Menu Asset not displaying

Hello
When I import an asset I'm using as my menu background into DVD Studio Pro I find that it won't display. It's definitely there, if I simulate then it appears and it even burns onto the final dvd. I need it to display though in order to place my buttons in the right place.
Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Well, what was it? We would like to know your solution so that we may find solutions to our questions as well. Please let us know. Thanks.

    I'm not clear on exactly what it is you're asking, but if you're referring to changing opacity, you can change the opacity setting for the States of a menu item via the States panel and Control Strip.

  • Horizontal Menu Bar - Not displaying correctly in Internet Explorer

    My issues are occuring in Internet Explorer 8 and 7, haven't tested earlier versions.
    I am currently using DW CS5, Spry 1.6.1
    The website (not yet complete) is at www3.sympatico.ca/mitchell.richard/
    The menu bar as viewed in Firefox is correct. In Internet Explorer the menu bar is left justified, hides visited links, and lists horizontal menu items in reverse order.

We don't have the funds to hire someone to build a website and it was decided and I quote "You know computers, you can buld the website". I couldn't get them to understand the analogy that just because a Neurosurgeon can use a scalpel he isn't a Cardiothoracic Surgeon... needless to say, I am floudering on this menu bar. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    The red coloured line causes your menu to be displayed the wrong way round in FF. IE shows the menu as you have listed it with Contact Us as the first item.
    Advice:
    change the float to left so that the listed items start on the left hand side
    change the listed items in the order that you want them to appear.

  • Horizontal spry menu dropdowns not displaying properly in IE7

    Hi,
    Grateful for any help!  I have a dreamweaver template which works fine on a Mac with Firefox and Safari, but when opened in IE7 on a PC the menu bar accros the top is ok but the dropdowns appear as a horizontal list, instead of vertical, and the submenues are not displayed.  The site is not available on the web Can anyone advise how to fix this please?
    I am using the default Spry code and Dreamweaver CS5, and have run Update to ensure latest versions, on iMac with Snow lepoard - also updated.
    Many thanks
    Richard

    Have a look here http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/samples/menubar/AutoWidthHorizontalMenuBarSample.h tml and when you get down near the bottom of the page add !important as per following
    ul.MenuBarHorizontal ul li {
    display: block;
    float: none !important;
    width: auto;
    white-space: nowrap;
    border-bottom: solid 1px #EEE;
    The !important will override any changes that the JS wants to make.

  • Menu bar not displaying in Internet Explorer 8

    I recently created the webpage http://sterlingfamilyfarm.com/index.html in Dreamweaver CC.
    I tested the site with http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ and http://validator.w3.org/ and all seemed good.
    But the menu bar is not displaying in IE8... it's displaying as a bulleted list instead.
    Also the footer is not displaying properly (not centered, no background color).
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you!
    Patrick

    <header> and <footer> are html5 semantic tags. Old non-html5 browsers (like IE8) don't know how to handle them without a little help.
    Add this code to your <head>
    <!--[if lt IE 9]>
         <script src="//html5shiv.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/html5.js"></script>
    <![endif]-->
    Or better yet, download the .js file and add it to your site, then link to it, that way you won't depend on third party servers keeping the file in the same location...

  • LXDE panel menu does not display in regular user mode

    Hello All,
    Running arch on eeepc 1000HE.  Running openbox with lxde.  The menu on the panel does not display when in a regular user mode, but does display when in su mode.  The button for the menu displays but when pressed the menu is blank.  It seemed as if the /usr/share/application file was not being read properly so I changed the owner to my user to see if it was a permission issue.  That did not help.  I have not yet seen a problem like this on the web.
    Let me know,
    Brad

    grey wrote:I don't think the LXDE menu can be edited - it's generated autmatically from the desktop files.
    It can. The configuration is in /etc/xdg/menus/lxde-applications.menu. You can also copy that file into ~/.config/menus to keep your modifications local.
    This brings me to two suggestions for you brahan: Check if you have a ~/.config/menus/lxde-applications.menu, and delete it if you do. Then restart lxpanel. The other thing, check if you have /etc/xdg/menus/lxde-applications.menu and what are it's permissions.

  • Richtextbox tools bar menu is not display for Firefox and chrome. Any idea why this is happening?

    Hello,
    I have added RichTextField in custom webpart. I have added tag like below
    <SharePoint:InputFormTextBox ID="RichTextField1" runat="server" TextMode="MultiLine" RichTextMode="FullHtml" Columns="20" Rows="10" RichText="true"  />
    We are able to see Richtextbox tools bar menu in IE browser but it's not working for other browser like chrome and Firefox.
    Can anyone suggest us why this is happening?
    Any help would be appreciable.
    Thanks,
    Lovkesh Patel

    Hi,
    According to your description, my understanding is that the richtextbox tool bar menu not display in non_IE browser.
    The richtext box not supported in Non-IE browser, it leads to the issue.

  • Menu windows not displaying properly in Acrobat 11 STD

    When I try to print any PDF file (clicking File->Print) the Print Menu that opens is missing all text in the window incl all buttons. I tried installing a separate Adobe Reader in local Danish language just to test the application but this was worse. So uninstalled and sticking to Acrobat.
    I also tried click File->Properties and this is also not displaying properly.
    I fear this has something to do with Microsoft compatibility, but I don't know. I have MS Windows 7 Pro SP1 installed.
    The good news is I can guess the bottom 2 buttons - 'OK' (left button) and 'Cancel' (right button) which at least allows me to print in the default preferences.
    Any ideas how to fix? I have the latest update installed.

    I have been working together with Adobe support team to solve this. After multiple rootcauses we found the issue.
    The issue was caused by not having the default windows font 'Segoe UI' installed. Sounds strange that Win 7 does not come with the font that is used by this application but the tip worked.
    Google a website to download the font from, I used 'Fontpalace.com' - install the font - and voila the issue is solved.

  • Menu entry not displayes

    Hi everyone!
    We use NW2004s SP9 Java (Sneak Preview). I created a user and assigned a collective role: user_role -> user
    Within "user_role" there are several roles that represent menu entries. This is just to simplify user administration. By assigning "user_role" to a user, he will have all the encluded menu entries at once!
    So, each of these included roles are set es entry points. When I log on to the portal as the respective user, no menu entries are displayed. Can anybody explain this behaviour?
    Here's the structure of "user_role":
    user_role
    -> included_role_one
    -> included_role_two
    -> ...
    When I assign the subsequent roles (included_role_one, included_role_two, ...) directly to the user, they are displayed as menu entries. But when I include them into another role (user_role) and assign this one to the user, nothing is displayed.
    What do I have to do in order to display the menu entries?

    OK, I just played around a bit and it's still not working.
    Just one more example to clearify what I want to do.
    role: "Account Manager" (for all users that are account managers)
       -> role: "Accounts" (set as entry point for displaying the menu entry)
           -> workset: "Customers" (will be displayed in the second level navigation)
               -> iView: "Display Customer" (will be displayed in side navigation)
               -> iView: "Change Customer" (will be displayed in side navigation)
           -> workset: "Contact Persons" (will be displayed in the second level navigation)
               -> ...
       -> role: "Products" (set as entry point for displaying the menu entry)
               -> ...
    With this approach I just have to assign the role "Account Manager" to a user and he has all the menu entries he needs. If I want to make changes (add or remove functionality), I only need to update one role for all account managers within the company.
    So, I guess its no use to set the role "Account Manager" as an entry point but the subsequent roles for each menu entry ("Accounts", "Products", etc.) that should be displayed in the top level navigation.
    I just created a group "Account Manager" and added the user "Account Manager" to that group. Then I assigned a role "Account Manager" to that group" This role contains all the roles for the menu entries. Every role that should be displayed in the top navigation is set as entry point but not the collective role "Account Manager".
    Nothing is displayed. If I set the role "Account Manager" as entry point nothing changes. Menu entries are only displayed when I assign the subsequent roles ("Accounts", "Products") to the user directly.
    I really don't know what to do in order to change this behaviour...

  • Drop downm menu will not display all options

    On certain websites the full drop-down menu will not appear when a tab is clicked on, as if blocked by images on the current webpage. Same problem on internet explorer! I cannot access the drop-down options that I need...

    If you are experiencing the same issue on another browser then it's not a Firefox issue and the support we can provide to solve this may be minimal.
    Hello,
    Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
    You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
    Then perform these steps:
    *Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
    *In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".
    *In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
    *Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
    Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:
    * [[Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems]]
    * [[Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL]]
    Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!

    Hello all,
    Thanks to everyone who replied to my post.  I have it working now but I have other issues that I will post separately.
    Here was my thought process and you can tell me if I am right or wrong.  I was working with multiple pages that I was using Spry.  I had only one folder set that all the Spry Assets were being saved into.  My thinking was that they were getting over written.  So I deleted the folder and re-built the page.  When I deleted Spry Assets folder it showed me I had 6 pages linked to the Spry Assets folder.  I also deleted my Spry Assets folder on my hosting server....thought I would really start from scratch.  When I went to upload the files I created a SpryAssets folder and what I realized I had originally put a space  between the y and a of the folder name.  So I am not sure if the elements in the Spry Assets folder were getting over written or it was because I had a space in the folder name.  Thanks again, Mike

    Use CSS floats.  Posted here with inline styles for expediency.  Ideally, you should set-up some re-usable classes for floats & clearing in your external style sheet.
    <div style="float:left; width:250px">

  • Spry horizontal menu's not displaying right in IE9

    Presently I'm using Dreamweaver CS4.  I have built a web site and placed a horizontal spry menu at the top of the web page.  It is situated on the page just below a smaller  non-spry horizontal menu.    In IE9, the menu appears above and to the right of this smaller menu rather than in the location I want it to appear.  What's more, in Dreamweaver the menu seems to float the upper right of the screen (I've attached a screen shot).   When I review the web site in IE 7, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, and Safari, the menu is correctly placed.
    Can anyone help solve this issue?  When I view the web page in IE9 and put it into IE7 mode, all is well.  Not so in IE9 (or IE8 for that matter).
    I'd appreciate direct email as well as answering it here to help others with my quandry.  My direct email address:   [email protected].
    Thank you!
    This image shows you where the menu appears in Dreamweaver AND in IE9
    This image shows you where the menu correctly displays in IE 7 (standard mode), Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Safari.
    The smaller navigation you see "Subscribe to Alerts" etc is controlled by the following code:
    #secondarynav {
      width: 475px;
      margin:  0px 0px 0px 0px;
      padding: 0px;
      float: right;
      /* height:20px; */
    The entire page including these menus sits in a container (My Code):
    #container {
      width: 930px;
      height:800px; /* changed from 775px */
      margin: 0 auto;
      border:1pt solid #c7a9a9;
      background-color: #FFFFFF; /* added by WDM, 6/5/2012 to keep container white while page body is gray */
    Control for Menu Bar: (My code)
    #menubar1 ul{

    I'm not sure where you attached files (I have not seen a way to do that in the Forum), But I will try to speak generally and work with what you have posted.
    My suspicion is that the negative top margin you have applied is messing things up a bit.
    I also note that it is usually better to apply margins to a CONTAINER of an unordered list (which is what menus are made of), than to apply the margins to the ul itself. So, restore the margin: 0; to the ul.MenuBarHorizontal style selector and create an enclosing element that bears the margin:-45px 0px 0px 200px; though I would still reconsider the use of negative top margin.
    It is entirely possible that this simple change will help.
    Please post the HTML for the top of the <body> section, including the menu code.

  • Menu bar not displaying in browser preview.

    After inserting my menu bar it doesn't display when I preview it in my browser. I have a rectangle sectioned for my main navigation menu and the menu bar sits on top of it...could this be causing it to not be seen? Also, it showed only once after pinning it...but that isn't what I want because when the page scrolls up and down the menu sits stationary...but it allows it to show??
    Anyone have this issue or have a fix?
    Thanks,
    Lee

    <header> and <footer> are html5 semantic tags. Old non-html5 browsers (like IE8) don't know how to handle them without a little help.
    Add this code to your <head>
    <!--[if lt IE 9]>
         <script src="//html5shiv.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/html5.js"></script>
    <![endif]-->
    Or better yet, download the .js file and add it to your site, then link to it, that way you won't depend on third party servers keeping the file in the same location...

  • Dynamic menu css not displaying correctly in https

    Hello,
    Need help! I'm trying to get my menu to display properly in https but no luck so far. (Chrome and IE) Please let me know if there is a solution. Thank you.
    good menu look http://winxed.businesscatalyst.com/
    bad menu look https://winxed.worldsecuresystems.com/events/eyelash-extension-extensive-class-houston

    Just drop a zoom:100% style on the link, and IE will get it
    right.
