Merge and publish multiple records from OLE DB connection

Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me, I'm new to LiveCycle Designer. I'm using Adobe LiveCycle Designer 7.0, version 7, 0, 041126, 0 on a MicroSoft XP machine.
I've created a two page form and bound the data elements from an OLE DB data connection to an Oracle table. When I click the "PDF Preview" tab, I'm able to see the data has merged correctly.
When I publish the form the first row of data from the OLE DB merges correctly into the PDF file, but it's only the first record.
Question 1 - How can I get ALL of the records to merge into a single PDF when I publish the file?
Question 2 - I also need a way to merge all of the records into sepearate PDF files. Is this possible?

After a week of digging through forums, documentation and working with Adobe Support, it has become painfully evident that Adobe Pro 8 with LiveCycle Design can not do the mail merge function that I'm requesting; however, I've found a solution to Adobe's shortcoming. There is a third party product that is a plugin called MailMerge by Evermap. It cost around $149 and it's well worth the time and aggrevation! They have a lot of other plugins as well for basic functions that are missing out of the Adobe products.

How to loop and add multiple records from db in .pdf using cfdocument

I have a query that pulls a users information (Id, FirstName,
LastName, Title,etc). I then use cfdocument to output a person's
biography into a pdf. This is great, because we no longer have to
manually create bios, as they are now all dynamically generated.
The problem I have now is that we want to be able to select
multiple users and create a .pdf with each of their bios included
in the one pdf.
How do I loop thru records from a sql database in a
cfdocument that includes a header and footer in cfdocument items,
and ensure that one persons bio doesn't continue on the page with
anothers.
Here's the code I have so far for the cfdocument:

Put the query around just the body of your cfdocument not
around the whole cfdocument tag. Also, move any query information
out of the header and put that in the body of the document. Lastly,
put a cfdocumentitem pagebreak after each bio...you will need to
check the recordcount of the query against the row you are on so
that you don't add an empty page break at the end.

Creating multiple records from 1 record in the source file for Import DM

Hi Experts,
Today I am working on an interface/import where I want to get the following result:
Source file contains a records like:
Account, Entity, DriverX
Sales,EntityA,ZZ
The BPC appset contains the 2 dimensions Account and Entity next to CostCenter dimension. The DriverX field in the source file is just additional information in the source file. However based on this DriverX we need to determine what CostCenter to choose but we also need to have the same record assigned to a second record in BPC.
Following my example, based on DriverX value I need to create 2 records:
Account, Entity, CostCenter,
Sales,EntityA,CC1
Sales,EntityA,CC2
I don't have a problem assigning the record to 1 CostCenter based on DriverX value but I have a problem creating my second record. Does any of you have had the same "challenge" and if so would you like to share the solution for this?

Many thanks for your answer. And yes this would be a solution. However I just simplified my case as the decision to create an second record and where to post is depending on more than 1 field in the source.
But I will keep it in mind, because I also can opt for a solution to store data differently in BPC fac-tabels which will help me to use script logic.
If it is not possible to create multiple records from a single records in the standard functionality in the Transformation and/or Conversion file, I have to create a custom DTSX or change my way of storing data.
Anyone else who is having an alternative idea like Greg came up with?

Hi Dhanush,
You need to change the occurance of idoc to 0 to unbounded ie need to opt idoc packaging.
Just download the xsd of you idoc to the desktop and change the occurance tag as "<xsd:element name="IDOC" type="COND_A.COND_A02" maxOccurs="unbounded" />" and then reimport it into External definition and use it in your message mapping and then map it with you source structure.

Mapping Multiple records from Db Adapter to the project data objects

If the database adapter do a query to the database and return multiple records, how can I map those records to the data object? And If I want to iterate the records and each record to invoke a sub-process, what can I do?

Allow multiple records from this table to be displayed in the form is greyed out.

I'm trying to add a second table to my main data source in an InfoPath 2010 form (database template), but the option to allow multiple records from this table to be displayed in the form is greyed out and I can't select it.
Can someone please tell me how to correct this? I'm guessing that there might have to be something change in MS SQL because on other occasions I've have not encountered this problem when adding a second table.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So I've found a work around, but I still don't know why I'm having the problem in the first place.
I've been trying to relate the two tables by using the primary key in the parent table to a view of the child table that also includes primary key in the parent, e.g. the ORDER ID in the order table relating to the ORDER ID in the view of the order detail
table. For whatever reason whenever I did that InfoPath prohibited the data source from returning multiple order details.
My work around is to use views of both the order table and order details table that include the customer ID and to relate the two table in InfoPath using the customer ID. Now I get a data source that allows multiple order detail records. In order to get
just the order details that I want that relate to a particular order, I use a rule that sets the order id in both the order and order details query data sets before executing the query (as opposed to just the order data set).
Hope that's a clear explanation.

Delete Multiple Records from Item Master

We received wrong master data which has been uploaded and two groups have to be deleted. All the items in those particular groups have also to be deleted. Can anyone suggest how to delete multiple records from Item Master?
Currently I am navigating through each Item and doing a Right Click + Remove. It is very painful given the huge number of records.

I recommend you not to run any kind of delete or update SQL query as it harms DB.
You can create your own front end application with the help of any technical consultant which can be
achieved very easily. Else such problems create a big problem during upgradation to next version.......

How do I publish multiple websites from iweb?

Hi, I'm new with iweb and .mac in general and wanted to know about publishing multiple accounts from my iweb.
I bought a five-user edition of .mac last week and I wanted to get at least three different websites up and running. One site is almost 50% done and has uploaded just fine but when I tried to create another site in iweb, I have no idea where it's going. I created a second account in .mac and it shows up (I can log into and everything) but how can I publish to my brand new site without the other one going through each and every time?
This question may sound really dumb but please bear and mind that I'm a newbie with iweb and mac (I just got this powerbook in Sept. 2006).

Actually, Dale, this is a pretty common question.
If you want the different sites to load to different .mac accounts (or different sub accounts), the easiest solution is probably to set up several different user accounts on your computer, one for each .mac sub account. In each of those accounts, set the appropriate .mac info in system preferences. Seems like I've heard of another approach, but this is probably the simplest.
Have you already started building a second site in the same user account (on your computer) as the first site? If so, we'll need to walk you through domain separation, too.
One other heads up: it is very important to back up your domain files (in your case in each account). The domain file is found in ~/library/Application Support/iWeb, where ~ refers to your home folder for your user account on the computer. Make sure to make a backup copy (preferably on an external hard drive or CD) after every major change in your website. Don't be lulled into thinking that a published website serves as a backup. It is not possible to import a published site back into iWeb. The domain file is your only link to creating/editing the site in iWeb.

How to select multiple records from a TREE in the table

I have a tree structure which is in the table.When I open the node of the tree,all the subnodes are coming as one-one records in the table.I want to slect multiple record from this table.I applied onLeadSelect for this table,I can select only 1 record from the table.
Can any one plz suggest me how to select multiple records from the table so that I can get all the data of those selected record.

In my case, there is a table structure which has to be updated with values after validating a key. i don't think there is any RFC available now. do i need to create bapi/rfc for that?

1) use <input name=rc[j] value="..."> instead of
display a raw text
2) parse parameters in doPost method of your servlet
to update appropriate values.
3) Make a empty row enable inserts

Iphone 4s-when wifi is off and I am away from my home connection can I receive and send texts and text messages? I want to keep my wifi off to limit data (email etc) to when I want to check it. Cellular is roaming"voice only" it says.Can I get texts?

When my wifi is off and I'm away from my home connection - it shows wifi off (unless I turn it on to check my email etc.) - and in the settings cellular it shows "voice only". Will I be able to receive and send texts in those settings? Or check voicemail. I had wanted to keep my email from coming in all the time and only want to check it periodically - so I turn ON my wifi when I want to check my email. But when my wifi was off away from home- I hadn't seemed to be getting my texts. So- do I need to keep wifi roaming connected when away from home to receive and send my texts in real time. (which is what I want) or am I still able to send and receive texts with my wifi off when I'm away from home. (When I'm home I am connected to my home data plan automatically through wifi and I get texts when I'm home - but I'm thinking I'm not getting texts in real time - is it because my wifi is off when I'm away from home? My cellular shows voice only when my wifi is off away from home. Am I doing it right to receive and send texts away from home? Or do I need to open up the wifi in order to receive and send text messages. I know that I would need to turn on wifi roaming - which will use data - for email checking or sending - as well as to use browsing apps and now I'm guessing to receive voice messages I may have missed?
