Merging Inventory Data With Other Data

Dear Experts,
I have a requirement where in i am trying to combine Inventory Data with data from other datasource (0CO_PC_ACT_05).
I have designed the Bex query from both the sources. Now i have tried to merge the data at BO level by merging dimesions
plant and material. It works fine for small data set but there is performance issue as we have huge inventory data of more than 15 years.
Kindly suggest me the other methods through which i can merge the data.

Hi! Rajesh,
The input for Inventory Query is Plant,calender date,storage location, material type.
For Material Ledger query the input is fiscal year/period and plant.
I have merged the dimensions Plant and material at BO level.

MathScript Nugget #19: Sharing Data With Other Applications

In MathScript Nugget #18, we looked at ways to transfer data between MathSript and the rest of LabVIEW. In today's nugget, we'll see some of the different ways that MathScript can share data with programs besides LabVIEW.
The most common way to share data between programs is by reading and writing files. MathScript supports several file formats that are recognized by other programs. The ones we'll touch on in this nugget are MLV, MAT, CSV, TXT, TDM(S) and XLS.
The easiest way to bring data into MathScript is with the 'load' function. The help topic for this function does a great job of explaining it. The load function will bring in a group of variables that have been saved to a file earlier. The most common formats that load supports are:
MLV files created with MathScript save function
MAT files created with version 6.0 or earlier of The MathWorks, Inc. MATLAB® software
TDM and TDMS binary measurement files created in LabVIEW or DIAdem
The load and save functions are great for storing off a group of variables to be used again in a future session of MathScript. You can do the same thing using the Operate>>Load Data... and Operate>>Save Data... menu items in the MathScript Window. These support the same file formats as load and save.
The best formats to use if you want to share data with other applications are TXT, CSV, and XLS. MathScript has special funcitons to read and write each of these formats. The functions, such as fread_csv and fwrite_xls, are all members of the support class.
The last way to read and write data files with MathScript is to use a custom file format. MathScript supports common file operations like fread and fwrite. You can use these functions to create or import files of any binary or textual format.
There's one last way to move data out of MathScript without using files. You can copy data from the MathScript Window or MathScript Probe as tab-delimited text to your OS clipboard. You can then paste this text to a text editor or spreadsheet program.
Hopefully now you have an idea of the many ways to move data into and out of MathScript.

Algning new folder with other data columns in a document library

Hi All,
I have created an InfoPath form that used to create a new form & a new document library and the description to that folder.
Now my InfoPath form has some text boxes to store data. Also there is an attachment control to upload documents. These documents should be uploaded to the newly created folder.
The new folder should display at the document library as in the same row with other data columns that were inserted to the data library. I have the problem with the new folder aligning in the same row with other data.
So if someone can know how to solve this matter please enlighten me.

Can you provide more detail on what exactly you need to achieve and how your system is functioning at the moment? It sounds like you have an Infopath form that can have documents attached to it, you then store these documents into a new folder and wish to
have the folder represented in the list view for the form in the form library you are using?

How to use the JE database with other data types than byte arrays?

Hi! I searched the javadoc of Berkley DB JE, for a way to introduce entry (but I need also retrieve) data with other type than byte arrays, e.g. String, or anything else, as int may be, etc.
Still, I didn't find any such way, because the main (only?!) method to entry data into an open database - according what I found in javadoc - is:
"public OperationStatus put(Transaction txn, DatabaseEntry key, DatabaseEntry data) throws DatabaseException"
and both this and the corresponding method for retrieves, are based on the same DatabaseEntry type, which allow only entry data on byte[] support.
What if I need to use Strings or int, or even char? I must do a special conversion from these types, to byte[], to use the database?

Why does my phone use data with cellular data turned off?

I have problems with my iPhone 5 using data on its own. It usually happens at night, with all the apps closed and plugged in to charge (should be connected to my wifi). Recently, I started turning off my cellular data any time I'm at home out of desperation to save my data. Last night, my phone used 6MB of data with my data off, plugged in. I use My Data Manager to track, it matches up with AT&T's record of my data usage, so I'm pretty sure the app is not wrong. I have the 200MB plan, so I have to be very careful and it's incredibly frustrating to wake up and find 6MB gone when cellular data was turned off. Does anyone know what's going on? I haven't bothered calling Apple or AT&T, I never get anywhere with either one.

I'm not familiar with My Data Manager but from the name I would think it would tell you what app or apps have used the data and that might help narrow down the problem. If it doesn't have that information, you can go to Settings > Cellular > Use Cellular Data For and that shows usage by each app and if you click on System Services in that list it will also give details of that usage. The numbers are since you last reset the statistics (bottom of that screen). With a little time and detective work you may be able to identify the cause.
Also, there have been many discussions on various internet forums of AT&T (and other) reporting of the time of data usage not matching the actual time of the use. The usage numbers over a number of days for example are accurate but usage reported at 2AM may actually be a summary of some types of use that happened the previous day.

Billing user exit to overwrite the service rendered date with billing date

My client would like to determin the rebate conditions based on billing date. However, the system only uses the service rendered date for rebate determination.
Therefore, I am trying to overwrite the service rendered date with billing date at the time of billing creation.
Could you please let me know what user exit I can use?
I can't user the user exit RV60AFZC because the billing date is not determined when this user exit is running.

or if you are working with ECC 6.0 use the Enancement Spot ES_SAPLV60A available from SE80 by giving package VF and then selecting Enhancements and then expanding Enhancement Spots

Generic Extractor: enriching GL Data with Purchasing Data

Experts,
This is my first time with Generic Extractor.
Requirement:
We have a requirement to enrich GL data with Purchasing data via the Material Document Number.
I need to provide this upto to the datawarehouse layer wherein another team will take over.
Solution idea:
Material Document is not part of the datasource 2LIS_02_SCL.
a. Should I enhance this datasource to include material number OR
b. Develop a concept to create a generic delat enabled extractor that pulls data from EKBE, GR and IR information.
In EKBE multiple material documents can exist per PO. The extractor returns 2 record per PO (before and after image) with the updated information.So if we have the first GR with Material document 901 and then a second GR with material doc 902 the extractor loads 3 records. New record, Before image and after image and the only one stored in BI is the after image. material doc would have value 902 if enhanced.
For the generic extractor approach the the ability to load deltas is crucial, since the EKBE table is very big. Maybe
"CPUDT-Day On Which Accounting Document Was Entered" and "CPUTM-Time of Entry" can be leveraged as delta hook.
Any ideas???

Merge counter data with analog data

Greetings,
I need to measure a variety of analog signals and RPM signals and save the data to a file. I had intended to use counters for the RPM signals. The problem is that the counters use implicit timing which is totally asynchronous to the ai sample clock. Therefore, there is no time or sample correlation from the counter data to the analog data. I would like to merge the counter data with the analog data into a waveform array. Does anyone know of a method that would allow such a merger?

Thank you for your response. I understand what you are suggesting and have used that technique before for displaying data. The first, and foremost, problem is that there is inherently no timestamp and no regularity from most frequency/period measurements. Thus, there is no time relationship to other channels. I was hoping for a technique that would synthesize a waveform from asynchronous, non-regular data that could be related to other waveform data. This may be an insurmountable problem and I may just have to revert to frequency-to-voltage converters.

Recording birthday dates with other contact information

I would like to be able to record birthday dates along with other contract info in my phone directory and at the same time, have my calendar app. "remember" and "record" these dates so that I will automatically be reminded of upcoming birthdays without making a separate entry.
I could do that on my Blackberry but not with the Razr. Any suggestions.

I remember signing into my Google calendar from a computer and adding a calendar called contacts birthdays. Then whichever Gmail/Google contacts had birthdays and any I added afterwards were added to that calendar and synced with my phone.

Problem with other data

On my ipod touch, a have 1.38GB of other data and i want to remove it but i don't know how or the best/safest way, also i would like to know now before it starts growing. I do not want to have to restore my ipod as i am unclear an to how back-up works and if it also saves game data. I also have the comicx app and have a lot of comics stored on it and i don't want to have to download them all again. Can someone please help me with my problem, it would be greatly appriciated

may be there is a duplicate primary key added previously and it has created a clash. check also whether the primary key for that particular row is present (not null).

Linking CDF data with Device Data

Is there any way of linking the "Site" data from inventory (collected

Also the "Department:" and "Location:" fields in the devices summary page don't copy across to the "Dept:" and "Location:" fields in the Inventory summary page. Are they different and if so how do you update them? Also no "Location" field for the CDF.
All I'm after is a report of each device and its location.
