MENU item selection does not display drop down in ITS enabled transaction

Hello,
We are experiencing a strange behavior between two portal env.
1. DEV.
For example we have transaction MM01 display in the Portal via ITS (integrated). The end user can select the Menu Tab and the System Tab and the drop downs appear as expected.
2. Prod
Same scenario as above. Only this time, end user is unable to select the button. The Menu and System Tab dont appear greyed out but selecting it does not display the drop down.
Material, Edit GoTo Defaults are some of the links under the Menu tab for MM01.
Very confusing. And this is the behavior in Prod for all transactions. Any ideas on why this is happening would be greatly appreciated.
The architectural difference is that DEV has no Web Dispatcher versus Prod has the Web Dispatcher.
We are on EP 7.0

Thanks. Now, I realise this may cause dismay to some, but I have now solved the problem, and just wanted to share my experience with those even less savvy than myself. In Dreamweaver, the Spry css styles are arranged with little or no hint as to which style controls what. I found that there is a rule in the sub-menu styles that controls the little graphic arrows which indicate that there are dropdown subs under the tabs. I had removed these arrows to make way for my background images. However, the rules that control their positioning by percentage were still there, causing my images to display incorrectly. Of course, there was no way anyone could have spotted this and helped me as the fault was in the external spry css file, not the page code. So many thanks to vw2ureg for looking anyway. Regarding the page code, which you have flagged up, would you mind elaborating on what you see wrong here? I'm none the wiser. Many thanks again.

Unable to customize control bar. Control-Click does not produce drop down window.

I just downloaded Logic Pro X (10.0.7) on a Macbook Pro, OSX 10.9.4, 2.3 Core i7 with 8 GB Ram. I'm trying to customize the control bar (to add auto punch). According to "help" the control bar is customized by Control-Clicking on the control bar and selecting the desired tools from the drop down menu. When I Control-Click (anywhere on the control bar) nothing happens.
I have tried this with no audio interface attached and with my Focusrite Saffire Pro 26 on-line; no difference.

There are supposed to be four drop down boxes on the Add-ins tab of MS-Word.
I do not have these tabs.
Also, when I am in a sales order within Busines One, and I click on the Word icon on the toolbar, it opens the Word template I setup by editing Docmnhl1.doc file.
But it only shows the template, it never pulls info from B1. I expect it to display the sales order info and it only shows the fields that are supposed to be available from the drop down box.

John,
When you are using remote desktop, you are still using the client on the remote desktop. Are you remoting into the Server itself, then it could be an issue with the path.
If you are using mapped drives in the path (Microsoft Word Templates Folder), then you want to make sure that the doc template are able to access the path

PO item text does not display in form at first. Only after saving PO

Hi Guys,
We're facing a peculiar situation. We print line item texts of a PO in the smartform. However what we noticed was that as soon as the PO is created and we choose to print the po, the item texts do not appear. When we checked in tables STXH and STXL theese texts were not even registered in the tables. All this time the PO is saved.
Then we went back into the PO in ME22n, made a slight change somewhere and saved the PO. Now these texts appear in the tables STXH/STXL and also in the print out. What could the reason be?

You should check your PO customizing, probably the text is set to be loaded in modification only

When trying to click between red, blue and green in levels, the menu does not stay dropped down so that i can click on them

I go to New Levels > Levels> RGB> (red, blue, green).. the mouse won't click on red, blue, green, and levels keeps reverting back to just the RGB levels. I have the full version, I just installed on a new computer, and input the serial number without problems at install. Very dissapointed as I can't edit anything without doing simple levels editing. PLEASE HELP

PDF does not display when extended features is enabled.

I have serval PDFs that I created in Adobe Acrobat. I can save them with extended features enabled. When customers view these PDF's they do not see any of the information filled in. If I take the extended features off they are able to view. I need to have these features enabled so that my sales staff can fill out forms and send to customers. Any idea on how to get around this? New app?

If Adobe's own product won't do it, I doubt you'll find anything else that will, unfortunately. Still, maybe someone here has tried one of the seemingly unending stream of PDF and file readers in the app store that will.

Displaying drop down menu lists on :hover

I've been working with CSS for a while and can employ mosts techniques, but this is my first time attempting to implement a drop down menu. The main reason I'm here is because I'm looking to better understand why my menu won't display at all and how to overlay these lists over other positioned objects on the page. I'd like to have my menu display horizontally in the black bar on the top of the page and have the ul's in the li's (drop downs) display when I hover over a menu link with some margin (about 30px) to the right of each link. Additionally I find that when I hover my mouse over a link unless both it and its drop down lists have a fixed width, the menu item will "jump" to the side; if possible instead I'd be interested in using flexible width for each menu item and just keeping the drop down lists set to a fixed width, but I don't know how to employ this without the margins being messed up. I'm also concerned about the slider region I implemented being pushed down as a result of the menu not being in the header bar.
I know this is kinda vague but to be honest I'm really not sure what to explain than otherwise just showing it to you, so if anyone can show me what I'm (not) doing in my CSS that should be different it would be really appreciated. Thanks so much.

Firefox does NOT display Ebay items

A text of an ebay item# 130543746409 does NOT display in some parts of the auction item. When I use IE for item#130543746409, the text is displayed. I have screen prints of both Firefox and IE as proof of Firefox's shortcoming, but I see no way to attach the pics here.

"View Selected Item" does not display

I'm using RoboHelp7 out of the Technical Communication Suite.
When I'm working on a topic and select the
View Selected Item button, the topic does not display. When
I first tried yesterday, nothing happened (IE didn't open and there
was nothing in my tray). I contacted Oversea's support and was
informed that there wasn't an incident for this occurance. I was
instructed to uninstall and reinstall RoboHelp.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the applications and the button
still doesn't work; however, this time there is an hourglass for an
instant before not producing any results.
The button doesn't work with anything that I've created or
with the example projects (Clownfish School). Any help would be
greatly appreciated. I'd hate to have to regenerate the project
just to look at a quick change.

Windows Phone 8.1 xaml, c# ComboBox does not display selection when first item is selected from full page list.

I have 3 comboboxes on a xaml page and most of the time when I select the first item on the full page list displayed when the number of items are > 5, the screen returns to the combobox and the box is blank. The combobox.SelectedItem is valued but it
does not display. This does not happen every time and I have seen this using the emulator and my windows 8.1 phone. If I select any other item in the list they always display but when I go back and select the first item the box is blank.
Does anyone know what I could be doing that is causing this?

Thanks for your help. When I run the code below and the page is displayed, I select an item from the page list and it displays fine and then I select the first item from the page list and I do not see that selected item in the box.
If I remove the SelectedIndex=0 it all works fine except I do not have an item selected for the initial display. Below should show problem and should work copy/paste in universal blank app.

Dragging and dropping an item within horizontalList does not display correctly

It appears that when I drag an item from a HorizontalList to another location within the same HorizonList, it does not display the images correctly. In my HorizontalList, I have an itemRenderer that shows the thumbnail image of the item. I have about half a dozen items in the list and when I drag the sixth item and move to the beginning of the list, the display looks as if the first and the sixth element are switched, while in reality the resulting dataProvider array seems to have the right order, meaning the sixth element became the first element and the first element became the second element and so on. Has any one seen such a behavior and how do I rectify this? Thanks in advance. Cheers, Ramesh

Firefox does not display URL selection window.

About 30 minutes ago, I clicked on the update Firefox button (3.6.6) I clicked restart when the update was finished. The new Firefox page DOES NOT display a window to enter a URL address or any of my frequently accessed URLs that I choose from. I rebooted by laptop, but Firefox page still does not display a window to enter a URL or to choose from my frequently used site urls.

* If, on Windows, in Firefox 3.6 the menu bar is hidden then press and hold the Alt key down or press F10, that should make the "Menu Bar" appear

* Make sure that you have the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" visible: "View > Toolbars"
* If items are missing then see if you can find them in the "View > Toolbars > Customize" window

Oops - spry menu bar 2.0 does not display correctly when loaded

Oops - obviously I'm new at this. I think I got my graphics loaded now.

I notice bzz31 had a pretty complicated post, so perhaps someone can help me with my complicated problem that has been vexing me for months. I tried the Spry Menu Bar 1.0, but it was impossible for me to edit, and I was delighted to see Spry Menu Bar 2.0 come out. However the 2.0 version has been frustrating me as well.
I can get my menu bar to display properly in Live View, as shown below.
However when I load everything onto the server, the menu bar does not display correctly, as shown below:
I don't quite understand the code "file:///" but I interpret it to mean that the Spry-UI-1.7 folder is in the topmost folder of MacPro5-Docs, which is my hard drive. Here's the code I'm having trouble with:

Since my index file is two folders down from Spry-UI-1.7, I loaded the files onto the server similarly, as shown in the next three pictures:

Replace the red coloured parts with http://www.twhsbands.org/ will remedy the situation.

Firefox does not display the basic menu line File Edit View etc. How do I get this menu to show. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but that does not help

When I ask for help finding bookmarks, the answer tells me to click on bookmarks as shown in the illustration, but there is no such line displayed on my computer.

I'm not clear on exactly what it is you're asking, but if you're referring to changing opacity, you can change the opacity setting for the States of a menu item via the States panel and Control Strip.
