Merging 2 i cloud Accounts

I have a I cloud account and so does my husband. Between us both we have Mac Book Pro, I Pad and two I phones. We want all devices to share/talk with one another for pictuers, claenders ect.
Question
Can we merge the 2 i cloud account?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can't merge accounts. All you can do its manually move any data you want to save, from one account to the other, then stop using that account and both use the other.

This is due to the different changes Adobe has gone through and unfortunately I used different emails at certain times.

Under one Adobe ID you can have one CC only,if by accident you have purchased two CC under one account, it needs to be cancelled & refunded, please contact Adobe Support at

  • Merging several seperate creative cloud accounts to One Team account?

    Hi there,
I run a media company, and until now our staff is working with creative cloud accounts that are specified to each employee.
To save some money I want to start up a Team membership. But off course I dont want to continue paying for single accounts our staff use for the moment.
Is there a way to merge the single creative cloud accounts into one Team account?
    All the best,
    Thomas,

    Hi Thomas,
Once you will purchase Creative Cloud Teams for the employees then you can cancel the Creative Cloud membership for individual by contacting Adobe Customer Support and ask them to cancel the individual memberships.

  • Merging Multiple Creative Cloud Accounts

If I purchase multiple creative cloud accounts using multiple IDs, will I be able to merge them or transfer them to a Team account or volume licensing account?
Really excited about CS6, dont want to wait till the Fall...

The current policy for Adobe IDs is
I want to merge/delete my account
You cannot merge or delete an account, including an Adobe Volume Licensing (AVL) account, on your own. Contact us to submit your request. Be prepared with your Adobe ID, or IDs if you have multiple accounts.
I am not sure if that is changing for this release. I am guessing not.

  • HT204053 I had to create an Apple ID to open a cloud account. For some time prior to this, I had an account for my iPod. Today I was unable to update apps using the old password. My Apple ID will not do it either. ???

I had to create an Apple ID to open a cloud account some time ago. For some time prior to this, I had an account for my iPod. Today I did a sync and was notified of two app updates, but was unable to use my old password and was notified to use my Apple ID. However, when I log in with my Apple ID, the store tells me that I do not own the apps.
How can I get this system to update my iPod apps.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Certainly not happy with this situation, as Apple expects me to pay for help on this.

    1. Don't confuse "Apple ID" with iTunes Account ID.  You can have many Apple IDs but only one iTunes account active at a time.
    2. If you "changed" your iTunes account ID, you actually have 2 accounts - one under the old name plus the new name.
    3. You can't merge the accounts - they remain separate.  Apps purcahsed under the old account name will update ONLY WHEN THE PHONE IS SIGNED IN TO THE OLD ACCOUNT NAME  and visa versa.
    4. Likewise, you can sync only the apps, music, media purchased under the account the phone AND iTunes are signed in to.

  • How do I delete my i-cloud account without deleting Pages documents?

    Hi!
I am currently in panic mode.  In a way, my problem is four or five-fold.  My I-pad is only charging now and then.  So it has suddenly become urgent for me to back-up all my stuff.  I don't sync with another computer.  I only have the i-pad. So I turned to i-cloud and began setting up my account.  Everything sets up just fine except Pages.  Pages merely remains in loading mode.  It won't go any further than a hundred and thirty-two megabytes.  . It just hangs there.  My wireless signal is a strong 3G.  So that is not the problem. The big problem right now is that I can't stop the process. Turning off the i-pad does nothing for it.  After I I restart it again it starts automatically loading.   I can't delete the i-cloud account now without losing the documents!  A pop-up comes up saying so.  Why would Apple do that?!  Someone should be able to back out of the process without losing all his or her documents.  I can turn everything else off just fine:  Calendar, Notes, Photo-streaming, etc.  Not Pages.
But there is an additional complication.  The i-cloud account appears to be attempting to download document files from my old Pages app!  I had forgotten my passcode a while back, so the apple store somehow reconfigured my i-pad.  I lost all that other data some of which included Pages.    I was very angry.  They told me they could just set me up with a new passcode but that it was contrary to policy because someone there might abuse my privacy!  It was very frustrating.  They could have just let me sit there and watch them do it if they had been so worried about their own possible dishonesty!  Anyway, at the bottom of the loading screen there reads 3.8 gigabytes which is significantly more than I have in my current Pages file and  would throw me above the 5.0 gigabyte threshold.  That is another reason why I wanted to stop the process so that I could do it next month and pay for the extra storage.  I don't know if the firewall between my 'old i-pad-within- an-i-pad'  is causing the problem or something else.  I think though it may be trying to merge with the old data somehow but is unable to do so.
So, the big question is how do I stop this process without losing all my documents?  I don't want to lose everything again.

    Hi, Demo!
thanks for the reply.  I must say though that forgetting a password is nothing like following step-by-step instructions just as I am told and then having  two or three years of documents threatened.  i mean Apple Smapple.  They get things wrong all the time.  It is bad policy to lock out three years of data for a forgotten password  and, in fact, there is something wrong with the instruction system on creating an I-Cloud account when it comes to Pages.  So I blame Apple for both.
Here is what happened.  I was given clear instructions to back out of I-Cloud for everything else on my I-pad (Photos etc.) but Not for Pages.   When I wanted to halt the pricess, the pop-up said very clearly that my files would be deleted from my Pad.   So,  I just held my breath and pushed the back-out for Pages anyway even though it said it would  delete all my files.  Suddenly, another pop-up surfaced allowing me to back out just like with the others.  My data was safe!  And I was returned to the original I-Cloud account page.  I ran over to Pages and, voila, it was all there. nothing gone.  But moments later I got another pop-up saying that Pages had been deleted from my I-Pad but was successfully transferred to I-Cloud.   Pages was not deleted from my Pad, nor was anything else!   The scare was not my fault.  The pop-ups were apparently backwards.
As a side-note.  There is nothing wrong with forgetting things.  That happens.  Our brains are made to do that sometimes.   Businesses are supposed to think ahead on that,  not dumbledy-pumbledy people like me.  Still partly  my bad.  This other thing was nothing like that.  I was merely setting up an I-Cloud account  In effect, 'I_Cloud'  was threatening to take my stuff for merely signing on and then deciding not to create an account.  Their bad completely.
Come on.  Even computer illiterates need to keep an eye on Apple now.  Have you read how Carlyle, the big sinister private equity outlet, is now making Apple buy stuff it wants it to at two hundred percent mark-up?  Carlyle bought some sleek something at five hundred million.  Apple buys it six months later for two billion.  Clearly, someone else is in charge now at Apple.  My guess is that there will be less creativity  but more reflexive self-defensiveness.  That began way back with Steve Jobs when he wouldn't let the on-off toggle remain for stabilising the I-pad screen even when there was overwhelming customer desire to keep it.

  • How can I merge my adobe account with my wife's account.

How can I merge my adobe account with my wife's account. I had been using lightroom since 2011 up to version 4. I wanted to upgrade to version 5 and decided to just go with the Photographers package and I signed up for that. Now I have a conflict since we already have my wife's Creative suite 6 master collection on our PC and when I went to install LR and PS it made me install the Creative Cloud installer. It automatically link to my wife's account so it wont allow me to install LR since that isnt part of the Master Collection. Can I merge these 2 accounts in some way or can I log out of the Creative Clound under her name and log in under mine? I 'm guess I can't just log back and forth and I didn't want to try and mess it up even more.
    Thanks,
    Joe

If that is even possible, it will have to be Adobe making that change... Contact Customer Care

  • Seperate i cloud accounts

How do my daughter and I have the same I tunes account and seperate I cloud accounts so that our contacts dont merge with each others

You need to delete the contacts from your iCloud account at the main source. Log in with your iCloud account with a browser on your computer to delete her contacts from your iCloud account online address book, or if you are also syncing your iCloud account contacts with a supported address book app on your computer, delete her contacts from there, which will delete the contacts from your iCloud online address book and in turn delete the contacts from your iPhone.
You can delete her photos from your iCloud PhotoStream direct on your iPhone, or if you are also accessing your iCloud PhotoStream on your computer, you can delete the photos from there.

  • How to sync 2 I cloud accounts

  • Merge 2 iTunes accounts

HI, I started a new account sometime ago rather than just changing the email of my existing account. Some of my app purchases were made through my old account so now I have to log in and out of both accounts to get updates. Is it possible to merge the 2 accounts?
    Thanks.

Me too - I cannot believe that this is not catered for - Apple may be a great computer but their arrogance stinks! Just like IBM used to be I love my Ipad but I want to access memory sticks, flash movies etc etc
Why do I have to swap accounts to get all my apps, will it be 3 accounts when cloud arrives and why no encryption for the device that most needs it?
Come on Apple start listening arseholes and answer some of your users concerns about security etc

  • One I cloud account multiple devices?

I want to use the same I cloud account for my I phone, my daughters I pod touch, her I pad air, my sons I pad 2, & my husbands I phone. Can I do this without all of my text messages , contacted, & calendar events being shared on each device? I have tried using the same account for my phone & her I pad but things just seem to be getting sent back & forth on them.

No, not with a single Apple ID for all devices. You are all then sharing the same iTunes Library and iCloud is syncing everyone to each other. If you want everyone to be separate, then they must all have their own Apple IDs and separate accounts on the computer.
Using More than One iDevice on the Same Computer
This applies mainly to couples who are adding another device and do not want their email, messages, etc. being duplicated on both devices. To begin read: How to use multiple iPhone, iPad, or iPod devices with one computer. You need to establish a separate Apple ID and password for whomever will use the new iDevice. See Apple - My Apple ID and Frequently asked questions about Apple ID. The easiest way is to do this on the computer using iTunes: iTunes- How to set up an Apple ID within iTunes.
On the computer create a new user account for the person with the new iDevice. This will be the user account that person will always use. He/She will no longer use the other user account. This way that person will have a separate iTunes Library
Start by transferring the new device(s) to a new account along with all your data.  Save any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless they are already in the camera roll) by opening your Photos app, tap on Albums icon at the bottom. Now, tap on My Photo Stream album; tap Select; tap on the photos you want to select;, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow) in the lower left corner; then tap Save to Camera Roll.
If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep then you need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself. Later you can copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account.
Tap on Settings > iCloud > Delete Account (only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; the person keeping the current account will not be affected,) provide the password to turn off Find My Phone and choose Keep on My iDevice when prompted.  Sign in with a different Apple ID to create your new account. Choose Merge to upload your data.
Once you are on separate accounts, you can each go to icloud.com and delete the other person's data from your account.
Note: The essence of the above was created by user, randers4. I
have made substantial changes to improve readability and syntax.

  • How do I change my daughters Iphone to my have her own I cloud account but still link it to my original family account

My daughter got an iphone and it was orginally set up on my personal icloud id and now I would like her to have her own ID but still link it to my cloud account for calenders and reminders but so that her contacts and things like that are her own.  How do I change this over?  Do I need a new apple/mac ID for her first and then link it to the icloud account or a specific ICloud account specifically.
    Thank you

She can do this by doing the following:
Save any photo steam photos she wants to keep on her device by opening her my photo stream album, tapping Edit, tap all the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll.
Go to Settings>iCloud and tap Delete Account, choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted.  (This will not delete the account from iCloud.  Other devices still syncing with the account will not be effected by this.)
In Settings>iCloud, sign back in with a different Apple ID (if she doesn't have one, click Get Free Apple ID at the bottom) to create a new, separate, iCloud account.
Turn on iCloud data syncing with the new account, and when prompted, choose Merge to upload her data to the new account.  When she turns Mail to On she will be given a new, separate, iCloud email account.
Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud, sign into the origingal iCloud account, then turn on Calendars and Reminders in this secondary iCloud account on her phone.  This will allow her to continue to sync calendars and reminders with the original shared iCloud account, while syncing her contacts and other data with her own separate iCloud account.

  • Can you have different I cloud accounts on different devices. Like 4 phones with different numbers while keeping them all on the same I tunes account?

Can you have different I cloud accounts on different devices. Like 4 phones with different numbers while keeping them all on the same I tunes account? My family shares one I tunes account but it would be nice to be able to have a different I cloud for family member. Is there a way to do this. Because the I cloud part on the setting on the phone and I pad are greyed out on the phones so you can't change the user.

If they are greyed out then usually this means that the account is not validated on that device.  The Delete Account button at the bottom should still work and allow you to remove the current account form the iCloud Section of Settings.
To answer your question, yes.  There are four places you can use an Apple ID on an iOS device:
    Settings > iCloud
    Settings > Messages
    Settings > FaceTime
Settings > iTunes & App Stores
The iTunes & App Stores is the only one you want to use a shared (family) Apple ID account.  The other three you will want a unique Apple ID for that person to prevent info merging or messages getting shared, etc.
