Media Sync doesn't offer option to sync Camera Photos.
I was trying to setup Link to sync my camera photos back to my desktop via wifi. When I get in range the mapped drives of my Z10 appear as Y: and Z:. My camera photos are then accessible via Y:\camera (which is TOO COOL by the way). But, when I go to Media Sync to add those photos for syncing, my only option is {MyDeviceName} to Sync to. There is not a way to actually select the path that will by synced.
Therefore I don't get y:\camera as the sync path, instead I get y:\photos\camera. My only choice, again, is {mydevicename} so the choice to select y:\camera isn't available.
Maybe we could get the option to select a path, or maybe a 4th media option would be "Camera" to go along with Photos, Videos and Documents.
Loving My Z10, but wishing for more.

I downloaded an episode of a TV show (and paid for it), but the download froze and only 30 seconds of it downloaded. I can't figure out how to download the rest of it. itunes shows it as already downloaded, and doesn't give an option for re-downloading it. I have gone to the page where you finish any incomplete downloads, and this one did not show up on it. I tried deleting the episode (or 30 seconds of the episode from my computer), hoping that I could redownload it, but it still shows up as downloaded & doesn't give me an option to download it. I paid for it, but I can't watch it. How do I contact a real person or do a live chat or something so I can get this fixed?

Have you tried to restart your Pre? To restart your Pre, do the following:
1. Launch the Device Info application.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap Reset Options.
3. Then tap the Restart button.
Once the Pre reboots, try to use the Media Sync or USB mode options again.

Media Sync Doesn't Work for Mac

That's how Blackberry describes Media Sync. Unfortunately, it doesn't see any of my iTunes playlists and always gives me the error "Exceeded Memory Limit" regardless of the free space available.
My Mac OS is 10.6.4 (Snow Leopard) and I have the latest version of BB Desktop Manager which has Media Sync integrated. I've seen this complaint on virtually every BB forum - has anyone managed to make it work?
I really think that this is a serious misrepresentation of the software's capabilities and I shouldn't have to resort to third-party apps after what I'm paying for the phone and the service contract.Hey ARM77,

There is a few things I will suggest to hopefully fix this issue for you.
1. Is mass storage mode currently enabled when you hook your BlackBerry to the Mac? If not please read KB13564.
2. Is your iTunes updated to the very latest version?
3. Verify that your media card has a sufficient amount of memory available for the playlists. To check this, perform the following:
In BlackBerry® Desktop Manager, click Device Options. On the Media tab, decrease the amount of memory that is kept free for files other than your music files.

when i was trying to update my iphone 4s from 6.1.4 to ios 7,its asking to change the media sync options,how can i change that option,can any one help me.........?
I tried powering down and re-starting the iPhone (as suggested at http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1275). This seems to have cleared the "...not connected to the Internet" problem, and iOS 6.1 is now in the process of downloading.

You're out of space. Do you sync music to your phone? If so, try syncing it over in 128kb which will save a lot of room. Option is right in front of you in iTunes when you plug phone in.

I'm trying to update my IPAD 2 to iOS 7.1.2 but don't have enough memory to do so. In I-Tunes I'm told to change my media sync options to gain more memory, but I don't know how. Can you help?
Turn off the check mark to sync your music and also the check mark for the video. Sync the device. This will remove the items from you iPad but still keep them on your computer. Install IOS 7.1.2. Then turn on the check marks for your music and videos and resync the device.

Media Sync Doesn't Recognize Device
Just got an unlocked Curve 8320. Inserted a media card, and downloaded Media Sync to my PC, not the whole Desktop Manager. Media Sync now doesn't recognize my device; have tried this tons of times! And, my computer itself doesn't recognize it as a USB drive as well. My device does have the 4.5 software loaded. Is it possible to just drag and drop music files to my microSD card since I can't use Media Sync? Also, does my blackberry have to be connected via USB for me to use Roxio Media Manager? Or can I just insert my media card? Didn't want to download the whole Desktop Manager w/ Media Manager since it already doesn't recognize my device. Aagh!

Sounds like the bbthumbs.dat files that get created are causing problems. You can delete them all and it will work.
Doesn't look like a way to fix this permanetly however (they'll come back next time you sync) -

You need to untick items you sync via iTunes and reduce the space used on the iPhone as in a videos etc etc
If you can do the update via itunes it does all the hard work unpacking the update and pumping the update to the device otherwise the device takes the strain requiring more space than you may have -

How do I change media sync options on my iPhone 5?
When you get this message there is no alternative but to delete content from your phone, this per my conversation with Apple support a few minutes ago. In that cast try to delete only free apps or things like podcasts that can easily be restored from the original source should you desire to do so.
iTunes is a very poorly written program with an ancient interface--in 2014 it does not even support windowing. You are foolish to rely on iTunes for backing up and restoring whatever programs or data in order to upgrade the iOS. Apple's only concern with restoring and backing up data centers on DRM protrected music purchased from iTunes, nothing else and is designed to not restore media files not purchased from iTunes. Hence in my experience Apple telephone support will tell you to use third party software for transferring media from an old to a new phone when you encounter the inevitable problems. If as I do you use the phone for business software back up your data in the way that program deigns and do not rely on iTunes, particularly prior to upgrading the OS or transferring data to a new phone. -

What media sync options? Where are they ? How do I change them?Afraid, this doesnt help. I've already unselected about 100 iTunes, resynced, and I still get the same message about 610 MB needing to be deleted.
What is so magic about 610 MB as a number?
Is this anything to do with iCloud? I was on the free 20 MB offeruntil last month and then got downgraded to 5 because I could n't see the need for paying for extra Cloud space. Is this the reason why?
