Member only area in Muse

I am starting to work with Adobe Muse. I need a members only area in that website and I am hosting it on BC. Can that be done? And how?

Facebook, G+ and twitter only work in muse, why not when html is exported?

Below are the three codes I placed in Object/Insert HTML on my Master page, plus partial screen shots of the two results. When I previes, preview in browser and publish from Muse to a BC platform, all looks as I planned and the button function. But, when I export the HTML to upload to my host, it becomes corrupted and nothing functions. Since there is no real support (Phone support won't help if they know I'm using an outside host) there are no manuals and most of the member responses are very short on specifics for people like me who are not HTML literate. I use Muse because I was told I didn't need to know coding, but it seems not to be entirely true. PLEASE - I need to resolve this issue - and I haven't even started trying to put in 'snippets'

I have not launched the lastest exported HML from my host's server because I cannot have it go up until I know it is going to work. The version I am basing my fears on is the site that opens in my Chrome browser once the HTML export from Muse is completed. The next step for me is to FTP if to my host. I suppose I could upload it in a different forder and then point to it and test it, but usually what I see on my browser after a Muse export is what I get when I launch it. Members only area of website and how to connect it to existing database

I am trying to create a members login section on an existing website. We have a MS Access database of clients, and I need the website login creation to be able to look at our database and only let the person create an account, if they are on that list.
I've successfully completed a walkthrough/tutorial on creating a members only area of a website, but that allows anyone and everyone to create an account. I need a way to force that check before the new user account is allowed. Any help will ge greatly appreciated!

According to your description, I think your issue is more about how to connect to Access database from your web site, instead of Access development.
Which type of connection do you want to use? Is it ADO.NET?
If so, I suggest you posting in ADO.NET Managed Providers
forum for more effective responses.
If not, you can choose a proper forum based on the type of the connection or your developing language.

How can I get around VoiceOver in iOS 5 requiring 4-5 taps in the "Purchased" search in the App Store? It's the ONLY area you have to do this with! A glitch???

It's the ONLY area you have to do this with! A glitch??? I sure hope so! But, at this point, I have torn the entire VoiceOver app apart to the nth degree and have isolated this issue to THIS area ONLY.

Newest OS. Never happened with old OS! Cycling phone on/off does not help. Ignoring message causes phone to cycle off then on. After first time this happened, I restored. Six days later...same problem! Clearly a new fix is necessary. Suggestions?

I have not tried that...I will look up the process so that I can do it correctly (and still transfer all of my files, contacts, etc). Any suggestions? What is the advantage of restoring as a new device..is this more akin to a complete wipe of a hard drive?

e.g. the below line does not work because you cannot directly use member sets in an IF statement.
IF ((@CHILDREN ("Profit")==#MISSING))
If I explicitly list all children in the IF statement, it will work, but there is alot of hardcoding.

We have a BSO app and we need to query the account without aggregating the data..
We have 4 accounts sitting under Profit:
Profit
     A001
     A002
     A003
     A004
@SUM (@DESCENDANTS ("Profit")) works fine, but we also need to sum the accounts for the parent member of the current business that is evaluated, I have tried @SUM (@DESCENDANTS ("Profit")->@PARENT ("Business")) but this does not work.
This however works...

Still very new to this DWCS3. I need to implement a members

sure how to do this. Is it just a matter of password

You can do what you want using the User Authentication server
behaviors in
DW CS3. You need to get familiar with using server models ..
you can do
this in ASP, Cold Fusion, PHP .. any number of options. Use
the one you
have the most experience with.
Then go to the Adobe Developer Connection .. there are
tutorials that can
help you get this started. There are also guides in the DW
help.

Create Members Only Area

I've never created a "members only" area of a web site
before. I'm having trouble conceptualizing how it will fit in with
the rest of my design. Does it work like this:
User goes to main home page, finds members only login and
logs into members only area.
What does this page look like? Does it have the same
navigation buttons as the main page, but new, additional ones to
get from place to place in the members area?
OR does the members area have a completely different set of
buttons at the top, with one of them, "return to public area"?
I can't picture the flow. Can anyone help? I'd also love tips
on how to do it! I know our server offers some application I
haven't tried yet.

SAP BPC 7.5 NW SP15 - Dimension member descriptions are missing

Hi Expert,
We are using SAP BPC 7.5 NW SP 15, we use admin and client in spanish language see image attached
All users see through BPC CLIENT for Excel in spanish mode both ID and descriptions but when we added new user it can´t, just it can see ID member. We refresh Dim Cache member from client side but nothing happens.
We reprocess All dimensions through BPC Admin Client in spanish mode and doesn´t have any efect in dimension description?
is there any issue with this?

We checked though BW and saw it that long descriptions were set in Spanish language key which is the same language as BPC for Excel was openend.
As solution we checked at UJA3_USER_LANGU table, we notice that users in which descriptions are missing were registered in English language, therefore we deleted this user and its language and then was recreated those users through BPC ADMIN client.

Greyed out songs only are displayed when iPhone is connected to iTunes? How do I fix?

I've googled everything available on the internet to fix this problem, nothing works. Deleted itunes library files, deleted itunes_control folder on iphone using iExplorer, tried manually removing greyed out songs... but they come back everytime. It's only songs that iv'e downloaded for free from itunes. I have not one single song in my itunes library and nothing in the cloud either. 15 songs are hidden, but apparently they always like to show up on my iphone as greyed out, only when connected to itunes. Nothing i displayed on my phone it's while using it. Very frustrated. Pls Help.

Alternatively, place the device in recovery mode and restore it to erase the device:
Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device.

I have a situation that i have to give access to allias member ,with the same name there r a lot of shared member.
Please let me know ,if there is any syntex where i can give access to the member which is tagged as allias .

Assuming that you are using Maxl scripts to create filter
create or replace filter 'App'.'db'.'Group Name ' read on '@IDESC("Dimensions") , @IDESC( ) ....';
Later use :
grant filter 'App'.'db'.'Group Name' TO 'Group Name in Shared services';
May be you can create a new Group for the shared members , or it really does not matter .
I am assuming that I got your question correct.

Songs by artists N-Z only, are dead.

Not sure what happened here - downloaded latest iTunes, and now all songs by artists N-Z have just fallen dead; they will not play not on iTunes or on the iPod all together.
Is my only option to restore and reload? I have a 4th gen 20G iPod.

The songs show up on both iTunes and the iPod. When I try to play them on iTunes, iTunes just stops and if you click play, nothing happens. When I try to play them on iPod, they just forward ahead to the next song, and then the next, until I'm back at the main menu.
Also, I'm not sure if it is just exclusively N-Z...I think there are some in the first half of the alpha as well.

Website shows corrupted animations in Chrome (Mac) only - fine before Muse upgrade

Site working perfectly the last 2 weeks, suddenly after the upgrade this week, I'm having issues with the embedded Edge animations for social media buttons and the primary navigation.
More strange is that this seems to only occur in Google Chrome for Mac, fine in other browsers and on PCs.

I've experienced this issue as well, with my Mac Pro (1,1) and 10.6.4. I just tried booting from 10.6.0, and my 7300gt vram shows up again (256mb instead of 0).
Are we sure it's 10.6.4, and not version 1, 2, or 3 of SL that causes the 0 vram problem?
Also: I upgraded to an Apple Radeon 5700. It works, but I'm not sure it's worth it. On the downside, it's louder than the original (Geforce 7300gt) card. Also, with the new card, when I wake the Mac Pro from sleep I get the blue screen for 5-10 seconds--it takes a lot longer to wake, which is kind of annoying. And I realize it's a much higher performing card, but I'm not sure if I'm benefiting from it. I don't play games...I do use Lightroom a lot, but I've heard it's not the graphics card that will affect performance, it's the memory and processor.
Any thoughts?

Where are the Muse reviews?

Not sure if this is the right place to bring this up, but I couldn't see anywhere else on the forum more appropriate.
I was e-mailed quite a while ago now asking if I would write a review of Muse, which I duly did, and submitted it.
I then got a message back from Adobe, now over two weeks ago, that my review had been accepted and was "live on our site".
Well, the link supposedly to my review that was in the message just goes to the Muse homepage, after several re-directs, and I can find no reviews of Muse anywhere on the Adobe site!
So, what's all that about? Where exactly are these reviews?

Those are the 4 key factors we consider when working to improve code generation from Muse. One thing that's very important to many hand-coders that is much lower priority for us is generating code intended for maintenance by a hand-coder.
Most of the negative comments regarding Muse code date back from Public Beta 1, a year ago August, and/or those lending their "me to's" without actually looking at the current code output. There have been huge improvements to Muse code generation (and all aspects of Muse) since Public Beta 1 and we still have a long list of additional potential improvements we've identified. We'll continue to work our way through that list (and add to it, when additional potential improvements are identified) and make improvements to Muse output with virtually every new release—improvements Muse users can take full advantage of by simply updating and opening and re-exporting/uploading/publishing their sites.
