Media sharing on fcpx 10.1.4 not working : DSPPUBLISHING ERROR -29 : any idea ?

I use IMAC 27' with OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 and FCP X 10.1.4 : I want to share a short piece of movie ( of 7 mn) I created. Whether it is to create an Image disc or to engrave a DVD , this fail at around 66% of the sharing process with the error : DSPPUBLISHING ERROR -29. Somebody has any idea ?

Did you follow the steps "Using mod_oc4j to Front Oracle Secure Enterprise Search with an Oracle HTTP Server" described here:

If so, then SES will now be communicating by ajp13 protocol, and will be expected to be called from Application Server (AS). As it says in that section:
"At this point, to access the Oracle SES middle tier you need to go through the Oracle HTTP Server. In other words, for the Oracle SES URLs you now have to use the host and port of the Oracle HTTP Server. The original URLs are no longer accessible."
The URL that works now will be something like
http://asserver:80/search/query ( or just http://assserver/search/query )
You can check this by editing $ORACLE_HOME/oc4j/j2ee/OC4J_SEARCH/config/http-web-site.xml and changing "protocol=ajp13" back to "protocol=http". Run "searchctl restart" and SES should now be accessible from the original URL. Don't forget to change it back!

They sent me MB110LL/B, function keys need updated drivers (Boot Camp 3.3) which will only install if Windows 7 is installed. I have a large amount of older software that runs under XP but not Windows 7. The Apple support team basically said "too bad". If they replace a keboard model with a new model, they should at least make it backwards compatable or provide a Boot Camp update that will allow this model to work on older iMacs. Reloading Bootcamp 3.3 several times has no effect because it does not detect Windows 7. Any Ideas or help would be appreciated.

It is free. It is beta. It works well - I use it on mine and two PCs as well...
MS Security Essentials will no longer install due to compatibiliity issues - that is the idea of a beta - and the RC could be out in June.
Windows 7 doesn't work great on any Mac, or Apple drivers, fan cvontrol to manage heat, and other issues.
Put 8 in and get to know it, then when the RC comes out you'll be ready

I am Trying to update my 4s to ios8 not working properly.. Any ideas?

There are reports of similar behavour but generally it is due to battery connections. Is the indicator light working steadily or does it blink or even not function. Here is the Apple document dealing with some of the problems.

Is your machine within the guarantee period or under Apple care. If so, return it to any apple retailer for examination and possible replacement.

My facetime and imessage are not working! They were literally were working one minute and not the next! I have reset (NOT RESTORED) my ipod, however these 2 apple apps are not working now, anyone have any idea why???

Found the answer, at least for now! Thanks to roryjt, and having to search through tons of post on imessage and facetime issues! Changed the DNS on my ipod for my wireless network to 8.8.8.8 Not sure if it will work outside of my wireless network, but since its an ipod, not an iphone, I usually only use it in my place/on my network. I've played with java preference settings and it makes no difference.
Have you checked the brower preferences to make sure the plug-in is enabled? It appears maybe you have.

My Render is not working in CC 2014- any ideas?

Just installed CC 2014 and I can't render at all. All of the usual shortcuts and even using the Menu bar won't render the timeline.

I was able to render using In and Out markers and then Rendering from Menu bar.

Here are the steps for AirPlay:
Before starting Azul from your (running iOS 5.x/6.x) home screen where have have all your apps we need to turn on mirroring
On your iPhone 4S/5 or iPad 2 or 3, double-click the Home Button to view your recently-used apps.
Swipe all the way to the right to until you see the icon.
Note: If the icon does not appear, go to the "If AirPlay Mirroring is not visible or available on your mobile iOS device" section.
Tap the icon to see the list of available AirPlay devices.
Enable AirPlay Mirroring in this menu by tapping on an available Apple TV, then sliding the Mirroring slider to ON.
Now you should be seeing your iPad/iPhone on your TV.
Start up Azul now and using the settings icon on the top right corner go to the option that say "TV out" ON.
When you do that you will see an Orange screen
Now click "Done" and play the video you want to watch and it will AirPlay

because unless you have the old silver alu appletv with a harddisk sync is not possible at all

It seems that the problem lies in your router. I'm not sure exactly what the issue is (I've just now discovered it myself), but after switching from a Linksys WRT54GX2 to a thrift store Netgear, my shared libraries appeared instantly. My gut is telling me that the Linksys routers are blocking the multicast traffic, which is stupid on Linksys's part, to filter traffic internally. I'll look more into the Netgear and see what it has that the Linksys doesn't (or vice versa).

Made a media player for my mp3s but will not work on myspace

I created a fash media player for my myspace page using the
media controller and media display components and uploaded to my
webspace with the mp3s where it works fine. Then I added the normal
flash code on my myspace with the web address as the source path.
But alas the the sound does not play ...
Any ideas ?

Are all of your URL's absolute?

When you search our podcast "The Media Brothers" in the mobile Itunes app, it pulls up these podcasts that are not even closely related. Any Ideas on how to get it to search correctly?

Searching in the iTunes Store on a Mac brings up various podcasts, of which this is the fourth:

Of course I don't know that this is indeed yours, but assuming it is at least it's showing up, though why it doesn't turn up as first I have no idea. I'm afraid the Store's search algorithms are completely opaque and there doesn't appear to be anything you can do about it.

I do not get the Airplay icon on my Macbook's menu bar. I have checked the box in the Display settings to show mirroring options but still no icon. Airplay Display shows 'No device Detected'. Both AppleTV and MacBook Pro are on the same physical Network (192.168.1.0/24) and connected directly to my home ethernet switch (not wirelessly). I also made sure MacBook's Firewall is disable. Airplay feature use to work before upgrade to 10.9.2. As far as Home sharing from my AppleTV has a similar issue; it just does not find my MacBook after a while of loading and searching my music library. I am logged in to icloud on both devices (appletv and macbook). Also use to work before upgrade. Any ideas or recommendations. Thanks.
