Meeting phone conferences

Since there is no way (that I can find) to schedule a meeting
with the "always on" rooms, is the meeting Phone number always the
same? I realize participants get prompted with the phone number but
is that number the same so it can be distributed ? Participant
codes would be the problem then, wouldn't it?

If you are using the Premier Phone Bridge then the phone
number is assigned to the room based upon what you entered when
creating the room. The Phone Number will not change from meeting to
meeting. The Phone Number and Participant code can be distributed
for those users who are behind extentions or just prefer to dial
in. Only Meeting Hosts get a different pass code.

  • Posibility opening (initiate) a meet me conference using any APPLICATION

    Hello, colleagues.
Maybe some one knows - Is it possible to open (initiate) a meet me conference using any application ? Do I have such posibility?
As you know CUCM has a bulid in Meet-Me feature that allow you to join the conference for appropriate count of peoples but without PIN.
Community has a few posts according PIN \ PASSWORD avalibility. Before to do research with CUCM and UCCX or CUC  \ web server+ DB  and etc I want to know a fundamental think:
Is it possible to open (initiate) a meet me conference using any application? Or i have only one option - i must physically dial a meem-me ext to start the conference ?
P.S.  duplicate question located at \Conferencing tab. Sorry for that - realy dont know what the main container for this question.
    Thanks for understanding :)

Unfortunately, this is not possible from Jabber.

  • Unable to join Meet me conference from outside (DID) number

    Hi,
Would anyone help to fix below!
    What I'm trying to do?
    - I'm working on meet me. Meet me pattern is 2222 and is obsolutly working fine internally. I used 2222 (DID) number so anyone can join conference from outside by dialing DID number 2222.
    Issue.
    - When i try to join Meet me conference by dialing DID it gives busy tone. Unable to join.
Is there something to do with transcode??
    - I have already a transcode in CUCM and registered with Gateway

  • Meet Now Conference Invite - UCMA

    Hi all,
Back again, I'm currently looking into getting into the signalling path of Meet Now conferences.
Currently I can get the initiator successfully into the UCMA application and B2B the call out to the original destination. This works fine and the client can then add new participants
The invite which is passed to UCMA via MSPL is the Invite which contains the SDP.
Upon adding a participant, the participant client rings, and upon answer the participant is ejected from the conference. I never the see the Invite hit the UCMA application, although I do see the Invite in the SessionReceivedEventArgs.
The UCMA application rejects the invite with a 403 Forbidden and the reason is "Remote participant mismatch".
Can anyone shed any light on this? I can't see any reason for the rejection.
    Thanks
    Michael.

  • Call Handler Transfer to Meet Me Conference

I am struggling a bit with setting up a call handler in Cisco Unity 7.0.
We have a DID direct to the Unity administrator.  They want the ability to dial the MeetMe conference numbers (799X) and dial into them from an outside line without having to call the reception and ask to be transferred.
I have setup a Call Handler for Ext. 7999, set the greeting to none, set the Call Transfer to release to phone at Ext. 7999 and 'Release to switch'.  I receive a message stating, "That extension can not be dialed".  What am I missing?
    Regards,
    Jason

Are you allowing that in your restriction tables?

  • Video phone conference

Is Iphone4 capable of video conferencing? For example I made a phone call to friend A and we both want to talk to friend B; will it allow us to have video facetime phone call so I can see both friend A and B?

It wasn't part of the demo at the keynote yesterday which would lead one to believe that it cannot conference.

  • Max. No. of People in a meet me conference

    Dear All,
I have 6 software conference bridges in one cluster. All the servers are running Cisco CallManager and IP Voice Media streaming application services
In service parameters for Cisco CallManager service "Maximum MeetMe Conference Unicast" is set to 48
    Now I have two doubts
    1. Is it correct that max 48 persons can join one conference
    2. Is it possible to increase this limit
Here I do not want to increase the MeetMe parameter value above 48 as Cisco does not recommend it. However since there are 6 bridges, is there any way to get more people in the conference

for a softwareConferenceBridge, the maximum number of streams is 128, which will allow upto 128 users in a single conference (or 42 confs w/3 conferees each)
see this link for more info:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps752/products_tech_note09186a008009476a.shtml
per cisco documentation, if you have the resources available, the maximumMeetMeConferenceUnicast can be set upto 128 participants.

  • How can we get a url for a "Meet Now" conference call from within the Windows Store App?

    Hi,
Is it possible to get the url for the current meeting / new "Meet Now" call from within the Windows Store app?
You have the option of inviting your current Lync contacts, but I don't see a way of giving a URL to clients that would launch Lync on their device, or take them to the web app.
I can see how to get the link using the Outlook plugin, for pre-scheduled meetings. Is this link always the same and the one that should be used for an impromptu "Meet Now" meeting? It would still be good to know how to get this URL from within
the store app so I can tell clients where to get it.
Some people may be on Windows RT devices and not have access to the plugin in Outlook, and want to start a meeting at short notice and then invite others via email or pasting a link to them elsewhere.
    Any help appreciated.

  • Adding Conference Bridge info to meeting in Calendar

    Hello,
I'm looking at making a room mailbox for a conference call line that our company utilizes. I know how to make the resource mailbox, meeting attendant and even a customized message to confirm the resource is scheduled. However, I'm not sure how to modify
it to where all attendees see the number and passcode in their calendar for the meeting. Should I be using an equipment mailbox instead? Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
You can create a Lync meeting in Outlook:
Then all attendees just need to click "Join Lync Meeting" to join the meeting. For the conference call, please use the conference phone to dial one of the numbers listed in "Find a local number link" list to join the Lync meeting. For more information
about joining a conference call by phone, please refer to:

  • How can I dowloaded Recorde phone call conferences posted on the web?

    Hi Friends
Yesterday I bought my first IPOD, and I am enjoying the music etc.
However, the main reason I bought the IPOD is so that I can record all the phone conference call we have with our internet business. Our leaders have posted several recorded calls with different topics (these are called made by phone and recorded so we can review and learn what is being taught to us).
I click on the download button (click here to download)on the internet page, and the Quick Time sign comes and It begins playing, but I need downloading not playing and I do not see any place to click once it begin to play.
    HELP HELP HELP
    Arnold

On the web-site that you get the recordings from, right click on the link instead of left-clicking and then click "download as" or "save target as". Then save it in My Documents or whereever you want. Then open iTunes, go to file - "Add File To Library". Once the window pops up, find your phone record and click "open". It should now be in your library, ready to be downloaded to your iPod.
If this solution was helpful or it solved your problem, please click either button at the top of my post.
    Thanks,
    Matt

  • How Can I Disable AD-HOC conference(Meet Now )

    Dear
How Can I "Disable Ad-Hoc Conference" in our Organize and Disable Meet now conference in lync client by CS- policies  ?

I don't believe there is a way to specifically disable "Meet Now" from the Lync client. Are you looking to disable all meetings, or just those through the Meet Now (ad-hoc) button.
You could use Set-CsConferencingPolicy set the maximum meeting participants to "2" if you intend to disable conferencing altogether. It's probably not ideal.
Is there a specific reason why you want to disable it?

  • Meet-me on vg248 or analog devices

anyone know how to open a meet-me on analog device attached on vg248?

    Hi Eduardo,
Sadly, Analog VG Ports can only initiate Adhoc Conferences. Meet-Me conferences can only be setup via the Meet-Me Softkey on IP Phones :(

  • Record a phone conversation on imac

    Quick simple question.
Right now I have desktop speakers connected to two computers so depending on which one I am using I can listen via those speakers.
I have a phone conference tomorrow that I need to be hands free with, but would also like to record the conversation (it's a training session and will be agreed to by both parties - no problem or legal issue involved).
Is it as simple as disconnecting the mic plug from the one computer and sticking it into the phone in order to hear via the speakers?
Then from there how would I go about recording it on the iMac?
That is the part I am totally unfamiliar with.
    Thanks.
Meeting is a 8 AM tomorrow morning so if someone can help, I'd really really appreciate it.
    Brae
ps. it is a basic 3G phone.

        Hi gwendo,
Currently, you are not able to record a conversation on the phone with the LG Extravert. If you are looking for a way to save an important voicemail, we do have a partner that can archive the message to MP3 or even CD or cassette tape.
The company is called CBW, and they can be reached via  www.cbwproductions.com/vwclientsorder.html or by phone by calling  800-770-8046 or 877-244-3222. Hopefully they will be able to help you save that message!
    Thanks!

  • Conference call dropped

We were able to use conference call for 20 senior management in the monthly meeting. In the last meeting, 8 conference calls dropped middle of meeting.
Nothing changes in existing configuration. I have checked in CUCM Server, System > Service Parameter > Call Manager > Clusterwide parameter>
Drop Ad Hoc Conferenece : Never
Advanced Ad Hoc Conference Enable : True
Great appreciated someone advice me above issue.

Does the call actually end when the conference drops or does the audio just stop (one way or no way audio)?  If you have Call Detailed Records (CDR) enabled you can check the disconnect reason of the call.  If you don't and you have detailed call manager traces you can take a look there to see why the calls dropped if they actually cleared the call.
