Merge SAP GTS Library ("Help") with "ERP Library"

Hi all
I downloaded the sap global trade service library (means the sap-help).
Because my gts system is on the same system like my ERP (on a different client) I need to merge the sap-help library of the erp system with the sap help library of the gts.
Now I copied all .chm files from the gts library directory to the ".chm-folder" of my erp system. Now I have to update the "index"  (00000001.chm) so that the GTS-part of the documentation is listed in the first page.
Does anyone has an idea how that could work?
Thanks and regards
Marco

Thank for answers, I found the sap cryto. lib.  download
in the other hand i see
NOTE: With SAP NetWeaver AS 7.0 something really important changed! The cryptographic toolkit is now part of the SAP NetWeaver AS Java and does not have to be installed afterwards. In earlier versions the cryptographic toolkit had to be downloaded on the SAP Service Marketplace due to some export and import control regulations. Area where the cryptographic software download can be found. Here is the path: http://service.sap.com/swdc Download ->SAP Cryptographic Software
WIth that i have now other question.
a. How can i check if I have or i donu00B4t have SAP crytographic in my system( I guess that i donu00B4t have because in D:\usr\sap\QN2\SYS\exe\nuc\NTAMD64 i dont find any executables for sap cryptographi.) but iu00B4m not sure..

  • I'm moving to college soon, and would appreciate some help with my library.

I am moving to college in just over a week and a half and was needing some help with my iTunes library. Currently, at home, I use iTunes as my main source of music entertainment. I purchase music through the iTues Store and upload older music from CDs onto the library as well. I have made several smart playlists based off of information such as play counts and last played dates. Unfortunately, this is all on a desktop that I will be unable to bring with me to school. So I have recently purchased a laptop that I will be taking with me to school. I have already downloaded iTunes and have activated the laptop to my Apple ID. The desktop currently runs on Windows 7, while the laptop runs on Windows 8. Both are up-to-date with iTunes.
With all of that background information, here comes my question. Is there a way to have the same library on both PCs? I don't just mean the same songs, but rather have the same play counts, last played dates, playlists, etc. on both computers. Is this something that can be accomplished through the cloud or iTunes Match?

Copy the ENTIRE /Music/iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer.
Sync only with the new computer going forward.
Nothing will be updated on the old computer, but if you are not going to be at home using the desktop is that really relevant?

  • Moving a merged library created with iPhoto Library Manager

I merged two iPhoto libraries with iPhoto Library Manager 3.5.5 on an external hard disk using an iMac. I have tried to move the new merged library to the internal disk on my laptop, as I wish to travel taking all my photos (about 28,500). However, every time I try to move or copy the merged library it stops after copying about 123 MB (of about 62GB) and I get the following message:
"You can’t copy “Merged Library” because it has the same name as another item on the destination volume, and that volume doesn’t distinguish between upper- and lowercase letters in filenames."
The "same name" reference is to the file it makes every time before copying, which I erase before trying again. What am I doing wrong? How can I transfer this new merged library to my laptop?
    Thank you.

Ok, so how do I correct for this. I ran Time Machine to back up my computer, sent it in to be repaired, and now I want to Restore my stuff. I get that error, but the only thing I've done to the drive is reformatted using Snow Leopard, and didn't see such choices go by. I just want my stuff restored. Can someone explain the difference between "case-sensitive/journaled" and "journaled", and how to change back. Where are these choices?

  • Help with iTunes library

    Hi there,
I've been having some problems with my iTunes library and I really need help.
It all started when I wanted to restore my iphone because it being slow!! It then said that there wasn't enough space on the hard drive. So in my infinite cleverness (that I don't have!!) I'm not really sure what I did. But I accidentally deleted all my music files and then from the recycle bin I've got them back but they aren't in album folders anymore it's just one long list of songs.
My iTunes library is empty of all things so if i add these files to iTunes will it arrange them into it (not in iTunes program) but in the windows folder? Does iTunes copy the original music file to the 'iTunes media' file?
If so what's the best settings for iTunes?
Store the original music files on c: or external HD and then do i need to choose the organize and copy setting on iTunes? and if so, where too?
So the c: drive is full and the d: has got some stuff but not sure what it is. But it has 90 odd gb of free space!!
The laptop is 4 years old so it's full of crap. Basically!!
    Please help.

Using iTunes, you cannot sync from the iPod to your computer. If you want the songs on both computers, you will have to manually copy all your songs to the other computer, add them to that iTunes library, then sync.
Alternatively, you can manually manage the iPod, which will let you play the songs on the computer without the songs (only when the iPod is connected), but you will not be able to copy them into your iTunes music library using iTunes alone.

  • Help with Shared Library Errors?

I am getting a Shared Library Error (The application "APP NAME HERE" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "1<APP NAME HERE><CarbonLib><CFMPriv_PrintCore>") whenever I try to open a non-Mac application (Adobe or Microsoft, basically). And when I try to print, I cannot adjust anything in the Page Setup, else the application crashes.
Problems began right after a Software Update: to 10.4.8 (and iTunes to 7.0.1).
Any thoughts? I have seen references here and elsewhere to various shared library error issues, with solutions that have worked for some people sometimes, ranging from dowloading the newest version of Quicktime to archiving everything and reinstalling the system software.

I saw you had posted in the other topic and were
advised to start a new one. But did you try any of
    the other approaches?
Yes. I've been trying simpler things first, such as removing certain caches from my Library.
    It helps to be
more specific about the particular applications.
Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and In Design 2.0.2. Microsoft Word 11.0 and Excel 11.0 are the ones that give me the shared library error. At the same time (since the upgrade to OS 10.4.8 and iTunes 7.0.1), I have been having trouble with my printer, a Canon i850 (printer software quits with each printing, although the printer does print the item; and trying to adjust Page Setup causes whatever application I'm in to crash).
    Did you look at Yo
u receive a "Shared library" error message when you
start Office for Mac programs for example?
Not until you suggested it. Thanks. It has some of the same suggestions, though — no new ones. I've been trying to avoid the archive/install option, but I guess I'm headed that way.
You say you have iTunes 7.0.1, what version of
    Quicktime do you have?
    QuickTime Player 7.1.3.
Unfortunately there doesn't (as yet) seem to be a
single fix for all these errors. We'll just have to
    keep trying!
    That's the sense I'm getting.
Thank you for your attemps to help.

  • Help with my library and files

I am a little confused about the library and organization of my files. I use Aperture 3.0 and am constantly running out of disk space when I try to import my files. I feel like there are unnecessary duplicates being made of the pictures and video, but I can't be sure. I now have an external HD to store the pictures on, but need a little help figuring out what is the best way to go about doing this without losing any of my data and staying organized.
I would love to store the images and videos on the external drive, and store a smaller copy for viewing on the laptop itself without taking up a bunch of room. Is this possible to view while not connected to the external drive, and still make edits? Or only make edits to the files while connected?
Right now, I simply plug in my camera and import into the Pictures folder on the laptop HD. Is it possible that they're being imported into the iPhoto library (even though I don't use iPhoto anymore) and into Aperture?
Aperture library file (located in Pictures folder): 27gigs
iPhoto library file (also located in Pictures folder): 22.8 gigs
Pictures folder (including two above files): 110.7 gigs
    Thanks for your help!!

In Aperture, do you have a Managed or Referenced Library?
Is it possible that they're being imported into the iPhoto library
Not unless you have set up some form of Folder Actions - and you would know if you have. But a simple test: do your import actions as normal and then open iPhoto. Are the newest additions there?

    This is easy.

No need for a smaller copy. You can still view in Aperture without the disk connected.

  • Need help with Aperture library duplicating all 'Albums' under 'Projects' library

Fairly new to Aperture but I've tried to search many times for solutions to this issue.
Scenario:  In the Library, I have 3 albums under the 'Albums' view at the bottom that I created.  They were never associated with a project so they were always kept down here.  This I believe is normal.  What is not normal is that this morning the same 3 albums started showing up in an Albums folder under one of my projects in the  'Project' view above it.  At first when I clicked on the project it showed the entire library (+20k photos) despite saying only 14 images were in this folder.  I fixed this by moving the 14 photos into a different project with a different name.  But the Albums folder remains.  It is a direct mirror of the albums below (same name, same photos), and when I delete an album from the 'Projects' view it deletes the same album below.  Same thing if I remove a picture from the album above, it does it below.  I have other albums under specific projects that do not show up under 'Albums' view in the Library.  Again I belive this is correct.
Making this more frustrating is that I can't just simply move or delete the duplicate Albums above and it is under a 'Project' that doesn't make any sense (e.g., under a Project named 'Travel' but all albums are related to 'Birthday Parties').  I tried creating new albums and then deleting the old ones, but then it actually removes the 'Album' section of my library and I don't know how to get it back as I'd still like to keep that functionality.
I have also repaired and rebuilt the database twice with no improvement.  One other point is that I believe this is officially an iPhoto library, but this version of Aperture and iPhoto supposedly allows for sharing without any issues.  I tried repairing via iPhoto as well, but no luck there.
Can anyone help or suggest solutions?  Thanks in advance.

The sections in the Library Inspector have hidden controls to Hided or Show them. The controls will appear, if you hover the mouse close to the right border of the Inspector panel. There you can toggle the visibility of the different sections on and off.
The whole Subsection (ALBUM in ALL CAPS) is gone, no remant left (so no Hide/Unhide button).  I can hide the PROJECTS, SHARED, RECENT, ETC, but ALBUMS is again gone.
Just to be better able to understand what is happening in your library:
At first when I clicked on the project it showed the entire library (+20k photos) despite saying only 14 images were in this folder.
This looks to me, like your albums were "Smart Albums" and not regular albums.   Regular albums don't change the contents, when you open them for browsing. Or reflect changes in other library items.
What do the icons of your "albums" look like? Is there a "gears" icon on it? Then your album is a smart album, and I'd try to update the smart settings for the album/
Nope.  No gears and I've never used a Smart Album.  They were all part of my old iPhoto library but that import was done 2-3 months ago and this issue just started today.  Right now the Album is just a folder under PROJECTS, with each individual Album beneath having icons that look like two photos stacked (i.e., normal albums).  Also, when I click on the main Album's folder it reads 'TopLevelAlbums' as the header on the top of the main section.  When I click on any other project, folder, or individual album it just reads the same name as the header....this was the first clue to me that something was wrong...besides the ALBUM folder having +20k pictures in it.
Aperture 3.5.1 .  I'm going to try creating the new library and see if it fixes it.  Thanks for the help.

  • Disorganized library - help with how to clean up?

    Hi guys,
My library is an absolute mess. I have up to five duplicates of a given file, each of which are somehow at different sizes, and all my 50GB of files are spread out over somewhere between 4-6 huge and horrendously disorganized primary folders. Its mostly the result of 3 years of general disorganization, and more so somehow from importing and exporting libraries back and forth between LR and Aperture when I had no idea what I was doing with either program. Then I cant make stacks or get much done at all because all these images are in totally different folders!
But, I have a free external hard drive that I can export and import back and forth to in order to get this mess under control. The question is, how should I do it? How do I export my entire library correctly?
I dont yet know the difference between catalogs, libraries, etc. It seems as though I should export my library to the other hard drive as copied files, erase the original ones, and then re-import the copied files from the hard drive, while making sure it doesnt import thumbnails, suspected duplicates, etc. but Im not confident enough with the program to do so yet!
If anyone could guide me a bit, Id very much appreciate.
    Thanks!
    Alec

    Alec-
You're not alone! Many of us have had to, or are in the middle of, organizing ourselves! It's a DAM headache! DAM, by the way, referring to Digital Asset Management, a term you might want to research.
I would start by backing up and asking yourself how do you want your system to look in the long term: how you want your library structured, and, importantly, how you want your library backed up. If you can come up with a good plan, there's nothing wrong with starting "from scratch", creating a new structure and moving your files into that new structure. While you're at it, create a backup strategy using at the minimum an external hard drive and DVD's so that as you populate your system you also protect your files from a system crash. Hard drives and DVD burners are cheap these days, compared to losing ~50GB of images!
People take different approaches to structuring their file systems and their libraries: there is not a "best" way. The important thing to me is to set up my folders in a way that I can eliminate guess work as much as possible. But as I do this I also make plenty use of Lightroom's collections and keywords. My pictures get cross-referenced in this way so that I can find them from several directions.
With Lightroom, you can export and re-import, or you can move files and folders from one location or disk to another. With your free hard drive, once you settle on a long-term file structure, you need a way to "point" LR to your new drive: try right-clicking on an existing folder and choosing Show in Explorer, then cutting and pasting it into the new drive and file system. When you close the explorer the folder in LR should show up in red as missing; you then right-click the folder and choose the option to locate the missing folder, then navigate to your new location.
Lightroom doesn't have a way of managing duplicates. If you try to import a duplicate it by default declines, although you can tell it to show them in the library anyway. If you have duplicates on your system you have to come up with your own method of finding them and dealing with them. If you have edited versions of a file, though, Lightroom can manage them.
    Hope some of this helps,
    Tony

  • Help with Photo Library (first steps on mac)

    Hi Everyone
First of all let me tell you i'm giving my very first steps con Mac after years on Windows. Although everything is way better than expected, i'm having troubles managing photos between my iPhone 5S, iCloud and my brand new MacBook Air.
For a few months I've been syncing my iPhone photos with iCloud keeping full versions on the cloud optimising iPhone storage. Now i'm using iPhoto on my Mac but i find no way of view my whole iCloud library. Just a few photos (the last ones I took). When i log on to icloud.com i see all the pictures.
    Please, somebody help me!!!
On the other hand, i'd like to know how to backup the photo on an external HD. Is there an automatic way of doing this?
Thanks in advance for all the help!

Connect your iPhone to your Mac with it's USB cable and launch iPhoto.  There you can import all of the photos on your phone that are not already in your iPhoto Library.
However, the iCloud Photos Library is not visible on the MBA.  It won't be until the new Photos app for the Mac is released sometime next spring.
Do you have MyPhotoStream enabled on your Mac and on the iPhone?
On your iPhone enable these settings:
On your Mac in iPhoto set the iCloud preferences to this:
Also in your System/iCloud preference pane on your Mac make  sure you're signed in to your iCloud account, you've checked the Photo Stream checkbox and and under the Options button these are checked:

  • Help with iTunes library on external hard drive

    Hi!
I have a new computer and I don't want to put anything in it but the programs I need. When it comes to movies, music, etc. I have an external hard drive.
Now, I want my iTunes to read the music from that hard drive, and, when I download something (more music, podcasts, apps, etc.) I'd like them to go straight to the folder "iTunes" that I created in that hard drive.
I had a look at a few pages and people where only talking about creating back-ups, but I don't need that, because I have a second HD that I'll use for that.
Someone told me to do this:
Go to the File Menu, then choose Add Folder to Library. Then navigate to your external drive and folder where your music is to add it. Then all you have to do is download your new stuff to that folder.
I did that and the podcasts I had in the external HD showed up there, but when I downloaded a new one, it downloaded onto my computer. What I want to do is have my iTunes library on an external HD and when I download from iTunes I want it to go straight to that external HD so I don't clog up my computer.
    I have iTunes 10.6. something =)
    Thank youuuuu very much!!!! =)

As long as you don't have an existing library that is synced with a device or holds oodles of carefully crafted playlists, ratings etc. then...
Hold down shift as you start iTunes. You should get an option to choose or create a library. Click create, browse to root of the external drive and click save so that your library is say X:\iTunes where X: is the letter of your external drive. All new content downloaded to the library will stay on the external drive.

  • Please help with itunes library

Recently my PC died on me. I have all of my itunes library on an external drive and fortuntately made a copy of the itunes folder under C;\ users\ music, etc. In the past after a major hardware upgrade (ie hard drive) I just replace the  C;\ users\ music, etc. with the copy of the iTunes folder and would change the  iTunes media folder location to the external drive (G:\iTunes Media\iTunes Media folder)  which worked in the past. I thought it had worked but after going through my playlists none of the songs worked! What have I done wrong? I have over 77,000 songs that I have made playlists and genius playlists. The system I had was windows 7 and now using my sons unused pc with Vista.
Please assist me if you can.
    Thanks

This is very confussing. As I said, I thought it had worked when I tested just the top three songs in my music library. Wanted to clarify that why I went to the playlists it does not play as well as beyond the few three songs I tested. The original Drive letter was T;\ but when I connected it to my sons pc it was G:\ for some reason. I changed it to T:\ and when I changed the media location to reflect the change it asked me ""Would you like iTunes to move and rename the files in your new iTunes Music folder to match the "Keep iTunes Music folder organized" . I always had keep my itunes organized but the fact that it asked again I wasnt sure what to answer (Yes or No). in anycase, my music playlists did work but found a few that do not or the songs are missing under the playlists. Whats going on here?

  • Need help with itunes library/music. please see inside

So there's a long story to this one but to make it as short as possible:
At one point I wasn't able to open iTunes on my desktop (something about a .itl file or whatever) so I made a new desktop to be used specifically for iTunes. I don't remember how I copied all the songs to that desktop (I have a program called TuneTransfer but for whatever reason it won't work now).
My problem is that now, for whatever reason, iTunes started working on my original desktop and I would like to get rid of the other one. What is the easiet way to transfer all of my songs from one desktop to the other?

I've been an iTunes user for a long time now and have finally decided to do some proper file management
Don't.  Once the files are added to the iTunes library, any direct touching the files withing Windows will only mess things up.
Can someone explain to me the difference between the various fields when sorting multiple files in an album, under "Info" or "Sorting".
Do the fields under the tab "Sorting" override those in "Info" or is it the opposite?
The former.  They override it for purposes of sorting within the iTunes application.  They do not affect the file structure.

  • Help with iTunes Library and External Music Management

Okay, this nightmare has been getting worse and worse over the past few weeks so let's break it down so people can understand what I'm trying to do.
    1) I have music on both my internal laptop drive and external drives.
    2) I want to have two libraries, one for the internal drive featuring all the music on my internal drive (and possibly some stuff on the external since that's how it currently is), and the other which is ALL my music from all my drives.
    3) I want all new podcasts/itunes store content to save to my external drive.
    4) I want the iTunes music folder to reflect which library I'm running (that is to say, if I am in my internal library, the iTunes music folder would be on the internal drive so if anything is copied to "itunes music library" it would copy to my internal, if on the external drive the itunes folder would be on the external drive and anything copied would end up there)
    5) I want iTunes to keep each library organized.
    6) for my External library I would LOVE to keep all my playlists, and iTunes store purchases in the library (something that didn't happen when I created a new library)
    IS THIS POSSIBLE!?!
Basically here's what i did in the past. created a new library on the external and added all my music on the external to it. this caused it to organize everything fairly nicely. I then copied imported the XML data from my old internal library so I would get my playlists and iTunes store stuff to show up, along with anything on the internal drive. this cause MAJOR duplication issues (i have 3 copies of songs now in my external drive which Im going to have to sort through). I tried multiple libraries but everytime I switch back and forth my iTunes music folder keeps changing. (ie. the folder location will carry over to any library - not stick to just the one) This is a HUGE pain in the ###.
Basically, if I'm on the road I want to be able to open iTunes, it automatically launch my internal library which has everything in my internal drive, know that the music folder is "my username/music", and then when I come back home and able to plug into my external drive be able to launch that external library and it know that my music folder should now be "externaldrive/music".
i cannot seem to get iTunes to save this folder preference PER library. is this even possible!?! I just want this stupid thing to work!
