Memory Keeps on filling up on it's own

It started last night when my Macbook Pro said it was filled up, this seemed odd to me but I just thought I wasn't keeping an eye on it. So I deleted 14 gigs of stuff. Than I come back in the afternoon and it said it was filled again.
Now when I deleted that stuff the night before I made sure I empty the trash can.
Also the Macbook has been hooked up to the internet in a week.
So I don't know how this crap could have filled back up.
Can some one please help me? Is there a way to clear any temp. files that might be somewhere and if so where are they? What else could be putting stuff on my hard drive without me doing it on my own since I'm not connected to anything?

In your case, where the disk fills rapidly, the advice towards the end of the linked article about using Console to view log files if probably going to point you in the right direction.
Just for clarification, memory refers to the RAM chips installed in your computer and is different from hard drive space, which is what you are trying to reclaim.

Connect the iPod to your computer and look at the storage used by the various categories as shown in the colored bargarph in iTunes.
Come back with the results.
An "other" larger tha about 1 1/2 usually indicates that the "other" includes corrupted files.

Why is Uncategorized Used Memory keeps increasing???

Hello, I'm making an Android game with Flash pro cc. And now I'm testing performance using the Scout. So I ran my game with Flash Pro cc's Control - Test Movie - Air Debug Launcher. And I played about 5 levels of my game, but the number of "Uncategorized" under Used Memory keeps increasing. Others such as Action Script Objects, Bitmap, ByteArrays under Used Memory decreases over time which I think it means it's garbage collecting. Is it normal to have Uncategorized keep increasing??? If no, how can I fix it so that it decreases??

In my experience, it's inconsistent and can at times consume a lot, while other times not so much. It's a nuiscance category for sure. Don't count on being able to reduce it will a silver bullet.

While it's normal for your charger to feel hot due to its function, sometimes there's too much heat.
If your charger becomes so hot that you cannot touch it or you note a strange smell, your charger is malfunctioning and should be replaced.
A charger that malfunctions could damage the iPad battery, which also may need a replacement.

i'm using windows 2k to run my application.
i can monitor the usage of memory. what i found from my application is the memory keep increase every time i execute i function.
and util 1 time the memory maximum usage and my java application 'hang'.
and need to restart. only the meory release and refresh and will goes the same.

We do this in my family now. We have one account for purchases, so it is used to share music and apps (I think that is in Settings/iTunes & App Stores). Each iDevice has this configured.
Then, each of us has our own iCloud account that is configured under Settings/iCloud. That then allows us to have our own Mail/Contacts/Calendars/Reminders/Safari Bookmarks/Notes/Passbook/Photo Stream/Documents & Data/Find My iPhone/and Backup. That Backup piece is pretty sweet and comes in handly if you replace your iDevice. You can just restore from it.
So we all share the Apple Store account but we all have our own iCloud accounts to keep the rest seperate or things like you mentioned are a nightmare.

Think of it as an internet based ("cloud") area for all of those items listed in my response. What you need to remember is photo stream only maintans the last 1000 pictures so don't count it as a complete backup solution for your pictures. Even though I rarely sync with a computer these days, I do still try to sync my phone with iPhoto (I have an iMac) so that I have copies of all of my pictures. 1000 may not stretch as far as it sounds.

Your question is almost too much a personal one, begging the question "do we (husband and wife) feel comfy sharing one account on the Mac" maybe thats why nobody answered you.
It doesnt complicate anything, but it adds steps for switching accounts on the Mac/ purchases etc. of course
since your question is mostly personal, ..I wont answer THAT part of it, but creating a new account is easy.....messing with switching back and forth is also a personal preference 'issue' as well. I prefer to keep things simple, but...........you and yours, I dont know.......

Why does the memory keep depleting? Is it kernel_task?

It seems that recently the memory available continues to decrease. What seems to solve it is 'quitting' Safari and re-launching, along with running "Memory Clean" from the OS App store. I had somehow wound up with an adware called cinema hd, and it attached as a plugin, but I removed it. However, seems that simply scrolling through Facebook and refreshing Facebook causes the memory to deplete the longer I do that. Again, running Memory Clean that takes just a few seconds, and it seems to fix. Seems this just started happening over the last few weeks.
That all said, I accidentally 'hijacked' another post, so I have started a new one to help troubleshoot my issue. Clearly I have something on here that is sucking up memory over time. When I run Activity Monitor and hit the Memory tab, kernel_task seems to float to the top, and right now is 764.2MB as I'm typing this post. Following that is SymDaemon at 343.8MB, then the two browser tabs I have open in Safari. Then it drops down to double digits: Windows Server 73MB, Messages 61MB and on down.
Here is the info from an EtreCheck which was advised to someone else on another thread.
Any suggestions? This Mac has always run great - so I think I just need to undo something.

Uninstall Symantec according to its instructions. One or more of the following should be applicable:

That is a popular misconception and oversimplification. Non-Apple "anti-virus" products such as Symantec / Norton serve no beneficial purpose and are only likely to contribute to problems.
In general "anti-virus" software began to outgrow its usefulness with the demise of Windows. It's completely ineffective against the kinds of threats that exist today, a fact that Symantec's senior VP for information security admitted a short time ago, declaring "anti-virus" software "dead" while petulantly admitting the real reason is that it doesn't make any money. Read below.
Don't use garbage apps such a "Memory Clean" either. In an admittedly broad generalization, do not install anything claiming to "clean" your Mac. If they aren't worthless, they're malicious. They'll all waste your time and / or money.
There will always be threats to your information security associated with using any Internet - connected communications tool:
You can mitigate those threats by following commonsense practices
Delegating that responsibility to software is an ineffective defense
Assuming that any product will protect you from those threats is a hazardous attitude that is likely to result in neglecting point #1 above.
OS X already includes everything it needs to protect itself from viruses and malware. Keep it that way with software updates from Apple.
A much better question is "how should I protect my Mac":
Never install any product that claims to "clean up", "speed up", "optimize", "boost" or "accelerate" your Mac; to "wash" it, "tune" it, or to make it "shiny". Those claims are absurd.Such products are very aggressively marketed. They are all scams.
Never install pirated or "cracked" software, software obtained from dubious websites, or other questionable sources.
Illegally obtained software is almost certain to contain malware.
"Questionable sources" include but are not limited to spontaneously appearing web pages or popups, download hosting sites such as C net dot com, Softonic dot com, Soft pedia dot com, Download dot com, Mac Update dot com, or any other site whose revenue is primarily derived from junk product advertisements.
If you need to install software that isn't available from the Mac App Store, obtain it only from legitimate sources authorized by the software's developer.
Don’t supply your password in response to a popup window requesting it, unless you know what it is and the reason your credentials are required.
Don’t open email attachments from email addresses that you do not recognize, or click links contained in an email:
Most of these are scams that direct you to fraudulent sites that attempt to convince you to disclose personal information.
Such "phishing" attempts are the 21st century equivalent of a social exploit that has existed since the dawn of civilization. Don’t fall for it.
Apple will never ask you to reveal personal information in an email. If you receive an unexpected email from Apple saying your account will be closed unless you take immediate action, just ignore it. If your iCloud, iTunes, or App Store account becomes disabled for valid reasons, you will know when you try to buy something or log in to this support site, and are unable to.
Don’t install browser extensions unless you understand their purpose. Go to the Safari menu > Preferences > Extensions. If you see any extensions that you do not recognize or understand, simply click the Uninstall button and they will be gone.
Don’t install Java unless you are certain that you need it:
Java, a non-Apple product, is a potential vector for malware. If you are required to use Java, be mindful of that possibility.
Java can be disabled in System Preferences.
Despite its name JavaScript is unrelated to Java. No malware can infect your Mac through JavaScript. It’s OK to leave it enabled.
The same precaution applies to Adobe Flash Player. New Flash vulnerabilities appear almost weekly.
Beware spontaneous popups: Safari menu > Preferences > Security > check "Block popup windows".
Popup windows are useful and required for some websites, but unsolicited popups are commonly used to deceive people into installing unwanted software they would never intentionally install.
Popups themselves cannot infect your Mac, but many contain resource-hungry code that will slow down Internet browsing.
If you ever receive a popup window indicating that your Mac is infected with some ick or that you won some prize, it is 100% fraudulent. Ignore it.
The same goes for a spontaneously appearing dialog insisting that you upgrade your video player right this instant. Such popups are frequently associated with sites that promise to deliver "free" movies or other copyrighted content that is not normally "free".
The more insistent it is that you upgrade or install something, the more likely it is to be a scam. Close the window or tab and forget it.
Ignore hyperventilating popular media outlets that thrive by promoting fear and discord with entertainment products arrogantly presented as "news". Learn what real threats actually exist and how to arm yourself against them:
The most serious threat to your data security is phishing. Most of these attempts are pathetic and are easily recognized, but that hasn't stopped prominent public figures from recently succumbing to this age-old scam.
OS X viruses do not exist, but intentionally malicious or poorly written code, created by either nefarious or inept individuals, is nothing new.
Never install something without first knowing what it is, what it does, how it works, and how to get rid of it when you don’t want it any more.
If you elect to use "anti-virus" software, familiarize yourself with its limitations and potential to cause adverse effects, and apply the principle immediately preceding this one.
Most such utilities will only slow down and destabilize your Mac while they look for viruses that do not exist, conveying no benefit whatsoever - other than to make you "feel good" about security, when you should actually be exercising sound judgment, derived from accurate knowledge, based on verifiable facts.
Do install updates from Apple as they become available. No one knows more about Macs and how to protect them than the company that builds them.
Summary: Use common sense and caution when you use your Mac, just like you would in any social context. There is no product, utility, or magic talisman that can protect you from all the evils of mankind.

ALL Data Memory keeps getting cleared

Memory Manager - Connection Memory keeps increasing

I have a SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 STD with SQL and SSAS
running on 16 GB memory and Win 2008 R2 64 BIT, at the beginning, the Memory
Manager -> Database Memory takes most of the SQL used memory, but the Memory
Manager -> Connection Memory counter keeps increasing until it consumes
almost all memory after about a week. I have to restart SQL server to release
the memory used by Connection Memory.
Is there a way to release the
Connection Memory? Or how to know which connections are using all the
memory?

Keep Auto Fill Down A Column With Blank Cells

Hello,
I understand if one blank cell is left, auto fill cannot continue through out the rest of the column.
Is there a way to "trick" the cell into thinking there is information in the blank cell, in order for it to continue to auto-fill?

You could enter a space in a cell - it will appear to be blank. An apostrophe will work too - this makes the cell contain an empty string value.

Hey everyone, when my ipod( nano, 5th generation) was stucked, i deblockaded it, but then all the music and video's dissapeared.... And when i check thee info it says '6.4 GB others' and '567 MB free.... And don't know how this could happen but i really want all my music back!! And i cant put all the songs back because the laptop i used for this ipod crashed and it's still in the store to ffix it... So now i have a lapop that i borowod from the store but i only have 100 songs on that laptop ( manual mode, so i can put them on the ipod but i cant tpuch the others) and that means i would download 1200 songs, and that really takes a long time... And my memory is full, so i can't put new songs on it.... S, the question: is there a way i can get all my songs back?? And if that is impossible, how do i clear my memory, so it's free for new songs??

Well, shut my mouth! There was a similar question over to the right about a 6th generation nano repeating over and over again -- I read the answer to that one, followed the instructions, and holy crap, it's back to normal.
Is there a name for this when you end up replying to your own aggravating question? That's what I did. Now I can go out and listen. It's only 91 degrees. Heaven. Thanks, Apple.

Flash global memory keeps setting its self to 0

flash global memory sets its self to zero for web pages i have visited. the pages i have visited i want to have memory for them so they can have there flash cookies so the page displays properly and remembers my previous settings. latest version of flash, latest version of firefox

Iphone 6 memory keeps fluctuating

I have an iPhone 6 with 16GB with the latest updates. Every once in a while it says I have no memory at all so I delete an app or two and it does nothing. Then a little while later it says I have 5 GB available of memory. The apps I delete do not take anywhere near that much amount of space. It just recently started doing this. And then later after downloading a different app or taking a short video the memory goes back to 0 GB. Not too sure what is causing this.

Did you check for any photos still in the "recently deleted" album in the camera roll? Pictures you delete stay there for a while before they will be finally removed from the phone.
