Menu - Submenu - and Sub Sub Menu

on my site, for some reason, the "sub sub" menu buttons called "deal 2, and deal 3 to the right of the business cards button, only work (turning green for the rollover) when the "sub sub" menu buttons in the "business flyers" menu are not there. If I was to delete the "business flyers" "sub sub" or "tri level" pages, therefore removing the buttons also, then the business card buttons all work as they should.
In other words the "business cards" button should work exactly the same as the "business flyers" button currently does.

any ideas why?

  • DVD starts on Sub Menu page and not top menu/startup page

    I'm sure there's an easy solution to this, but I can't seem to find it. I have tried highlighting the page that I want it to start at when initiating burning, but this did not work. I cannot find any menu selection to change it or any get info/inspector option. Thanks,
    Andrew

    Hi Andrew
    Welcome to apple discussions. We need some more info on exactly what you're trying to do. Are you using iDvd's preview function or apple's dvd player app? (if it's the latter, that's the way apple's dvd player is designed, to play at the point you last viewed the dvd).
    On the other hand if this happens consistently within iDvd's preview function; then this is not the norm. And I'd start by disposing of iDvd's plist followed by a complete restart of your mac. (make sure you quite iDvd first). The plist for iDvd is located in your preferences folder on your main HD. It looks like this:
    com.apple.iDvd.plist
    Hope this helps but if not just come on back.

  • How to permanently modify or erase the function of "share current page to" on the menu bar and right-click menu??? Need help!

    As titled, I want to shut the features of sharing pages. I could not find anywhere to do that. That function is really disturbing and did not get my allowance to be in the menu. I hate it.

    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
    * Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
    * https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode
    If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
    * Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
    * Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

  • Can anyone tell me how to increase the text size in my menu bar and drop down menus?

    Just bought a new 27" screen iMac.  The menu bar and drop down menu text is much to small for me to see without leaning close to the screen.  Does anyone know how to customize the text to a larger size.  This is an issue for any program I open.

    Once upon a time Apple displays packed in 72 dots to an inch (making their resolution 72 DPI). That meant that what we saw on screen at 100% scale was exactly what was printed on a printer - not to mention quite comfortable to read. However that advantage was eclipsed by the fact that photopgraphs and video were pixelated and the only solution to that was to increase the resolution - to pack in more dots per inch - which has the side effect of shrinking the size of text. Where I once used Word at 100% scale I now find it most comfortable at 150% scale.
    There are several solutions. One, as Lex gave you, was to reduce the resolution of the LCD display. But unlike CRT displays, an LCD is tuned to a specific resolution and when you change it the results tend to be blurry. Another is to keep the resolution as it is and to adjust each program (if the program allows it). This makes Word usable and your browser can be set to use no font smaller than a size you set (which has some unpleasant side affects at some Web sites), but some programs and some parts of programs cannot be changed. The menubar and menus are among them. The third solution is one that Apple promised several years ago but has not yet provided - a resolution independant GUI. We can only hope that comes soon. And there's another partial solution - look in System Preferences under Accessibility.

  • How to block the Form Settings for Main Menu to use ONLY "My Menu"?

    Hi everyone:
    Our customer wants to define an User Menu (My Menu) for each B1 user within the company and restrict the Modules at main menuu2026
    How can I block the Form Settings for the Main Menu?... It is possible to give an user Only access to My Menu and denied Authorization to the Modules?.
    I appreciate your help!!. Thanks very much
    Claudia Gutiérrez

    Hi,
    'My Menu' refers to the third tab on the Main Menu, and the
    authorization of 'Organize My Menu' works as below:
    - Full Authorization: Allows the user to access the Organize User Menu
      window (Tools -> User Menu -> Organize) and customize the menu.
    - No Authorization: The user cannot open this window.

  • Spry hover. Main menu bar, and sub menu highlight.

    Hello,
    I'm currently working on a project and it requries the use of Spry. I've got a horrizontal menu bar, and have a few questions.
    1. Is there a way to have the ACTIVE page/button, in the menu, a diffrent background image than the other link in the bar? For example. A pressed in button as the active current page. and the remain buttons looking as if "popping" out. Also a requirement for this project is using an iFrame for the main content with all pages linked to the iframe, I think this limits what I can do, correct?
    2. I've got what I want. somewhat, in regards to a background image and a hover. However I do NOT want my drop down/submenu to have the same highlight as the main menu bar. I want the main menu bar to have an image as the hover, but I only need to the drop down to have a color for it's highlight and no image.
    You can see what I'm talking about at http://www.ryanmarsh.ca/final

    There are different ways to have the active page button fifferent to the rest. Depending on your setup, you can inline styling, you could give the page an ID and using CSS rules give it a difference or you can use the SpryElementSelector to discover the URL and compare that with the URL in your menu. iFrames have no negative effects on a menubar.

    That can be done using CSS. Have a look here before you start http://www.dwcourse.com/dreamweaver/ten-commandments-spry-menubars.php#one

  • Re-using a function with minor changes to load sub Nav menu

    Hi.
    I have a function that loads xml and uses its to create a
    main navigation menu. When an object is selected the movie detects
    which button has been selected and traces the label for that
    button. I need to take this a step further and have a
    sub-navigation menu load when the "Home2" button is selected. As
    you can see from the comments in the code with 2 minor changes to
    the createBoxes function, the sub-nav menu can be loaded instead of
    the main nav menu. My problem is this, I need to main nav menu is
    be present at all times, I only need the sub nav to load when the
    Home 2 button is pressed and I somehow need to reuse the
    createBoxes function with the changes stated in the the comments in
    order to load the sub nav menu when required. I want to reuse this
    function (if possible) instead of duplicating the code in a new
    function.
    If anyone can show me how this is done I would be very
    greatful.
    Thanks
    Barry.

    basically the submenu will look exactly the same as the main
    menu, only it will be positioned to the right of it when the home2
    button is pressed. I then need it to unload when any other button
    is pressed. By changing the following lines in the current
    createBoxes function the submenu loads as I would like. I am just
    wondering if it is possible to pass in a couple of vars to change
    the lines of code as detailed below, depending on whether the home2
    button or one of the other mainn nav buttons is pressed.
    The code that when changed loads the submenu:
    In function createBoxes change var il:XMLList =
    xml.navigation.main_navigation; to var il:XMLList =
    xml.navigation.main_navigation.sub_navigation; . This loads the sub
    nav instead of the main nav but in the same position as the main
    nav.
    by also changing box.x = 100; to box.x = 260; in the function
    createBoxes the sub nav menu loads in the position I would like it
    to be.
    Now I am wondering if changing the code to something like the
    following (see attached code) could this work?
    Barry.

  • Dark grey square appearing behind every first sub-level menu

    I have created a horizontal Spry menu - it works perfectly in all major Windows browsers, except for one thing, there's a dark grey (probably the hover color) box slightly offset behind every first sub-level menu. I think it is a css issue - I have tried disabling my main stylesheet without any effect - so there is something with the SpryMenuBarHorizontal.css - but I can't figure it out.
    See http://www.perberntsen.com/ The Spry stylesheet is here
    Thank you.

    Hi Per,
    Delete line 113 of your CSS as per example:
    ul.MenuBarHorizontal ul
    border: 1px solid #000;  /* Border around the Submenu blocks */
    Rather than modifying the original Spry-stylesheet, create a new stylesheet (myStyle.css) that loads after the Spry-stylesheet, and place your mods in the new sheet. That way it will be easier to track down problems.
    Hopefully this helps.

  • Horizontal Spry Menu Bar with Horizontal Sub Menu

    I have created a horizontal menu bar with only one main menu item leading to a sub menu. I would like this sub menu to display horizontally also, instead of vertically as added by default.
    I am relatively new to dreamweaver and would appreciate any help possible.

    Came across the fix by accident thru extensions in menu bar,
    and choice of cursor for each section. Feeling happy! Happy New
    Year everyone.

  • Why is sub, sub, sub menu way off to the right?

    Why is my sub,sub, sub menu way over to the right? I've tried this also on a
    blank page and it does the same thing?
    http://www.carroll-indoor.com/temp9/
    Any other page suggestions are fine as well!

    I would be inclined to extract the menu from the page, place it in a new empty one, and work on getting in shape. I'm not seeing the sub, sub, sub menu display at all. I'm only seeing the final "Refs" item, and it has static positioning. Looking at the "Refs" parent <li>, Opera Dragonfly reports the computed style as:
    -o-transform-origin: 60px 18px;
    background-attachment: none;
    background-clip: none;
    background-color: #ffffff;
    background-origin: none;
    background-position: none;
    background-repeat: none;
    background-size: none;
    bottom: 160px;
    color: #868686;
    cursor: pointer;
    display: list-item;
    float: none;
    font-family: Arial;
    font-size: 12px;
    height: 36px;
    left: 212px;
    line-height: 18px;
    list-style-image: none;
    list-style-position: outside;
    list-style-type: none;
    margin-bottom: 0px;
    margin-left: 0px;
    margin-right: 0px;
    margin-top: 0px;
    padding-bottom: 0px;
    padding-left: 0px;
    padding-right: 0px;
    padding-top: 0px;
    position: fixed;
    right: 332px;
    text-align: center;
    top: 124px;
    width: 120px
    Looking at that, you have all margins and padding set to "0", floating turned off, with fixed positioning, reinforced by stating your "box" width and height, and explicitly defining the positioning for for that box with top, right, bottom, and left values. This results in all of your buttons being stacked one atop the other. If you are using some JavaScript to reposition everything, you may want to delve into that. I viewed your reference page in Opera 10.60, Firefox 3.6, Safari 4, and Chrome 4, on Mac OS 10.5.8.
    Big help, I am.

  • How do I get the vertical menu's widget's sub menu to come from the left?

    I am using the vertical menu widget and want to make the submenu come from the left of the parent item. Muse only offers the choice of the submenu coming from the right. Is there a cheat to sort this anyone's aware of? If not, is there a widget out there that would allow me to do this.

    Hi Anshul
    When I tried to replicate your video on my machine, it didn't work in the same way. I have a button on the site that links you through a drop-down menu of five options and from each of them comes several (between 5 and 10) other pages, via a drop down menu, currently on the right.
    Your video shows setting the Menu Type to All Pages, but I can't do this as i have to set it to Manual. I also cannot open all the child menus at the same time, as you do in the video. I can only do one set at a time.
    I can move the menus from right to left without a problem but when I re-open the menu, it's gone back to the right. Any suggestions?

  • Horizontal Menu - Submenu position

    I have delayed the new version of my site because I was
    looking for the solution, but now, I couldn't wait anymore and it
    is online with the following problems on the horizontal menu bar:
    1- On IE, the submenus' position is wrong and becomes
    vertical when mouse is hovering.
    2- On all browsers (those I could test, at least) the second
    level of submenus appears above the first level, hiding it. (see
    "amateur" submenus for exemple)

  • Spry Vert Menu - Submenu position in IE

    Hi - I've waited for a week for an answer from the Spry
    Framework discussion forum and no answer, so hope to get one here.
    I've searched through numerous posts, but none of the solutions
    seemed to work.
    The problem: Spry vertical menu, when a secondary page is
    loaded with the submenu visible, the sub moves to the top of the
    div. It won't stay aligned with it's parent menu item. I tried
    updating to Spry 1.6 and had more problems so backed up to 1.4.
    Works fine in FF, Safari.

    Thanks for any help.

    Any help out there?
