I need to give which is the highest Message Size so far from since Jan to May in PI.
How can i determine which is the highest Message Size in PI system?

RWB --> Performance Monitoring --->
Select Display as Overview Individually......Data Source IS.......Processing Mode - keep it blank if you want to inlcude both Async and Sync...... Time Interval select This Year once entered the details click Start....you will get a complete list of individual message processing from JAN to MAY alongwith Message Size...then by visual inspection you can decide which one is the highest size....check it out

As far as my B2B Knowledge is concerned, in order to know the size of an EDI payload... we download the payload from wire message or payload, copy the data and paste it in a file. The size of the file determines the EDI payload size.
But, this is a tedious task, particularly in cases where there are huge number of EDI data. To far as I know, the size of EDI files ranges from 1 MB to 1GB.
Please advise what should I do in cases of files with large payload sizes(more than 25MB).
Please advise if there is any B2B table whose one of the columns depicts the size of the payload.
I have searched through some b2b table as b2b_messageinstance, b2b.ip_b2b_report but could not find any such columns.
Please advise what exactly the procedure is to determine the size of EDI payload data, particularly for cases where payload data is larger than 25 MB.

I am afraid that there is no direct way of finding the payload size in 10g. You may write your own standalone program or API which may calculate the size of payload by querying the b2b_instancemessage view or by calling the B2B InstanceMessage API -

SOA service receives only part of the payload posted

Hi all,
Our SOA architecture consists of SOA and OSB. The external system hits the SOA service via OSB with the large payload of size around 12 MB.
The issue is that the external system posted a payload of 9 MB and received only 5 MB of it.The external system also received success response for the posted payload.But we received incomplete payload.
I think the issue must be because of the large size of the payload.
If I am not wrong, there should be some configuration settings that we have missed out.
Kindly advice.

To know the size of the input message , i hope we have one option , after copying the test payload from the SXMB_MONI into Message mapping test -- click on test
after come back to design tab in message mappign
click on left side root node and Press CTRL+SHIFT + mouse right click and click on trace -- you can see the size of the message payload.

Hi,
For a particular message, you can go to SXMB_MONI -> Runtime and you can see the payload size for that particular message. For a month message, you can look into Performance monitoring for all information. I didn't know it shows the size, because in my XI system its taking long time. So you cud check there.

ths payload size in KB can be found from the audit logs of the adapter monitoring (Runtime workbench ).
it will tell you the exact size of the files processed through the adapter.

Need to reterive the payload from SOA-INFRA dehydration tables.

I've raised couple of SRs with Oracle and did not got appropriate response. So I think there are a lot of g8 minds also working here.
Requirement:
I need to reterive the payload in the xml format and store in a db table for certain process.
Steps followed:
Created a soa process which accepts the InstanceId and ECID as input and provides them to a java class using Java embed activity. The class that accepts that input and connect to getCompositeInstances() using a locator class. In this process it will make use of another two classes to convert the instance payload to dom and then to display. The mainclass uses the XMLUtil and XPathUtils classes for this requirement.
When I ran the three classes then I'm able to get the payload, but when called using the Javaembed I'm running into trouble. I'm getting a null value, not even any exception. I tried removing the catch in all the classes but no luck. Please find the below code in the Java embed and the java classes also.

are you trying to retreive the payload for a completed/closed instance or for an inflight instance? if it is for inflight instance you can retreive the payload using

if it is for a completed instance, you need to get the input payload for the instance then you can get it from the audit trail. i think your xpath is not correct. the data in details look like this:

you need extract the CDATA content and parse again. this query needs to be changed, there could be many details in the audit trail, you need to pick the right one.

Air 3.9 for iOS - Increased file size of the executable?

Hi,
I've just exported a new release of my app with the new Air 3.9 SDK.
I've discovered that the file size of the .ipa is increased of 9MB (before it was 30, now it's 39...)
Looking into the Payload, I've found that the exutable itself is increased from 7 MB to 30 MB...
Is that possibile? Or am I doing something wrong?
I'm on FLEX SDK,

I would like to add that, packaging in -XVerbose mode, I found that some frameworks have been added to the package like MapKit. I'm using some ANEs, but none of them uses a MapKit framework.
Anyone know which are the frameworks actually being embedded inside the iOS packaging?

An Attachement for the payload of the message monitoring.

Hello ,
From the forum links, I found that to access a message payload for the message monitoring, we need to call <u>cl_xms_persist->read_msg_all.</u>
and the export parameter would give the payload message as an attachment.

     You can see your payload in Tcode SXMB_MONI
     SXMB_MONI-->
     MONITOR FOR PROCESSED XML MESSAGES-->
     click F8 (if required change the date of execution from to select specific message on date range)-->
     Double click on the right most 3D button type of box before the flag icon,
Now you will be able to see the Different pipeline Execution steps(7 Steps) that Your message has under gone .Click on any one of them and see your payload in payload folder at each and every step.This helps us in understanding the way your message is undergoing transformations through out its journey from sender to receiver.
VIRTUAL RECIVER..Is actually a part of an annonymous and adressable unit like service to simulate the receiver that is participating in B2B communication.Its jus a mandatory parameter that has to be mntione din Receiver deternination when We test our B2B scenarios using this option in ID part of PI/XI.

Can I edit image size in the TOC?

Is it possible to edit the size of the image placeholder used for the TOC in CP5?
I'd like to use it for a company logo to free up some design space and keep marketing happy, but I can't make it big enough.
Unfortunately I don't have access to Flash so if there is an alternative way that would be great.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to edit the size of the image placeholder in TOC in Captivate 5. The image is scaled down to project size and displayed in the TOC.

Edit next extent size of the Cluster table

Hi Guys
I need to change the next extent size of the a table.
I ran se14 but i am not able to get into edit mode, because there is no button for edit mode.
Reason: Cluster table
Two questions:
1. Why there is no Edit button? Is it because this table doesnot exixt at DB level.
2. How can i change the next extent size for a Cluster table from sql prompt or from brtools if possible.
Information:
I am facing this issue only in DEV, QAS boxes, where as in Production its fine.

Hi,
Cluster Tables doesn't exist in DB, Because of that you can't make changes to extents at DB level.
if you experiencing some space issue. I woud suggest to check the underline Transparent tables and make changes to those.

I am in the print mode but the dimensions I select in the size template do not show up on either the cell size or the photo, i.e. select 4x6 template lR gives me 3.5x4 8x10 gives me 5.19x3,50 I have to use 8x10 template in order to get 3.5x5.194

The sizes on the print template do not relate to the size I get in the cell size or on the photo. Template 8x10 gives me 3.5 x5.194 which is on the cell size can't make it any larger. 4X6 template gives me 3.5x4 which is the same as the cell size. My printer is a new epson 3000 which is set to print 4x6 but LR does not give the 4x6 dimension to the printer just the aforementioned sizes!!!! I have tried everything to get it to print properly to no avail. The photo system that came with the computer an iMac 27" pro 2013 with yosemite as the os.works fine with he printer! You just cannot do much other than print with it
