Merging from Two files to One
Dear All,
I am doing a scenario where in the files are coming from two different sources.Also the fields in both the files are same say
File1 has 4 fields and file2 has 4 fields.But there will be a difference in one field.
File1 : a,b,c,d
File2: a,b,f,d
The result file will be the combination of the one different field like ( C and f ) in this case. So my target file will be a b c f d.
I am using BPM with co-relation for this scenaio but i have an issue in message mapping. Do i need to go in for multi mapping or do i need to write a UDF / ABAP mapping to club the message based on the field.
Please provide your inputs on the same.

Do you mean in the All Images search in the Finder?
IF so:
1.Never interact with photos that are in iPhoto via the All Images Search. This does not understand the iPhoto Library and it's very, very easy to damage the library this way.
2. What you were seeing was the original file you imported and the thumbnail created by iPhoto for viewing on the iPhoto Window. That thumbnail is not designed for user access.
What are you trying to do ultimately?

I use PrimoPDF (free download) to create pdf files. To merge two docs/pdfs/etc., print the first to a new pdf using Primo. Close it, then print the second and save it to the same new pdf. Primo gives you the option to 'append' or 'overwrite' the original file. By using 'append', you are just adding it to the back of the existing file. You can do this repeatedly to resort or combine existing pages into a new pdf.

I want to combine two files as one in File adapter itself. I am using a simple scenario of File-to-File where i am just sending the file from sender to receiver as it is , EXCEPT, i want to add one line at the end of the file .
I was thinking of doing this in File adapter , avoiding any mapping program in Integration Repository ..

You have 3 options,first one can be to execute a OS command before message processing or use adapter modules to append the new line in the sender adapter.
the second option(and better one) is to do this via message mapping.
third option is to write a OS script and execute it after message processing on receiver file adapter.
one thing you need to make sure is that since OS scripts run on XI server itself(not on FTP server) so in case you are picking file from FTP server and delivering to FTP ,then you can't use option 1 or 3,you can only use option 2

I have an iPhone 4, My itunes are from two differnt accounts; one from when I was under my dads account when i was younger, and the other is my own which i currently use. My question is would I be able to sync and update my itunes on my MacBook without having all the new music erased. I have the icloud on my phone, but I just want to update my music on my laptop. An "iTunes account" is an online account you use for buying music, like a bank account. An iTunes collection is the media you see when you open iTunes. Which do you mean?
If it is two computers, it would also help to know where these are located. Are they on the same local network? If they are, try Home Sharing (and you have control of both and you aren't just trying to get music fro your computer to your friend's computer in another state). If they are not, you'll have to use an external hard drive or flash drive.
Is this on a PC? Your computer information says Windows but you posted this in the iTunes for Mac forum. -

Actually I have two tables:
1. Base table (id, name, age)
2. Person table (id, city, street)
The id in both tables is identical.
I would like to delete using something like a join:
Delete from base, person where id=2;

If you want to delete records both at a time them your table must use ON DELETE CASCADE. See the below example.

Can I merge 3 jpeg files into one PDF on one page? For example: scanned newspaper article was too big for one scan process, I had to scan article 3 times. Can I merge these 3 jpegs and position them like columns?
Do you have Acrobat? If so, you can use the Add Image tool to place your images on the page where you want them to be. Alternatively, you can combine all 3 to a single PDF and then send that PDF to the PDF Printer, selecting the Multiple option to get them to appear on a single page of the new file.

I have been unsuccessful merging serval pdf files into one file. I select the Sidebar for both pdfs, then drag one pdf on top of the other and Save the Version. When I open the file I think I have saved, it shows only the original pdf. Advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

According to your description, there are two Reporting Services databases, and you want to merge the data in a tabular model, right?
As per my understanding, you can create a link server on one of the server, and then merge the data in database lever other than in tabular mode. In this case, import the merged data into the tabular model. Here are some useful links for you reference.

How to Merge multiple XML files in one file ( Env: XML Publisher 5.6.2)
All,
I have recently started working on XML publisher and have developed 3 reports in last 2 days using XML Publisher and integrating them with Concurrent programs.
This is a great tool.
I have got another requirement, where i need to use xml file generated by multiple run of same report with various parameters and then merge all xml file to a single report. Developing the whole custom process will take very long time and sure will have bugs in it. Instead i was thinking to use xml file generated by Oracle report itself.
Report "US Gross to net summary" generates xml output in standard output directory and then show output in PDF file. I have 7 such file generated for each payroll. I want to merge output of xml into a single xml so that i can create single report having data from all 7 xml files showing me All payroll output in a single report.
Can someone please guide me , how can i read xml file data from the output directory of a seeded concurrent program and how to manipulate data in it.

Thanks for replying. I have looked for "PDFBookBinder class" in xml publisher user guide for ver 5.6.2. I didn't get any reference of this text. Can you please guide me to a tutorial/link where i can get more information about this class.
Also, i originally thought of similar to your second logic, as my design basis. Oracle process generates the xml file in output directory which i can get. What i didn't get is how do i "pick them up and merge" using publisher. Also, is there way to do this merging process using pl/sql ? Can you please give little more information on your second approach.
My original plan of action is that i will create a report set in which i will call oracle seeded report for all 7 payrolls in a sequential manner. Then using the child requests of the report set i will get to 7 xml files generated by seeded oracle process. Then the piece i am not sure of , i will use those 7 files to generate a single xml file having payroll name as tree top for each output. Once single xml is ready, i can easily design a template and register the process to generate output as Excel.This process will not require me to actually change any data or do any calculation. It will only reformatting the feilds we see and abiity to see all 7 payroll at one time rather then entering these numbers manually into an excel to do analysis.
Please provide your feedback, if you think above plan is not feasible or need corrections.

Create PDF from two files in sub folder automation
I am looking to create an automation tool that does the following to help save time (the current process takes about 20 min):
First, take two specific files (The first page is a single worksheet excel file that is fitted to one page. The second is a word document.) in a user defined location and combine them into one document. Currently this is done manually through Acrobat 8 via the Create PDF function for each file then the Combine PDF function.
Second, I would like to have the Bookmark and Attachment pane set for initial view, but there is not a preset option for this. Is this even possible? Currently, I set the initial view to bookmarks and page, and include a not one the first page on how to open the attachment pane.
Third, all external links to documents, via hyperlinks, are added as attachements and the links are changed to point to the attachment so that all information is contained within one document.
Lastly, this newly created document is posted to an intranet location.
Any help in part or whole would be great.
NOTE: All code must be included as an add-in to Acrobat as this is within a corporate environment and server side scripts are not allowed.I have created the following script as a start to trying to figure this out, but I am getting unexpected results. When I run this script, I get the two files, Temp and Combined. The Temp file is, as expected, a pdf version of the last file in the array, but the Combined file is where the problem is. With the Combined file, I have one blank page, then my single worksheet from the workbook, and then only the first page of the word document which is 26 pages. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
In addition, is there a way to prompt the user to select the filepath through a Windows Explorer interface?

How can I put photos from two iphones in one library?
I want to use one family Macbook pro for downloading photos from two iphones with separate apple IDs. In other words, we'd like to have all our photos stored in one library on the Macbook. Possible, and if so how does one set it up?
If you use iPhoto on the Macbook you can merge the photos from multiple cameras (iPhones) into one library. The Apple Id is irrelevant for this.
