Menubar not changing when app changes.

Sometimes when I switch applications, the menubar does not change to the menubar of the current application. The actual menu items are there, but what I see is the previous app's text menus.
It seems most often it is Finder's menu that I see instead of the application I switched too. The most frequent applications that seem to trigger this issue are Chrome and Mail.
This is on a Mac Pro with OSX Lion.
Has anyone else seen this behavior?
As far as I can tell this started happening this spring some time, not exactly sure when. I've gone through the usual diagnostics and fixes and so far can't find out what is happening. There are no errors that seem relevant in the logs at the times when this happens.
Usually switching apps a couple of times fixes the issue.

In Crystal, the parameters and filters are defined separately.
Let's say you have defined a parameter - "Country". You could see this paramter in the list of parameters.
When you run the report, the prompt will appear for input values. Even though the values are provided, it won't apply as a filter to the report query unless you specify manually.
So, Go to select expert and select a variable on which you want to apply the condition. You should assign this prompt value in place of condition corresponding to this variable.

It doesn't change on your device automatically. To change the iCloud ID on an iOS device you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
To change the ID on your Mac, go to System Preferences>iCloud, sign out, then sign back in with the new ID.

Why are my apps changing when i change the orientation from landscape to portrait

Recently, on my ipad mini retina, when i change the orientation from landscape to portrait, the apps change. For example, when i enter a game like impossible and change to landscape to play it and then exit the screen has shifted to either the right or left and shows the first line of the next pages apps. Its kind of like when im in the middle of changing from one page to another but it only changes back to normal when i tough the screen. Im not sure if this has anything to do with the new 7.1 ios but it is becoming really annoying

I know it is not a specific app problem because it happens when i come out of some of my apps, it doesnt happen all of the time, only sometimes. Also if any of you could help me with another issue with the same device, when i connect to wifi/hotspot i get static on the screen, it is very noticable when i show a dark picture or a large amount of the screen is a dark colour but i wanted to know if this was normal with the ipad mini retina. I have seen discussions about this device having problems connecting to wifi but i havent found any discussions on this. Does anyone know could cause this?

Condition value not updated when qty changed

hi all,
I have created a new condition ZPR1 (copied from PR00) and use a new formula for it.
There is a problem when I change the qty after the item is billed.
Suppose the original qty is 1 and total ZPR1 price is 100. When I change the qty to 2, the ZPR1 price is still 100! It will change to 200 if the item is not billed.
Anybody encounters such problem and how to solve?

I don't mean to change the unit price.
I mean the condition value (the item total price) is not updated
You can't change the price anymore in the condition tab after you billed
But when you change the qty of the item, the total value should change accordingly
And I think for my case I should not cancel the invoice. Suppose original qty is 10, and there is partial shipment of 7 and billed the customer. Later customer request to reduce the qty to 7 to complete the item. We should not cancel the invoice in this case.
Try to test with PR00 and PN00, you will see the item value will be changed according to the item qty.

I just download and fresh install from portal.office.com
the system is clean fresh and update to the most recently patch
After this issue , I try to
1. repair Office 2013 and Lync 2013 : the result > still freeze
2. Uninstall office 2013 and lync 2013 -> Reboot -> install office/ Lync : the result > still freeze
3. change the language key from ' to shif+alt : the result > Not freeze
4. Chage the language key back to ' : the result > Freeze

This is a known issue, to work around this issue, you must select one of the other keyboard shortcuts from Control Panel.

E63: Day & Date not showing when profile changed

Hello All,
When I change profile from "Normal" to something else on Nokia E63, I do not see day and date on the top right corner and instead see the profile name. I would like to see day and date with profile name there. Is there anyway I can get this done?
When phone goes to screen saver mode I have set up a digital clock as screen saver and in that I can see profile, day, date and time.

Adobe Elements 9 not responding when saving changes

Adobe Elements 9 says not responding when I save image changes. I does eventually save the image changes but takes awhile. Is this normal? My computer is rinning Windows 7 and I have 8GB of ram so I don't think that ram memory is the problem. Thanks

In other versions of photoshop elements, you don't get the not responding
thing at the top of the screen when saving png files, but it still takes a noticeable
amount of time to save png's in other versions of photoshop elements and the full
photoshop version.
I haven't been able to find it yet, but there is a post somewhere in the photoshop forums
where an adobe photoshop engineer explained why png's take longer to save than most
other file formats, but ssprengel said something about the compression of png's which
sounds like the gist of the post.
There have been more than a few complaints about the not responding messages in pse 9
on windows machines for various operations, but as far as saving images, the not responding
message doesn't seem to hinder saving files, but it is very annoying.

I have 2 residences each with a printer. When I move from one place to another and try to print I always have to make sure the correct printer is shown in the print window. What can I do to make one change on my MacBook Pro when I change locations so I am not bothered with this nuisance problem?

There was a way from OS9 location manager to set a default printer for any given location. This is not the case in OSX.
You can however, easily change the default printer in Terminal.app with lpoptions -d PRINTERNAME. To view all the printers type lpstat -p. Keep in mind that the name in lpstat -p may be a little different than the name in Printer Setup Utility. You must use the lpstat -p, PRINTERNAME when changing it in Terminal.app. Of course, if the names are the same, you don't need to worry about it.

Are you sure this is not an optical illusion due to the background change?

You either have to physically delete (or rename) the preference files or, if using the Alt, Ctrl, and Shift method, be sure that you get a confirmation dialog.
This resets all settings in Photoshop to factory defaults.
A complete uninstall/re-install will not affect the preferences and a corrupt file there may be causing the problem.

How to stop size of JTextField from changing when I change font to bold

I'm working on a Sudoku solver for a CS project. I've got JTextFields for the input. I want to bold the entries of the begining puzzle, like they are in the magazines. When I set the font to bold, it changes the size of the text field. I'm using the gridbaglayout and have tried everything to set in stone the size of a text field, but nothing seems to work. I've set the maximum, minimum size, the setSize method, as well as setting the prefered size. But no matter, when I change the font from plain to bold, the box grows in size. How do I prevent this from happening. I can post my gui code if it would help.

Nothing should change when you do this. With legacy BB devices, there could be some changes...but with BB10, nothing should change.
