Member Details
When I tried to join OTN I discovered that MY email address that I have had for the last 5-6 years was already in use. So I asked for the password to be sent to me which it was.
Now I can login but OTN thinks I am someone else with a name of "Joe Bloggs" and an incorrect handle
I guess someone named Richard created an account and typed a dummy email account, Mine! What a dummy.
Anyway, it's my email account and I really don't want to change it so I can create an account in OTN. How can I correct this? I can't find a way to update the handle or name. Is there some way for me to do this? Can you do it for me or should the account be deleted (not deactivated) and re-created?

Function to get Family Member Details and Addresses
Family Member details are stored in pa0021 and their addresses are stored in pa0106. I can find lots of BAPI's/Functions to read and create new Family Member details, but nothing that deals with both their Details and Address Information (pa0021 and pa0106). Is anyone aware of some type of function that exists to read/create/change this information?

I have tried several Scripts even changed the coding in it, also tried few External Script by created by other Scriptor's. Any suggestion on why this is happening.Perfect... Thank you. but no "Domain Users" Group.

CF/Flex Application Wizard Details Page
Hi,
Not sure if this is possible (seems like it should be). I
have the following data model in SQL Server (2005):
table name (relevant columns)
person (first name, last name)
member (member number)*
contact (email)*
location (state)*
Person is the base object/table and the other three tables
have foreign keys connecting them to the person table (all have a
personId column).
I setup a master page, no problem. I can grab the person's
first and last name, member number, email and state and display
them on the member-master page.
The issue comes when I go to create a member details page. I
can step through and create the necessary form fields from the
tables (connecting them all via their common personId column). When
I go to save the detail's page details, Eclipse (v3.2.x) crashes on
me. Every time. However, if I only create a form for the details
page with two tables (say member and person data), I can create the
details page and use it without any issues.
To get around this seeming two-table limitation, I edited the
Adobe/CF generated content to manually add the beans, DAOs,
gateways and AS files for the other tables. Doing this does create
the desired details page, however, Flex and CF are REALLY slow to
grab/return the requested data to the respective form fields (and
there is not that much to grab in any of these tables).
I'd like to know if this is just how I have to go about it.
Does the CF/Flex Application Wizard have a limit on how many tables
can be joined in a details page?
I have a project with a much more complex data model and
would love to generate a quick application for my client to check
out and I do not know if I've encountered a limit of the
application or if I am doing something wrong in the Query Builder
itself?
Also, any thoughts on why Flex and CF would be so slow to
return the data when I manually added the other tables to the
details page form? I'm on an intra-office network, connecting to a
computer via an ethernet router and the sample DB only has 2000
records in it...all with simple text and date columns?

I'm Using IIS
I needed to go look at the properties.
On the web site tab, the TCP port was set as 80.
In FlexBuilder Window > Preferences > Cold Fusion >
RDS Configuration
Select localhost > The default port number added there was
8500
Once I changed that to 80 and clicked on test connection, all

Package to output dimension member list
Hi,
I would like to schedule the automatic output of a dimension member listing from BPC.
Is there an inbuilt package I can use to do this?

There is no built in proceess that I know of that dose that but, you can use one of the follwing options.
If you are looking for dimension you can parse thru the XML file that it creates.
it's located under
C:\Documents and Settings\admBPCSQL\My Documents\OutlookSoft\Admin\MEI_Group\AdminAPP\DimCache\ACCOUNT.XML
if you are just looking for member detail you can always get the infor out form SQL tables
Mbr<dimensionname> or dim<dimensionname> tables.
Mbr<dimensionname> has same infor as your member sheet, and dim<dimensionname> table has the parent level info.

this is james mcfadden. i have developed a program called Demo.java, which is used with another program called QueryTableModel.java (a program that allows data to be viewed in a JTable). The Demo.java program displays a menu, connects to a database, allows the user to add data into the database and allows the user to view data that is already in the database. Sharing an address book over a local network - is .Mac required?
We have a smal Mac ethernet network of 4 or five macs all running OSX 10.3 or above and all with Administrator access. Each mac is used by one member of staff only. One member of staff maintains our client/supplier contacts database as an Excel worksheet on one of the macs, for mail merging with Word, marketing mail shots and other correspondence etc.
Other staff on the network need access to those up-to-date contacts on a daily basis and it is a pain accessing the Excel file all the time accross the network. I have my own pesonal .Mac membership account and I have successfully experimented with exporting the Excel file as a formatted text file (.txt) and importing the relevant fields from the file into Address Book. I intend empowering the 'contacts maintainer' to import the Excel contacts into her macs address book at periodic intervals....
Based on this scenario, my questions are as follows:
a) Can other staff access/share her address book contacts over the network in their local copy of Address Book without a .Mac account?
b) If she is set up with a .Mac account on her Mac...
i) I can subscribe to her address book through my copy of Address Book as I have a .Mac account already - how will this display in my Address Book (Will it automatically creat a new Group?)
ii) Do other staff have to have individual .Mac accounts in order to subscribe to her Address Book contacts (and do they need the full .Mac Membership) – Could they not simply enter her .Mac member details in their macs System Prefs>.Mac>Account and then synchronise Contacts (and possibly iCal Calendars) as this is all they would require it for?
c) Is there a simpler way to achieve all this at minimal cost?
d) Is Directory Access>Contacts involved in a possible alternative solution or am I 'barking up the wrong tree'?
Would appreciate some help with this ASAP!

The good news is YES, sharing an Address Book group(s) is easily done without .Mac
Since you are on an ethernet network, all you need to do is:
1. Enable Sharing thru System Preferences from your "main" computer you wish to transfer data from/with.
2. Drag your AB group(s) or individual cards to the desktop of your main computer - the one you have all the info in... (the cards will convert to vCards automatically.
3. Place those groups or cards in your Drop Box folder which is: Hard Drive>Users>your "Home" folder>Public>Drop Box
4. All networked computers will be able to access your Drop Box folder even if you do not want other info shared.
Of course .Mac is pretty darn handy too!

(M) - 009251026226If you're not going to host the wiki yourself and you want the Mac OSX Wiki, then it's either use the full OSX Virtual Server. If you can host the wiki, then buy a MAC-Mini (w/ OSX). You're going to need at least a T1 line (with a static IP) in order to make that work. Folks attaching to the wiki need upload speed.
So by the time you get done adding up all the expenses a remotely hosted virtual server may be your best bet.

Getting Drop Down list for a field in portal based on the values in R/3
Hi,
Presently we were customizing the ESS>>Family Members/Dependants iview in Portal. Because of the design requirement, in R/3 we have added some custom field for infotype 21 (Family Member details Infotype). We have to display these field on portal in Family Member Iview.
However for these custom fields i am not able to get the drop down list with all the possible values description(F4 help ) in portal unlike the standard SAP fields.
I am able to display the codes but the description is not coming up for the fields. However for standard SAP field, only description comes.
For this I tried to attach the search help to the data element and also assigned a check table to the data element in R/3. But still I am not getting the description in the drop down.
So how can I get the description and only the description in the drop down.

When you run the Search hep is it giving the description or not
You have to create the serarch help with both the fieldname and its description field then we cna the values. Or
Try to mantain the text table for this field and get the data.
Get the valeusinto drop drown with this table Or create the SearchHelp for this text table

How do I update the result table ?
I am having problem to design and update the competition results in WPC_RESULTS table.
I have 3 tables
1. WPC_COMPETITION - It has details of the competition to be conducted.
2. WPC_MEMBERS - Member details.
3. WPC_RESULTS - Competition results which will have Member_ID, Competition_ID and Status.
In Region 1. I have a drop down list from which I can select the Competition.
Problem is with region 2.

In Region 2. I plan to have All the Member's Name from WPC_MEMBERS, a Status column (W=Win or L=Lost or X=NotPlayed) from WPC_RESULT which can be updated. But the table WPC_RESULTS dosenot have a primary key but has 2 foreign key one from WPC_COMPETITION and one from WPC_MEMBERS.
I am just not able to plan & create this region 2.

What I am trying is,
On a form which displays all the member in WPC_MEMBERS, Drop down list of competition name from WPC_COMPETITION table and a there should be checkbox for status column of WPC_RESULT. So my challenge is to update the WPC_RESULT table with the respective member id and competition id and status in WPC_RESULT table.
As you said I can use a PL/SQL, but I could not understand how do create my PLSQL block to identify each member on the form and update the competition status associated with that member.
