Menu Button Help

I purchased a template and am attempting to modify the menu
buttons. I have
made the changes but for some reason when the movie plays the
menu text
isn't there. I have moved the text to be on top thinking that
may be the
problem but it still occurs.

I have been editing Symbol 50 with the menu layer.

soo i was listening to my ipod while walking home. i decided to play a game i click my menu button but it doesnt work. I can reset it(hold menu n play button for 10 seconds) but i just cant use the menu button. help?

how on earth can you help people when all you do is direct them to another page to click on something that doesn't help. this new version is awful . i cannot even put a url address in my address bar, nor can i refresh the address bar as it won't highlight at all. i keep going to all sorts of help pages and they are no help at all. i have used firefox for years and never had so much trouble with anything. the worse thing is your support and not being able to talk to any about anything. as it is i have to go all over just to find maybe an answer to this.i am using a background theme that i used before the new updated version and had no problems with it. if your themes are not compatible then why have them ??? the address bar problem is not present if i get rid of the theme and use the plain boring theme that you have . all i want to know is why this issue is happening with the theme i am using. and if possible it would be nice to get an answer in my email so i don't have to click on a dozen help pages trying to find it . thank you ..

A number of other users have mentioned a similar problem. 
Chances are that you have an add-on installed that isn't completely compatible with Firefox 29. '''You''' need to figure out the culprit and disable it until an update for that add-on is available.

As this is the forum for PPC (pre-2006, non Intel) iMacs I assume that is what you have.

Menu button wont work! pleeeease help!

my i pod mini's menu button wont work.
i'll push it and it doesn't respond.
and i cant reset it because i need to use the menu button.
also...the backlight will come on at random times lyk even when im not using it. and it beeps sometimes too. just really loud beeps, not through the headphones but the actual i pod.
i dont know whats going on.
and i need to use my menu button.

Very likely it is a hardware issue (exactly same as mine). I am afraid to say that you need to send it for repairing. You will get a replacement if your iPod mini still under the warranty

Ok so my menu button doesn't work. It used to go to the last thing I was at and now it goes all the way back to the first menu, it's a royal pain to have to scroll through everything every time. If anyone can help, it's greatly appreciated.

Mine is doing the same thing!!It's just the stupid menu buttom that is braindead!!! It's driving me crazy, I have also spent the past 2 days trying to figure it out and I can't~!! I am thinking about going to the ipod store today to see if its something they can do to it right away to fix, and if yes I can then let you know if it is possible to fix it by yourself OK?

Help with Acrobat js created menu button

I as using a short javascript which creates a menu button. The js script is in the correct Acrobat javascripts folder. I am using Acrobat Pro 8.1.2

The function AddSigningPage()" is in the same script file.
Problem: The button loads and displays correctly (greyed out) if Acrobat is launched. If a pfd file is then loaded the button comes alive and the function works OK .
But the button does not display at all if Acrobat is launched by clicking on a pdf file.
Help please.

The proper input to the "app.removeToolButton" function is the name of the toolbar button, not the object that was used to create it. Try this:
app.removeToolButton("AddSignPage");
The very first thing you need to check for is the "Add-ons" toolbar. After loading your document, and when the toolbar button doesn't show. Right click on an empty portion of the Acrobat Toolbar to display a list of all the individual toobars. Is there an Add-ons Toolbar Listed? Is it checked?
To determine if your Folder level script was loaded and run, Test the function created in that script.
Run this from the console window
 AddSigningPage
The code for the function will be returned if is was defined.
To determine if your toolbar button was loaded, run this code from the console window.

the "JSAppToolBar" is the internal name of the "Add-ons" toolbar.
However, from what you have described it does look as if you've hit on a bug. Probably a timing issue. What are the characteristics of this file?

Menu Button Won't Work! HELP!

I bought my Ipod one month ago and I have taken extremely good care of it so far.
After charging it full one day, I unplugged it and was about to listen to some music, but the menu button on my clickwheel wouldn't function. The other buttons on the clickwheel were fine, but the menu wouldn't show up (although I can still hear the clicking sound). I left my Ipod alone for a three days (each day I tried the menu button but it still wouldn't work) and finally on the fourth day it was working fine again. About a week later, the same thing happened after I fully charged my Ipod and unplugged it.
Does anyone know what is wrong with my menu button and what I can do about it?
If I were to send it back to Apple for repairing, what happens if the menu button starts working fine again? Would I have to pay a fee for it since nothing appears to be wrong?
Also, when I fill out the form, what issue is it considered? I can't find anything to do with cilckwheel on the issue list. Please help me! Thanks.

I had the same problem with the Menu buton on my 3G iPod.
plug it into your mac / pc and use the restore, this will reload the firmware, then reload all your songs on.

Menu button wont respond.. Help Please!!

My ipod is doing these "twitches"....it keeps going back and forth to the beginning menu to the song thats playing and i am not even touching it....its just sits there going back and forth making the clicker sound....the menu button also doesnt work when i push it and my ipod doesnt turn off! Ive tried all the 5 R's none of them helped...does anyone have any suggestions?

Can't find menu buttons in FLA file...help!

I haven't worked with Flash in a while. I agreed to work on a friend's template before realizing it contains a Flash menu which needs to be changed. I opened the file using my Flash CS4 but I don't see the menu buttons at all. They do show up when I play the movie (SWF) file but not in the FLA file. Nothing is hidden. There is a layer for the menu with nothing on it.
I'd like to modify the menu that can be seen when the SWF file plays. Am I missing something? Why am I not seen the menu buttons?

If you right click on one of the buttons in the library, and then select Linkage in the menu that appears, is there a checkmark where it says Export for Actionscript with a class or ID specified for the button? IF so, you may need to look thru the actionscript to see if you can isolate code that involves the buttons.
Otherwise, if the Export for Actionscript is not selected, then the buttons are most likely inside some other symbol, which you could probably find in the library as well.

I was prepare to update the latest facebook app, but on the half way suddenly stuck... i can't press any button! i can only press the swtich off and menu button together for restart my phone, and of course turn into full black screen and the apple comes back again to the screen and for a really long time. I did try to sync to my laptop but it can't work, the apple stay there forever. Can someone help me?

Recovery Mode
1. turn off the iPhone.
2. connect the USB cable to the iphone.
3. press the home button (the large round), and press and hold connect the other end of the USB cable to your PC.
4. continue to hold pemuto the home button.
5. within about 8/10 seconds will appear on the screen of the phone USB cable + iTunes.
6. your iphone is now in recovery mode.
7. will open automatically iTunes you will detect an iPhone in recovery mode.
To return to normal mode you just hold the home button + shut down: the Apple logo in about 1 minute and the iphone will reboot.

same thing is happening to mine. i own a silver mini and recently it has been acting skrewy. the backlight goes on and off (without holding MENU and when the setting is at OFF) and the menu button doesnt work too. just today i discovered that when i do the HOLD switch it replaces the MENU process or ability.
PLEASE HELP!
