Mercalli v2 and PRE 9 and or older PRX
Dear Readers,
I have a problem with using Mercalli V2 and PRE 9.0
I placed some 1440 x 1080i clips on the time line and applied on ALL clips the default of Mercalli v2.
I then outputed or shared the clips to Phootshp.com.

looks reasonable good.
when afterwards playing the movie: ( see thread web-DVD's), a .mp4 file is placed in the internet cach of your hardisk.
This happens when you play the whole photshop.com video.
You cna find the files by searching on extinsion .mp4.
There are two, and you can use the biggest file.
By test -purposes i have replaced that . .mp4 file,now to YUTUBE.

it looks reasonable good , like the orginal Photoshop.com seeing.
But attention:
Using the same timeline again with the Mercalli V2 effect ( in default state) on all those clips and shared /output to youtube, gives a problem.

you get moving edges! Very strange!
I have a heavily discsssion with Prodad to day, and they suggested that the cause is by PRE9."
they say :
Your rendering in Elements 9 is OK. Your final result is OK. Only your export to Youtube not. Thats a problem of the exportation in the you tube format.
Also i have tried by another reason to make small .wmv files ( 320 x 240) , all under the influence of Mercalli 2
they all have very much moving edges.
I have did this once also wit ha output of 1280 x 720. and then i can't see moving edges.
My opinion is that Mercalli v2 should give for all measuments good stabilized effects.
Who has the same experience or will try for me also such tests.
When i am confirmed that others has the same issue, then we must complain to ADOBE OR Prodad.
In my opion it could aslo be the Mercaalli V2 who has a bug.
My argumentation :
When outputting, the timeline is rendered in Memory . And i suppose also the endresult is in memory before outputting to Youtube.
So a splitsecond for sending it to the web, it should be completely finished.
So the moving edges can't be there !
But they are there , so is it PRE or Mercalli 's fault ?

first: all the clips on the timeline are AVCHD clips with measurs of 1440 x 1080i. they have a extension of .MTS
Usin gspot, ( i have used it oftn i nthe past) gives notmuch information.

I have set up a Netgear dual band modem which works well with the iPhone and an older MacBook, but with this brand new MacBook it asks for a password every time I reopen the computer and open safari. As you can imagine this is very annoying. It says I am not connected to the internet and offers me a choice of nearby networks including mine and then asks for a password when I select it. Why does it do this with our new MacBooks (also with my son's brand new one) and not with the iPhone, iPad and older MacBook? They happily automatically connect to our network after entering the password just the once.
Sig, I appreciate you trying to be helpful. I have no idea what issues you were having or what issue exactly pgrounds has been having. Your assumption that everyone's set up is the same as yours is false however. There are many many documented WiFi issues that are a result of Lion installs. Many have been solved by 10.7.1 and 10.7.2. Others have been solved by a large variety of work arounds. Others have not had their issues solved yet.
I am one of those. I have an IT background, and I spent the better of five hours digging up workarounds and attempting all of them. For the benefit oh anyone who is having similar issues, I have posted links to all of those workarounds here. None of them worked in my case, but hopefully they will help pgrounds or others.
So, once again, if you have a new idea, I'd love to here it. But if it has already been posted in one of these links, it's not helpful, let it go.

I have 10.7.3 lion on my computers an iMac and a macbook pro plus a new iPod touch, and two older touches, now trying to sync my calendars is not working deletes some events, duplicates others, I want all my calendars to be the same. Any ideas

I tried to update itunes and keep getting these messages..the older version of Bonjour cannot be removed..and The older version of Apple software update cannot be removed. How do i fix this does anyone know? I recently got an IPhone 4 and don't understand all this stuff yet. Thanks

How to delete Folders and Files older than 10 day ?
If I use this below command, I am able to delete only the files and files in sub-folders older than 10 day,

Your command is ok for files, for folders you need to do another command:
forfiles -p "D:\Testing\Sample" -d -10 -c "cmd /c IF @isdir == TRUE rd /S /Q @path"

I think you will find the battery life only changed
for the 60/new 80 and not the 30 either for the 1st
5th gen or 2nd.
Actually this is not accurate. Playback time for music wasn't changed, but video playback went from 2 hours to 3.5 hours. Much of this was due to some hardware changes between the newer and older 5g iPod's. Also battery life leaving the display on a low setting has very little impact on the newer iPod compared to the older one. So, they are different, no doubt about it. -
Why can't I upload and view older versions of keynote to iCloud but I can older versions of PowerPoint? This just seems wrong.

Two weeks ago we bought a mini iPad in New York. In New York, we have also taken into use cases. The mini ipad disposal was connected to the mac computer of my son, who lives there. We have not made backup. At home in the Netherlands, we wanted this case for charging on the Windows computer, that we have at home. Immediately, the itunes program was activated (we had a few years an ipod in the house). Appears in the computer the message that you can register. Cases I tried that. I do not know if I did succeeded. There also were some choices of settings. So I made the mistake of choosing the setting to use movies as I recall.
That same afternoon comes on the ipod in the message screen that he can connect to the server no contact. WIFI contact fails. The ipad is happening the same. The computer still works fine with the wifi connection. Both Apple devices have done well yesterday here in the Netherlands.
Please give me a good advice?Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync/delete all videos and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Unfortunately, if Apple simply allowed people to log into different accounts and download content, everyone would be using everyone could share everyone else's content and bypass the need to purchase anything. To protect against this, they limit you to logging into a new account to once every 90 days.
If two or more of you, have different accounts and use only one computer, you should each have your own user account on the computer, to avoid the need to log in and out of iTunes. -

Apple offers no supported way to do it. As such any other non supported ways that may exist cannot be discussed in these forums.
No that if you try any of the non supported ways you may void your warranty and forfeit any support from Apple including these forums.
Yoiu can use Google to find ways of doing this at your own risk. -

I used to be able to edit and delete older messages - up to a week old or so - but with recent update I noticed that I cannot do either after one hour or so. I use Windows 7. What happened to Skype? I prefer being able to edit older messages ...

To recap; I have a Dell Dimension 8300 and am operating with Windows XP. I bought my daughter a new iPod Nano for Chistmas, and when we plugged it in, it required us to upgrade to the latest iTunes software. Her old iPod and old iTunes worked fine on this computer. Since upgrading to the new iTunes, it won't let us download new CDs into iTunes, and now it won't even recognize her iPod. iTunes locks up, and my entire computer locks up. I can't get out with Task Manager any more, I can't even turn off my computer. I actually have to unplug it to reset it. I found a website where I can download older versions of iTunes (http://www.oldapps.com/itunes.htm) but I can't install an older version with the more current version on my computer (it gives me error messages with this info.) (I want to work backwards to maybe find a version of iTunes that will work with the Nano, but not cause all of the problems that I am having.) How do I get rid of the new version of iTunes, so that I can install an older version of iTunes (which worked just fine for years with the old iPod) without losing all of the music I have downloaded into iTunes?
I'm about to go nuts with this thing. How can Apple say that "they do not support iTunes?" The iPod requires iTunes to even be useable! Without iTunes, you can't even put music on the iPod! Have you noticed that most people having problems have upgraded to the new version of iTunes, and are running on Windows XP?

My daughter plugged in her iPod last night just to recharge it. iTunes locked up, my entire computer locked up. I had to disconnect the power to get it to turn off, and now my entire computer remains locked up. I cannot get ANY application to open. I am having to post this from my computer at work, as my home computer is completely unusable at this time. Thanks iPod and iTunes. I'm really glad that I upgraded to the iPod Nano. -
We have started using LV 7 for all of our new projects but still have to support a number of older projects made in LV 6.1. After installing LV 7, MAX 3 and NIDAQ 7, we can not do remote DAQ configuration on the older version of RT and can not target to the RT system either. We used NIs uninstall for MAX and NIDAQ and then reinstalled the older versions, but we still can not remote DAQ configuration. Computers that have the older versions of MAX and NIDAQ and have never had the newer versions installed have no problem with remote DAQ configuration or targeting.
How can we go back to the previous version of MAX and NIDAQ and get it to work? What is left
after uninstalling the newer versions?Rob,
I would recommend creating a Service Request on-line and contacting an Application Engineer. There are several possible reasons that software might not be completely removed, and we have some utilities that will make sure this does not happen. There also might be some issues with downloading the code to the "target". We could quickly reformat the controller and make sure to get the older software on the system.

Syncing Addresses with iCloud and an older iPod Touch
I've got my iMac set up to sync Address Book with iCloud. I've also got a 2nd generation iPod Touch that cannot run iO5 so it cannot communicate with iCloud.
When I sync the iPod with the iMac if I don't turn off the "Sync Address Book Contacts" option in iTunes I get a bunch of duplicates on the iMac (and I've found that the "Look for Duplicates" command in Address Book doesn't find these duplicates). It looks like I can choose the "All iCloud" group in Address Book and that will not show the duplicates, but is there any other way to eliminate duplicates and still sync with an older iPod Touch?Your iPod Touch cannot access iCloud so you can only use iTunes; and as you have found this results in your Mac bringing in the contacts from both iCloud and the iPod and you get duplicates. I'm afraid there isn't any way of stopping this as such, unless you can live without syncing to iCloud.

Crashes every time 2 external drives are disconnected
Wether it be two external USB drives or 2xesata drives (via expresscard) Ejecting the drives is fine, but once ejected the problem comes from powering down the second drive (switch off power). It doesn't matter which way around the drives are plugged
