Support.
Note: If you have forgotten your password and answer your security questions incorrectly too many times in a row, you will be unable to try to answer your security questions for a period of time. During that time you will not be able to reset your password and will not have access to your account.
