Menu to disappear when TIMER has expired

Hello!
I am developing a SIM Card Application!
I want to show a menu for a specific time!
I show a menu to the user, and initiate a timer at the same time. Once the timer expires, I want that menu to disappear.
Nothing happens because the phone waiting for a Menu Respons from the user!
How can i solve this problem??

Whatever you had running when the system shuts down will automatically start up again after a reboot. This is a designed behavior, so you don't have to worry about having to open everything you had running. If you have Safari running and you reboot, it'll even open up all the pages you had open.
I believe there is a way to turn this off in the System Preferences, but IMO, it's a pretty convenient feature.

When there are more than one .pdf file open, the icons on the menu bar disappears when the curson hovers over them. To get them to reappear, Adobe Reader has to be close and reopen. This happens randomly. Has anyone else seen this and is there a fix.

It asked me that too.Don't worry and just put it in. Itunes doesn't charge unless your son buys something. The password happens to me all the time. Credit card was only once. Just make sure your son knows not to buy anything without permission so he doesn't accidently charge you something.

UME change password in LDAP when this has expired

I've configured SAP EP 2004 SP18, ume datasource is LDAP Active Directory, with SSL, and as administrator I can reset the password.
The problem appears when password is expired and the flag "user must change password" is marked in Active Directory and in the portal dosen't appear the form to the user to change the password.
If you read in ADS attribute "pwdLastSet" when is "0" means that the user must change password, I'm trying to map this attribute to ume attribute "passwordchangerequired", but it's not working, also are different formats.
The result is that in the portal login is not appearing the form to change the password when it's necesary, any ideas to map this active directory password or workaround...

same problem here ........ Iv'e set the UME expire date, and this works (kind of). The problem is that if both the Active Directory AND the UME are set to expire at 30 days, when the user logs on to the network on the 30th day, he is prompted to change his network password. Then as soon as he tries to log on to the portal he is prompted again (since the portal/ume doesnt know that the password has been changed in the active directory data source).
The user is prompted 2 times to change his password, and this is obviously confusing. And now his network password is different that what he just changed it to (since the portal / ume pw change changes the Act Dir password).
Any suggestions?

Menu bar disappears when applications quit

Hello everyone,
I have this issue on my brand New iMac 27 (core i5 / Fusion drive) since it's out of the box : each Time i quit any application, the menu bar disappears and i have to click on the desktop to make it back.
Any clue anyone?

I just got a 27" Core i5 with the Fusion Drive and it was doing the same thing - Menu Bar would disappear from screen when I quit any application.
I called Apple, their guy (nice guy, btw) told me to do the following:
- power off/shut down the Mac
- unplug the power cord
- press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds
- plug in the power cord
- restart
I did this and the problem was resolved. He said this procedure resets the System Management Controller.
It worked for me - hope it works for you and others who experience this.

What I would like to do is toggle the "Dev1/ctr1" to "Dev1/ctr0" every 10 seconds. I have investigated into the "Elapsed Time" express vi and I am able to successfully count the number of times the time has elapsed, however when 10 seconds have gone by I cannot simply update toggle input to "CO Pulse Freq" with a different counter input because it has already past that object and is busy running in the loop above. How can I reset the pulse to execute with a different counter input?
In short, the Elapsed Time express VI works perfectly by itself, but when the time has elapsed how do I force restarting the pulse train with "Dev1/ctr0"?

assuming you want to toggle control from 1 to 0 and back every ten secs and zeroing out the other channel...index the array to write values to one or the other channel.

Need some help. The top menu bar disappears when in an app...?????

I recently came across a problem that when I go into an application, for example MAIL, the above menu bar disappears. I am not able to access anything that would be in the above MAIL menu bar. I am still able to write/send/check mail but if I wanted to edit or change something the bar is not there. When I minimize MAIL or any other application I'm in and click on the desktop then the finder menu bar appears again. I'm not sure how to fix this...Thanks for any help someone can offer.

Try restarting the Mac and see if that helps.

User Menu Image disappear when update the system menu

Hi all,
We created an user menu after the system menu Sales A/R, with an image as an icon.
And also we changed some of the system menu description.
But the problem is when you change some information from the Admistration menu, the system menu is updated and all the changes we made in the systems menu description and the image of our user menu, disappear.
The system menu description return to the oficial description and our image isn't showed after the system menu update.

There is a very good example which might be helpful in this context; given by SAP which is installed while installing SDK. The sample project is stored in the followng default folder :
C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One SDK\Samples\COM UI DI\VB.NET\UIDIBasicApp
In th above sample project the basic need for adding images to the menu has been addressed.
PS: Would it be possible to change the system menu description before adding the image to the custom menu?

My dock and top menu bar disappear when I am using Firefox

When I am using Firefox 4 my Dock and the top of screen meu bar disappear (similar to a Hide) but will reappear when I click my mouse on the desktop. It really annoying! I can't minimize the Firefox window into the Dock for later use at all! Any way that I can make this stop?

This has happened to me before and it took me a long time to work it out.
But all you need to do is froce quit safari or any application that this is happening to and start the application again.

When time has reached

Hi all,
I want to control the flow of code part depending on the time passed.
For example when passed time reached up to 20 seconds,I want to disappear a button on the screen.
I have controlled time as the difference of what has done between two events(click).If this difference is > 20, made button disappeared.
But I want to do it when difference is ok. Without need to click second time.
When clicked for example on execute, if he did not use a button for 20 seconds, just make it disappear.
How can I do this auto-triggering?

Using OSX 10.9.4. Why does the Finder Menu bar disappear when using Chrome?

I've used Chrome for a couple years, and all of a sudden the Dock and the Finder Menu bar are not accessible when using Chrome. They are present in every other app, as usual. Please help me to get the Finder Menu and Dock active when using Chrome. Thank you.

Chrome may somehow be set to run in full-screen mode. I don't use Chrome so can't check its settings options, but try hitting ESC when Chrome is doing this and see if you get the menubar and Dock to reappear.
OS X Mavericks: Take apps full screen

My taskbar, at the bottom of the screen ( including start menu button) disappears when using Firefox. I am using Windows-7 and Firefox 18.0.1.

I think I mistakenly hit a keyboard shortcut when this happened. The taskbar isn't set to autohide and I am not in fullscreen either,
Any help would be appreciated in helping me return my Firefox browser back to it's original standard.

When I've had a similar problem, it was because I was accessing the iTunes store from a device I hadn't used before, such as when I upgraded from an iPad 1 to the iPad 2. It was a little confusing to me until I figured it out.
All I had to do was use the ID of my existing account and play along with the iTunes store. As I recall, it asked for my password twice, and the security code from the back of my credit card. After that, downloads proceeded as before.

I am currently learning how to do diagnostics on mac hardware but I am not a native mac user. It is unlikely that this is a software issue. Please, any input will be helpful.

Try these in order testing your system after each to see if it's back to normal:
1. a. Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
    b. Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
2. Restart the computer in Safe Mode, then restart again, normally. If this doesn't help, then:
     Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the
     COMMAND and R keys until the Utilities menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and
     after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears.
     Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
3. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
     Reinstall the 10.9.2 update: OS X Mavericks 10.9.2 Update (Combo).
4. Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks: Reboot from the Recovery HD. Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks from the Utilities menu, and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
Reinstall the 10.9.2 update: OS X Mavericks 10.9.2 Update (Combo).
