Merging two unallocated spaces.

I have shrinked my c drive and got 10 gb free space.
Also shrinked d drive and got 200 gb space.But both pf these spaces are showing in disk management as two different unallocated sapces.
Is there any way to merge these two unallocated spaces and make a new drive out of it.
Please Advice..

Since your unallocated space is not next to each other, you often cannot merge them simply in Disk Management.
But, as you’ve mentioned, there are still some partition resizing tools that can help you freely add process the unallocated space, like GParted, IM-Magic Partition Resizer Free and Active Partition Master, etc.
If you really know nothing about partition resizing stuff, here is video tutorial that teaches about how to resize a partition step by steps:

Note: You’d better back up all your partition data in case of data loss.

Please help me on merging two unallocated free spaces in my internal harddisk. I already tried searching for options in diskmanagement but nothing found to do that. The harddisk has two free spaces(1gb and 50.78gb) now, I want to merge them into single one

Go to this website and read about how to use Windows disk management. Windows disk management is an integral part of Vista located in Administrative tools. No third party software is required to do what you want to do.

Your iCloud account has 5GB space for email, for calendar and contacts syncing, for iWork documents and for iOS backups - all these live on the sever. Both devices access the account; the 5GB space they make use of is the same and is on the server. It's not a case of two spaces, one for each device.

There is no merge but you can move data from one account to another via the Shared folder. Data is copied from Shared. Watch your free space when copying. These are large files. Do one at a time if you are on a small drive. After making copy, delete from other users before you start next copy.
Office365 installs in the main Applications folder and is available for all users on the computer. Activation is tied to the drive not the User.

New canvio connect 2tb shows 101mg unallocated space in in computer mgmt admin tools

i have a new canvio connect 2tb external hard drive. model hdtc720xk3c1. when ni checked the drive in administrative tools computer management it shows both a 101mb unallocated space and a health partion. It this the master boot record. Why does it show any unallocated space. iknow 101mb is small. Could not get satifactory fron tech support. I have two other 1tb external hard drives and thers is no unallocated space

How about "select partition 1" and "active"?
I'd stay away from the Cruzer. You may be able to create another set of media using this trick. I'm not sure if it still works with your machine.

Another thing I'd like to try but haven't: create another bootable USB flash drive using that link I posted up-thread. It will be blank. Then make sure you have all the "visibility" options selected for the drive with the recovery image (don't hide system files, etc) and copy the contents of the recovery drive that won't boot to the newly prepared drive. Does that make any sense?
This kind of thing works for the Win 7 install DVD files. Just copying them to a properly-prepared flash drive will generate a usable install USB drive. I've done it many times. It _might_ work with the Lenovo media. Maybe...

Merging two columns with muliple rows in Numbers '09

I am trying to merge two columns each with 100 rows and related data. Column one is the street address and column two have office numbers. The final result would be one column with 100 rows with address and office numbers.

Hi Ed,
Use the CONCATENATE() function.
Street address in column D, Office number in Column E
100 Smith ST 212
Formula: =CONCATENATE(E," ",D)
Result:
212 100 Smith ST
Note the formula has three arguments, the reference to column E, a text literal (" ") containing a single space, and a reference to column D.

Extend System Simple Volume to Non-Contiguous Unallocated Space

Hi:
I have a Windows Server 2008 R2 virtual machine for which I need to extend the system simple volume on a dynamic disk to non-contiguous unallocated space. I realize 2008 Disk Manager and diskpart cannot accomplish this but that some 3rd party tools
can get the job done. Does anyone recommend a specific 3rd party application that they've used for this purpose successfully, or any horror stories/products to stay away from?

Hi,
Microsoft does not provide third party software, you can backup the partition which is contiguous with system simple volume and delete it. Then, merge unallocated space to the system simple volume with Disk Management snap-in.

You can't merge history otherwise then using Sync to store the history and bookmarks of one places.sqlite on the Sync server and then disconnect.<br />
Copy the second places.sqlite file to your Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed.
Then setup Sync once again using that account and merge the content on the Sync server with your computer.

How can I merge two iPhoto libraries stored on an external drive?

Today I was in a One-to-One at the Apple Store. I want to merge two i-Photo libraries into one. One library is on my Air, the other is on my iMac. Both libraries have been moved to an external drive. When I try to move one onto the other, they won't go. Yet I am certain that while at the store today, the person there started to merge them. He did not need the library manager software in order to do so. We stopped the merge in order to move on to another issue. Now that I am home, I can't get the libraries to merge. What am I failing to do? Thanks!

The only way to merge two libraryies is to use iPhoto Library Manager which will merge two libraries and keep keywords, titles, faces, places, and other metadata intact.
If one imports one library into another library every image file in the first library, originals, thumbnails, face files, etc, get imported as an original photo. You will end up with a total mess. DO NOT IMPORT ONE LIBRARY INTO ANOTHER LIBRARY!
If you have backup copies of your libraries get them back and use iPhoto Library Manager to merge them.

Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.
