"Memory Allocation Error" when Building a DVD

Hi all!
I have a problem. When I start to build a DVD. Encore stops with a "memory allocation error". The project I tried to build is 3.06 GB, so it's must fit to a simple DVD. My HDD has enought free space.
I tried to build it on two totally different computers but the error is the same. I didn't find any answer for this error. Can anybody help me?
I use Encore CS4, and the project is made in Premiere Pro CS3.
The computer #1:
Windows Vista (but I tried also with XP)
1 GB RAM
250 GB HDD
The computer #2:
Windows Vista
2 GB RAM
160 GB HDD

I get the same! I was having an issue with video files from my digital camera, so I opened up Premiere CS3, which took them in and encoded them to MPEG-2 just fine (tisk-tisk! Premiere and Encore CS4 both failed to play them or encode them properly!!!)
Them I put these MP2 files into a project which has 2 menus, 4 video timelines, 2 slideshows with 200+ images and some background audio files (one linked to a menu, another plays in sequence after first finishes). The project is for PAL screen, and it is 4-some Gb, but less than a disk. I have 4Gb of RAM and 6Gb of page file, 70Gb free on my HDD. Running Vista Ultimate x64.
Slideshows render, and videos do not require transcoding, so the project is ready to build, it starts writing the ISO file, and crashes after 1.8-1.9Gb is written.
There seems to be no easy way to re-create my slideshow, or I would have just re-built the entire Encore file to see if that would work.
My PC is overclocked, I admit, I have not tried it without an overclock, but my system has been uber-stable for 12+ months! I will try and report if it fixes anything, but I doubt it. I have also tried to run this build after a fresh reboot with mostly everything turned off, to prevent system conflicts. If that's what it is, I must have missed something. But Encore CS4 is BUGGY LIKE GOD KNOWS WHAT!!!!! This is one crash I can't get around, but it's not the only one I've had. If anyone knows an answer, PLEASE post it here! Adobe guys please please please please! My project's already held up for a month!

  • Memory allocation error when burning in premiere elements 2

I have premiere elements 2. I happily burnt a version of my dvd then suddenly it stopped burning and I had the above message during the burning section of the process. My computer has adequate memory to run this programme and nothing new has been added. I then downloaded Premiere elements 7 as a trial and burnt this Dvd yesterday. However today it won't burn through 7 either so i am reluctant to upgrade unnecessarily. Can anyone shed light on why I receive this error message.
Other things seem to burn but I am beginning to receive messages that Adobe is low generally on memory allocation.

  • Encore - Memory Allocation Error - With Dynamic Link

    CS4 using Vista
The process (AdobeEncore.exe *32) gets stuck at 959,736K while 6GB is available.
In the past I have built many DVDs using a Dynamic Link from Encore to Premiere Pro.
Now they all end in errors: Memory Allocation Error & Unable to Create Image Buffer.
I monitored the process in the Windows Task Manager.
The memory use for the (AdobeEncore.exe *32) process grows until it reaches  959,736K.
The memory use stops there but the process continues for a while and then Encore stops with the errors.
I guess is that (AdobeEncore.exe *32) has become limited to 1GB but the is plenty of memory available.
I can Import a file and make a DVD without using the Dynamic Link.
    Thanks

    Was probably a hardware issue.

  • Memory allocation error with disk image

I'm having recurring problems with a large encrypted sparseimage that I mount at /Users (an arrangement I prefer to FileVault.) The file contains one journaled HFS+ partition. Every so often, open files on the volume vanish or become unwritable. At the same time, I get a long series of messages in the system log of the form
    kernel[0]: disk4s2: memory allocation error.
There's plenty of memory available. When this happens, I have to log out all staff users, then unmount and remount the image. When I do so, fsck finds corrupted i-nodes, which it's able to repair. All is then well for a few days, except that the files that were affected when the problem occurred are gone and have to be replaced. I've tried the obvious things many times: creating a new image file from backups, deleting kernel caches, etc.
This looks like a bug in the HDI driver. I'd be thankful for genuine insight from anyone who actually knows something. Responses such as "Repair permissions" or "Reinstall Mac OS X" aren't needed. Thanks.

    Hi,

  • Memory Allocation Error during Boot

    Hi,
I am posting this on a different computer than the one on which I istalled Java because I can no longer get it to boot.
    Here's the history:
I am working in Windows 98
I added a line to the autoexec.bat so that the PATH lines looked like this:
    SET PATH=C:PROGRA~1\UTILIT~1\SYMATEC\PCANYW~1
    PATH=%PATH%;"C:Program Files\Mts";"C:j2sdk1.4.0_02\bin
I then rebooted and tried the javac and java commands in different folders and everything worked fine. I shut down the computer and tried to reboot a day later. The following are pieces of the message I received (I don't usually go near the autoexec.bat or system settings so I have no idea how to get past these errors, nor fix them):

0090:1921This shouldn't have been caused by the Java installation. As I understand the situation, at load time scandisk has been called. This is usually due to the computer not having been shut down properly, or a sign of real problems. However, scandisk is unable to run.
You should try a forum/newsgroup for Windows for more help. My own suggestion would be to load to the command prompt (or try safe mode). (Press F8 during boot to get a menu.) And then run scandisk manually. If it works, try renaming the C:\WINDOWS\SCANDISK.ALT file and rebooting.

  • Error When building ess/tra/tre and ess/tra/tre/trs DC's

I had customized the ess/tra/tre and ess/tra/tre/trs DC's and had them working, but I do not know what I did or what happened that am now getting the following errors when building, can anyone help tell what the problem could be?
    Error
    -     The project was not built since its classpath is incomplete. Cannot find the class file for com.sap.xss.tra.model.openccmodel.OVSOpenCostcenterModel. Fix the classpath then try rebuilding this project.

    Error
    -     This compilation unit indirectly references the missing type com.sap.xss.tra.model.openccmodel.OVSOpenCostcenterModel (typically some required class file is referencing a type outside the classpath)

    -      HDI_HNS15.02_Desstratresap.com/gen_wdp/packages/com/sap/xss/tra/tre/vc/review/wdp

For anyone who might need to know, I managed to fix this by adding tra to the required projects on the build path. On the Navigator View, right click -> Properties -> Java Build Path -> Projects tab -> check dependant project.

  • Memory Full error when using Main Report Preview in VStudio 2010

    Framework 4.0.30319
    VStudio 10.0.20.219.1
    SAP Version- 13.0.2000.0
CR 2008 on local machine- 12.2.0.290
I don't get memory full error when I run the report with my locally installed cr 2008.  If I go into my visual studio and do a main report preview I get memory full error.
I get this error running same report in cr 2008- MochiKit is undefined.  An error has occurred in the script on this page.  file:///c:/Program%20(x86)Business%20Objects/Common/4.0/Crystalreportviewers12/js/crviewer/html.js
I can get past that error and report works fine.  I can take the rpt file in vs2010 and it runs from the aspx page with the viewer.  But I ca't do a preview from the editing of the rpt file.
Any way to trouble shoot where the memory problem is when doing a preview? Makes it really hard to test other dlls when it does this.

Are you a Developer or QA or end user? Have you discussed this with your Developer at all? We seem to keep going around in circles. Your Developer should know what he did and how to deploy your app and CR assemblies and what to use.
Subject line is VS 2010, CR for VS 2010 is the only version supported in VS 2010. CR 2008 doesn't have 64 bit runtime. therefore it's not an option, your WEB Servers app pool MUST run in 32 bit mode only if you are using CR 2008.
"If I install the 64 bit version of SAP CR. Should the assembly change in the aspx files? different version number?" Nothing in your app, just deploy the 64 bit runtime and set your app pool to run in 64 bit mode.
If you are using CR for VS 2010 then you can run your WEB server in 64 bit mode and use CR for VS 2010 64 redist files on your WEB server. Then all DB Drivers, Printers and anything else MUST be installed in 64 bit versions. This includes what ever dependencies your UFL has, they too must also support 64 bit platform.
NO Additional requirements to be done or used for 64 bit WEB applciations, just requires IIS App Pool to be run in 64 bit mode and all dependencies available in 64 bits. ODBC DSN is created using the 64 bit ODBC Administrator, Printers support 64 bit applications.
And your UFL and any of it's dependencies must be located in as well as GAC'd if it's required, once again check with your UFL developer:
C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Common\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64

Well I am truly staggered, I have tried this on two different MacBook Pros, with three different external USB optical drives. Don't know if you googled as I suggested but you would find hundreds of others who have found same thing. The exception is MacBook Air which works with the Apple writer, but I don't know much about this.
Were you doing any of the special workarounds with refedit etc?
    What model USB DVD drive?

  • Icon path restricted error when building release version for ipad3

    Hi,
i get the following error when building the release build ipa file for ipad 3: "The path icon.png is restricted. If you were trying to package Icon.png you should correct the case."  In debug mode everything works. My icon is under assets folder and added in the app-xml with:
    <icon>
    <image72x72>assets/icon_72.png</image72x72>
    </icon>
Did I missed something in configuration? Seems to be that the problem is known but cant find a solution for it. If i try to packegae per command line despite the fact building works I could not install the app. When I change the icon tag to use no icon everything works fine. Any ideas?
    Greetz and thanks in advance!

I solved it. When you export the release build you can choose package contents to be compiled in the ipa. When I tried to add an icon at first I named it icon.png, which seems to be a reserved name. The configuration to include this icon.png was still saved though i deleted it. Wired... After unchecking the ceckbox for icon.png not to be compiled in the ipa, the release build was build.

  • I get a "vi is not executable" error when building an application.

I have an ongoing project that has worked fine in the past when building an application. I have recently added some report generation toolkit vis(Excel) and get an error for some of the ni vis and some of my own that call lower level excel vis. The error is that he vi is not executable, however they run fine in the development environment. I do not get this error if I save all vi's into one llb with save with options command and then build. However, when I try to run the app, this error re-appears. Also, do I have to add the dynamically loaded vi's that are part of the toolkit in my build script? Could this be the cause of the problem? If so, what's the best way to find all of them? Any suggestions?

You have hit in on the nail! You do need to add the dynamically loaded VIs when you are creating an executable from your VI. You need to add _wordsub.lib and _exclsub.lib as dynamically loaded VIs into your executable. Try this and let us know if you have any more problems with it.

  • Why do I get 'ResolveManifestFiles task failed' error when building a WPF app that references WinRT API?

I am working on a WPF app that I want to create for Windows 8. I followed steps mentioned in
Hansleman's blog to make some manual modifications using WinRT functions in a WPF app. Everything worked well, until I tried to publish the app. When I clicked on publishing the app I got error "The 'ResolveManifestFiles' task failed unexpectedly.
System.ArgumentException: Value does not fall within the expected range."
Afterwards, it will produce the same error when attempting a simple solution build.
Even if you create a simple WPF project and add the references mentioned in blog to access WinRT functions and publish, this issue can be reproduced.
I think it would be common scenario to call WinRT functions from WPF and someone should have done it. Is anyone aware what should be done to fix this issue?

I am having the same problems and came across this article while researching a workaround.
It is surprising more people aren’t talking about this.
Here are the steps to reproduce the problem; Using Visual Studio Express 2012 (x64) create a new VB Windows Forms Application.
Unload the project and edit the [ProjName].vbproj in the solution explorer.
    Add <TargetPlatformVersion>8.0</TargetPlatformVersion> to the <PropertyGroup>.
Save and reload the project.  In Add Resource/Reference Manager add the Windows.minmd found under Windows/Core.
This WinRT/Desktop solution will run as expected.  Now try to Publish this solution.
It will FAIL with the following ERROR; “The ResolveManifestFiles task failed unexpectedly, Value does not fall within the expected range.”
Attempting to build or run the solution again now will fail with the same Error.
The only way to build the project now is to remove the “Enable ClickOnce security settings” option under the project properties Security settings.
Occasionally using this trick, the solution will build but not run.
When that happens jiggle around with Debug/Release Solution Configurations and the Any CPU/x64 Solution Platforms then rebuild and try the run again.
This fussing around will get you through development however any attempt to publish with restore the ClickOnce security setting and create the previous Error.
The first question here is how do you publish a WinRT app for the desktop with VS2012 Express.
Then secondly, if that is not possible can we publish this Express solution with a 3rd party deployment tool like InstallShield Limited Edition or the WIX Toolset.
Neither however seems functional in a VS Express environment.
Then thirdly, are there ways to access hardware sensor devices from a desktop solution without resorting to the WinRT API.
Any ideas or new research directions would be greatly appreciated.

  • IDVD 7.1.1(1150) Error when create a DVD

    Hi @ all,
I hope you can help me with this stupid problem.
A friend of mine created two videos for me in AfterEffects CS4. The first video is a youtube clip with pictures fading in and out.
The second one is a video only with pictures and sound. (Each is about 10 minutes long)
The videos where renderd in QuickTime format with AIC compression and in QuickTime Format with standard settings.
Both videos can be played in QuickTime Player without errors.
    Now the Problem:
I wanted to create a DVD with both videos for playing them on TV. I created an iDVD Project without Submenus.
The videos should be able to be selected in the mainmenu. I changed the heading of the menu and the titles of the films (without signs like dot oder sth. only spaces between the words). The apple Logo is also hidden. The DropBox is filled automatically.
When I am trying to save the DVD as Video_TS folder, iDVD renders the menu and then crashes when it starts to render the movies.
Until now I got two different errors when I was trying to get the DVD saved. Either iDVD crahes completely or it gets me a Multiplexing Error (Error while muxing...)
We tried all combinations of rendering modes in After Effects, but every time the same.
I also deleted com.apple.iDVD.plist and com.apple.iDVD.LSSharedFileList.plist and restarted iDVD but there was no effect.
What's wrong with the program or what did we wrong ;-)?!?
I'm at the end of my knowledge to handle this.....
Does anyone know what to do, or knows a tip how to get iDVD working?
PS: There is a strange thing that I noticed this evening. Every time when I am trying to create the DVD, the estimated time for finishing the project gets a little longer. At the moment iDVD estimates one hour and about 8 to 15 minutes. (I dont know if this has anything to do with the problem).
Thanks a lot for your help.
    Regards
    Numelle from Germany

    Hello Numelle,
I don't have any experience with AfterEffects, but problems like this can be related to export formats, to hardware, or to iDVD.  Here's a start at working through your situation:
Export formats - iDVD can handle a variety, but DV Stream (.dv) is one of the Quicktime options which is most compatible with iMovie and iDVD.
Hardware - if the problem is happening during rendering, this is when the greatest demand is being placed on your processor.  Quit from other applications and make sure you have enough free space on your boot drive (your main hard drive) for "scratch space."  You'll want to have a minimum of 10 gigs of free space for iDVD to work.
iDVD - looks like you're running an older version of iDVD with a new operating system.  Check around the forum to see if others are having any compatibility problems, especially with Quicktime (since the operating system and iDVD are both using Quicktime elements).
