Menu or keystroke for opening multiple projects simultaneously?

Pages 52-53 of the Getting Started Guide describe how
to open multiple projects using the mouse and
keyboard together.
It wasn't obvious to me from the user interface that
you could even do that, until reading that part of
the manual. Has anyone found a keystroke or a menu
(or popup menu) that will let you open multiple
projects like this (in tabs or separate browsers)? Or
do you always have to do the Option/Command-click
thingy? (Right-clicking on a project both selects a
project and has no menu items for opening the
project, which is not what I would expect.)
I don't think there is a key combo for that, I think the mouse is the only path. Scrolling up or down in the project list always goes to the next project and no modfier keys seem availiable to leave the previous one open... I would be tricky because it would be hard to have a good interface that would let you select non-adjoining projects (since you'd have t skip over other ones without making them active).

Adobe Acrobat pro 9.4.6 crashes when opening multiple files simultaneously.

We have Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 which has been updated to version 9.4.6. we had this problem when the 9.4.5 update was applied also. It is now crashing when we try to open multiple files simultaneously.
Yesterday, I narrowed down the problem to 6 plugins:
IA32
ADBC
eBook
EScript
HLS
PPKLite
SaveAsRTS
However, we discovered that that Comments and markup tool bars weren't loading. So I did a repair install on it.
Now those plugins from yesterday work and Acroform.api is causing it to crash when opening multiple files.
I did try other suggestion that involved using Icacls/cacls on dll files to no avail.
It is running on XP SP3 fully updated with plenty of RAM and HDD space.
Is there a way to fix this without reinstalling?

I am not sure what's causing this problem on your machine because everything's working fine for me.
What is the version of Acroform.api on your machine now.
Do a Repair after deleting this file and see if it works.
Enable Windows MSI logging (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314852) before you do a repair, upload that log to some file sharing server, and paste its link here.

For Premiere Elements 11 and 12, you cannot change its default project preset from NTSC AVCHD Full HD1080i30 or its PAL counterpart PAL AVCHD Full HD1080i25 to something else.
For each project, you can set the project preset manually if you do not want the program to take over setting the project preset based
on the properties of the first drag to the Timeline.
To set the project preset manually, open the project to the Expert workspace, go to File Menu/New/Project and Change Settings.
In the Change Settings area, change the project preset. Before you exit that area, be sure to have a check mark next to "Force Selected Project Setting on This Project" in the new project dialog.
Then you import your source media, using the appropriate Add Media choice.

Plant a match code for opening a project

Hi All,
I am trying to develope a match code of Plant for opening a project. Such that a list of projects to come out after entering a plant then select a project and then open a project like PO by supplying plant. I have gone through SPRO that is OPT2 match codes for Project definitions. But not found ready made match code to be included.
Is ther any easy way other ABAP use? or give logic how to deveope it.

If you mean opening a project in standard reports like CN41, it would be easier to use "dynamic selection option" and hard code the plant, and then save the selection version.
Everytime, you want to open projects in the respective plant, you can call the selection version in the initial screen of the report.

Is it possible to open multiple quicklooks simultaneously?

Quicklook is a great application for previewing documents with different file types. And it would be even more great if i could use Quicklook to look/work at multiple files at the same time, i can't find if their is a Plugin or Setting which enable this..
Now a Quicklook window closes when I click anywhere outside the Preview and it reopens when I hit the finder again. Why can't I work inside a program with a Preview open next to the document and for that matter in spaces? or on another monitor? And if it is possible to keep a Quicklook Preview open next to another document could it also be possible to open another Quicklook preview? It would save a lot of time if I didn't have to open all different applications for different file types if i just want to read-only and keep looking at when working at another file.
With less words.. is this possible?

AppleScript Editor > Preferences > General > Show Script menu in menu bar
Then you can execute your script by choosing if from the Script menu. If you want to execute it with a shortcut, you can use a utility such as Spark (which comes in very handy, because you can add keyboard shortcuts to launching a lot of other apps and scripts).

Does anyone know if there's a way to open twenty web pages at

rather than clicking twenty links, one at a time? I THINK I

In Firefox you can bookmark an entire set of tabs, in Opera
you can do a
similar thing with sessions. Just open the links once in
separate tabs,
then store them in a session. Next time you just have to open
that
session again.

Can't figure out how to open multiple projects in imovie

I want to copy clips from one project into another. I've read you simply open the two projects and drag clips from one to the other. I may be missing something quite basic, but I cannot figure out how to get two projects open at once. If I open from the project list, I can only choose one. What am I missing????

Open the project that you want to take video from, select the frames that you want to include in your other project, and Edit > Copy (or Command-C). Return to your Projects list, select the project you want to add the frames to, move the playhead to the point where you want the frames to be inserted, and Edit > Paste (Command-V).

Need solution for opening multiple connection to server in parallel

Hi..
I have used URL and URLConnectin classes to open connection to server,
and i used URLConnection.getInputStream( ) to download HTML pages.
Now my requirement is to open more than one connecton to single HTML document and download the file in parallel.
for example, if the HTML file size is 60KB..then i open three connection and
connection 1 downloads first 20KB
connection 2 downloads second 20KB
connection 3 downloads final 20KB
all the above should be done in parallel....by threading or else..
first of all i want to know is it possible to do the above in java?
anybody having solution for the above requirement?

Is there a batch process for opening multiple raw images and applying the same, stored preset?

I often have multiple exposures of the same subject, which I would like to treat identically. At present I have to open each one individually in Camera Raw, apply the preset, save, go on to the next, etc.
Looking for a way, if there is one, to select them all, in order to apply the preset to all at once. Or perhaps there may be a scripting method to allow this?

Which version of photoshop, camera raw and operating system are you using?
You should be able to open all the images inside camera raw, Select All (upper left of the camera raw dialog above the filmstrip of open images) and then apply the settings to all the selected images.

in that there is a frame ok in that frame there is a button.
so when u click on that button a new frame will open ok now the problem is that.
suppose u click 5 times on that button so that button will open 5 same type of frames.

Looking for open source project in JSF for learning

Hi,
I am quite a beginner to JSF, I think it will be good to read some existing source code, could anyone recommend some projects that I can turn to? I am particual interested in an online text editor.
I think currently I could understand how the jsf works, its relationship with jsp, html, css,and how It could cooperate with AJAX. and I have written a small amount of web pages , which were aimed at providing a blog-publish like service. That's why I am interested in online text editor. But any other capable project would be also helpful for me.

Firefox 6 hangs opening multiple tabs simultaneously

After updating from Firefox 5 to 6, opening more than 6 (or sometimes 8) separate website pages in tabs (via "Open All in Tabs") simultaneously hangs Firefox networking. After this, no page reloads (or plugins) can access anything remotely (constant reloading and eventual connection lost).
Closing and restarting Firefox allows connection again.
If the same sites are loaded in smaller groups of 4 or 5 at a time, there's no problem. Once the sites have been loaded manually, reloading them in larger groups works until Firefox is restarted and the problem recurs.
I have tried this on a clean install as well as an upgrade. I have disabled all extensions/plugins, made sure a proxy is not being used, disabled IPv6 and DNS caching.

I've been having the problem with as few as two tabs opening. The only time it does not do it is in safe mode. I have cleared my history, turned on the plugins one at a time, and run virus check. With any plugins turned on, it hangs every couple of web pages opened.

On page 49,IOS5 it shows an icon for opening multiple pages. I can 't find it.

How do I find it?

Safari on iOS 5 uses tabbed browsing, not thumbnail/page browsing as on previous iOS versions. Tap the '+' on the right-hand end of the tab bar to open a new tab - you can then use the 'x' on the left-end of each tab to close them.
