Merge delivery and order
Hi all,
I need to do a report with delivery document, item delivery and sales order document.
I have done a multiprovider with ODS-item sales order and ODS-item delivery loaded respectively with 2lis_11_vaitm and 2lis_12_vcitm but don't merge order and delivery.
Can you help me, please?
Gianmarco
Hi,
If your report is working or not????
If you have made the multicube on delivery and sales cube then it should work.
Have you checked your identifications whether they are proper or not???
You will have sales doc in both the extractors try to make sellection from both in the identification of the multicube.delievry will hqave identification from only delivery cube.
key figures from the delivery cube relevant for the delivery doc like delivered qty will populate against delivery doc only and not against sales doc....try to give proper identification you will defenately see the values.
Thanks

Difference between "Order to Delivery" and "Order to Cash"
Hi,
This could be a basic question. But, can any one tell me the difference between 'Order to Delivery" and "Order to Cash" Process.
Thanks
Anithahi
Order to cash cycle in SD starts with Inquiry -> Quotation -> Order -> Delivery ->Picking-->Post Goods Issue -> Invoice -> Accounting Document generation
For Inquiry
Doc. Type: IN
T.Code: VA11(create), VA12(change), VA13(display)
Process: Quotation
Doc. Type: QT
T.Code: VA21(create), VA22(change), VA23(display)
Process: Order
T.Code: VA01(create), VA02(change), VA03(display)
Doc. Type: OR
For Delivery
Doc. Type: LF
T.Code: VL01N(create), VL02N(change), VL03(display)
For Billing
Doc. Type: F2
T.Code: VF01(cre ate), VF02(change), VF03(display)
For Accounting Document
T.Code: FB03(display)
where as ORDER TO DELIVERY
Delivery Order is the term of core team normally used for Delivery. Ideally insome of the legacy, they do not create Sales Order & use the term Delivery Order for Delivery.
InSAP, we mornally map it as Sales order --> Delivery --> Post Goods issue --> Billing.
At times we have to give meaning to the term sprecified by core team / end user & arrive at SAP terminology. -
Item category for delivery and order related billing.
Hi All,
I have am faceing one problem in QEC. My client having delivery related billing and order related billing. For we have maintain only one billling document(order related and delivery related).
I have a item category in the sales order Zo09 for this item category system allowing the user to create both billing documents(order and delivery related) Please advise how i can stop the users to create delivery related and order related.

KV
Edited by: kv on May 8, 2009 11:54 AMHi
My client having delivery related billing and order related billing. For we have maintain only one billling document (order related and delivery related).
What is the meaning of this statement ?
Say in a single order or order type say OR there can be two materials with different item categories say TAN and ZTAN and
TAN with billing relevance as A( delivery related billing) and ZTAN with billing relevance as B (order related billing )
If that happens the billing will be split
In VOV8 we mention for OR the order related billing as F1 and delivery related billing as F2 in the billing tab
Now in billing TAN will pick F2 as it is delivery related billing
and
ZTAN will pick F1 as it is order related billing
Suppose in your sales doc type if you have mentioned both as F2 then also there will a billing split in billing there will be two F2 invoices TAN will pick one F2 invoice and ZTAN will pick another F2 invoice and this is a wrong way of doing things
I have a item category in the sales order Zo09 for this item category system allowing the user to create both billing documents(order and delivery related) Please advise how i can stop the users to create delivery related and order related
How can one item category can pick both order related and delivery related billing?
Not at all possible in SAP as we can mention only one control in the billing relevance field in item cat
Your issue needs more clarity about your problem for suggesting some suitable help

One Billing Document with Delivery- and Order-Related billing items
We wish to include both delivery-related and order-related billing items in a single billing document. Is that possible using configuraiton? We have seen some forums indicate it is not possible without ABAP.
Thanks SAP gurus!Bradley,
I still think this is possible.
Delivery related billing or order related billing is decided by the configuration of billing relevance in the Item category. So if those things are properly configured, it should be possible to include delivery related items and order related items together in one invoice document.
When you do that, you have to ensure that the item categories are relevant for either delivery related billing or order related billing.
Then in copy control, only order related I.Cs shoudl be configured in VTFA and only delivery related I.Cs should be configured in VTFL. There should not be any mix up in this configuration. If there is any mix up, then it may cause problems.
If these two configurations are done, it is possible. You may also note that in VF01, it asks only for documents, not specifically deliveries or orders. So it is possible in standard SAP itself. Please configure it and try it. -
In BI SD how to get Sales Document wise Order Delivery and balance Quantity
We are on the verge of SAP BI implementation. We are facing a problem as in BI we have to
show Sales Order wise - Order Quantity then associated all the deliveries and the Quantity delivered
and finally Billed Quantity
Format Required is
Order No Order Qty Delivery Qty Billed Qty
We are using 0sd_c03 cube here Order , delivery and Billing come as separate Line items
Now bringing them to one line item is a chellange for us
can any body help us
Thanks
ShivaniHi,
Merging of Order, delivery and billing information is not so easy.
In ECC we have a new datasource for Open order quntity against delivery available check those datasources once may be useful.
[Extraction SD Sales: Order Delivery|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/21/ca6d07d5b807459ec8957dad97c179/frameset.htm]
--> This datasouce provides information regarding order qty, delivered qty and status. But no billing related information available.
--> Pull billing information into a separate datasource and merge using sales doc no (with reference doc no in billing). to get billing related info.
--> Multiple orders can be billed together, so distribution may not be correct. check ...
Hope it helps

Link between Delivery and Sales Order Schedule Line
Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement in which i need to display quantity and amount at schedule line level and also the delivery and delivery item for each schedule line.
For example, if there is a sales order O1 and item 10 for which we have 3 schedule lines and 3 deliveries as well say D1, D2 and D3.
Report should be something like this
Sales Order Item Schedule Line Delivery Del Item Confirmed Order Qty
O1 10 1 D1 10 5
O1 10 2 D2 10 5
O1 10 3 D3 10 4
How can i determine that a particular delivery corresponds to which schedule line of that saler order-item?
We have the link between delivery and sales order but is there any way that we can get the link of delivery at schedule line level?
Please help.
Regards,
GauravHi,
I suppose you must check with SD functional consultant and the post should also be in the logistics SD forum and not BI. But I suppose there is know specific link between the schedule line of SO to the Delivery. It is more like a bucket flow for ex.
Sale order Item Schedule line qty
SO1 Item1 Sch1 10
SO2 Item1 Sch2 10
Delivery Item QTy
DO1 IT1 15
DO2 IT1 5
In this case qty 15 is distributed over both SO1 and SO2, and SO2 ITem1 Sch2 has link to both the DOs
So I am not sure if you can establish a one to one link, please check with your SD consultants.

Sale order delivery and billing blocked
Hi sap sd gurus
I have a problem after creating a sale order , the one line item in sale order showing status of delivery blocked and billing blocked , now i am unable to post delivery and billing when i see in schedule line item order qty and confirmed qty .
Now i want to find why this is blocked and remedy for removing this block .
Could anyone suggest me in this issue asap
thanks in advance
KannaDear Kanna,
Go to XD02 at the toppage you will find Extras
In that Extra Topage you will find a field Blocking Data.
Check whether Order block and Delivery Block has been ticked.
If ticked is there remove the tick and try Delivery and Billing.
If you have any concerns revert back the same to me

How to put order in a delivery block ? on basis of shipto and order reason
Hi can any one tell if there is any way duirng the order creation (Va01) we can read the shipto no and order reason code to put the orders on a delivery block ? the idea is to do this only for certain shipto which have a soecial order reason.
we are looking for solution via configuration first and if that is not possible then via some order header level user exit. in case of user exit we can read the special shipto number from a custom table....
if this is not possible to use ship to number then we can use the soldto numbers along with the special order reason code.
so if the order is having a shipto sold =xxxx and order reason code is zzzz then put the order on a delivery block....
once the delivery block needs to be lifted we do not want to hit this logic in the order changed mode( va02)
look forward to hear from the experts any solutions....or suggestions....thanks in advanceRaj,
The issue here is the while creating the order the system needs to validat two things 'sold-to-party and order reason'.
I am still not sure whther this can be achieved through non ABAP way. check for some exits, if available.

Dynamic data flow from sales order to delivery and vice-versa
Hi Experts,
One of our teams working for a client (transportation industry) on ECC 6.0 is facing an issue in relation to copying of partner data. (Ship-to-party address field changes to be precise)
Currently, whenever the partner address data changed in a Sale order, though delivery is already created prior to this change, the change done is dynamically getting reflected in delivery too. Further, if the partner data in the delivery is changed, this also is getting updated on the preceding document i.e. sales order.
We have checked the copy controls under VTLA and didn’t find any specific modifications made in this regard. Our question is:
Is there any configuration available in standard SAP through which the data updates (like header data viz. partner field data etc.) get dynamically updated forward and backwards in a sales flow(i.e. from sales order to delivery and vice-versa)
Your help on this will be highly appreciated.
Regards,
Jaganif the partner data in the delivery is changed, this also is getting updated on the preceding document i.e. sales order.
The standard functionality is if you change the address of a partner function, the same will get reflected in an existing sale order. This being the case, can you reconfirm your statement that in delivery, if you change the partner function, the same will get updated in sale order also?

Difference between Delivery, Sales order and Shipment
Hi
I would like to know difference between sales document, delivery document and shipment.
When is the delivery created? What data will it have?Hi
<b>Sales Documents </b>
Sales-related business transactions are recorded in the system as sales documents. These are grouped into four categories:
Pre-sales documents: inquiries and quotations
Sales orders
Outline agreements, such as contracts and scheduling agreements
Customer problems and complaints, leading to free-of-charge deliveries and credit memo requests
If your particular business processes require it, you can process deliveries and billing documents directly from a sales document. In addition, some sales documents, such as cash sales and rush orders automatically trigger the creation of subsequent delivery and billing documents.
Basic Functions Within Sales Order Processing
During sales order processing, the system carries out basic functions, such as:
Monitoring sales transactions
Checking for availability
Transferring requirements to materials planning (MRP)
Delivery scheduling
Calculating pricing and taxes
Checking credit limits
Creating printed or electronically transmitted documents (confirmations and so on)
<b>Delivery Processing</b>
In its role as central object of the goods issue process, the outbound delivery supports all shipping activities including picking, packing, transportation and goods issue. During the outbound delivery process, shipping-planning information is recorded, status of shipping activities is monitored and data accumulated during shipping processing is documented. When the outbound delivery is created, the shipping activities, such as picking or delivery scheduling, are initiated, and data that is generated during shipping processing is included in the delivery.
Range of Functions
An outbound delivery can be created as follows:
With reference to a sales order
With reference to a stock transport order
With reference to a subcontract order
<b>Shipping </b>
Shipping is an important part of the logistics chain in which guaranteed customer service and distribution planning support play major roles.
In shipping processing, all delivery procedure decisions can be made at the start of the process by
Taking into account general business agreements with your customer
Recording special material requests
Defining shipping conditions in the sales order
The result is an efficient and largely automatic shipping process in which manual changes are only necessary under certain circumstances.
Integration
The Shipping component is integrated under the Logistics Execution component. Shipping is a subsequent activity of the Sales component.
Range of Functions
The shipping module supports the following functions, which include but are not limited to:
Deadline monitoring for reference documents due for shipment (sales orders and purchase orders, for instance)
Creating and processing outbound deliveries
Planning and monitoring of worklists for shipping activities
Monitoring material availability and processing outstanding orders
Monitoring the warehouse's capacity situation
Picking (with optional link to the Warehouse Management system)
Packing deliveries
Information support for transportation planning
Support of foreign trade requirements
Printing and transmitting shipping documents
Processing goods issue
Controlling using overviews of
o Deliveries currently in process
o Activities that still are to be carried out
o Possible bottlenecks -
