For the blackberry protect app the menu option is not working ,after entering in to the bkackberry protect app in the mobile and iff we press menu key it shows settings ,backup ,update options but now its not showing any details ....else bb protect app is undermaintenance .

Try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache folder(s):
Home/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto
and, if there is one, the
Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: For Mavericks, 10.9, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:

Most of the default Mac Apps does not work after Mavericks Upgrade

Hi, I did everything, but nothing has brought me out of this misery .
I Updated Maverick just 2 days after its release. Had no problems, other then slow Finder. I restarted my iMac last week, and got caught with these issues, known to me, not sure what all bugs are there.
All these apps does not work: App Store, TextEdit, Preview, Terminal, iBooks, Maps, Calendar, Contacts, Mail, etc
I do not know how to do a clean install, as I had upgraded from Snow Leopord to Mountain Lion and to Maverick using App Store, which does not open at all.
Hoping to get some response soon from Apple support team to help me.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, and your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

My Apple ID was changed. Yet when I try to update apps I am asked to enter the password for the old IG which will not work and no matter what I do. When I attempt to update apps it still askes for the wrong ID data.

I reboot the IPAD and then attempt to update apps again but it still asked for the Old ID password and still shows the old ID username. The dame thing refuses to recognize my new Apple ID data. This is making my older IPAD unuseable.

You cannot change your Apple ID. You can get a new one if you want, but all of your Apps and media are linked to yoru old Apple ID. And no, Apple won't transfer your old ID purchases to yoru new ID.

One of the 3 Disney apps will not work.

Disney Chanel and Disney Jr sign in and sync with the cable provider login steps and play fine, however when choosing Disney XD, the menu across the top loads, the gear continuously spins, the screen reads "Accessing Disney XD" but no connection to Disney is ever made. Never get to the point to sync with the cable provider. Strange how the other two Disney apps works.
Steps taken so far (after reading through the forums) with no change:
Restored ATV3 to default settings
Unplugged HDMI and Power for hours.
Rebooted router
Disney XD works on my iPhone.....

Correction - Upon first choosing Disney XD, it did allow me to sync with the cable provider but after the sync is when the gears spins and never accesses Disney XD. I'm running into the same with our other Apple TV 3 in my daughters room.

Why doesn't the new ipad apps system not work?

When I saw the new system of updating apps in ios 7.0.3 I was delighted but unfortunately it doesn't work I left at least six apps to not update but unfortunately they all updated on their own last night. So what is the point of a manual update when Apple overrides it? Now I have to delete and reinstall. We need a way of removing apps from the update list before Apple overrides it.

If you delete the apps and reinstall them directly from the App Store, you will be installing the updated apps that you just deleted.
If you delete the apps on the iPad and still have the older versions in iTunes on your computer - you can sync them back to the iPad and that will work to retrieve the older versions.
When you delete apps, you delete the data and documents associated with those apps.
Settings>iTunes & App stores>Automatic downloads>Updates>Off. Is that how you have this set up in your settings. I set my iPad this way from day one and no apps have ever been updated without me initiating the update.

'This device isn't eligible for the requested build'/phone does not work

On Mon 9/23:
I selected "update to ios7" on my iphone 4s.
After about 10 minutes it went to a black screen with a cord, arrow and iTunes logo.
I plugged it into my computer and attempted to restore via iTunes.
I received the error message 'This device isn't eligible for the requested build'
After much researching on the internet for help, following suggested fixes, multiple restarts and attempts at restoring, I continue to receive the error message.
I decided to see if I could get another device to be recognized.
I plugged in my old iPhone 3G and it worked just fine.
I do not know what to do. Please help!

I too was having the same problem However, I could access both the menu bar and the dock by hovering my mouse over them so it wasn't a huge problem but I prefered having it there anyway. I was not in full screen mode and I could still go into full screen mode if I wanted to. I found the easiest solution was to just quit safai and restart it, but it might not work for you considering you couldn't access you menu bar either way.
I found this article that allows you to hide/show the menu bar and the dock through TextEdit (didn't work for me) http://www.mactricksandtips.com/2009/07/hide-the-menubar-or-dock-in-specific-app s.html It is pretty old so it might not work for lion and a bit risky if you don't know what you're doing so I wouldn't really recommend doing it this way.
And KSheppard, I know it's not really any of my buisness, but the way to get answers to a question isn't by insulting others and being quick-tempered. Even if you feel like you were insulted first, don't try snapping at people who aren't obligated to help you. Honestly, it just makes everything easier if everybody is cooperative and polite.
