Merging advance track from pre-order with album

I pre-ordered Memory Almost Full by P. McCartney and got the album's second track in advance. The full album was released today. I downloaded the album and merged the advance track (#2 on the full album)
I changed the track info to track 2 along with the album title and etc. and quadruple-checked that all info in all fields is correct.
Yet, the track will not appear between tracks 1 & 3 in I-Tunes. It appears after the last track. I have tried everything with no luck. The only way to get the tracks in the correct order is to create a playlist, but I shouldn't have to do this. The phone techs are clueless. Any ideas.

It's strange - i have also experienced this, but i simply deleted the whole album from iTunes, then re-imported it manually. It's as though the date added is being sorted or something; i don't really know, but hope that helps!

Hi, I have a number of queries around the movement of content between environments in SP2010.
1) Move a site from production to test without the production data
Is the best option here to save the site as a template and don't tick the include content box? Or is it better to take a site collection backup and then restore it to the test environment.
2) Once I have my site in test is there any way I can make changes, then move the site back to production while still maintaining the production data?
I don't know how this would work but maybe there is a way somehow. Say for example the site has been modified in test such as adding new site columns or content types, how should this be deployed to production? Is it simply a matter of replicating all the
changes manually to production?
It would be useful to get some best practices around this topic. Thanks.

This is depend the changes you need to move.
For empty or small sites, using site template can meet the requirement, you can consider using this.
Backup and move the content database between environment will lost production changes, this is not really recommended, if you keep the test environment update to date with production, you can use this way.
For kinds of changes move, there are various ways to sync the conent, like lists, master pages, css, etc. should be packaged in solution file, and deploy it between them.

There I found the album & all tracks shown as purchased but with no apparent way of downloading. When I check for items to download, it isn't there. When I check purchased items purchased, it isn't there either. It only appears when I tap the album cover from the front page & then only as purchased.

Check your Music app to see if it already downloaded. You can also check iTunes on your computer to Check for a available downloads. If you are still not able to get it, then report the issue to iTunes.

HT201272 I pre-ordered an album, but only 2 of the songs from that album are showing up to download. What do I need to do to get the rest of the album that I already bought?

Not sure what is going on here. I pre-ordered an album. One of the songs was available for instant download so I have that in my library now. I received an email saying that the rest of the album is available for download. When I go into my purchased songs as instructed, it only shows 2 other songs from that album. Not sure what I need to do.

Depending on your settings, the songs may already have been downloaded to your iTunes library.

If you've enabled iTunes to automatically download prepurchased content, then your pre-order content may already be downloaded to your library. If not, simply click the download link provided within your email notification, and your pre-order content will begin to download. Alternatively you can use the "Check for Available Downloads" feature in iTunes on your computer by choosing Store > Check for Available Downloadsto begin downloading your pre-order.

No ALBUM from Pre-order of RHCP

I pre-ordered The new Chili Peppers CD, I have recieved my ticket code and all but iTunes has not downloaded the CD yet. What is the deal? I tried checking for purchased music and nothing came up.

Two things. First, got an e-mail from Apple. Here's what they say:
Thank you for pre-ordering Stadium Arcadium. Customer interest in this album far outweighed our projections. We know you are anxious to receive this new album and we're working to get it to you as quickly as possible.
Your album should be available to download in the next 4-8 hours. When your pre-order is available, iTunes will automatically send an email to your registered email address. Make sure your email address is up-to-date in your Account Information screen. To launch iTunes and open the Account Information screen, click the link below.

It's been about 6 hours, and still the same error, so no luck so far.
Second, I actually want to get the album pre-order with the pre-order exclusives. Honestly, I couldn't care less about the code since they are not coming near my home and I don't want to shell out for bad tickets since all the good ones were taken by the fan club. To me, the fact that I cannot get the album that is clearly on sale is more irritating than not being given the code.

Pre-Ordering and album with already-released single

I'm wondering if I pre-order an album, do I get the already released single right away?
I've noticed times where I've downloaded the single, then purchased the album after release without the "complete my album" option. It seems sometimes the singles are flagged as their own album, or can't complete a deluxe edition, etc.
I'd hate to have to pay for a single song twice. Any insight from regular iTunes users?

Only when it's released - some pre-orders have tracks which are released before the actual album, which will download as they are released, but the rest of the album you will only be able to hear and download when it's released

Do I get the single when I pre-order an album?

I've pre-ordered Random Access Memories by Daft Punk, but I notice that the single isn't available for download from the album. Every other time I've pre-ordered an album off iTunes it's given me the single to download first. This isn't an option it seems, I can only get Get Lucky from the single version, and I'm not wild about paying for it twice. Anyone know why it's like this or will it become available soon? Thanks!

If a track is released from the EP before the actual EP is released then you will be charged the tracks's full price i.e. 1.29 - when the actual EP is released you will be charged 2.70 (3.99 minus the 1.29). If 2 tracks are released before the EP you will be charged 1.29 for each of the two tracks, then 1.41 for the EP

HT5714 Will I be charged extra for pre-ordering an album that has already released a few songs?

I pre-ordered an album for $18, and the album already had a few songs released on it. It seems that I received these songs instantly, but I also paid for them separately, which as most know, is more expensive than buying a full album. Does this mean that an additional $18 will be deducted from my account even though I've already paid for those separate few songs, and will I be charged for each song that releases up till the release date of the album?
I just thought I was paying $18, but now it looks like I'm paying more.

It's so funny you mentioned this, I'm currently having the same problem with the same album. I actually just finished sending iTunes an email about it (supposed to get back to me within 24 hours) and then found this article. I would suggest you do the same, but if you don't I'll try to remember to post back what I hear from them. I've always had great support for the odd thing that didn't work properly (like a glitch in a TV show or something) so I'm sure they'll clear this up without a problem. I asked the same thing too though, about what price I actually get charged, so hopefully I'll also get a response to that too. But yes, according to most pre-order rules in other stores, it should be the price we pre-ordered it for. Oh and yes I've checked for available downloads from the iTunes Store menu, but it just told me everything has been downloaded already. I double-checked my library to be sure it hadn't downloaded in the background but it was definitely not there. It has not downloaded yet.

I pre-ordered an album last november, and now it's finally avalible. On my Ipod, it says purchased, but there is no option for me to download the album. I also tried on my PC, and it still says purchased, but I cannot download the songs! Please help

Typically with pre-orders you should have received an email to download your tracks. If you have not received it, then report the issue to the iTunes Store.

Download a pre-ordered item: Click the link in the email notice or open iTunes and choose Store > Check for Available Downloads.
View, cancel, or see the expected release dates for pending pre-orders: Choose Store > View My Apple ID, and click Manage Pre-orders.
When you pre-order an item, you may not be able to download it at the exact moment it becomes available for regular purchase. You’ll receive an email the same day it becomes available to let you know when you can download the item.
Some albums or collections you can pre-order include a song that’s available to download immediately. When you pre-order these items, the available song is downloaded and you’re charged only for that song. When you download the rest of the album (after you’re notified it’s available), you’re charged for the rest.

Tried to pre-order an album but not working. Please help!!!

I tried to pre-order an album. It was one that came with a song that downloaded immedietly. I clicked pre-order and it said some error and to try again. I went to and realized I was charged for that one song that you can get first. So i thought it went ahead and pre-ordered the album anyway. I looked in my purchased history and saw nothing about the album or that one song, so it charged me for nothing! Any ideas how i can fix this?

I couldn't find an answer so i just emailed iTunes support and they fixed it for me. Thanks anyway!!!!

Check in your iTunes folder on your computer to find the files. If they are there, then drag on top of iTunes to import them in. If they are not there, then report the issue to the iTunes Store.

I've pre-ordered an album, the release date is 20th April. At what time will this download become available? One minute past midnight on the 20th?
I'm looking forward to the album so much I might stay up and wait for it. (Sad, I know.)
