Message Area shows message from previous BAPI call

Hi fellow Visual Composer Developers, I am 2 weeks into trying to get to grips with VC, I have managed to model some simple Iviews and all is good, I am encoutering the following issue. When I call a BAPI in the backend R/3 system any messages that are issued are shown in the message area which is fine, but if I invoke a new call then the message area shows the message from the earlier call, In ABAP this would be resolved by clearing the RETURN structure of the BAPI, how can this be accomplished via VC, I have tried calling a bespoke BAPI which clears the RETURN structure but the message store seems to be at the VC end ..
Can anyone shed any light on this problem

Hello Turlock,
It seems I was unable to reproduce this problem. I tried two scenarios:
1. the 2nd call is to the same service
2. the 2nd call is to another service
In both cases the messages from the 1st service call are cleared in case messages are not due.
If you still have this problem I would recommend opening a ticket, so this can be further investigated.
*which Visual Composer version are you using (major & SP)?

As ckuan said, there's no way to mark messages as urgent from the phone. So, either your carrier is doing something and you'll need to contact them or it't something on the other end. Is it just one person who's seeing your texts as urgent? Or everyone?

Malicious messages are being sent from my account

IPad calendar events are showing as the previous day

On my iPad calendar, events (daily ones rather than specific time ones) are showing as the previous day e.g. Bank holidays are showing that they are a Sunday rather than the Monday. The dates are synced from Outlook which is correct as is my iPhone calendar (synced from the same source). Pretty confused why this is happening and a touch annoyed. Have tried looking at settings but nothing strikes me as being incorrect e.g. I'm on British GMT.

If you use iCloud check the settings on the icloud website on the right top corner. Sometimes the settings are wrong and the hole sync fails.

You don't. Apps are forever tied to the Apple ID used to originally obtain them & cannot be transferred to another Apple ID. You need to purchase the app using your ID.

PL/SQL log messages are not printing from Java concurrent program

Hi,
I have a strange issue while submitting the Java concurrent program through PL/SQL.
I have a PL/SQL concurrent program which will invoke the Java concurrent program inside the package by use of "FND_GLOBAL.SUBMIT_REQUEST". It worked and submitted successfully. From that Java concurrent program we are calling some other PL/SQL packages and printing some log messages over there. But problem here is the request is only printing the Java log messages in view log but not the PL/SQL log messages. But if I submit the Java concurrent program directly from SRS form at that it is printing both Java and PL/SQL log messages.
I am just wondering how the log messages has not printed. Please provide your inputs to solve this problem.

Instant messages now showing up from 'voicemail'

after upgrading an iphone 3gs and 4 to ios 5 and turning on imessage... instant messages from those phones to each other are showing up as from 'voicemail', and not alerting me when they arrive... we also have an ipad and a message from that device to those phones does the same thing.

ok i fixed that by deleting my contact of 'voicemail'. but now when i get a message from my other phone it shows as it is from that contact, but when i go to messages it somehow changes who it is from to me...

Messages are not deleted from the DB

Hi, in the OCS Database, as i understand, all the messages that are deleted goes to a collection folder (id=4). The Problem is that none was deleted so far from it! All the old messages are still archived on the DB and i want to erase them all, how????

this information on database platform in use is essential!
In that db2 version, there is no native "truncate table" statement (this statement is executed at the very end of a table switch), and the DBSL implemented the abap truncate statment using the following DB2 native commands:
"IMPORT FROM /dev/null of DEL REPLACE INTO <table name>"
In SAP enviornment, the default behavior of the above command does not release the physical storage associated with an object because of the following database registry setting:
<i> DB2_TRUNCATE_REUSESTORAGE=IMPORT [DB2_WORKLOAD]
Hence, an offlince table reorg is necessary after the truncate.
For a detailed description of this registry variable DB2_TRUNCATE_REUSESTORAGE, please refer to the following IBM online doc:

Messages are NOT deleted from tables XI_AF_MSG and XI_AF_MSG_AUDIT

I set the retention period to 7 days (1 week)
I also set the default ARCHIVE and DELETE jobs and ALL are working fine.
However, messages with OLD dates are NOT deleted from the tables XI_AF_MSG and XI_AF_MSG_AUDIT.
These tables 32GB in the DBD table space.
I tried to use the URL:
http://<host>:<port>/MessagingSystem/archiving/reorgdb.jsp
BUT to NO avail.
How do I DELETE or ARCHIVE these messages ?

Now to your questions:
1. When using the URL:
http://<host>:<port>/MessagingSystem/archiving/reorgdb.jsp
    I did NOT get any ERROR messages.
    Thousands of messages where DELETED successfully.
    However, the number of rows in XI_AF_MSG_AUDIT did NOT reduce.
2. I used the default archiving and deletion customizations and jobs.
   However, I ran them manually a few times a day with NO change in the
   number of rows in XI_AF_MSG_AUDIT
   What do you mean by "customized any Archiving for adapter Engine" ?
. In RWB, I do see the default job is running
Have you customized any Archiving for adapter Engine or You are using default arciving which runs every 24 hrs.
3. I did ser the retention period for the adapter engine messages in visual admin in seconds...
Please, advise further.

          was used in all cases.
          Subsequently I ran the same case with various ServerDebug DebugJMSXXX-flags set,
          and discovered that WLS 6.1 sp3 logs 'asyncDeleteL' and 'ZZZDelete' for the consumed
          message. WLS 6.1 sp4 didn't log this information.
          I'm running WLS 6.1 on WinNT and Win2000.

I've am having exactly this problem with wl 5.1....
          I first saw it with 5.1 sp8....
          In the release notes for 5.1 sp10, the following CR was fixed, which seemed
          like it might have been my problem:
          CR 45915
          Fixed a JMS problem with messages begin left in the queue after received messages had been acknowledged. When a high volume of
          messages was sent to a queue and a consumer retrieved those messages and sent them to another queue, the messages were not being
          removed from the first queue even though they were acknowledged.
          We upgraded to 5.1 sp12, and it appeared that the incidence of that problem was reduced.
          However it still occurs once or twice a week, with 5.1 sp12....
          My situation is a little bit different, in that my consumer retieves a message, and sends another
          message to the SAME queue instead of another queue as described in the CR above...
          It does happen under heavy load, etc....
          Don't know if this has been reported and identified for wl 5.1 sp12 or not...
          It is of course a really difficult to deal with bug....
