Memory leak? Not sure what's going on..

I've been using Cinema4D for months, and this is the first time I've looked in Activity monitor during a render. *Note: I've tried rendering a tiny scene vs. a gigantic scene, and it's the same result. Eventually my entire computer crashes and I get an error. Here's images of everything..
It just constantly increases. (The Virtual Memory and Swap Memory/Memory sent to the hard drive)
My computer specs are as follows:
27" iMac (w/ 21" external display)
3.4 GHz i7 Processor
16GB of 1600MHz RAM
I have windows installed using BootCamp
NVIDIA GTX 680MX (2GB of GDDR5)
751GB SSD
Essentially, the late 2012 iMac completely maxed out.

One more thing to add. Here are my processor and power usage stats as well. (Even temperatures)

Garbled Images on the screen, not sure what is going on

Everything was going fine and then I left my computer on overnight and everything was garbled on the screen and couldn't be read. I connected it to an external display, same issue. I took a screen shot and sent to another Mac, and it showed all of the issues. I wish there was a way to post the image, it may help with coming up with a solution. I rebooted, no change. I reformatted and reinstalled 10.4, no change. The strange thing is, is that if I boot from my TechTool disc, everything looks fine. Also, if I boot into safe mode (shift key held down), everything looks fine as well. I am not sure what is going on, and what to do to fix it. Hopefully someone out there can point me in the right direction. I don't want to have to get rid of my iBook. TIA.

I have been slowly working on that 1.33 iBook but I've been busy, vacation and working. I have found suspicious looking solder joints in the area indicated and also on that Danish site. That might be a good idea I might try that with the 1.33 pressure on various chips while trying to boot.
As far as video memory there are two identical chips underneath and toward the video output from the ATI GPU chip. I don't see that they are clearly BGA but there's also no conventional peripheral conventional solder tabs or lands.
Another point, there are 2 huge and a large chip on this board and they're all BGA. The large one being the CPU. So there would also be another 3 points of failure. Any one of these that pressure corrects could be reballed or shim fixed.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Open up iTunes. Go to Store. Go to Account and sign in. Click on Purchase History. Find your purchase record.

Not sure what is going on. My contacts are importing names from Facebook that I have not approved. It won't let me delete some contacts. What's wrong?

Not sure what's going on. After upgrade there are contacts being added to my contact list from Facebook. Go to delete them and it won't let me delete them. Getting very frustrated. Need help.

Use your Settings app.
Settings > Facebook > turn off contacts.
Check to make sure calendars is also off so all your friends birthdays won't show up on your calendar.

Not sure what is going on

I have generation 2 ipod and recently purchased a generation 3 for my husband. when I turn the hold button to hold the i pod shuts off and when I plug it into the USB into the computer it doens't regester in itunes. I tried reseting the ipod, reboting the computer and the USB device and nothing is working. what am I doing wrong.

The "bars" have never been and will never be a very good indicator of signal quality. It's possible to have a very high signal strength reading and also a very high noise reading. This would yield a very poor quality signal, yet the bars would indicate a "strong" signal.

Think of your AirPort Express (or any other wireless transmitter) as a water sprinkler. You want to sprinkle as much water as possible into the room. The ideal location for an AirPort Express would be on the ceiling in the center of the room. That's not practical, but you need to try for the next best thing and that is a relatively clear area around the the Express so it can "sprinkle" more effectively. Maybe you could use an extension cable and a longer ethernet cable to find a more open location to the room.
A second "extending" AirPort Express or AirPort Extreme would definitely help provide a better s/n ratio in a remote location. You could connect a USB drive to the AirPort Extreme and the ethernet ports on the device would also be active. The USB port on an AirPort Express will only support a compatible printer.
You could also "reverse" the process and use an AirPort Extreme as the "main" router and Express as a remote extension device. (I'm assuming that you have an AirPort Express 802.11n now, as the earlier versions won't support the feature of "extend a wireless network"

When I connect my ipod to my computer, Itunes tells me the ipod is synced to another account. I only have one account. My only account is blank now. I'm not sure what is going on but I don't want to plug in my iphone or ipad now.

How did this happen?
Use your backup copy of your computer to put everything back.
You can sync iphone/ipad to one and only one itunes library at a time. Syncing to another will indeed erase the iphone.

Try starting Aperture with the command and option keys held down. You'll get 3 options.
Try each, starting at the top, in order, checking after each to see if it fixes the issue.

Need some help on Software Installation... not sure what is going on!!

OK... this should not be an issue and should be fairly straight forward. Having only been in the Mac world for a few months... I am still learning.
I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 for Mac... got it in today... thought I would just pop it in... go through a simple install... but no. Now let me say that I did download and run a demo version of this same software a month ago. Ran out of time and thought I had removed everything... but something is not right.
This is the message I get...

I have looked everywhere for the Setup Log files and don't have a clue where it is... used finder and spotlight. I don't understand the term incompatible payload.

Usually an Uninstaller does not have to be in a particular location to do its job. It knows the pathway to the files it is scheduled to remove. Download the uninstaller from Adobe and try running it from the Finder.
If for some reason that fails I would do two things. First download and install the trial or demo again. Then run the uninstaller. That should remove all vestiges of the demo.
I would also run the uninstaller, if there is one, for the purchased version and then do a fresh install. If there is no uninstaller for the full purchased version I would install it again over your first install to make sure any corruptions have been replaced with a fresh install.

Not sure what's going on with display.

I purchased a Big Bang Fuszon motherboard. I've been trying to get a nvidia geforce 8800gt to work.
Every time I load the driver, when it boots up in normal mode.
As soon as it boots into Windows, the screen goes black.
When I start into safe mode, and I check in the device manager. It's there:
The PCI device error, to my understanding is a lucid onboard device.
I even disabled it, and I still get the black screen.
I looked in setup, under integrated peripherals. And didn't see anything for it.
So I decided to look in the control panel. Low and behold, there they were.
Nvidia Control Panel and, Nvidia nView Desktop Manager:
The problem is in safe mode you can't access them. When I try to go into normal mode,
I get the black screen.
I'm told this can be done in Windows XP 64-bit edition.
You can't run the Hydra lucid stuff, but you can run SLI.
Has anybody been able to do this under Windows XP 64-bit edition?
If so, how did you do it?

I've got it now. I needed to run the setup exe, for 64 bit.
And let it overwrite about 12 dll files. I can only guess that it needed to revert back to XP.
I don't know if that was it or not, but the driver is loaded.

I did happen to find out, that one geforce gt 8800 is bad.
Now I'm thinking about upgrading display cards for a SLI setup.
I'm looking at the GTX 200 series, but I'm noticing some new cards.
The GTX 400 series. They have DDR 5, and DirectX 11. Which is a clear indication, it's for Windows 7.
I'm wondering, will the Big Bang Fuzion work with the GTX 400 series cards?

Don't use my AppleTV much. Go on, Netflix has no video images as would usually be the case. I went back out. Open up a news app but no thumbnail images there either. I click on a news item, wala, a video comes up and I watch for a few seconds. So, I decide, perhaps the software needs updated. I've been looking at the tv for quite a while now as supposedly an update is going on but, the bar for "Estimated time remaining" has absolutely no action going on.
I noticed my Ethernet cable was not connected so I decided to connect it even the news video ran just fine with WiFi.
Wish I had a clue where to begin here.

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device)

Check for 'others' in iTunes against your iPhone.
Restore from a previous backup to reclaim some of it.
Still want more, Restore in iTunes, setup as New.

When I import photos they show up in the photo tab but not in events. Not sure what's going on.

Today I tried to import photos from my camera into iPhoto 11. No problems up until today. I imported the photos as usual, but they did not show up in the events section. I went to the Photo section and they appeared there. I could even name the event there, but it still wasn't visible in Events. The only way to get it to show up was to merge the events in the Photo section into an event that was appearing and then split the event. Very strange. I imported from my iPhone 5 with no problems. Photos appeared in both Events and Photos. Anyone else have this happen? Solutions? I called support and they did not have any suggestions other than to try to restart computer. That didn't solve it.

You are probably looking in the wrong place - all photos in Photo view and in event too unless you have a corrupted library
most common cause of your not finding them is bad sort - view menu ==> sort events
Nest most common cause is a bad data/time on the camera - this can be corrected using a smart album to find the photos from that camera and then using using the adjust time/date command to fix the bad ones
YOu can alwasy find the event a Photo is in by selecting it and selecting show event
