Merging of contacts - how to STOP or manually UN-merge? not working properly!!!
Hi,
how to STOP merging of contacts? Or manually un-merge them?
Everybody seems to like that feature to avoid double entries, but in my case it leads to missing or accidently mixed up contacs.
I use a Q10 with an exchange account for buisness contacs, and gmail for private.

my parents share the same surname, adress, and landline telephone number. wow, what a surprise. now bb10 merges theese two contact and I only see my father in the list. if I search for my mother also my father shows up.
How can I manage to keep them as two different contacts in my list without getting them a divorce?

A colleague of mine is in my exchange list as busness contac, and in my gmail list as private contact. bb10 automaticaly merges those and the private mobile number gets lost. also I want to avoid that his private mobile number gets synced to our buisness crm server....
is it possible to tell bb10 to keep some contacts apart???
this is really annoying.
after 15+ years of contacs synching experience with different devices I believe it is more likely that humanity will get mars terraformed, before they get this sh** to work properly.
I'll take that bet on the terraforming by the way, what shall we say a hundred?

Make sure that you're using the latest version of iOS.
Make sure that your fingers and the Home button are clean and dry.*
Cover the Home button completely. Don't tap too quickly, don't press down hard, and don't move your finger while Touch ID is scanning. Make sure that your finger touches the metal ring around the Home button.
If you're using a case or screen protector, make sure it doesn't cover the Home button or the surrounding ring. If it does, remove the case or screen protector and try again.
Tap Settings > Touch ID & Passcode and make sure that iPhone Unlock or iTunes & App Store is on. Also make sure that you've enrolled one or more fingerprints.
Try enrolling a different finger.
If you can't enroll any of your fingers, take your device to an Apple Retail Store, Apple Authorized Service Provider, or contact AppleCare for help.
* Moisture, lotions, sweat, oils, cuts, or dry skin might affect fingerprint recognition. Certain activities can also temporarily affect fingerprint recognition, including exercising, showering, swimming, cooking, or other conditions or changes that affect your fingerprint.

I am experiencing a problem with call merging in my iPhone 6 iOS 8.1 (T-Mobile). Sometimes it is hanging when I am tapping on merge option, hanging in the sense both the call remains in hold state and have to disconnect and call back, once it even was not able to disconnect a call after hanging.

Adobe Creative Cloud (Desktop) does not work properly. The application is blocked : it could not be launch neither stopped. I'm on MAC Yosemite OS, does anyone know how to remove it properly or to force its stop. It does not appear in the launched applications.
I received no error message. The application was just trying to find applications unsuccessfully.
I am using MAC OS 10.10.1
I tried to uninstall the application but it seems that a kind of deamon is still installed thus providing me to reinstall properly. Do you know where are the elements to remove in order to get my machine just like before ?
Otherwise I would have to reinstall everything and this would be a pain.

Help! My Mouse pad is not working properly. The arrow cannot be controlled, it just keeps jumping all over the page. How can I stop this?
There are several possible causes for this issue. Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried until it's resolved. Some may not apply in your case.
1. Follow the instructions in this support article, and also this one, if applicable. A damaged or defective AC adapter could be the cause, even if it's the right kind.
2. Press down all four corners of the trackpad at once and release. If there's any effect, it's likely to be temporary, and in that case the unit must be serviced or replaced.
3. Open the Bluetooth preference pane in System Preferences and delete all pointing devices other than the trackpad, if applicable. Disconnect any USB pointing devices. By a "pointing device," I mean a peripheral that moves the cursor, such as a trackpad, mouse, trackball, or graphics tablet. A plain keyboard is not a pointing device.
4. Start up in safe mode and test, preferably without launching any third-party applications. If you don't have the problem in safe mode, but it comes back when you restart as usual, stop here and post your results. Do the same if you can't start in safe mode. If there was no difference in safe mode, go on to the next step.
5. Reset the System Management Controller.
6. If you're using a Bluetooth trackpad, investigate potential sources of interference, including USB 3 devices.
7. A swollen battery in a portable computer can impinge on the trackpad from below and cause erratic behavior. If you have trouble clicking the trackpad, this is likely the reason. The battery must be replaced without delay.
8. There's a report that a (possibly defective) Thunderbolt Ethernet adapter can cause the built-in trackpad of a MacBook to behave erratically. If you're using such an adapter, disconnect it and test.
9. There's also a report of erratic cursor movements caused by an external display that was connected but not turned on.
10. If none of the above applies, or if you have another reason to think that your computer is being remotely controlled, remove it from the network by turning off Wi-Fi (or your Wi-Fi access point), disconnecting from a Bluetooth network link, and unplugging the Ethernet cable or USB modem, whichever is applicable. If the cursor movements stop at once, you should suspect an intrusion.
11. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine and/or external trackpad tested. -
How do you contact Apple by email to report one of their pre-installed iPad Apps (ie Calender) is not working properly?
On trying to open month of March 2013 the pre-installed calendar just shuts down and closes. Have tried restarting iPad but this didn't help and because its a pre-installed App am unable to re-install it. Is this a universal problem or just affecting me? Tried searching for support in both App Store and on Apple site and can't see how to report this.Feedback

Hello. I sent my WRT1900AC V1 to Linksys four days ago (Monday) via UPS with a RMA. Linksys paid the shipping and everything. The router is still in route, and it should arrive to their offices tomorrow. Once they receive the WRT1900 AC V1, they are going to send me an EA8500 as a replacement. But I have been reading the comments about the EA8500 here in the forum and it seems to have the same problems. I guess the firmware is extremely flawed in both routers (maybe it is almost the same code?). Anyway, I will try the EA8500 and I hope it works. I bought a temporary router from Walmart and I paid $35 for it. It is a Belink N600 DB. I can't believe that a $35 router is working a lot, lot, lot better than my previous $250 WRT1900AC router. Unbelievable. If the EA8500 doesn't work, I'm going to try and get my money back from Linksys, or contact The Consumerist or someone to get my money back and get a Nighthawk instead.

Headphones not working properly, i need to contact apple
Hi! My headphones are not working properly and I need to request new ones from Apple but I do not know how to contact them through e-mail, I couldnt find such an option in the support pages, I also need to ask them an issue about my warranty. I can not use the chat help option because somehow I can only select ipod shuffle and i do not even have it, why are chat pages only for ipod shuffle? Anyway, I'll be glad if somebody tells me what to do to contact them by mail. Thanks!

My late 2011 Macbook Pro is not working properly it is very slow and extremely painful to use, I went to a Genius Bar appointment, they were not helpful at all and just told me to go off and reboot my Mac and then restore via TimeMachine. I dont know how to do this. I am extremely displeased with Apple at the moment, can someone please help me?
Your problem description is generalized and non-specific. I would make another appointment at the Apple store and insist they help you execute their suggested fixes.
Incidentally, if you search this site, Apple has excellent articles re: restoring a system.

I did the latest update to my I pad 2 and lost Safari . I was instructed to switch the Java script on which I did but Safari is still not working properly . how do I get everything back after this software update.
Try a reset: hold down the home button along with the power button until you see the Apple, then let go.
