Mediacentre deluxe 2 problem

hi , i recently got a new msi fx 5600 vtdr128 and have installed the most recent drivers and patches all round but cant seem to get mediacentre to work at all, an error pops up saying macromedia projector has a problem and needs to shut down i have installed all things on the mediacentre cd and its still says the same, can any1 help me plz???????

well this is the first and last msi product i will b buying as support from msi itself is rather crap to put it lightly, dont get me wrong all the ppl on this forum are great but there is jus so many problems with buggy software that it should never have seen the light of day at all, i have done all i can think of to no availethis includes msi and nvidia drivers media centre deluxe 2 unistall and reinstall and using the patch same problem, and if any1 from msi gets to c this then plz in the future dont release buggy or problematic software as its not the best way to retain current customers or attrack future ones.

Mega PC865 DELUXE - Problems installing Windows XP Home SP2

Hi - I have a PC865 Deluxe - (celeron 2.8ghz Celeron, 512mb Crucial Ram) - and a Maxtor S-ATA 80GB hard drive - trying to install windows XP Home Edition - and it boots from CD rom and starts the Windows Setup - but it the windows install fails to recognize the hard drive, I've also tried with a seagate 80GB ATA drive and it fails to find that too.
The bios is recognizing the drives fine - just the windows install fails (and as a result eventually comes up saying Unable to mount boot volume).
I have tried the hard drives in another pc (emachines) and windows is quite happy to start installing on that one - just not on the MEGA PC 865. Is this a case of updating the bios to 1.3 - or is there any other possible cause.
Any help would be much appreciated

Techtool deluxe problem

G'day
My new 24" imac with Gforce 130 graphics card has been acting weird; frozen shutdowns, frozen programs, photoshop not pasting correctly.
The techtool deluxe that came with Applecare shows a 'Fail' on the cards memory, but TechTool Pro shows a 'Pass'.
Micromat tells me it's possibly because the supplied TechTool deluxe is older than the card (the TT deluxe creation date is 1 April 2008).
Apples hardware test shows everything OK.
I've re-installed the OS 3 times, and it seems OK for now.
Does anyone have the same card with TT deluxe, and does it show a failed or passed card?

Have you checked the list of items to be scanned and made sure "surface scan" was selected?

Vital Program no longer works after updating JAVA SE - Need help fast!

I am just an old guy, not a techie, with diabetes who uses Bayer?s CLUCOFACTS Deluxe for Windows to monitor/manage my blood sugars.
A couple of weeks ago I had a warning message on starting up the program which led to a call to Bayer. They advised me to update my JAVA applications, which I did. Since that time, I have not been able to open the Bayer?s CLUCOFACTS Deluxe for Windows application.
I searched the web to see if anyone had a similar problem. It appears a number of people have the same issue and have not been able to solve the problem. I signed up and logged into the JAVA site to see if there might be some clue . . . the lingo is over my head. I did check JAVA, via the site to insure it was running properly on my local disk.
My gut feeling is a link was broken when the original JAVA was cleaned from the computer in preparation to do a fresh download of JAVA. When the current version was loaded, I was unable to open the application. Thinking it might be a matter of how the programs were loaded, I then downloaded/reinstalled Bayer?s CLUCOFACTS Deluxe for Windows without any luck.
I am willing to give this another go if you have any specific advice that may help me find a solution. Because I am hearing impaired, the telephone is not an option for working through this problem. We have to rely on email.
I need very simplified, step by step, instructions get the program up and running again. (Example: Start > Control Panel > JAVA right click > Open)
I am not into programming or the development side of JAVA; I am just a simple user who needs some advice on how to get the program up and running again in order to manage my diabetes.

Best guess advice is to uninstall Java completely and then install the Java version that came on your GLUCOFACTS (not CLUCOFACTS) CD. Then, from Control Panel -- > Java, clear the checkbox for "Check for updates automatically".

Fisrt, this topic is just some experience of mine (thanx to a german guy), nothing to do with a "real fix". And I wanted to say that I was pretty decei'ved by Creative, posted here no answers, asked for custumer help, got a ticket twice and no anwsers what so ever ...
Here was my problem :
-Crackle.
-No sound at all at windows start.
-Some sound but just shot down during a game session or watching some video/music etc...
-Nice blue critical errors involving some ha20x2k.sys file.
-sound freezs (same sequence of sound comming back during a few secounds).
-Sound card wouldn't install properly, 27% then 87% of the install and blue screen.
Guess I had nearly all the bugs existing hum :/
I've been dealing with this for ages now ( week which is ages for a computer problem, especially that I know some things about computers and never spent one freaking week to solve a problem).
So I read a thread on that topic relating to a german one about electromagnetic issues. Well some motherboards, graphics cards or power supply well whatever is working with electricity generates electromagnetic waves. And it seems that the Creatives audio cards are pretty sensible to these kinds of waves, like all electronic material not well protected !

The guys wants to put foil in his system, using cardboard to separate from graphic card. Well this is the solution, though maybe a bit hazardous regarding the foil in some electronic sysmtem though it's not the best conductor ever you may damage your computer.
I've wrapped up the sound blaster x-fi fatality with an anti-electrostatic blaster (every card is normally protected with some when you buy it, mother boards, graphic cards etc...) and just fixed it in my tower. And as if nothing ever happened I got my sound back. I'm now listenning to music and it's all fine.
Obviously I got the sound card to work half an hour ago, so I think we nead to try it at least for a few hours but regarding aal the problems I had before I really think I fixed it.
So, I appologize for the English if it's not quite that good, hope it's understandable, I'm French and I need to practice so if some moderator would come across some big mistakes feel free correcting them

Well I bought a new PSU, a Seasonic S2II-430 because I just asked everywhere and though the Corsair one was good, this one was quoted as very good. So well, anyway it's the same thing, cost me 73. and it's very nice.
But still, the problem remains ...
Well, plz isn't there someone out there who could tell what's wrong ? I get sound (sometimes) at windows start. And I can hopefully listen to some music for 5 to 0 minutes and the sounds just cuts off. I got a few sound bugs activating CMSS.
I used all the drivers, always the same thing. What am I suppose to do now ?
My motherboard is a 965P-DS3 form Gigabyte and it supposed to work correctly with X Fi I read somewhere where they tested X Fi with different hardware.
The sound card isn't working properly ? Or is it the motherboard or something else ?

How I solved my X-Fi issues (crackling, SOD, locku

I had it lockups, crackling noises, high pitch noise (SOD), Sound was played extremely fast and extremly low a couple of times (BF2 in X-Fi mode).
After i stumbled upon this Hompage:

i build my own "shielding card", put it between Graphics- and Soundcard and voila, my problems went away, from one day to another. Well its only been one day so far, but it is defintly an improvement. After a longterm test, i will post again...
Anyway, this should not be the way to go for a 00$ Soundcard, i never had any problems with OnBoard Sound.

Problem with FX5600VTDR in Games andMedia Deluxe II

Can you help me with my problems?
When I start MSI Media deluxe II studio there are no letters. Except the letters there are only squares. Everything other (windows and colors) is correct.
My next problem is with some games. For example in Command & Concquer Generals. There in the game are some buildings missing. Except the building is there only their shapes. In the GTA3-vice city I have problem too. When I play the game more then 2 minutes I see texture mistakes (cars and buildings seems crazy). After 3 minutes is there a lot of colored lines.

The drivers on the MSI site are identical to the NVidia drivers. MSI tests the drivers and if its found that they operate without issue, they are placed on the site for download. That doesn't mean the newer drivers may be unstable, it just means MSI hasn't gotten around to test them as yet.
Nothing stopping you from trying the new drivers from NVidia. If they work for you use them. If not, you can always revert.

Problem with DLO Dock Deluxe

I've been trying to get my nano to work with the "On TV" feature of the DLO Dock Deluxe. The nano connects fine to the stereo when in the default dock mode but as soon as I push the mode button on the DLO remote to go to TV mode the nano display slides to a big check mark saying OK to disconnect. The TV screen shows the DLO menu screen but says "no iPOD detected". I've called DLO several times. First they said to update the nano to 1.1 (did this and the updater brought the nano to 1.1.1 but didn't help solve the problem), then they said to try and restore the nano (which I did with no change in behavior), then they told me to exchange the dock for another one (which I just did today and I still have the same problem). I'm feeling convinced that the problem has to be with the iPOD but not sure what to try next since I've tried everything DLO has asked. I think someone may have said to reformat the device but I didn't know that was an option and not sure how to do that. I'm assuming that would be different than reseting, updating, and restoring. Has anyone else had similar challenges? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am having prob. installing adobe photo deluxe 4.0. i used it for many yrs - it was the smiplest program for
transparencies/opacity/overlays - the rest are just too complicated for me - tried 'em. puter crashed lost everything -
can't find disk. downloaded it from adobe - when i attempted to install (pdx401upus.exe) - popup window - unzip -
then run - after it runs another popup window ( warning: the destination directory could not be determined for
photodeluxe 4.0. i am using both vista and windows 7. had it on vista when it crashed. on another forum people
used it on windows 7. hope someone may be able to help me on this installation or direct me or may know of
a program that has similar methods for the feature that i am looking for. i am one of those people who function

Do not click 'run' after unzipping. Find the contents that are unzipped. Right-click on the setup.exe and choose to 'run as administrator'.

Just upgraded Tiger to Leopard. Clarisworks not supported. I can successfully convert CW4.0 doc's to AW6.0 doc's using MacLink Plus Deluxe but the problem is I than cannot print them or convert to PDF, either.

just bought an iMac and when I tried to install Techtool Deluxe 3.1.1 and 3.1.2 I got the same problem as described in

when calling Apple Care I was suggested to try to install the software using another account (in the same iMac). It worked.
Does this solve the problem? Or could it happen that the application is not proper installed in my account? what happens when I remove the testing account I used to install the Techtool?

You should ask Apple why this workaround works and why. It's obviously a bug.

MSI Media Center Deluxe 2 Problem - Urgent!

i've just got my new fx5600 vtdr graphics card and when i installed MSI Media Center Deluxe 2 under windows xp including the latest patch available, all the text parts in the software are presented with rectangles.
now because i cannot read anything, i cannot use the program !
i use windows xp pro english version with local settings Turkey - Turkish, and the MSI Media Center Deluxe 2 seems to have Turkish support.
I tried to change the language of the program from Turkish which it automatically chooses to English but i coul not achieve.
How can i change user interface language of the program to English or how can i fix the problem ?

Did you treid to record the FM, the file result is horrible, as a very old audio tape.
If you record FM with windows utility "magnétphone "in french it 's all right.

Yep. got the same prob - WinXP PL version and Mediacenter was allready patched.
Juirbanek uses as I guess also CE wersion of WinXP.

I have run the program to check a problem that I'm having. The particularly with video, and also volume structure. TEchTool Delux reports a failure for both of these components.
I am wondering if this is realistic or not, given the start-up screen for TechTool Delux mentions on start-up that it has yet to be tested fully with Lion?

Yes, I understand, however, he Macbook is out of its Applecare, but the TechTool it still on the machine. Does that entitle me to an upgrade in TechTool?
I suspect not, hoever, seeing I am running Lion, I am not sure at all? If you can answer this question it will help as then Imight be able to solve the problem I'm having.
