Menu & Icon Text-Viewing Size

Unable to adjust font size of menu, task bars and icons in order to see and use Aperature trail version. Any suggestions?

There's currently no way to change the size of the text.

Your only workaround at the moment is to use the operating system's built-in zoom function (Control-scroll wheel or see the Universal Access preference pane).

Mail text viewing size versus sent item font size

Hi there,
I recently tried to increase the font size on my iMac Mail application so that I can read the messages in my inbox a bit clearer - and with great success! I found the section in the 'Fonts & Colors' tab of Mail Preferences and increased my message font to Helvetica size 18. However, various recipients of my emails have commented that the font size appears huge on their screens and print-outs.
Is there any way I can have the text bigger on my Mail app so that I can read everything without squinting (ideally the size 18 font I currently use) but automatically have my emails sent in Helvetica size 12 font so they don't look ridiculous to the recipients?
For your reference I am using iOS X Mavericks, version 10.9.5 on an iMac I bought late last year (2013). My Mail application is at version 7.3.

Thank you for responding. After investigating and checking further, it was clear that only one of your suggestions changes the font size of the list of emails, also called the In-box. And that is the display resolution.
However, changing the display resolution affects the dots per inch of everything, everywhere and makes it larger.
Given the high end fee Apple charges for their products, and the generally well developed software they provide, it is hard to imagine they have not corrected this obvious slight of effort on the inbox text. At times Apple's "one-size-fits-all" and "it's our way or no way" mentality astounds me and makes me want to run back to Microsoft.
Evidently this is a well known mistake, which has yet to receive any attention.
Again, thank you for your effort and assistance on my behalf.

Font size of text view in Web Dynpro ABAP

Hi Experts,
How to increase the font size of a text view in Web Dynpro layout. I have tried the 'Design' property of the text view and made it 'Group Title', But i want even bigger font size.

This should NOT work! The UI elements should safe encode all input values - thereby eliminating the value of any HTML tags. If you system isn't doing this already then it is a bug and if you rely on such a thing it will stop working at some point in the future.
You are basically restricted to different values available via the design parameter. The overall font sizes come from the underlying themes and the client applications (browser or NetWeaver Business Client) that host the Web Dynpro Application. Therefore no direct specification of the font size is possible in order to stay within the controls of theme. If you don't like any of the designs available, you might consider altering the Portal Theme you are using - but that is a rather drastic approach.

If you are talking with refernce to photoshop elements then let me tell you there is no option in PSE to change "Menu and tool bar text font " sizes. This option exists in Photoshop in Edit>Preferences>Interface."

Default View Size In My Own Template

I have created a template of my own called “My Template” and have set it to open automatically as a new document in preferences. Everything works great except it opens at 100% view size I want it to open at 150% view size, I’ve tried saving it as a template to the templates folder as the same name as above and it retains all my changes except view size. Is there any way to save the default view size of a template so it opens at 150% ? When I save a template as a document it remembers my view size and reopens at the larger saved view size but my saved template reopens at 100% not matter what I do!

Actually my mistake I just read the instructions for pasting the text below into the terminal window and then press "Enter" NOT "return". I was pressing return which didn't work so the line of code below does work to set the default Zoom on a template.

Does Pages have a text view?

I like Pages, but I don't want to see the paper margins and page breaks, I just want to see the text. I hate to mention Word, but it lets me switch between text view and print view. Can I do this in Pages?

Choose "Hide Layout" from the View menu or toolbar icon. Layout is hidden by default on all new from templates or "foreign" files.

How can I get an Extension's toolbar icon to display image without text (without universally affecting other icons)? How can I edit the icons text (save space)?

Is there a way to choose an individual setting for a specific toolbar icon to be icon only (no text) without universally affecting all other icons on the toolbars?
Second, is there a way to edit the text on a specific toolbar button from an extension (because it occupies too much horizontal space on the toolbar due to the amount of text)? I do know how to locate the xpi file & open it with notepad, but then it's mainly code (not English) & FIND doesn't locate the button's text (to edit it).
These 2 questions should apply to Extension buttons in general. However IF it makes any difference I'm referring to the Toolbar Button in Back To Top 7.0 which says "Go to top/bottom". I'd at least like to edit out "Go to", but my questions apply to other Extension buttons too. I do realize it may be necessary to redo any fix/change each time there is an update? THANK YOU.

* open the browser window in the DOMi (File > Inspect <b>Chrome</b> Document) and choose the first from the list.
* click the "Find a node to inspect by clicking on it" button and use the keyboard (Alt Tab) or the Task bar to go back to the browser window (do not click in the browser window other than the title bar).
* click that element with the mouse and keep the button pressed until you see a red border to indicate the the DOMi has located that element in the DOM tree.

What do you mean by "shortcut" menu? You can add a custom menu to the top of any DIAdem panel and fill it with whatever menu items you want. You can also add/customize any icons at the top or the left of any DIAdem panel and program them to do what you want. There is additionally limited support in DIAdem 2010 and prior versions for adding custom context menus to VIEW areas. We are looking into expanding this support for DIAdem 2011.

How can I disable a hover link in the phone view size?
I got this site where I got a gallery page,
the pics have a hover/link state (?) where as you click in them
they will open a bigger pic. (Prettyphoto)

If you don't want a :hover state to show in the phone css of a fluid grid layout, you would remove it from the global settings and only include it in the tablet and desktop media queries.
Or are you trying to do something else?

Message Mapping- Source text view not working

i given values for sourse message and i executed test and the values are populating in target message.in target meesge if want to view of xml using source text view then..
i am getting follwing ..

Hi Munna,
The solution was the use of Pretty Print.
Double Click on the "Source Text View". You will get an icon of Pretty Print on the side. Click on it. The whole XML will be displayed.

On my email page, I've lost the 3-line menu icon in upper right -- how can I get it back?

I inadvertently lost the little 3-line menu icon in the upper right corner of my email page. What can I do to get it back? I've tried pressing Alt and also Ctrl+Alt, as some instructions suggest, and nothing happens.

You probably have disabled the Mail Toolbar. Press F10 and choose View -> Toolbars and check Mail Toolbar.

Font size dependent text item size calculation

I have a requirement like this
1. Depending on the Form Co-ordinate system
2. Depending on the Font name and size of the Text Item
3. For a multiline text item
4. Given the context string to display in it
I want to calculate the optimal width and hight for that text
item.
Please give me sugestion on the calculation formulae and or
pointer to the detailed discussion....

Spry Menu Bar text mirrored in IE

I'm making my first website with Dreamweaver. So far, I've managed to figure out all my problems on my own. This one, though, is just weird. My webpage looks fine on Firefox but when I load it up on Internet Explorer, my menu bar text (ex:Home) reads mirrored. Not backwards like "emoH" but completely mirrored. I have no idea how to fix this or why it happened. When I press the Compatibility View button IE has, it fixes it though..

Not sure i am putting question at right platform as i tried a lot however was unable to contact apple via e-mail. I have recently purchased macbook pro retina and use Microsoft outlook 2011 and Thunderbird email client, for my office and personal mails respectively.
I have been a windows user in past and one problem i see with both clients is viewing size of email fonts. If font size is increased may be it helps but then the recipient will also get large fonts. On other hand Command + also works but not to all windows of the interface.
Thus i am left with option of viewing mails with such a small font size. I am also planning to use 21 inch Samsung LED in office with my macbook. As being 6"3 in height it helps me to have good posteur in office. However on that screen i am sure the mail size will be very very small.
I request apple to look at this critical issue in their next OS launch and anybody who can give me a solution will be highly appreciated.

Apple don't make either Microsoft Outlook or Thunderbird. If those two applications do not have preferences to set the font size of emails (I'm sure Outlook does - its predecessor Entourage did) then the makers of those applications would need to add it. Apple cannot add features to other companies applications.
Mac OS X already has options for increasing font size, and making text easier to read for people with eyesight problems.
