Menu Bar In Muse CC 2014 vs. Menu Bar in Muse V7.4
Ok! I admit to old age and failing eye sight but I something I do not understand is why are their two versions of Muse and which one should I be using? Muse 2014 appears to have more features but the menu bar and subsequent drop down menu's are extremely small and are useless to me. My OS is Windows 8.1 - 64 - with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 and magnified to 150%. The menu bar is still to small for me to see it plainly. When I switch to Muse V7, the menu bar and subsequent drop down menus are fine. This 7.4 version seems to have reduced features than Muse 2014 has. Is Muse CC a beta? I have attempted to contact Adobe about this but gave up. I like Muse over Dreamweaver but at this point I guess I have to give up with Muse. It appears to me, over the years Adobe has completely dropped the ball with customer service. To date, I still can not install Adobe Animation Edge even after being of the chat circuit with a member of their non US Tech Support Personal. I pay monthly to have available all of Adobe's programs and over the years have rarely asked for their assistance. I would really like to know what is the difference between the two versions of Muse and "IF" there are any plans to increase the Menu Bar in Muse CC 2014. I noticed this same Menu Bar size now appears in Photoshop. I apologize for the length and do thank you for your time. - Over 65 and still kicking.

Muse CC 2014 8/12アップデート後エラー発生.「エラーが発生したため.Adobe Muse CC を終了します」
本日8/16,adobeCCアプリから8/12のアップデートを適応し、
更新しました。
アップデート前は正常に使用できていましたが、アップデート後、操作中や、
ファイルの保存時にエラーが出てアプリが終了してしまい、作業ができない状況です。
※現状保存は必ず失敗します。
その後、AdobeAirのアップデートウィンドウが出ましたので、
更新しましたが、症状は変わらず。
既存ファイルの編集時に症状がでます。
新規作成からの保存では異常は出ませんでした。
既存ファイルに変更が加わるとエラーが出て終了、
あるいは保存時にエラーで終了。
先ほどMuseのアンインストール、
再インストールを実行しました。
結果、症状は改善せず。
現状Museで作業ができない状況です。
エラーウィンドウは画像で添付します。
使用環境
Win7sp1/i7-860/8G/SSD240G+HDD500Gこんばんわ

この文書にもある通り、.museファイル自体の破損が原因であることがほとんどです。
トピ主さんの場合、特定のファイルで問題が発生しているとの事ですので、恐らくは既存のプロジェクトを新しいバージョンのMuseで開いた際に、何かしらがクラッシュしてしまったのでしょう。この問題は、 USフォーラムではバージョンアップの度に多数報告されています。私もMuseCCから2014へのアップデートの際に体験しました。
残念ながら、ファイルの破損である以上、作り直す他手段はありません。。
もし英語に抵抗がなければ、USフォーラムで相談するか、 [email protected]へフィードバックを送信すると、もしかするとエンジニアから何かアドバイスを受ける事ができるかもしれません。日本のサポートでの解決は無理です。

Muse CC 2014.3 crashing on upload to FTP
Though I've made updates to my site in before, Muse CC 2014.3 is now crashing on upload to FTP. I have tried to research this, but have yet to see an answer that fits. As I am only uploading changed content to my main home page it should not be difficult for Muse. Perhaps there is something on my end that has caused this situation. The progress bar reaches about 6%, stops and crashes. I have attached the crash report below for review. I have also tried exporting for HTML as well with the same result. FYI: I did try exporting to HTML a practice website and did the "preview this site in browser..." and was successful. So it initially appears that there is something in my site. The problem with that though is that I am only deleting an element, not adding or changing items. HELP!!

It would be helpful to know whether the crash occurs if the links to the external files are broken. if you rename the folder containing the images and open and output your file without fixing the links, does the crash still occur? If so, that would indicate the crash is triggered by image data within the .muse file. If that's the situation we'll need to have you send us the .muse file so we can further diagnose and repair the problem. If the crash doesn't occur with the links broken, then it's being triggered by an external image file. By re-linking sets of files you may be able to identify the problem file. Assuming the image can be opened in Photoshop without errors, opening it in PS and re-saving will avoid the crash. (If it does turn out to be an external image file, we'd be grateful if you could send us a copy of it. If it's malformed, it should result in an error message and not a crash.)

danke für den Hinweis, ich kenne mich da nicht so gut aus, hab mal ein screenshot gemacht ob die Zugriffsrechte richtig sind?
Nach wie vor hab ich immer noch das selbe problem.
Hab schon mehrmals Muse deinstalliert, FDP Rechte repariert, Safemodus etc. leider alles ohne Erfolg.
Das komische ist wenn ich ein neuen Benutzer anlege funktioniert das Einwandfrei.

I just updated Muse to 2014.3 and now it crashes pretty much anytime I try to make a change to a file. It seems to work fine with other Muse files. These are some of the error messages it gives me.
There are probably remnants of the prior 2014.3.0 install that need to be removed before any update will work.
Delete the following 3 folders:
Mac (copy and paste into the Go > Go To Folder dialog in the Finder, to open the target folder):
"~/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2014.3 "
"~/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Adobe Muse CC/2014.3"

Is it possible to have two versions of Muse on one Machine? WhenI open Muse from my program menu in WIndows 7 it comes up the way I am used to. I did an upgrade a week or so ago and now I have an Adobe Muse CC 2014 on my desktop. WhenI open the application that way the GUI interface looksw totally different, more like Illustrator. What is that all about?
Since posting the above, I have resolved a sensible work-around in regard to ebookstores which prefer us to have separate accounts for our separate Adobe IDs.
However, I really would appreciate it if anyone here can confirm that a DRM controlled book does actually become associated with a particular Adobe ID account at the time of first download to Digital Editions on that PC/device.
Two large book stores have said using my account with them to download books to our two separate Adobe IDs is OK, but I don't want to find my husband is unable to open his downloaded books.

I do not manage to find the function to change a letter into exposing. I have MUSE DC 2014.2 and the menu does not display this possibility. I tried to import it IN design but that does not function either?
I'm not clear on exactly what it is you're asking, but if you're referring to changing opacity, you can change the opacity setting for the States of a menu item via the States panel and Control Strip.

I updated to Muse CC (2014.2) recently, but this morning it appeared in my Creative Cloud menu as needing to be updated again. Is that a minor upgrade with the exact same name?
The update is for few bug fixes and will show 2014.2 in CC as the update includes hotfix : Release notes | Adobe Muse CC

Greyed out Menu in Muse CC 2014
So I recently updated to the new Adobe Muse program, however, whenever I try to convert my previous website into the application. It seems all of the menus are greyed out. So basically I can't do anyhting toher than look at my website... I'm using the trial version of Adobe Muse CC 2014. Is this the new trial limitation? Or is my program bugged?
Any help would be appreciated as I can't wait to get my hands and try out the new program!So it seems to be fixed! The first thing I did was uninstall Adobe Muse CC 2014 along with all the previous Muse installations. I then re-installed just Muse CC 2014, and made sure to have Creative Cloud running while I opened Muse. All of the options now show up. If I don't have Creative Cloud running while I open Muse, it goes back to being greyed out. Really strange....
However, now when I open Muse I get this error. But if I don't close that window or click "Okay", I can still use Muse.... weird.
Anyways, hope that helps anyone else having this problem! Works for now, hopefully Adobe can push out an update to fix this. -
Spry Menu Bar - Different Background Image Wanted for menu items
Hi, I've looked everywhere for help with this and just haven't found any answers yet ...
I want my Dreamweaver CS5.5 menu to look like this design I've done in PhotoShop ...
It's a simple one level list with no sub-levels.
Everything is good, except I can only set one background image for all the menu items at this level.
I want the first, last, and all the middle, menu items to use different background images.
I have no idea where or how to insert the code to set a different background image for each individual menu item ...
I know I could use images set one on top another in a column with rollover image swop, but the spry menu opens the door for dynamic content so I'm keen to get it working.

They've got funky indenting of the text as well.

Found 0 results for My browser is missing important items, the whole tool bar...., drop down menu to print, copy, work off line, file, save, book mark, history. I just installed latest foxfire on windows xp. Found some instructions but they called for using keys my computer doesn't have ( key in OSX There is no file, edit , history, help, tools, navigation, all the things your directions say to use. Also I always get hung up and the message a scrip is running. I don't know what thises scrips are but I sure don't need them.

You can trun off the menu while the VI is running by going into the VI properties (right click on the VI icon and select 'Properties). Then from the Catagory selestion box, select Window Appearance, click the Customize button, then uncheck the Show Menu Bar check box and hit OK twice. That shold do it.
Note that this will only turn off the menu while the VI is running. The standard menu will always be showing when the VI is not running.

Above shows the version of Muse I tried to use. I am using a Dell XPS computer, 64 bit, Windows 8.1 and I must admit defeat with Muse 2014. My standard and recommended resolution is 2560 x 1440. The tool bars and icons are so small I can just barely see them even with my glasses on. I admit to old age. As an example, when I click on the page menu I have made and I click on the arrow to the right of my self made menu, my system will start flashing and eventually freeze. Since I originally made my site using Muse CC and later opened it with Muse 2014, the program will not allow me to go back, So now I am in the process of rebuilding the entire site using Muse CC. I have dropped the resolution down considerably and sometimes Muse 2014 will work temporarily, other times its the same problem. Screen flashes and eventually the screen will freeze. From my experience, Muse 2014 is not ready for public use.
Muse 2014.0 is incompatible with 125% Display scaling on Windows 8 and 8.1. If you switch to 100% or 150% Display scaling I believe that will avoid the incompatibility you're encountering.

Hi, I am working in a project on Muse CC 2014 and everything in the designer view works pretty well, but when I make change to colors, fonts, menus, etc and click preview, I cant see my changes, instead I saw old version of my project, the same happens on the browser preview, I need help cause I have to get this done today. We purchased CC for teams and upgraded all workers to InDesign CC 2014.2 in March. Because I installed using a package - rather than individually - quite a few plug-ins were not working. This week, I uninstalled InDesign CC 2014.2 on everyone's machine and individually installed InDesign, from the Creative Cloud menu. However, instead of installing the expected InDesign CC 2014.2, it installed InDesign CC 2014. As stated above, "It doesn't even show up that the updates are available, it simply says "up to date"". Obviously this is not true - since we just had 2014.2 last week.
Can someone please let me know why the new install would have regressed to a previous version - and how I might be able to get the current version back?
