Merge two PDF files into one

I have two separate PDF slideshows created with Photoshop Elements with 1-100 and 101-200 images that I would like to combine into one slideshow with 1-200 images. How can I do this? The actual number of images in each slideshow is quite large, so that Elements cannot create the combined one, only the two separate slideshows.

You can try this service from Adobe: http://createpdf.adobe.com/
Or you can download the free 30-day trial version of Acrobat.

Does anyone know how to merge two PDF files into one with Adobe Reader. Is it even possible?
    Thanks

If you've got a Mac and OSX you can do this in Preview.  Make sure you can see the sidebar with the first PDF opened, and then drag the second PDF to the bottom of the last page in the sidebar.  Also you can reduce the size of your saved file by selecting (or making) a Quartz filter to 'reduce file size'

I want to merge two PDF files into one to make things easier when I take the file(s) to a professional printer.
Can I do this in Preview?
    Thanks.

    You can't do in Preview.
You can combine individual PDFs into one PDF using one of these freeware utilities.

How do I merge 2 pdf files into one file?

I use PrimoPDF (free download) to create pdf files. To merge two docs/pdfs/etc., print the first to a new pdf using Primo. Close it, then print the second and save it to the same new pdf. Primo gives you the option to 'append' or 'overwrite' the original file. By using 'append', you are just adding it to the back of the existing file. You can do this repeatedly to resort or combine existing pages into a new pdf.
Also, I'm using Adobe Reader X.

  • Error Message When Merging Multiple PDF Files into One PDF File

    Good Morning,
I have a problem with Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. I am trying to merge/combine multiple PDF files into one PDF file, but I keep receiving this error message:
Does anyone have a fix for this? Thank you!

    To fix:
Provide a unique name for each form field. This includes the individual PDFs fields. As you intend to combine/merge no field name in each of the individual PDFs can be the same.
    Be well...

  • Batch merging two TIFF files into one

I have a lot of portrait B5-size TIFF files that were scanned from paper documents and I plan to scan more.
I want to merge every two of these files into landscape B4-size TIFF files.
I want to do this by a batch job.
    What is the best way?
Are there any command-line tools to do this job?
I do not have Adobe package software. Instead I installed MacGimp.
Although I have some experience with shellscript and Applescript,
    I'm new to Script-Fu.
I made a GUI script for the application Preview that reads a multi-page TIFF file and saves as a PDF file with 2-UP layout. This method has two flaws:
    (1) Preview aborts for large files.
    (2) Resulting PDF file is more than five times as large as original TIFF file.
Namely, 40-page, g4-compressed, 400KB TIFF file results in 2.5 MB PDF file.
Maybe, the Preview does not make inheritance of TIFF compression.
So I decided to make multi-page TIFF files of 2-UP layout.
    Thank you for reading.
    iMac G4   Mac OS X (10.3.9)

    Self-solved.
    convert file1.tif file2.tif +append result.tif
The command-line tool `convert' can be installed by Fink
    as a part of ImageMagick.

  • Adobe Acrobat XI for mac, how to reverse pages in a pdf file and how to collate two pdf files into one

I scanned some large documents, which were two sided. Because they were printed on glossy paper, I could not scan the pages double sided. So I made two files, one file containing all the even pages and one file containing all the odd pages. Now I have two problems: 1. the pages in the even pages file are in the reversed order, so I need to reverse the order of all the pages in this file. Then I need to combine these two files (collate) so that all the odd and even pages are combined into one single file and all the pages are in the correct order.
In older acrobat pro programs (windows) I found a javascript file that could fix all this. However now I have Acrobat XI and I have a macbook pro, so now I'm completely lost. Can anyone help me with this problem?

If you have a script that does it then you should use it... Open the console and run this command:
    app.getPath("app", "javascript");
It will print out the location you need to use for the .js file you have. Then restart Acrobat and you should be good to go.

Please find the image below to achieve this. Please note, I have used local variables to assign input xmls and repeat through it. Repeater_0 for Headers and Repeater_1 for body.
Kindly ignore Doc_0 here, it's for another purpose. Document_1 is what we are focussing on.
Please note, you would not be able to see columns as those are dynamically created. Still you can map it as shown above.
    Hope this helps.

  • Merging two .txt files into one file?

Hi, every one! I'm trying to merge together two (rather large) text documents with Java, but I haven't been able to find any tutorials or bits of code to point me in the right direction. Would anyone be able to point towards the proper code?
Assume the first doc looks like this:
    G1
    G2
    G3
And the second looks like this:
    3
    4
    5
I'd like the combined files to look something like this:
    G13
    G24
    G35
    Thank you for your time.

    This may help you,
you have to create three objects for two FileReader and one FileWriter.
Read the contents of the files line by line and merge them then write it using FileWriter.

  • How to merge two storage drives into one partition-help

THis is on an iPad-Please excuse for any typos
I Am working on a project of restoring a macbook pro from old parts that I found. It works!!! But the HDD that i salvadged is ancient and gets about .15 MBPS. Not good. Its an apple certified and apple branded toshiba HDD-500G at 5400RPM. Yeah. *****
I am considering buying a new hard drive as a 480GB SSD, and using OWC's Data doubler, adding a second HDD, for all the photos and vids i will be collecting through my work in video and photo. I am considering getting an SSHD (SSD+HDD in an SSD form factor) and using this as the second drive. its not much more expensive (like 10$ more) and itgetsme semi-SSD like performance on a mass scale of storage.
HOw can I combine these two drives into ONE partition? 480GB will take awhile to fill up, but this is a future proof wall to use.
I Will eventually invest in an external storage option (2-3 HDDS in one caddy for backups and storing 1080p video all under one roof. depends if the board im using actually has thunderbolt or usb that is fast enough-because of the crappy hdd i cant get it to boot into an OS or go through usb recovery without it freezing. I ahve tried re-applying thermal paste, still doesnt help)
HOw can i easily partition these two drives into one?
also, my friend needs a new HDD because bootup times in his macbook pro are at like 2 mins+ and hes running Core 2 Duo, with 8 G ram and 10.9 (Mav) should i recommend an SSHD or an ssd. (He doesnt want an HDD, hes had bad 'voodoo' with em'. Thanks!
